Recap:

"Let's go home." Don't need to tell me twice. I walked behind Kakashi sensei with the rest of the team. Hmmm, I feel like we're missing something right now...

I stood on a branch, hidden behind its leaves. Today is a nice warm day now that I look around here.

"Sasuke here at point B." Sasuke spoke through the headset that we have.

"Sakura here at Point C."

"Rena. Point D"

"Naruto here. I'm at Point A, believe it!" He almost yelled in my ear.

"You're slow Naruto." Complained Kakashi sensei. "Okay, Squad Seventh... Hm!?" A rustling has disrupted his talking. "Target is on the move! Follow it!" He yelled out. I stayed up in my position, Sakura and Sasuke a few meters away from the target as they hid behind a tree. Naruto was next to me on the tree, making us get a clear view of the target.

"Alright, it's over there!" He exclaimed beside me.

We both leaped down with the others to get a closer to the target. We were peeking around our trees, staring at our targets location. "What's your distance from the target?" Asked Kakashi sensei.

I'm going to be honest now, I was never good at math.

"Five meters! I'm ready, just give the signal!" Naruto complains. Oh, how far is five meter and how many inches are in a meter? Wait, is it inches in a meter?

"I'm ready too." Sasuke said cooly. How can he say that all cool like?

"So am I." You should know which girl said this. I stayed silent with a small grunt as my response. "Okay... Now!" Yelled Kakashi sensei.

They all nodded and leaped for him. I walked up to it like a normal person.

"I got him, I got him!" Yelled Naruto as he grabbed the cat. The cat started to yowl and scratch him. Oh, that's not good at all. I walked up to Naruto, trying to separate the cat from him. Sakura just stood beside me with a smile as she coo'ed at the cat.

"Can't we get a better mission than this? I HATE CATS!!" Naruto yelled making me throw my headset at him and crouch down holding my ear, that really hurt.

"No treatment from me..." I mumbled as I kept rubbing my injured ear.

———— Timeskip ————

"Oh, my poor little Torah. Mommy was so worried about her naughty little fuzzykins, yes." The fat, oh sorry, that's rude of me. The overweight lady coo'ed as she rubbed her chubby cheeks against the crying cat. I know, how can cats just anime cry like that!

Naruto laughed at the misery of the poor cat. "Stupid cat. That kitty deserves to be squashed." He kept laughing as Sakura sighed. "No wonder he ran away." I had to agree with her, the poor thing being treated like that. I looked over to Naruto, making sure the scratches are healed. That's weird, it looks like he had no sign that he had been scratched. I didn't use my medical jutsu on him either...

We stood in front of the Hokage's desk as he held a piece of paper in front of him. "Now, then, for squad seven's next mission, we have several available tasks." He spoke. I just want the money right now...

"Among them, babysitting the chief counselor's three-year-old, helping his wife to do the shopping, digging up potatoes, and—" He soon cut off by Naruto's yelling.

"No! I want to go on a real mission," He had both his arms crossed in an "X" across his chest, "something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff! Come on, old man!" Well, the blonde does have a point. These missions he gives us are too easy and more of the jobs I usually do. I get pay extra for doing them of course, I'm not doing that for free.

Two hands slam the desk, an angry Iruka sensei was there. How did I not notice him? "How dare you? You're just a brand new Genin with no experience. Like everyone else you start with simple missions—" I stopped listening to him after that.

I was just like Shikamaru, I would take a nap sometimes with him when his lectures got boring. Naruto was, for some reason, hit on the head by our sensei.

"Will you put a lid on it?" Kakashi sensei asked. I stifle a laugh at this. People getting hurt are very funny, we can agree on that, right?

Gramps then started to talk(or was it a lecture?), we all basically ignore him. We were mostly more interested in what ramen Naruto was going to eat today. I want my money right now though.

"Silence!" Yelled out gramps. Oops.

Kakashi sensei rub the back of his neck as he apologized. Naruto then started to complain, once again. No surprise there, every time we went to get another mission. I just want to be paid.

"Since you are so determined, I'm going to give you a C-ranked mission. You'll be bodyguards on a journey." Wait, no way he's really doing that!

"Really? Yes!" Yelled Naruto.

I can't believe this, his ranting finally worked on him. "Don't be so impatient. I'm going to bring him in now. Send in our visitor." We looked behind us, waiting for the person to enter. Kami-sama, please let this person be easy to handle. We already have Naruto to take care of.

"What the? A bunch of little snot-nosed kids?" An old man spoke as he went to take a sip(more like a gulp) of his drink. "And you, the little one with the idiotic look on your face. You really expect me to believe you're a ninja?" Oh no, we have a drunk in our hands. Naruto laughed and asked who was the old man talking about. We all lined up beside him, Sasuke and I being the same height. Sakura being, I guess what you could say second? I don't have a good feeling about this...

"I'LL DEMOLISH YOU!" Yelled out Naruto in anger as Kakashi sensei held him back by his collar.
