I am soooo sorry for the long hiatus!!!I changed schools a while back so I've been trying to adapt to it and now I'm a senior so I'm going to be busy. My goal it's to at least give some type of update every once in a while for you guys, so sorry.

A relief smile crept up to my lips as I felt a tear slip down.

Today was the day to go and enter the Chunnin exams. I've never felt so nervous before. Just thinking of all the money I will be making soon to help Mama financially. I could even use it for all those medical bills we still need to pay. It's so expensive for those pills.

I took a deep breath and step out of my house. Mama is working today, and I believe I already took my pill, got an extra one in my pouch just in case. As I walk down the sidewalk, I noticed a three familiar figure by the school building.

"Oh, hey Rena! You showed up!" Naruto laughed as he eagerly waved at me.

I slightly waved back again. "Y-yes, good morning." I gave a small smile, even though they can't see it.

We started to walk inside the building, only to see a large crowd. We pass by them and checked out the commotion. By the looks of it, two guys were beating up these two genins, a girl and a boy. My nose tingled a bit and I looked towards the two who were roughing the genin up.

Their chakra feels... Familiar.

I looked up at the room number, only to confuse myself more. It read 301, but we only climbed up the stairs to the second floor. I looked over to Sasuke, about to speak up, only to be stopped with a shake of his head and a glance towards Sakura. I squint my eyes in confusion, only to get what he meant by it. Sakura's confidence is really low because of the chunnin exams, this can help her feel better and not chicken out. I looked forward and walked with my teammates in front of the two guys.

"Real nice speech. Now both of you step aside and let me through." Sasuke walked up to them closer, "while you're at it, reverse the genjutsu. We can see through your illusion anyway, we're going to the third floor."

I mentally sighed, Mr. cool is at it again...

"So, you notice the genjutsu, huh?" Spoke the boy with the bandana on. I swear, I feel like I should know who they are! Sasuke then started to talk again.

"Go ahead Sakura, tell them. I'm sure you saw it before anyone else did."

Ah, I see what you are doing Sasuke.

Sakura could only respond with a 'huh' 'till she finally agrees to it and said that we were on the second floor. I nodded along with Naruto, who spoke up for the both of us with a 'right'. They took off the genjutsu and the boy with bandages across his face scoff.

"Well, aren't we the smart ones? So you noticed an illusion. Now, let's see you deal with this!" He yelled, going in for a kick at Sasuke. Sasuke only did what was natural, he chose fight instead of flight.

Out of thin air, that kid that those two boys were picking on stopped their attacks in a flash. I had to take a double take on how fast that was. I can't react that fast, I bet even Sasuke can't either! Now that I look closely at the guy, he looks... not so... cute? Handsome maybe? Who still rocks the bowl cut these days? And what's with the green jumpsuit? I mean, it's better than Naruto's flashy orange, but it's just... strange?

A boy that looked similar to Hinata and the girl that was earlier getting bullied walked up to the guy in the green jumpsuit.

"Hey, what happened to the plan? I thought you were the one who said to keep a low profile and don't let anyone see our skill level" He scoff at the boy.

" I know, but—" Answer green jumpsuit to the Hinata look-alike.

I couldn't help but think, didn't he get bruised by those two bullies over there? Was it all an act??

Suddenly, he started to walk towards us, stopping in front of Sakura.

"My name is Rock Lee. You are Sakura, right?" He asked.

Where is he going with this?

"Please be my girlfriend. I've vow to protect you with my life." He said with a smile and a thumbs up.

"Definitely— not." Sakura answer and it took me all my strength not to snort at her answer.

My body was trembling with laughter once I saw Rock Lee's reaction to her answer. Oh god, this is just so interesting to watch.

"Why?"

"Because you're a weirdo." Sakura responded, this time I let out a small snort and I could tell Naruto heard it when he started to laugh.

"Hey you, over there. What's your name?" Asked the long haired boy.

Sasuke turned around and stared at him. I could only sigh. What's with people with knowing his name?

"It's common courtesy to give your own name before asking someone else's." Respond Sasuke.

"Hey, you're a rookie, aren't you? How old are you, anyway?"

"I'm not obliged to answer."

"What's that?" The long haired boy was starting to sound aggravated.

Sasuke turned around and walked towards me and Sakura as Naruto sulked with Rock Lee against the wall.

"Hey, Naruto, Sasuke, Rena. Lets go." Spoke Sakura as she grab hold of our hands and started to lead us out of the second floor. I was glad of getting out of that disaster.

Walking up the stairs, all I could think of was that long haired boy. Was was his chakra so familiar and why does he remind me so much of Hinata?

I guess I'll find out soon at the exams...

To make up for it, y'all can get these cute pictures of my dogs(yes, dogs cause we now have a new member to the family! Had her since she was 5 days old. She's such a big girl now, I want to say she's 8 months now. Her name is Luna.).
