Narrator POV

A fight when Inglis or Y/N were involved was nothing to ignore, as their feat could impress even the strongest

But when they are fighting each other, even gods could be impressed by it, don't you think so?

Inside a barrier, a different dimension based on Y/N's magic, happened a fight.....

Inglis slided back a few feet away from her position, her arms raised in a blocking manner

Y/N came rushing after her, instantly attacking her with a spin kick

She dodged, before going for his gut with a mighty counter, but it was blocked by Y/N's arm

He was pushed back, as he gained his footing back, and instantly countered Chris incomming kick with his own

Their kick each connected on the other cheek, as a sudden burst of wind from the impact pushed them away, crashing on either a wall, or a tree

They wiped their mouth, smirking widely, going back at it again

Y/N sent a punch that Chris dodged, before kneeing his chin

He fell backwards, before using the ground as a support with his hand, and kick the leg of Chris, making her lose her footing

She catched herself, jumping away from Y/N, landed on her hand, and did another jump, to avoid a punch from Y/N

She jumped, before hammer slam Y/N on the head, and went for a kick to his chin

He dodged, before grabbing her leg, and slam her back to the ground

Going for a stomp, Chris barely dodged, standing back up

She ducked down, avoiding another kick from Y/N, and kick his leg, making him lose his footing

While they were falling, they smirked at each other

Chris: Not bad Y/N!

Y/N: I'm just getting started!

They clashed fist, sending each other flying away

Setting back on the ground, Chris didn't lost time, and charged at Y/N

He instantly countered with a right punch, before going back at her, clenching his left fist

She countered too with a left punch, making Y/N recoil back

He went for a right kick, that she blocked with her forearm, and instantly blocked the other kick with her other forearm

She went for a punch, but Y/N catched it, and freed her fist with a kick, that Y/N had to block

They keep clashing and clashing, until the ground below them shattered due to their powerful hits

They stood on top of a rock each, staring at each other

They were bleeding from their mouth and nose, but still kept their smirk on their face

Y/N: So far, you're the toughest person here I had to fight, Chris

Chris: Oh? So you're saying there is an oppenent who put you more in difficulty than me?

Y/N: Yes, but by how it's going, you're going to be the first one!

He took his stance again, ready

Chris: I will also be the first one to defeat you!

She took her stance too, smirking

Y/N appeard above her, going for a punch

She dodged, and elbowed him toward the ground, making him crash face first

Spinning in mid air, she went for a knee strike, but Y/N wasn't here anymore

Before she could even look around, a punch to her cheeks took her by surprise, sending her crashing on a rock

He channeled his magic in his left hand, sending a beam at Chris, who dodged it

The explosion made a cloud of dust, as Y/N charged forward

Y/N: You're done for!

He stopped in his charge when he saw she wasn't here anymore

???: Not bad Y/N!

He looked back, and saw Chris, her arms crossed, smiling

Chris: I'm starting to get fired up

Y/N: Heh, you better be!

He sent a punch forward, sending an compressed-air strike, that Chris dodged

The scene behind her got destroyed, but she didn't had time to care, as Y/N jumped, and charged at her with a punch

She blocked it with her forearms, but they still crashed in the middle of a forest

Rushing between the trees, Chris clashed with Y/N, before punching his cheek

He went for an uppercut that she dodged, but it was a bait as he spin kick her gut

He sent another compressed-air strike in a slashing movement, that she dodged

Going after her with a punch, she dodged, before grabbing the back of his head, and slammed it on the ground

She stood on top of him, still holding his face

Chris: What's wrong?! Is that all you can do?!

Y/N: Don't get too.........

With a burst of magical energy, he pushed her back

Y/N: COCKY!

They clashed fist, creating a shockwave

They both used their magic, pushing with all their might

An explosion happened, creating a cloud of dust on the battlefield, and at the sme time, weakening the barrier of Y/N

When the cloud of dust went off, Chris was on her knee, breathing heavily, badly injured

Chris: He...... really is no joke..... if I didn't protected myself in time........

A shadow zoomed over her, as she looked up, and see Y/N, standing, badly injured too, his clothes torned

The barrier was now off, as every student in the school were watching

When they saw the scene, they instantly thought that Y/N won

Chris: Not...... yet! I can still fight! I'll be the winner!

She got up, ready to fight more

Her eyes showed determination that Y/N never saw before, as he closed his eyes

Y/N: I guess.... you can look in the future after all.....

She looked confused, before she saw Y/N slowly falling backwards, as her eyes widden

With one sound, Y/N fell on his back, answering the question of everyone

The winner of this fight, was Inglis Eucus

Chris looked at Y/N, breathing heavily, bleeding, before she looked around

Suddendly, a roar of cheers started, as all the students around cheered for her

Rani ruhed to them, Leone and Liselotte too

Leone: This fight was incredible!

Liselotte: I can't believe I could watch such a fight happening!

Miliera: Let's get you two patched up! You fought well!

As they were taken away, Chris had distant look

Timeskip - Y/N POV

I slowly opened my eyes, sitting up, my body aching

Y/N: Ow.....

???: You shouldn't move Y/N, you're still recovering

I looked at the voice and see Liselotte at my side

The other side was Chris's nurse bed, Rani and Leone at her side

Y/N: Damn.... That was one hell of a fight to be honest

Rani: Yes! But in the end, it's Chris who won the fight!

Leone: I never thought that at first, but it seems she is the strongest after all

Chris: .........

Y/N: Congrats Chris, you managed to beat m-

Chris: Even if I won....... I...... don't feel as happy as I thought I would be.......

Everyone grew silent, as she went on

Chris: I always had this image of Y/N being the unbeatable fighter, as no one could ever beat him, ever.....

She clenched her fist, looking at it

Chris: Even if I wanted to surpass you, Y/N..... A part of me didn't wanted you to lose, and stay this unbeatable warrior I looked up to

Y/N: .......

Rani: I do too..... It feels weird to know that Y/N, the strongest person I know, lost.........

Leone: It...... does feel a bit sad in a way

Liselotte: Indeed.... I feel kind of lost now......

Y/N: Zamn, I'm this popular in term of strengh?

Chris: It was a great fight Y/N, thank you, for giving it to me

Should I tell her I was weakened during the fight because of the clones and the barrier?

Nah, she seems happy, not gonna spoil it to her

Y/N: Anyway..... I guess I jut lay back on the bed, and rest until I recovered

Rani: We leave you two be, rest well

Liselotte gived me a hug, Leone too, and Rani  gave me the biggest one

I was now alone with Chris, as we stayed silent

Chris: Please don't joke right now....... I wanted to ask you something

Y/N: Go ahead

Chris: How was it, back in your world?

Y/N: Boring, I had no equals, everyone lost to me

Chris: Even the most dangerous ones?

Y/N: I wasn't called the staring contest king for nothing

Chris: Such a silly name, it does fit you after all

Y/N: Fuck you too

She giggled, before closing her eyes, and smiled

Chris: I'll go to sleep first

Y/N: Sure

Chris: One last thing, Y/N

Y/N: Hmm?

I looked at her, and see her with a gentle and caring smile

Chris: Thank you for being in my life...... I love you

My eyes widened, as she drifted off to sleep instantly after

I realized, before letting a small chuckle, and close my eyes too

Y/N: Heh...... I guess I can work this way out too....... I love you too

I drifted off to sleep, content
