Secrets and Betrayal

(I know this is late but I was lazy)

Classic was concerned about Ink's new... attitude. The way he lashes out at everyone and fighting with Dream every day has him on edge. It's almost as if he's experiencing real emotions for the first time, but Ink admitted to having no soul. So him having emotions was impossible, right?

"What the hell is going on with you Ink? After that injury, you've never been the same,"

Classic muttered as he patiently waited for the human to pass through the Ruins and enter Snowdin.

Dream's been ostracized by everyone after he admitted being with his brother the entire time he was gone when they were caught conversing with each other. No one trusts the God of Positivity now, except for him. Classic's been keeping an eye on Dream, making sure he was okay every day. The others keep asking him why he's helping the god. He ignores their constant persistence.

Classic turned around when he heard the sound of a portal opening. Thinking it was Dream, he turned around to greet him.

"Hey, Dre- Oh, it's you,"

Classic grumbled from disappointment. Ink narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah it's me, we need to talk."

"I'm not in the mood. Go talk to Dream... oh yeah, you told him to fuck off once you found out he was chatting with his brother. You told your closest friend to fuck off. What is wrong with you?!"

"You have guts Classic, I'll give you that."

"I'm a skeleton,"

Classic retorted. Ink facepalmed.

"You know what I mean. But seriously, we need to talk."

"Go away, the human is about to come through the Ruins doors."

Ink scowled, but before he could grab Classic and teleport him to InkTale, someone interrupted him. A Sans who looked very similar to Classic appeared out of nowhere and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Leave him alone skittles."

Classic snickered at Ink's expression.

"Who the hell are you?"

Ink demanded, ignoring the insulting nickname. The newcomer glared at Ink.

"My name is not important, what is important is th-"

Dream and Nightmare suddenly appeared. Nightmare was in his uncorrupted form.

"Uhhhhhh Raidx, how the hell did you get here?"

The newcomer, now identified as Radix, just gave Dream a "are you serious" look. When Dream noticed Ink, he sheepishly returned Radix's look.

"Oops."

Nightmare facepalmed.

"Dream you're the most incompetent monster I have ever met."

"But you love me for it,"

Dream teased. Radix, to Classic, looked surprised.

"The last time I saw you two, you were both at each other's throat."

"But we made up, so deal with it,"

Dream snapped. Nightmare burst out laughing when Radix put his hands up. Radix noticed Dream's irritated glare and didn't want to put him in a bad mood, so he surrendered to avoid further conflict. Classic snickered but stopped when he noticed Ink's obvious irritation.

"Do you know him Dream?"

Ink demanded. Dream glared at his old friend.

"Yeah I do, in fact, he's the friend of the two monsters who beat the living shit out of you with Error's help."

Ink was beyond pissed off, but before he could lash out at the newcomer, Classic grabbed Ink's wrist and forced him to drop his brush.

"Are you insane?! He's obviously the original Sans in his multiverse!"

Radix, in mathematical circumstances, means a base of a system of numeration, and its formal version translates roughly into a source or origin of something. Classic used to be into math and science before Gaster fell so he knew both definitions. Before Classic could strangle Ink, Radix stepped in to separate them.

"Thanks, Classic, I am the original in my multiverse."

"Heh, no problem. By the way, you're Error's friend right? How is he doing?"

The look on everyone's faces (except for Radix and Classic himself) was fucking priceless. Out of all of the Sanses in this multiverse, they thought Classic was the least likely to be concerned about Error. Apparently, they were wrong. Ink shouted,

"What?! Since when do you care about Error?"

"Since I realized why he destroys AU's,"

Classic fired back. The clearing became deadly silent.

"How could you possibly know about Error if you two have never talked to each other?"

Nightmare asked suspiciously. Classic cursed himself, quickly realizing how fast it took to accidentally reveal a secret.

"It was a secret, and I think I want it to remain a secret,"

Classic replied. Radix looked pretty happy and accomplished. Everyone was confused and their confusion increased when Radix turned his attention to Classic.

"Can me and you talk alone for a few minutes?"

Radix asked. Ink did not look happy and it was taking almost all of Nightmare's self-control to not kill Ink for being so stupid. Dream put a comforting hand on his sibling's shoulder to calm him down and he gave Classic a reassuring nod.

"Okay, I trust Dream's judgment."

Radix held out his hand and Classic took it.

----------

"Welcome to a hidden part in WaterFall, I'm glad it exists here,"

Radix commented when they teleported to a hidden clearing that was inaccessible to Frisk. Classic chuckled nervously when he felt the power that radiated off of his doppelganger.

"So what's so important that we had to talk alone?"

Classic asked. Radix sighed and started pacing back and forth.

"I know your secret because I possess it as well. I believe you know Error's past better than he does."

"I probably do. Creator gave him a "permanent" memory reset so he only remembers little to nothing. His memory should be gone but if he's lucky, it's spotty."

"Thank god I don't have to explain that to you, but I... we need your help."

"We?"

Classic asked confused. Radix nodded.

"Me and my friends from my multiverse."

"What do you need my help for?"

Radix stopped pacing and gave Classic a very serious look.

"Error is missing, and if you don't help us find him, then both of our multiverses will descend into hell. Will you help me find him?"

----------

Error's POV

I absolutely despise the Void as it's basically the Anti Void except instead of all white, it's all black. They both even have voices insulting me!

"ShUT iT!"

I screamed at them and to my shock, they did... for five seconds. I sighed and gave up trying so instead of fighting a battle I know I won't win, I just walked in a random direction and ignored them.

"HellO?"

I called out, not used to being this isolated as much as I used to. As I continued on, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around with my strings ready, but to my surprise, it was an adolescent. A Sans as a teenager, but this kid looked like they've seen a lot. I sighed and unsummoned my strings to not freak out the kid.

"Sorry kidDo, yOU staRtlEd me,"

I said when the kid backed away uncertainty. He smiled sadly.

"Do you remember me?"

He asked quietly. I shook my head, confused. He had a sad look in his eyes.

"My name's Codec, do you still not remember me?"

"No kId, nO I dON't. I'm sORrY,"

I apologized, still confused on where I may have seen this kid. I mean honestly, if I destroyed his AU, he would have attacked me on sight. At least that's what I would do. The ki- Codec made a gesture to follow me.

"Follow me."

He turned around and started to walk away. I followed him as I really didn't have anything better to do. He did look kinda familiar now that I think about it, but where did he come from? You don't just fall into this part of the Void by accident. This part of the Void feels like a prison.

"HEy kI-"

"Shhhhhhh, it's close."

I was a little offended when the kid told me to shut it when I was talking, but that's when I realized why. A bat like creature with lizard features prowled around, making weird croaking noises that sounded like a dying froggit. I quickly realized that this creature had no eyes which meant it was most likely using echolocation to get around.

It's black scales reflected the little light my eyes gave off as I quietly walked around it, the kid leading the way. When we couldn't hear the croaks that the monster made, the kid spoke.

"That was close, we are almost there by the way."

"WhAT thE hElL waS thAt? AnD wHere Are yOu takINg me?"

I demanded. Codec sighed.

"That was a croaker, or at least that's what the other monsters down here call them. It can't see at all and it relies on its hearing to get around. We are lucky it wasn't hungry."

He shuddered as if he recalled a disturbing memory.

"And they're only the young compared to what they can mutate into."

"MuTate?"

I asked uneasily. He nodded.

"Mutations happen all the time to every living creature down here. For example, you could shrink or you could grow taller. That's common but there are other mutations that are rarer. An example of that would be you becoming a creator instead of being a destroyer."

"HoW dO yoU kNOw I dEStrOy?"

I asked the kid suspiciously.

"You don't remember? Whatever, it's irrelevant to your current situation anyway."

He grumbled. I decided to drop the topic, for now.

"Anyways, mutations are mostly bad and those croakers can have a mutation in their genetics that makes them very strong, fast, and intelligent."

"So bASicAlly, theY'rE oN sTErOids?"

I asked in a joking manner. He facepalmed.

"You're an idiot."

"So i'Ve bEEn tolD,"

I replied. He shook his head as if he was disappointed.

"Long story short, don't fight them unless you absolutely have too."

"GoT iT kIDdO, aRe tHey tHe onLY mONsTers dOWn hErE I shOuld worrY abOUT?"

"No, but they're the most common. Now let's pick up the pace before it comes back. Who knows if its apart of a pack or not."

----------

Classic's POV

When myself and Radix returned to the three gods, we were met with an interesting sight. Ink had his paintbrush out in a threatening way and Nightmare was in his corrupted form, his tentacles pointed in Ink's direction in, again in a threatening manner. The only thing that was keeping the two gods from fighting was Dream, who unsurprisingly stood in between the two trying to break up the fight. Radix stopped me from continuing.

"Dream is either very brave or very reckless to be standing in between two pissed off immortals."

"I think it's a mixture of both. I'm just surprised Nightmare didn't just attack Dream to get to Ink. I guess they really did makeup,"

I replied quietly. Radix started to sarcastically clap to gain their attention. I joined him.

"Congratulations, we leave for five minutes and you two are already trying to kill each other."

Nightmare rolled his eye and returned to his uncorrupted state. Ink reluctantly lowered his paintbrush and Dream let out a sigh of relief. Radix snickered.

"Anyway, myself and Classic had a discussion and we both agreed with him coming to my multiverse."

"What?!"

Ink yelled. Dream and Nightmare seemed unsure and I narrowed my eyes.

"I won't get killed I promise. We need to leave, now."

"If you die Classic, our multiverse will die,"

Ink warned. I smiled.

"And that's why I promised you that I wouldn't die because after all, I don't break promises."

"If Classic dies Radix, I will kill you. Got it?"

Nightmare threatened. Radix paled and nodded. I wonder if Error ever mentioned Nightmare. Ink sighed.

"I'll create a copy of you so the timeline can continue."

"Thank you, Ink."

"Classic?"

I turned around and noticed that Radix had opened a portal when I turned my back to him. He made a gesture and I walked through the portal after I waved goodbye to the gods behind me. Radix smirked and looked down at me.

Am I the only one who is irritated that he is the taller one?

----------

Error's POV

"Shhhhhh."

Codec hissed as a mutated croaker walked by. I'm really starting to hate this part of the Void. When it passed, Codec grabbed me by the arm and started to pull me causing me to glitch a little.

"We are almost there Error."

"YoU SaiD thAt fIVe miNUtEs agO,"

I muttered causing him to snicker.

Finally, after what felt like forever, we entered safer territory. How did I know? I just felt safer and I have learned over the years to trust my instincts. That's when I noticed two figures standing in the darkness. Codec stopped.

"This is where we will part ways as they don't like strangers, but you should be an exception."

"ThaNks, nOw i fEEl a lOt SaFer,"

I replied sarcastically. He smiled sadly and started to walk back the way from where we came from. But before he walked too far, he turned around.

"Be careful around them and remember, only one of them genuinely wants to help you,"

He warned before disappearing. I'm not going to lie, I'm gonna miss the little sarcastic Sans. But I don't belong down here and even though he is vaguely familiar, it's not enough to make me regret seeing him go. Shaking my head, I approached the two skeletons.

The first one was sitting on the ground drawing in a blue book. He looked similar to Ink except instead of paint vials on his sash, there were colored pencils and an eraser. The green hoodie around his waist went well with his white sweater and black pants. His white and green sneakers laces were untied but he either didn't notice them or he just didn't care. His right eye was currently a green upside-down question mark and his left eye socket was empty. This is probably Paint's creator.

The other skeleton reminded me of my insane days. At least what I wore anyway. I couldn't really see his face because of the black hood that covered most of his skull, but I could see the red-stained tear tracks permanently stained on his white skull. They were similar to my own. Their reddish blackish hoodie and black pants were torn and worn down and unlike his friend, his black and red sneakers laces were tied. Right now, he's messing around with his red strings. His fingers were colored black and red instead of my yellow and red fingers.

The darker skeleton was the first one to notice my presence. He unsummoned his strings and stood up.

"You mUSt be ErRor, mY nAMes StATiC anD thIs is mY cOmPaniOn SkEtCH."

I was genuinely amused when he said companion instead of friend.

"yEah, wHo tOLd yOu?"

"VoID,"

He replied nonchalantly. Sketch stood up and stretched.

"Yup, it's nice to finally meet you by the way. We've heard a lot about you."

"I hOpE it'S noTHiNg tO bAd."

"We've heard mostly good things about you,"

He replied. Static nervously smiled.

"I knoW wE juSt mEEt anD alL, bUt can YoU dO me A favOr?'

"WhAT?"

I asked uneasily.

"CaN yOu heLp me esCapE? SkeTch alReaDy haS a way oUt."

I watched him while his companion rolled his eye.

"HoW coUld i hElp yOu anywAy?"

I asked. He sighed.

"InEeDyOutOabSOrBmYsoUlsoicAnlEAve,"

He replied quickly. Myself and Sketch shared a look before I turned my attention back to him.

"I miGhT bE a gOd, bUt i cAN't uNdeRstAnd gibberisH."

He took a deep breath and he said much more slowly,

"I nEeD yOu tO abSOrB mY soUl so i cAn lEAve."

"WHAT?!"

----------

Classic's POV

I was uneasy about being in a foreign multiverse. I entered Radix's house in what he calls the Abyss. I still had that uneasy feeling but then I heard him yell,

"Guys! I need to talk to all of you right now!"

"I'm busy and Scourge pissed off Reaper and they're currently fighting right now!"

A voice cried back from upstairs. I could hear a lot of arguing upstairs.

"They started another fucking war didn't they?"

Radix grumbled. I burst out laughing, all of the uneasiness from before had disappeared. The same guy must have heard me because he yelled,

"Who's that?!"

"Get your ass down here and you'll figure it out!"

Radix yelled back. When no one replied, he facepalmed.

"They're a bunch of idiots, I swear Classic."

"So you live with a bunch of idiots? I can relate."

He snickered and a different, higher pitched voice yelled,

"Who's that Radix?!"

"Come down here and you'll figure it out!"

"I'm a little busy right now!"

He yelled back. Finally, Radix gave up.

"Get down here now, I brought someone from another multiverse!"

That did it. Soon, I was surrounded by a bunch of Sanses who looked like my friends. Most of them had curious looks, but Nightmare's friend's look-alikes had a suspicious look plastered on their face. Nightmare and Dream's look-alikes had an irritated look. I shifted uneasily and stood right next to Radix for protection. Radix glared at them and they stood down.

"He's the original from Error's multiverse so if he dies, Error dies,"

He warned. Ink's look alike sighed and held his hand out for me to shake.

"My names Paint, but I am also known as the protector of the AU's, what's your name?"

I shook his hand and smiled.

"My names Classic, it's nice to meet you."

Radix and Paint introduced me to the others and they all seemed pretty nice and respectful. Even the darker Sanses were nice except they also gave me looks that made me feel uncomfortable. When Nightmare's look alike aka Bane noticed there "harassment", he whacked them in the back of their skulls, causing them to cry out in surprise and glare at him.

"Don't creep him out."

"Okay,"

Scourge replied, although I highly doubt they will actually stop. I have a feeling Bane realized that as well because he gave me an apologetic look. I just shrugged back. His brother, Reverie cleared his throat.

"Not trying to be rude or anything, but why is he here?"

Radix sighed and put his hands into his pockets.

"As you all know, Error is missing and we can't find him. But a power that all the original Sanses have is the ability to know where their copies are at all times, including other things that are irrelevant right now."

"So Classic can locate Error?"

Butcher asked. Radix replied,

"Yep."

I started to space out after that as I was trying to locate Error, sifting through all of the AU's code. I'm lucky that I only have to look through a small amount of AU's compared to the billions of AU's Ink creates. What I found chilled me down to the bone.

"-sic? Classic?!"

Radix yelled, trying to regain my attention. I jumped in surprise.

"Yeah? I was totally paying attention. What is it?"

The Sanses burst out laughing at my cluelessness. Radix shook his head.

"Can you locate Error?"

"Already did,"

I replied, a little scared of what their reactions will be when they hear this.

"Where is he?"

Fresh asked. I took a deep breath and said,

"Error's in the Void."

----------

Error's POV

Static and Sketch took a step back as I recovered from my shock. When was the last time I didn't glitch when I spoke? I can't recall, but that's beside the point.

"So yOU waNt to POsseSs me?"

I asked. Static shook his head.

"That'S nOt how iT wORks. ThE oNLy thIng thAT woUld chAnGe woUld be mE taLKiNg to You. It wOUld be sIMilaR to thE vOiceS thAt usED to sHOut aT yOu eXcePt I wOn't sAy anY derOgaTory comMenTs."

"WhAt woULd bE thE prOS aNd CoNS?"

"AnD tHE conS?"

"At least he was honest,"

I thought to myself. But before I could say anything, Sketch stood up.

"I gotta go, I'll see you around Static."

"ByE SkEtCh,"

Static replied before Sketch disappeared. I turned to Static nervously.

"UhHhhhh, yoUr coMpanion iS a vEry skEtchY chAracTer."

Static snickered when he heard the pun.

"YoU're Right, and I dOn't tRust him."

"YoU doN'T tRusT YoUr coMPanIon? WhY?"

"I sWEar on VoId'S naMe tHAt whAt i aM aboUT tO TelL yoU is TruE."

I felt the ground tremble and I nervously looked at Static. Swearing on either of the major god's names was a huge risk. Especially if the one who swore lies.

"OkaY, tEll mE wHateVEr yOu waNt, bUt aFTeR thiS, I wANt tO LeAVe."

"OkAY,"

Static reluctantly agreed. He sat down and I copied his actions.

"Me and SkeTcH aRe tHE PrOTectORs oF thIs MulTIveRse, bUt fALleN prOTecTors iS a beTter deFiniTIOn if i'M honeST."

I listened to his story, quietly taking everything in.

"HoLd on, whAT's thE OBliVioN?"

I asked. I have a feeling it's a part of the Void but I might be wrong.

"Called it!"

"ThE oBLiVIon is A pRIsoN wHIle tHe nOrmaL vOid iS juST EteRnal boreDom."

I snickered at the last part. Static smiled as well before continuing.

"AnY wAY, bASiCally SkeTch cHAngEd in a nEGaTIve wAy whIle i chANgEd foR tHe beTtEr."

"WhaT dOEs sKEtCH wANT?"

I asked curiously. Static sighed and started to rub his face.

"Is hE aFTer PaINt?"

I already have a feeling I know who this "host" is.

I asked quietly. He groaned.

"Yes, bUt i doN't knOW iF it'S wISe to tELl yOu."

I snapped back. After some more back and forth bickering, he finally caved.

"YeS."

"FiNE, iT's..."

He trailed off looking unsure. I still pressed him though.

"WhO is iT sTATiC?"

"It'S iNk."

Classic's POV

For a moment no one spoke or even moved. They had looks of shock, disbelief, and worry. Paint groaned from the stress.

"How the hell did he fall down there?"

"Why are you asking me?"

I fired back. Reverie quickly stepped in before a fight could break out.

"Woah guys woah, calm the fuck down before someone gets injured. We can't help Error if he's hurt."

"My brother is right, you two need to step away from each other."

Bane added. Unlike Ink, Paint actually listened to the two siblings and reluctantly stepped back. I sighed in relief.

"Thank you for avoiding a fight."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever,"

Paint grumbled. I take that back, he acts exactly like Ink. I introduced my hand to my face.

"We need to get Error out of the Void now,"

I warned, but I lost my train of thought when I noticed Paint's sudden fear. Bane noticed as well because he ran over to Paint to check if he was all good. Reverie joined him.

"Paint, what's wrong?"

Paint eye flashed from blue to an alarming red color before returning back to blue. He turned around with a somber expression, worrying his friends and myself and I don't even know what's going on. Paint took a deep breath and said,

"He's back and this time he's not alone."

I heard quiet whispers and obvious distress from everyone here.

"Not another war,"

Blue cried as Cosmo shook his head.

"I thought Sketch killed him."

That's when I finally had enough. I snapped.

"Okay, okay, timeout. Who the hell are we talking about?"

"Sketch and Static were the protectors of this multiverse before they both perished during the Multiverse War,"

Radix replied, his expression seemed distance as if he was experiencing a flashback. Paint took out his brush and faced everyone with a determined expression.

"Sketch has already escaped, but Static is still trapped so we need to act fast."

"Why?"

I asked confused.

"Because if we don't do something now, Error will never be the same,"

Paint replied. I tried to look for Error again, but the signal was faint.

"It's getting harder to find him,"

I warned. Radix grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house.

"Then we have no time to lose. I know a shortcut to the Void, but getting out would be a little bit harder."

He hissed and teleported us to the Void. I had no say in this whatsoever so when we arrived, I slapped him.

"Are you fucking crazy?! The Void is like a prison, we will never get out of here alive!"

Radix rubbed the part of his skull that I hit and chuckled.

"Damn, I never thought you would be able to pack a punch like that from what Error described."

Before I could murder him, I took a deep breath and walked away. He had to jog to catch up to me.

"Hey, where the hell are you going?"

He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm going to the area where I last felt Error's code, duh."

"I now see where Error gets his personality from."

"And I see where Paint gets his attitude from."

Radix glared at me, so I gave him my notorious troublemaker smirk as I sprinted away from him before he could slap me.

Error's POV

"InK? WhY the hEll woUld hE do tHIS?"

I asked Static. He shrugged.

"I'm nOt one huNdrEd perCent suRe, but I ThiNk SkeTch menTioned making A dEal with hIm thrOUgh thE dreAmsCape."

"ExaCtly, soMethiNg is wrOng,"

Static agreed.

"MaybE he pUlled a fEw strIngS to cOntacT Ink, i'M not suRe."

I glared at him after he made the clever pun that he probably didn't mean to say.

"tHEn whY cOuldn't you pulL a fEw strIngS to cOntaCt me?"

"BeCAuse I am nOt an idIot."

I just gave him this blank stare, shaking my head at his confused look.

"You kNOw What? I'm nOt eveN goINg to sAy anYthinG."

"WhAT?"

I don't know if I should laugh at him or ignore it. For the sake of not having an argument, I'll say nothing.

"sEriously ErroR, whAt?"

"NevEr minD,"

I replied. We had a moment of awkward silence before he cleared his throat.

"So aNyway, cAn you plEase hElp me?"

"I-i dON't knOw abOut thiS StaTic,"

I replied. Before he could try to convince me otherwise, I heard a very familiar cry from behind me.

"Error?!"

No way. I turned around and saw a Sans I never thought I would ever see down here.

"ClAssIC?"

I asked, shocked. He quickly ran behind me, being careful not to touch me, which I can really appreciate. I never did see him at massive fights with Ink and his creations (except for that last one), so I don't hate him. But that doesn't mean I like or trust him.

"CaN I hElp you?"

I asked, irritated. He looked back from the way he came from, nervous.

"Protect me from your friend Radix, will you?"

I was surprised at first, but then I snickered after realizing what might have happened. I could faintly hear Static chuckling in the background.

"Classic you son of a gun, get back here or I'll pummel you to the ground!"

Classic gave me a weak smile and I facepalmed when I heard what he said right after.

"I may or may not have slapped him."

When Radix arrived, he noticed my glare and hesitated for a second, not wanting to fight me to get to his victim. I crossed my arms over my chest and I just gave him a look.

"What? He deserves any punch I deliver Error,"

Radix exclaimed, defending himself. I gave Classic the look.

"Do yOU deSeRve it?"

"I mean, if you were suddenly teleported to a prison made by a god without a warning, wouldn't you slap him to?"

He reasoned. I nodded.

"YeAh, I woUld hit hIm if hE dId thAt."

"I am right here ya know,"

He grumbled.

"I knOw, thAT's whY I sAid it,"

I replied, causing Classic to burst out laughing. I joined him while Radix irritatedly watched us. But our fun was interrupted when I heard Static clear his throat.

"I'm StIll hEre ErrOr."

"SoRRy?"

I replied. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Radix's bad time eye activate, putting him in a defensive position. Classic copied his actions, minus the bad time eye. Although he did look like he would be ready to activate it if something went down. Radix snarled,

"Static."

"RaDix... iT's beEn a whIle, haSn't it?"

Static replied. I could tell he was becoming more nervous from the increase of static in his voice. So that's where he gets his name from.

"Radix, who is this?"

Classic asked confused.

"The same god that murdered AU's for fun during the Multiverse War,"

Radix replied, agitated. Classic shared my concerned look when he heard it.

"I wAsn't iN the rIght stAte of mInd,"

Static replied defensively. Radix sneered.

"That's no fucking excuse Static, I lost a lot of close friends to your actions."

"I rEgret iT!"

"Regret won't bring either of our friends back!"

"I wASn't thE oNly oNe at fAUlt!"

"You brainwashed Bane when he was corrupted and his gang into serving you!"

"ThEY endEd up bEtrAying mE aNd it'S all sKetCh's and RevErie's fauLt!"

"Sketch died because of you!"

"ThAT iS noT trUe! YoU KIlled hIm aNd hIs deATh kIllEd me!"

Dead silence filled the Void after Static's response shocked us all. I looked at Radix, confused.

"RaDiX, iS thIS tRue?"

I asked quietly. He glared at Static but lost it quickly. His posture sagged and he lowered his head as if he regretted doing something.

"... Yeah... I did kill him,"

Radix admitted. I gave him a disappointed look, but Classic didn't seem fazed. If anything, his tone sounded like he did something similar. So he calmly asked Radix,

"Why would you kill your protector?"

Radix looked at the ground, refusing to give us any sort of eye contact.

"Because he started to act out like Static did before the war. I just... I just didn't want to take the chance, so I killed him and lied to the others."

Static sighed.

"It waS mErcY becAUse you weRe rigHT, he waS stARting to gEt wHAteveR I got."

"But the others won't see it that way! They'll torture me because they can't kill me if they ever find out,"

Radix snapped. He looked close to tears and to my disbelief, Classic walked over and comforted him. I mean, after that incident earlier with the slap or whatever, I wasn't sure if they even liked each other. They were talking in hushed tones, but I was able to catch,

"It's okay, you did what you felt what was right at the time."

From Classic. While they were talking, Static walked over to me and stood next to me.

"YeAh?"

I asked. He sighed and l grew worried.

"So, hAve you thOUght abOut it?"

"NoT reAlly,"

I replied. His expression suddenly grew desperate.

"ErrOr pleAse,"

He begged.

"If i cAN't gEt out aNd Stop SkEtch, botH of oUr mulTIveRse'S wiLl be desTrOyed."

Before I could reply, I heard Radix yell,

"Error, don't listen to him, he's manipulative!"

"ErRor, dOn't lisTen to sOmeoNe wHo liEd to yOu fOr selF preSerVation!"

"Error, I'm genuinely sorry and I understand if you now don't trust me, but please, don't listen to him!"

They went back and forth, both trying to convince me otherwise. I looked at Classic for some sort of help, but he just shrugged and mouthed,

"Do what you believe is the right move. I'll do my best to back you up and fight Ink, no matter what you choose."

I gave him a discrete nod, and he nodded back.

Both of them were trying to catch my attention. This was honestly reminding me of the voices that used to haunt me back when I lived in the Anti Void.

I perceived Static's desperate look and Radix's fearful look, almost as if he's gone through this before. I tuned out their begs and arguments between each other to really consider the cons and pros of either choice. I could faintly hear Classic yelling at both of them to shut it. I sighed and glared at both of them, effectively shutting them both up. Classic gave me a supportive smile and I returned it.

Then I made my choice.

5196 words... There will be a lot of mistakes but I am way to lazy to reread it over and over again and I've already reread this three times. There was a lot of repeating sentences in the last chapter and that's my fault so sorry if it was confusing.

I have kind of made up my mind for who Error chooses, but you can comment your opinions on who he chooses and I might go with the majority but no promises. I like reading your comments and your opinions and critiques on the chapters. No promises on receiving a reply though.

Also, 10k read... thank you for that. I was never expecting this to be so popular so I don't know why people like this so much. I kinda hate the earlier chapters if I'm being honest...

It's 12:44 AM, I'm going to bed now. Enjoy the cliffhanger.
