Autumn's POV
When someone finally take the blindfold off of my face, the light stings my eyes. After they adjust, I see that I'm in a small, grubby, basement looking room. In the center of the room, right in front of me, stood a man.
The man was twitching like he had drank too much caffeine. His hair was frizzy and long, but dark. His eyes were bloodshot and round.
"Hello girly and welcome to your new home!" he says in a high pitched voice while sneering.
"This isn't my home... Louis will find me, I know he will!" I shout.
"He will, in fact, I told him where we are... Paris!"
"Paris?! That's-that's so far away!"
The man giggles like a small child.
"I know! That's why I chose this place, so that when I take you all hostage, nobody will notice!"
"You will never take my friends hostage!"
"We'll see about that... ta-ta!"
The man twirled and walked away, up a staircase and then he was out of sight.
I squeeze my eyes shut, seeing if maybe I have access to anyone's mind. The strange man's mind is accessible, but I don't want to know what's going on in there.
Then, faintly, I can hear Louis's mind. He's worrying about me. I can hear my friends's minds too but even more faintly, like whispers in my head.
     I try to send a message to him in my head. Right now I was working on a simple help.
     Finally, I hear his mind react. I hear Autumn? Where are you? Are you ok?
     That drained a lot of energy out of me, so I'm going to get my message through with as little words as possible.
      I respond with basement in Paris... all right for now.
     I feel his mind relax.
Alright babe, I'm coming for you soon, I promise I won't let anything happen to you.
     I decide that there's nothing more to say so I just close my eyes and take a nap, waiting for my Louis to come and rescue me.
Louis's POV
     I race to the town square. I yell at the top of my lungs, "AUTUMN WAS TAKEN, AUTUMN WAS TAKEN!"
     Kora and Freddy zap out of nowhere, Freddy's arms wrapped around her. The air temperature drops and the sky turns cloudy. In the distance, you can hear thunder. Russ and Sasha race over. Victoria dashes out of a nearby store, her eyes lit with rage. You can hear feet pounding as May and Daniel arrive.
"Guys!! Autumn was kidnapped! They left this note!" I say. They snatch it out of my hands and read it vigorously.
"Monday is tomorrow... everyone needs to get prepared. Find a weapon or two and dress in any black clothing that you can find. We'll meet here at sunrise." says Victoria, her voice stone cold.
Everyone nods, serious expressions across their faces. My face hardens too. I was going to get Autumn back.
Victoria's POV
     My heart was made of black steel. I had no mercy left anymore. Anyone who messed with my Autumn was going to pay... with their life.
Sasha's POV
     They took Autumn. My mind just finally processes what happened. They took Autumn. Where is she? My eyes widen in panic and I fall to the ground. Russ was right there beside me.
     "Autumn... they took her." is the whisper that escapes my lips. Russ just nods. He holds me and I hug him. Finally, when I stand up, I'm ready. I will fight whoever it was who took Autumn. And we will get her back... no matter what the cost might be.
Kora's POV
     My best friend, the person who knows all of my secrets. The one who was always there for me before Freddy took an interest in me. The one with me since second grade.
Freddy and I go into the house where we stayed last night. No one has dared going upstairs yet since there were no human ashes downstairs, there's probably some upstairs.
I walk up the staircase, into the first room I see. Baby's room. I go to the next one. Bathroom. I enter the last and final door. Master bedroom. And I've found where the people who lived here are. The bed is covered with human ashes.
     I call Freddy and he comes beside me.
     "This is the only place with clothes that could possibly fit us, unless you're a 2 month old baby..." I say.
     "Let's do this. Just don't go near the bed please." he says.
     I walk to the drawers and past the bed. The smell of the ashes makes me gag. I grab a pair of black leggings and a black shirt. I then race out of the room and to the bathroom. I slip out of my old, dirty clothes and into my new ones. Then I wait for Freddy downstairs.
He has on a pair of black sweatpants and a baggy black t-shirt. Classic Freddy. He sits down next to me.
"Hey, are you ok? I know that I miss Autumn and I hope that she's ok but I know that you two were super close... are you ok or no?" he asks me, cautiously.
I just shake my head no, tears filling my eyes. He puts an arm around me and let's me cry all I want. After I'm done, I close my eyes, trying to pretend that Autumn is here. That the world is back to normal and my family might not be dead. That there's still electronics that work and YouTube. Even that Freddy is just my friend. I would give everything up for her to be back and alright. But the world will never be the same.
The air turned poisonous, killing people. There probably aren't many survivors out there and were super lucky that were all here and alright. Except for Autumn. I just can't wait for tomorrow when we get to save her. Hang on Autumn, I'm coming to save you.

A. N. Hello everybody! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, school is coming to an end soon so I will be able to update more! Of course it means that all of my teachers are cramming more and more lessons and homework and tests in, but there's only a week left!
