But since not everyone can get along in this world, "despair" is still a word. I want to work hard, to get rid of all the despair in this world. But... I never knew that I'd fallen right into a trap, full of despair. I woke up and made breakfast for Master Kazuichi as usual. Then, we walked to Hope's Peak Academy, our school... As usual. But it was rather unusual because I bumped into someone.

Junko

"Heeeyy! You're that robot girl that has that unknown talent! It's... Y/N I believe!" 

You

She came up closer, inspecting my body. 

Junko 

As I walked in circles around her I carried a knife in my hand. 

Kazuichi

"Y/N Watch out!" 

You

I listened to Master Kazuichi's warning, although I didn't really need to. Right when she struck the knife, about to go through my chest, I simply moved to the left and lifted up my right arm, the knife sticking through the air under my arm instead.

Junko

I grinned.

Mukuro

"Junko, we shouldn't waste our time on her."

Junko

"Shut up you flat-chested bitch!" 

Kazuichi

"You're crazy! Come on Y/N, let's go!" I grabbed her hand and ran to our class as quickly as I could. She's dangerous.

You

"Master Kazuichi... If you wanted it, I could've killed her. She is weak."

Kazuichi

K-Kill? "N-No. Killing is wrong."

You

"I understand."

Kazuichi

Once I brought myself and Y/N far enough from that girl, we sat against a wall, catching our breath. Well, only I was catching my breath. I forgot that Y/N wasn't a human. I looked to the left side of the path we were sitting on and there was another... group of students. Here we go again.

Random Student

"Hey! You pink-haired freak!"

You

"He isn't a pink-haired freak," I said, confidently. 

Random Student

"What did you say?" 

You

"I said, he isn't a pink-haired freak. You are the freak."

Kazuichi

"Y/N... Don't talk back... You're going to get hurt." I said as quietly as I could, but just enough so she could hear me.

Random Student

I scoffed. "Who do you think you are?" I shoved her shoulder and walked past her. What a fucking weakling.

Kazuichi

"Just let it go Y/N..."

You

Before he walked away, I grabbed his shoulder and started putting more and more pressure on it. 

Random Student

"Hey! What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" 

You

I wonder if I should crush his arm, or just let it go.

Random Student

She was staring right at me with her E/C eyes, it was hella creepy. "Get your dirty hands off me!" Again, I smacked her hand off of my shoulder. 

Kazuichi

"Y/N! I told you to let it go!" 

You

"Right. Forgive me." Is this what pain from words feels like? He sounded... Angry. I shouldn't be sad. I should be upset at myself. I stared at the group of students walk away, upset at myself that I couldn't do anything about it. I turned around to look at Master Kazuichi with a smile, and asked him: "Do you forgive me?" 

Kazuichi

Why is... Why is she crying? Is it even possible for robots to cry? "O-Oh don't be sorry! I didn't mean to yell at you! Please stop crying!"

You

I'm crying? Is it possible for my kind to shed tears? I touched my lower eyelid, and there laid a teardrop on my hand. Huh. So robots really can cry.

Kazuichi

"Y/N? Are you okay?" 

You

"Yes. Let's get to class." And just like that, the whole school period passed by.

Kazuichi

It's a sunny day out. I should bring Y/N somewhere to make up for what I did to her today.

You

"A beach?"

Kazuichi

"Yeah! A sandy area with lots of water!"

You

"Won't that affect my robot's build?"

Kazuichi

"Nope! I added some things so that you'd be waterproof!" 

You

Hm... A sandy area with lots of water... It sounds interesting.

Ms. Yukizome

"Hey, you two! The beach sounds like a fun place to visit! Why don't we all go together?" 

You

"That sounds fun," I said, with a closed eye smile.

Kazuichi

I guess she isn't sad anymore.

You

So this is what a beach looks like? It was definitely what I wasn't expecting. 

Ibuki

"Woohoo!" I jumped right into the water as soon as we arrived!

Akane

"Who wants to race?! The last one to the water has to get buried in the sand!"

Sonia

"What a nice view!" I ran to the shore of the body of water.

Kazuichi

"Wait for me, Miss Sonia!"

I stood by the shore, kicking my feet through the body of water with a towel wrapped around me. It was amazing, I'd never seen something so amusing!

Teruteru

"Why aren't you swimming Y/N? Take off the tow-"

You

Before the little perverted... "thing" could touch me, I pulled his hair and threw him right into the water. "Teruteru, you shouldn't say such inappropriate things." 

Teruteru

I couldn't hear a thing that Y/N was saying under this water!

Kazuichi

"You're not gonna swim?" 

You

"Later I will. I would just like to get used to this water. It's truly amazing."

Kazuichi

"Hey... Are you mad at me? Or something?" 

You

"No. Why do you ask?" I looked up at Master Kazuichi. But as he was talking, I completely ignored him and was just focused on how... On how he looked?

Kazuichi

"Y/N?"

You

Why do I feel like this? Is it because he isn't wearing a shirt? Is it because he looks different from how I usually see him? What does he mean his hair is badly layered? It looks perfectly fine to me! In fact, it looks very-

Kazuichi

"Y/N?! What's up with you? Are you bugging out?"

You

Oh... I was lost in thought... Master Kazuichi was waving his hand in front of my face. "Sorry." I quickly turned my head back to the water and kneeled down, playing with it once again. I thought it would calm me from accidentally saying my thoughts out loud.
