Nikki's POV
     I can't let them know.. My power is too powerful for them to know about. I am a shapeshifter. And when Louis said his dog died of a poisonous snake bite, well, that was me.
The first time I shifted, weeks before the apocalypse started. I didn't know what to do, being a snake and all, so when I saw a dog coming at me, which is pretty big being the size of a snake, I did what my instincts told me.
So now that I've been flirting with him, it's only to make up for killing his dog, it's to offer him some comfort, but he seems to think differently. And now that I've started flirting with him, I think that I've fallen for him. So that night during truth or dare I made myself look like Autumn, well, at least to Louis. Autumn seemed to see the real me, maybe my power doesn't work on her with her reading minds and everything.
So I now cannot let them know or I think they will punish me, cast me off in Pondwood or some other place where I will be all alone.  So now all I can do is wait...
                  Unidentified POV
I've been wondering around Pondwood since everyone has died, well, except me. I'm alive, and I think that there may be some other people who survived.
Flashback:
I was falling, falling into the fence. Damian looked at me helplessly, unable to do a thing. And then my head hit the wood very hard. Damian was talking to me but I couldn't understand. My mom and grandmother come into view also but I still don't understand. I can't hear them. They seemed more worried about me then grandpa who has just died. It's sad to think about.
An ambulance pulls up to the driveway and 2 women with a gurney place me upon it and wheel me into the ambulance. My family follows, and the ambulance gets cramped.
They place a mask over my face so I can breathe, and so I do but suddenly it looks like everyone else can't. They all stop breathing, and one by one their bodies disintegrate to the ground.
I am about to take off my mask but then I stop, worrying that what happened to them may happen to me. I feel an impact, so strong that I can feel my head vibrating. And everything goes back to normal.
I can hear the screams of people around me, outside and now through the doors I have opened I can see everyone disintegrating too, just like my family and those nurses.
A stray tear slips down my cheek, pitying what is happening to the people, and remembering my family.
     The next few days I do not take off my mask for fear that I will die. But that also meant that I hadn't drank or ate for days. When I was coming close to death, I though about it and realized that if I didn't drink or eat I was going to die and my oxygen supply was almost all gone.
     So I took off the mask. And I was alright. I quickly ran back into my grandmother's house, got a drink, and ate. I was still fine after that so I decided to take a nap.
     The next day I decided to set out to look for supplies and useful items.
     That's how I got to where I am today, which is the Pondwood Central Plaza. That's where some of my friends and I used to visit when we were younger, there was a big festival every year on the Fourth of July. But they're probably gone now.
     I think I've gone a little crazy since the accidents, my head being injured twice. I now relive the disintegration of everyone I ever knew at random times, like when I decided to go to the Walmart, I relived my mother disintegrate and when I was at the mall, my friends.
     Anyway, I now head toward the middle of the plaza, where I used to dance with my friends. But I see something appear out of the corner of my eye.
    I turn around and freeze, my sight frozen on the people standing there, my breath caught in my throat.
     "Sasha?" asks a tall boy with brown hair.
     "Russ!!!" I yell, running towards him. There couldn't have been anything better then this.
Russ' POV
     I see Sasha running at me, her arms wide, her curly blonde hair blowing out behind her. When she finally reaches me, I hug her. I don't think that I'll ever let go. Eventually I do. But instead of backing away, I kiss her full on the lips.
     She instantly pulls me closer to her. I've wanted to kiss her forever, since I was a little kid. And I've wanted her to be my girlfriend since 5th grade. Of course, her parents wouldn't allow her to date until she was 14, but even after, we didn't get together. I guess we were both just too shy to ask each other. But now, now everything is alright again in my life. Now I can finally be happy.
     I know all of my friends have turned away, knowing that we deserve this moment to be our special moment, together again at last.
     When we finally pull away, I grab her shoulders, making her look at me.
     "Please don't ever leave me again Sash, I don't think that I can handle it," I say
    "As long as you promise the same thing, although I do have a few things to tell you," she says.
      "I promise, no matter what never to leave you ever, ever again as long as I have the power."
    "I do too. But I've gone a little bit crazy, not kidding. Sometimes I have random mental breakdowns where I see my family and everyone else die and disintegrate before my eyes. That's kind of what happened when this thing started,"
     "How did you survive?"
     "Well, my cousin got mad so he pushed me and then my head hit a fence. I couldn't hear for a little bit, and my family called the ambulance. And by the way, my grandfather died. That's why my cousin was mad. So I got into the ambulance and they put a breathing mask on me but then everyone else couldn't breathe and they disintegrated into nothing. So that's the story although after I wouldn't like to share some of those details of what happened."
     "Well we were at the field trip that you were missing and Autumn called us all to the wall where she was standing and then this scary countdown thing started, so she opened a door and we all went in although Marie and Caitie were in the bathroom so we couldn't help them so we went in and we were safe. There's much more that you've missed, actually there's a lot. But I'll explain it all later. For now, I'm glad I have you back,"
     "Me too,"
     We walk back to join everyone else in their group, hand in hand, never leaving each other again.
