The goddess served them tea and brought a tray of snacks. What surprised the three was how the tea was served from the same teapot, but each cup was a different blend according to their preferences.

It must be the power of a goddess!

"I am so sorry; you three had to experience such a cruel fate." The goddess started, and they each picked a snack from the tray and took a bite. The snacks tasted heavenly, and they were seriously enjoying their tea time.

"But, I need your help."

"Why? Aren't you a goddess?" Victoria asked her, "If you wanted to do something, you could." Eliza smacked Victoria for her impulsive speech. Victoria glared at her and rubbed the back of her stinging head.

But the goddess did not feel offended by Victoria's words. She instead answered her question.

"Gods are not supposed to interfere with mortal lives. That's why I need your help. You see, in the beginning, the queen of the gods and I stripped another god of his title after he continuously caused problems among us. So he became a degenerate." They listened to her, giving her their undivided attention while still eating her snacks.

"Now he is a malicious spirit that thirsts for chaos and destruction. He has toyed with the minds of the ignorant mortals of Veridian, and now he's on a quest to become a fallen god. The advantage he has now is that he's no longer a god and can associate with mortals. The immortal rule is no longer binding him."

"That's so terrible." Amelia munched on a biscuit. "Pardon me, your Highness, but how are we to help, and why did you choose us?"

The goddess smiled fondly at them. "Because I heard your prayers."

"Our prayers?"

"Before you died, you three prayed for a way to get justice for yourselves. I can do that for you! I will send your souls back in time and in return; you will help me."

"But heaven is nice; I can't die here!" Amelia quickly added that she felt uncomfortable about going back to meet Madeline and that idiot she was once engaged to.

She trembled in her seat, and the two women exchanged glances, feeling bad for Amelia. Their experiences together caused them to establish a bond. The goddess noticed this and feels happy and relieved that she chose the right people.

"Amelia!" Eliza called her, "Don't worry about them again. Since we now have knowledge of the future, we can avoid such a fate."

"Meaning you can now get revenge on your wh*re of a sister!" Victoria added, smiling evilly. Amelia thought about what they told her and decided that she wanted to make her sister pay for what she did. She wasn't going to be a naive and ignorant lady anymore.

Amelia's eyes flashed with determination. "I will have justice!" The goddess found her resolved adorable; she chuckled silently. It seemed like Amelia had successfully charmed a goddess.

The goddess made three emblems and gave them to each of them. "With these, you will be able to find each other, and I will be able to grant you my blessings. Now go; I will be watching you!" She waved her hand in front of them as they fell back into deep slumber.

4 months back~

Amelia jolted up from her sleep. She looked around her room and subconsciously held her neck. She felt she had had a long dream and couldn't remember anything about it. She felt a weird, tingling feeling around her neck.

"Lady Amelia good morn... Huh! You are awake already." Emma entered Amelia's room. Amelia nodded.

"Let me go arrange a bath then! Your fiance is coming today to pick you up for your date, so you have to be extra pretty today!" Emma went out of Amelia's room.

"My fiancé is coming? Why does it feel familiar?" Amelia thought to herself.

After she had her bath, Amelia picked a simple gown to wear and rejected her accessories, which shocked Emma. Amelia was the kind of person who loved it when she was complimented for her beauty, so she loved to accentuate her beauty by being glamorous in her dressing.

But now she doesn't even want to do her hair, not even in a simple bun. Emma felt sad because she loved dressing up Amelia so much that it became a hobby for her.

Amelia wore a simple baby blue, long-sleeved gown under her blue fur coat with matching mittens and a trapper hat. Even though Amelia didn't use a lot of accessories, she still looked like an angel, which satisfied Emma.

Amelia went downstairs for breakfast and met Madeline downstairs already. Amelia joined her at the table. The servants served them their food and left. Amelia felt apprehensive when they served her food; she automatically looked at Madeline, who had already started eating.

'Why do I feel this way?' Amelia continued to stare at her plate. Madeline looked at her and asked

"What's wrong?"

"I have lost my appetite." Amelia stood and left the dining room, leaving Madeline in a confused state. Amelia went outside the mansion, and a world coated with snow filled her vision. She started to walk around the garden.

"Amelia!" Madeline called to her, "Are you out of your mind?" She looked back at Madeline, clutching her coat as she ran towards her, panting.

"Yes?" She turned to Madeline.

"You skipped breakfast, and now you are outside in the cold. What's wrong with  you?"Madeline frowned at her. Amelia kept quiet, feeling strange due to Madeline's presence.

Madeline takes her hand and drags her inside the mansion. When they entered, Amelia took back her hand from Madeline.

"I am fine!" Amelia slowly held the hand Madeline once took. Madeline clicked her tongue and spoke.

"What's wrong with you? You are acting like you are possessed or something! Why would you skip breakfast? If you act like this, people will think that you are a spoilt princess, which everyone just has to deal with. What of those servants whose efforts were wasted in making your breakfast? How would they feel when they recorded that waste? Does it look well to you?"

Amelia felt annoyed with the way her sister spoke to her. Normally, it looked like Madeline cared for her sister, but to Amelia, it felt like she was purposely embarrassing her. This is the way you would speak to a child who committed wrongdoing; Amelia was older than her. She even did it downstairs in front of passing servants.

"Do not speak to me in that manner again!" Amelia said sternly, "What if the food wasn't to my taste? Does that give you the right to speak to me in that manner?" Madeline was shocked by Amelia's retort. She didn't expect this answer from her.

"What's happening?" Christopher came towards them with concern written on his face. Amelia felt disgusted with his appearance; she didn't understand why.

'Maybe it's because I am engaged to failure.' Amelia concluded within her. Everyone who knew about Christopher Wallace knew that he was the last son and child of the Viscount Wallace. Since he was the last child, he was pampered greatly by his mother, who wasn't hasty to let him grow up, making him neglect his duties and resulting in him being mediocre compared to his elder brothers.

In short, he was what you would call a mama's boy.

"Christopher!" Madeline called to him in a manner that made Amelia sick to her stomach: "I was just telling Amelia about how she wasted food this morning, and she told me that it was because it wasn't to her liking."

Madeline blabbed everything to Christopher, already knowing he would back her up and shame Amelia.

"You should know the kind of person your sister is. She only likes the best for herself, so of course the breakfast might not be to her liking. Maybe the servants should ask what she would like to eat each time they cook, to prevent such from happening again!" Christopher said, "Amelia, the servants already do so much for you. You have to ease their stress sometimes."

Amelia felt enraged. It was like the two of them teamed up to tear her down. Madeline felt satisfied with Amelia's expression, thinking Amelia would back down and apologize for being a bratty princess.

"Madeline!" Amelia called to her, "How quick is it for you to narrate all that transpired between us, sisters, to an outsider? It doesn't tell well! People will assume you have a lousy  mouth."Amelia spoke to Madeline in the same manner that Madeline spoke to her.

"And you, Christopher!" She turned to Christopher and said, "Situations like this are none of your business! Even though we are engaged, please refrain from interfering in matters like this, even when you enter my house."Amelia smirked at him. Establishing the fact that he is insignificant and has no right to judge or interfere in her matters, and that marrying him would not make it any different.

Madeline was shocked and confused. It was like her sister was an entirely different person. Christopher was furious that Amelia could have the guts to mock him. She is truly vain and conceited.

"I am going out, but without you." Amelia pointed at Christopher. She walked past them and went outside. Emma, her personal maid, followed her hurriedly.

"My lady, that was amazing!" Emma punched the air. "You were so strict! It was so cool, I thought they were going to bully my lady again like they always do!" Amelia was shocked by Emma's excitement. She reminded Amelia of a child talking about her favorite hero. Amelia smiled, feeling proud of herself.

"Thank you, Emma! But..." She smiled at Emma and came closer to her.

"Can you keep an eye on those two while I am out?" Amelia whispered into Emma's ears. Emma blinked a few times, wondering why Amelia would ever have such a thought in the first place. Has she finally noticed that her sister doesn't like her?

Emma nodded in determination and dashed into the mansion. Amelia smiled at her retreating figure.

"Let's go out and eat something that doesn't look ominous!" Amelia patted her tummy as she felt hungry.

Victoria woke up to her butler opening her curtains.

"Young master, finally you woke up without me having to splash you with water." Alfred spoke with a distinguished accent and left the room for Victoria to dress up.

"What did I dream about?" Victoria said to herself, touching her neck subconsciously. Something important happened in her dream, but Victoria had forgotten all about it. She got out of bed and went to freshen up.

After her early morning rituals, she opened her wardrobe to select what attire she would wear for the day. Different attire, ranging from suits to dress shirts and pants, filled her wardrobe, which was unlikely for a woman.

People would assume that it's because of Victoria's personality that she favors male clothes. It's actually deeper than that. Since Victoria's mother died without producing an heir (son) for her father, He raised Victoria as a boy so as to prevent his immediate family members from taking over his business.

So in her father's eyes, Victoria lost her identity as a girl and became a lowly male, and with the necessary training, she could become the perfect son he never had.

Victoria's father ran a luxury hotel business, which was very popular and produced a lot of wealth for her family. The hotel had several branches all over, which Victoria was now overseeing as her father's deputy.

Victoria wore a brown suit, draped a coat over her shoulders, and strode out of her room briskly. Victoria quickly ate her breakfast and moved out of her house to the hotel.

"Good morning, young Master Blackwood!" The employees at the hotel lined up at the entrance of the hotel to greet her. The general manager approached her.

"Master Blackwood, we have a lot of reports for you to review this morning!" He said to her: She nodded and walked to her office, with the general manager behind her.

The manager dropped a lot of files on her table. But she noticed the one on top.

"The Blackwood's Hotel annual Winter Lu'minara gala." Victoria read aloud and felt a sudden familiarity.

'I feel like I have experienced this before.' She thought as she traced her hand across the file jacket.

"Yes ma'am! Your father organized this gala to get more investors and sponsors. A few companies already showed their interest in the Blackwood hotel, so they would show up at the gala. This Lu'minara expects you to be a good host to them.

"Well, he expects me to be a lot of things" Victoria mumbled. She picked up the file and flipped through it.

"I have the budget for this month for you to review and the list of invited guests."

Victoria came across the guest list and started reading through it until she came across a familiar name.

"The Hawthorne Dukedom?"
