Update: Border Strength/Reclaiming
Hi all! After the recent zombie attack, I'd like to make a few small updates to the current attack system.
Border: #/##
# = border strength
## = border capacity
1) Ranged weapons will be fired 1-5 times per /defend
2) Every 10 border strength increases the damage dealt by the defender by 1. For example, 25 border strength = +2 damage, 32 border strength = +3 damage...
3) Fists do 0 damage.
4) Existing barriers can now be reinforced by using /reinforce barrier which will take 3 energy and 10 materials. Reinforced barriers provide +2 border capacity over the normal barriers, but do not increase the capacity for new buildings.
5) There is a 10% chance that friendly gangs will help the group in the event of an attack. If they do, then the attacking party's health will be decreased by 10.
6) Apartment buildings will be possible to find which will increase population capacity by 50! They require 20 space and are a risky investment. If the group loses to a zombie horde, there is a chance that this building could be lost which would be a disastrous blow to the population capacity. Apartment buildings will have a threat of 2+ the current threat level when clearing the building of zombies, due to the population density.
8) Reclaiming does not require any energy or materials. A building can only be reclaimed if there is enough space/building capacity in the base from barriers.
9) Scavenging hospitals will have a threat of 2+ the current threat level. Refer to the injury table for future missions. The fighting column on the left refers to the cumulative task group fighting skill. The table shows the percent chance of the task group getting injured.
