The chimes rang throughout the building.
6:00 AM. It was finally 6:00 AM.
As the animatronics went back to their places, Mike ran out of his office and toward the front doors of the pizzeria.
He pushed open the doors and stepped out of the pizzeria.
He jerked his phone out of his pocket and dialed Chelsea's number.
The phone rang a moment, then went to her voicemail.
He growled in frustration and hung up, not bothering to leave a message.
He dialed Melody's number.
The phone rang. Melody picked up.
"Hello?"
"Melody, where's Chelsea?"
"I dunno. You tried calling her yet?"
"Yeah, but she won't pick up..."
Mike heard a knock on the door in the background of the call.
"...Uh Mike I gotta go... See ya later... I hope..." She whispered into the phone and then hung up.
Mike grumbled and then climbed into his car.

Mike pulled into his parking lot. Melody's car wasn't in the parking lot, which he didn't pay much attention to. He got out of his car and walked up to his door. He turned the doorknob and walked in.
"Hello?" He called into the seemingly empty house.
No response.
He shrugged and sat down on the couch. He picked up the remote and turned the TV on, and then flickered through the channels.
Nothing good was on, so he simply flickered to the news.
Ignoring the what the reporter on the news channel was saying, he tried to call Chelsea again.
She picked up.
"Chelsea-"
"Mike, it really isn't the best time r-right n-now..."
"Er, okay...?"
"I-I'll talk to you later... I-I promise..." She whispered, then hung up.
Mike sighed and flopped back in his chair. He stared up at the ceiling.
He heard the door open. Melody walked in. She saw him on the couch.
"Oh... Er.. hi, Mike..."
"Uh, hi....?"
There was an awkward silence.
"Where did you go?"
"None of your business."
Mike sighed.
"Melody, please-"
"You know too much as it is, Mike..."
Mike growled in frustration. "Melody, I got a job at a haunted pizzeria, my mom barely talks to me, not to mention she completely abandoned me for years, and now you're keeping secrets from me!" He snapped.
Melody flinched. "Chelsea abandoned you because she thought she wasn't right in the head, Mike. An-and she isn't..."
"Are you saying my mother's insane?!"
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying, Mike! I didn't think she was at first, but then that happened last night-" Melody stopped there, gasping and throwing her hand over her mouth. She'd said too much.
"Melody, what happened last night..."
Melody backed away. "Uh... I... I, uh, gotta go now... Uh, bye..!" She turned and ran for the door. But Mike grabbed her arm.
"Let go of me!" She growled.
"Melody, please, just tell me what happened-"
"No!" She snapped, then jerked away from Mike, threw open the door, and ran out.
Mike sighed and leaned up against the wall.
