Chapter 2

~*(Deva's pov.)*~

"Thank you~! Make sure to enjoy the treats~!"

"Oh! I will Deva and thank you for the treats~!

"No problem, madam!"

Smiling lightly as I watched the orphanage director go outside the door with the rest of the sweets and bread that a I made for the day. Huffing in a sighing manner I turned to look inside my café/bakery. The floors were wooden but shined to where it felt like tile, the walls covered in a warm green that had plants hanging over the walls and corners of the café. Tables and chairs appear randomly over the place with little bonsai in the middle.

As I cleaned over the place I couldn't help but remember when I opened the place. It took about three days till someone visited and I enjoyed there expression when they eat my world's cooking. Seeing their delight was something to see. Infact, they became a regular. There name was Susie Lane, a human. She had a very gentle SOUL from what I could feel.

As I reached the counter where my display for the confections did I hear the door open and the bell ring. Sighing mentally as I knew that I forgot to flip the sign to close I turn to stop in my tracks. Blinking in confusion as I looked at the skeleton.

His outfit was colorful along with what I knew was a skateboard. I saw no indication for the Sun nor Moon Kingdom so I knew he was a neutral. But something about him just tickled my memory, like I knew him for some reason. Ignoring my memory problems for now I approached him as he looked at the little bonsai with what looks like a confused look. Like he doesn't know what a bonsai is.

As I tapped his shoulders he shot up with his sunglasses making exclamation points on the glasses. As he turned towards me he tipped over and I grabbed him with ease as I righted him. As I dusted him off he looked like he hasn't seen another skeleton as he was still looking at me with a blank gaze but his glasses gave him away as they had question marks.

"Hello, Welcome to Simple Life, how may I help you?"

That seemed to jolt him as the expression on his glasses changed back to exclamation points.

"Ah, I was wondering where some people can hold a meeting for several high class people? Well, some people I know are high class and they want to hold a meeting where they can talk in peace."

"I see."

I put my phalanges to my chin and thought about it.

There was not a lot of places that was high class, and the town meeting hall was not good as everyone visits that place. The only place I really know is the second floor of my café. That place was for the people who really wanted privacy and I provide. I snap my fingers as I gestured for the other skeleton to follow me.

As we walked up to the room that I allow certain people in do I walk in with the colorful skeleton.

As I looked around the room to make sure that everything was in place I could feel the shock and awe that the person has. When I was finished I turned to him to find that he was busy gaping at the place with his glasses blank except for one thing spelled out, 'CO OL'.

Lightly chuckling did that snap him out of his stupor as he coughed for a moment.

"Will this place do? This is the only place I can think of for a meeting as the walls are soundproof for the effect of not noise getting in or out. The reason for that is because I have customers that are sensitive to noise. I could book you guys to come in next week so I can prepare some food for you, is that all right?"

He nodded really fast as he got out a notebook and wrote down the date for when they would come in. As I looked at the date I nodded as I was never busy on that day and I could use less sleep as I have a feeling I have to make lots of food for an army.

As I put the paper in my pocket did I finally ask for the skeletons name.

"Oh, how rude of me, I'm Deva, owner of this café, what's your name?"

"Fresh, my broski."

Nodding I lead him out as I closed down the shop. He walked away to somewhere so I ignored him as I went home.

*~(Third person's pov.)*~

Fresh was walking to an inn that housed the King and his entourage. As he knocked on the door did he hear shouts and yells. Shrugging at the probably chaos inside did he open the door to see that some were shouting at others.

The King was covered in goop as he busied himself with reading, ignoring the chaos around him. This was Nightmare.

His second in command, Error, was looking at the yelling and shouting group with annoyance but ultimately sat out of it. For now.

Cross was yelling at Fell for stealing his chocolate along with Fell just getting ready to punch him.

Both Dust and Horror were placing bets with Killer just smiling happily for some reason.

Everyone looked to the door when they heard it open to see it was Fresh with a questioning look. Some waved while others flipped him off, but generally everyone went back to what they were doing as Fresh went up to Nightmare and spoke.

"I found a place, broski. And its very rad I might say."

"Oh? What's this place called?"

"It's in a café called Simple Life, and the owner has a place that is soundproof from the outside so no one will hear us. Also, we will get food."

Horror perked up at that while Dust just gave him an amused look.

"I see. I would like to see the owner tomorrow, you will show me when I call for that."

"Okay, broski."

Nightmare just went back to reading as everyone did there own thing.

As the moon rose upon for the night for some reason, certain people feel like that everything would change.
