The messenger looked at her eyes filled with hatred and knew that she was precious to the god, "Song Xue, if you wanted to avenge yourself and your child. You must eliminate Xiao Wen's mercenary assassin, the red lotus and his accomplice who worked with him but you mustn't focus your revenge too much. You must protect the people you love." He said in a deep voice.

"Then what should I do? They are very expert and cunning and there's no way. I can't defeat them all by myself." I asked the messenger.

"There is a way... You must gather the phoenix warriors." He answered.

"Did you say the phoenix warriors?!" I bellowed in bewilderment.

"Yes... Warriors protect their master.... and never betray their master, and to stay with him to the end." He said. The legendary warriors who protect the crimson king with their own lives so the legend is true!

"These warriors who protected my ancestors with their own lives." I answered.

"Corrected, these warriors are her brother and sister... They were chosen by the gods and grant a devastating ability to protect her...The innate powers." He explains in a deep voice, "One was given vision that could see across great distance. One was given a body which is gentle as a feather. One was given a leg to leap as high by great jumping the size like flight. One was given the voice that has ability to sing which is very good to hear. Those people who cannot march their power because of such power, they were targeted by many people who desired their power."

"What happened to them?" I also wanted to ask where the warriors disappeared.

"All the countries decided to massacre them and wipe out their existence entirely. After the massacre ended, many of the participants died without reason in a gruesome manner. Your ancestor passed away, they established their own villages and lived there silently to protect their existence from people wanting their powers and to preserve their bloodline..." He said in a low voice.

That's explained why the warriors disappeared... to hide their power from the outside world, "Where can I find them?"

He smiles, "You already met some of the warriors in your last life Song Xue..."

"What?" I felt confused.

He waves his hand as the 6-image appears in front of us. 4 warriors that I don't recognise from my last life. My gaze stops as I saw Li Qin and Zhirou!

" Li Qin can't be the phoenix warriors, even Zhirou! They don't have the power like the phoenix warriors!" Zhirou sacrificed herself to save me from the Band of 7 because I was injured so badly. Li Qin died protecting me from the red lotus and was too weak to fight against them.

"The reason they didn't know about their power because their village was destroyed by the outsider who desired the power, long time." He explained.

"So that why they didn't know that they're the next generation of the phoenix warriors."

He nodded, "You already have 1 warrior with your side and you must find other 5 warriors who will help you fight against them but you have to be careful. Anyone learns their power exists then it could be too dangerous for them."

"But how can I find them? I don't know where can I find the phoenix warriors?" I asked.

"You don't have to worried. Once your power awaken then they will come for you or you will come and find them." He answered, "Protect the people you dear the most."

I clenched my palms. My mind filled with happiness, the people who trusted and loved me the most... My father... My mother... Li Qin... The people who trusted me the most and... Sheng... "I will do anything to protect the Xia kingdom where the people can smile and laugh, filled with joy and happiness. I will protect the people I love with my power." I said in a stern voice as the messenger smiled.

His whole body's glow as it scattered brilliantly and gently into particle light, "You have become a phoenix who has reborn from the ashes, and rises as they renounce themselves from love and returns full of hatred... Swore to heaven..." His words echoed in my mind as the particle light went toward the sky and became bright.

"I, Song Xue swore to the heavens! I swore to all the Gods! No matter how many lifetimes passes, I will come back and collect the debts they owed me! Even if I have to sell my own soul! I shall have my vengeance! No matter what!!" I exclaimed as my voice echoed.

Suddenly the sky exploded as the air pushed me. The light became bright as it transformed into a beautiful creature blazing with flame soaring at the sky was the crimson phoenix.

"Song Xue, your soul shall be wakening along with the soul of the phoenix. You shall become that light and ascend the heavens. The people of yore would deem the very visage of the crimson phoenix as the warrior who ascends the heavens. May heaven watch over you and protect you with their guides!" The voice echoed in the space as it flew toward me and I closed my eyes.

The flame embraced my body and the aura passed through me as it felt like my blood was flowing backwards. Slowly opened my eyes blazing like flame as the darkness embraced me.

I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed them as I began to sit up on my bed. My mind snapped and I remembered I saw a terrible future where Xiao Wen caused the Xia kingdom into hell and the messenger who told me that I was the descendant of the crimson king.

All these years, Sheng was alive but how? Who brought him back to life? He has a lot of rebel army and took over the throne from Xiao Wen. In his last life, the physician told me that Sheng's body was poisoned by arrows which weakened his body so that's why the leader couldn't kill him because his martial art was too powerful.

I needed a plan to stop them, "Huh?" I noticed something wrong and saw the golden mirror reflection of myself with red hair, "What the..." I quickly run at the mirror and analyses it. My hair is red just like the legend but with the straight hair as I look at the reflection in the golden mirror. It's like a jewel as I twirl my hair. Admire how beautiful my red hair is.

"It's like reflecting into the sunlight... But..." I hold my head and scream, "I can't let anyone see this! How I returned my hair back to normal!" I notice my hair returns to black as I sigh relief and never thought my hair can change normally.

I watched the view and thought about the past. In my last life there were some people who tried to kill Xiao Wen, 10 years ago. I don't know who they are but they were killed by Yao Ting. I cupped my chin and wondered why they're after Xiao Wen? I remember there was a symbol on their swords but I couldn't get close to look. The day of the ceremony where the assassins attack the palace... Where I protect him by shielding him as I got a scar on my shoulder blade which cannot be healed.

Suddenly Li Qin appeared in front of me with the bucket and noticed her eyes were a bit black like she hadn't slept well, "Li Qin, are you alright? It looks like you haven't slept well." I asked as she yawned a little and rubbed her eyes.

"Don't worry about me, Miss but I have to help you dress up. Here the water to wash your face." She smiled as I splash the warm water on my face. It feels good, wiping my face with a towel. I stared at her and never realized that she's the descendant of the dark phoenix, "Miss, here's your dress."

She held the plain hanfu as an ordinary man's clothes. I have always dressed in boy's clothes and practiced swordsman for 17 years. I never dressed the beautiful dress like others and always acted like a tomboy. In the palace where everyone was mocking me in the last life, "Li Qin, I don't need that dress. I want you to get me a girl's dress."

"What?" She said in a surprised voice and accidentally dropped the handful. She slowly picked up the clothes while staring at me, "Why?" She said in a curious voice and sounded happy.

"I wanted to dress beautifully like other girls. It's been a long time, I haven't worn it." I answered. her lips crept into smiles and giggled darkly as my spine shivered.

"He... he... he... he... Miss, I have waited for a long time to make you the most beautiful woman in the kingdom." Li Qin said with a creepy voice while tapping her fingers together, "I will be back soon!" She exclaimed, dashing outside and left me dumbfounded.

"I never realized Li Qin always obsessed over the dress for me and I wonder what dress she will give me?" I saw Li Qin run inside, holding the box and put it on the table.

"Prepare Miss as I'm about to make you the fairest woman!" Li Qin exclaimed, held the beautiful blue hanfu that I had never seen before.

"Li Qin, where did you get this?" I asked as she smiled.

"I made these clothes for you. Now let me help you dress up." Helping me as I dress the hanfu. I look at myself with my eyes widened in shock. Standing in front of the woman in the blue hanfu with a pattern cloud and a slightly exposed shoulder. Her arms were covered by her white robe. Her waist was held by a sash that has a blue ribbon on top of it with white lotus.

She turned my body as I was facing the mirror. Looking at the mirror as she holds the combs and hairpin between her fingers. I feel so nervous as she combs my hair. Li Qin tied my hair which was held up by a jeweled blue ornament with the feather that resembles a hairpin. She also ties several strands of my hair with long blue ribbon and lets it flow freely past in front.

"Wow, I made the most beautiful woman in the Xia Kingdom!" She cheers by raising her hands up as we didn't notice the maid was standing. She gasped in shock by looking at me and spoke in the tremble voice.

"Miss, yo_ you look so beautiful... Oh my gosh..." She keeps staring at me which makes me uncomfortable as I cough. She snapped and bowed down.

"What's brought you here?" I ask in a gentle voice.

"This servant was sent by Lord Shun. He wanted you to meet in the hall room." She answered. I think my father wanted me to meet with Sheng.

"Thank you, you may leave." She nodded and left my room. I stood up and walked outside as Li Qin followed me, "Li Qin, do you think that the 3rd prince will like my dress."

"Of course, he will like the dress. The 3rd prince has never seen the woman who dresses so beautifully." She teases as we begin to laugh. The servants and maids were cleaning the garden and saw me as they were stunned. We kept walking to the hall.

In the hall room

Where the general was having tea with the 3rd prince while his guard, Xu Jeng was standing beside him, "My father has agreed about the marriage between me and your daughter but he said if she accepts this marriage." He told the general as he nodded.

"I know, we kept the secret from my daughter but give her a chance to decide with her words." He wanted his daughter to marry but he was nervous that she meant he rejected the marriage.

Xiao Sheng knows the general saying, "I heard your health is better..." Xiao Sheng drank his tea as the general began to laugh.

"All thanks to my daughter. She made the medicine for me... My daughter has grown mature somehow as I noticed she's changed." He said and drank his tea.

"She's changed?" Xiao Sheng asked in a curious tone while the maid poured the tea in the cup.

"Well... My daughter has_" He was about to say something but was cut by the maid who dropped the cup as it smashed on the floor which startled both of them, "What's the matter with you!" He exclaimed at the maids who were standing like statues. Song Shun noticed she wasn't listening and spoke.

"She's so beautiful..." She whispered. Xiao Sheng look confuse and turned as his eyes widened, staring at the woman in the beautiful dress was Song Xue. Everyone in the hall went silent and stared at the beautiful woman standing in front of them.

"Greeting father..." I greet my father and look at Sheng with a smile, "Greeting your majesty." Sheng's eyes are dark as night, staring at me. I felt happy to see him alive but he didn't say, "Is something wrong? Or is this dress uncomfortable?"

"No, Xue'er... I never realized as if they were totally different persons. For what I see, the goddess of war is not intelligent but a beautiful woman as well." Sheng said in a passionate word as I blushed.

Song Shun couldn't speak but staring at his daughter who resembled her mother's face filled with love and beauty inside. He looked at them both and realized Song Xue dressed the hanfu to impress the 3rd prince as he began to smile, "Why don't you take the 3rd prince to the garden my daughter." He said as I nodded.

"Yes, father..." I replied and took Sheng's hand and left them behind as I leading him at the garden.

While we were walking in the garden, "It's been 4 months, I came home." I said to Sheng while smelling the flower.

"Indeed..." Sheng spoke darkly which shivered my spine as he stood in front of me, "It's been a long since you went to the battle and I miss you so much." He tilted his head and smirked at me.

"Oh, please Sheng, it's only 4 months since I returned home." I said in a sarcastic voice as he laughed.

"Well, I still miss you." I shook my head and laughed.

"I never saw you dressed very beautifully Xue. You used to wear man clothes when you're child and never wore the girl's dress."

"Life can be changed." I replied with a smile, "I heard you were talking with my father. What's bringing you here in the Song mansion."

He's been preparing his life to say, "I came here to ask with your father about..." He said in a low voice, "The marriage..."

"The marriage?" I asked.

"The marriage between you and... me..." He said as his hand held mine and looked at me with something that I couldn't describe his eyes but described love, "Xue'er, I want you to be my wife... My only wife..." In my last life, where Sheng proposed to me which shocked me. Before, he could express his feelings with me but I stopped him and told him that I didn't want the marriage with him and only thought of him as a brother. I wanted to know why he chose me?

"But Sheng, why me? I'm just a general who serves the country and you're a royal prince." I said with a surprising voice, "There's a lot of girls who would be honoured to be your bride but why me?"

His hand placed on my cheek affectionately, "You're different... Different from other girls... You're strong... Kind... And brave, that I never imagined.... Xue, I fell in love with you... Not just your beauty or your status but your smile and strength." His gentle smile as my eyes widened in surprise and never thought he would say something beautiful as I felt my heart was beating so fast.

"Sheng, I never realized you have feelings for me... In our childhood, I only thought of you as a brother..." I spoke softly, his expression fell into disappointment.

"You thought of me as a brother... I..." Before he could say anything as I spoke.

"I also fell in love with you Sheng." I said with a smile.
