Shelby's POV

Its been a couple of months since I spoke to Max in person. (Sorry for that) But since that day, we've been talking and texting on the phones a lot. But I don't know what we are. Are we a couple? Are we friends? What are we? (You guys are human. That's all I can say)

"Shelby you're gonna be late to school!" Mom shouted.

"Coming!" I replied as I grabbed my phone and my bag and headed down stairs.

I stopped to say bye to my mom, as I opened the door. I walked out the house, seeing my friends waiting for me.

I walked up to them and Jess was the first to greet me with a hug. The guys smiled at me and we all started to walk to school.

Max's POV

"Later mom" I said as I opened the door.

As I was about to head out the door, mom grabbed my wrist and made me turn around.

"Maxwell, your aunt Maria and your uncle Jason sent you this" She said as she gave me a 6 x 6 x 3 sized box that had a blue bow on top. (6 x 6 x 3 boxes are the same size as a box that cakes come in. Picture above)

I looked down at the box she passed to me and glanced back at her before opening it.

A pair of crimson headphones were inside the box.

I stood there with a shocked expression on my face and looked up at my mom.

"Thanks mom!" I said as took her into a big hug.

"Oh, don't thank me. Thank your aunt and uncle. It looks like those cost a fortune." She said glancing at headphones.

"Tell them I said thanks! Later mom." I said as I went through the door and out the house.

As I walked down the street I saw Shelby and her friends walking together. I blushed a little as I stared at her beauty. The way her hair looks in the sunlight; her beautiful eyes that shine; and her cute little smiles and giggles.

"Hey Max!" a voice said cheerfully.

I yelped in surprise. I turned around to see Cory and some other dude next to him. God, he scared me.

"God, you scared me! Don't ever do that!" I said.

"Oh, sorry" Cory said chuckling.

"It's ok, anyways who's this?" I said pointing to the stranger next to him.

"Oh, my name is Nick" He said holding out his hand to greet me.

We shook hands and started to walk to school together.

Uni's POV

"Hey guys!" I yelled as I spotted the three other hybrids.

"Hey Uni" Said Bobby, Kitty and Ann in union.

"So what are we gonna do today?" I asked.

"Don't know. Probably go paint on the school walls again." said Ann.

"Cool" I replied.

"Hey, isn't that the camara-thing that you used to be friends with?" Bobby said in a disgusted tone in his voice.

"Huh?"

Bobby pointed behind me.

I turned around to see Cory with Nick and Max. I glared at Max and heard Cory laugh at something Nick had said. They don't see me.

"Tch, he doesn't matter now. Let's go" I said with a slight hint of pain in my voice.

Shelby's POV

When we made it to school we noticed that we had a little bit of time left. So we decided to talk. We huddled into a group and waited for someone to talk first.

"So, how's your first week as a couple guys?" Jin asked elbowing Barney in a mockingly way.

"It's beens the bestest week of my lifes" Barney said grabbing Red by the waist and bringing him closer to his body.

Red blushed at the sudden movement and stayed silent.

"Looks like Red liked his first week of dating Barney too" Ross said making everybody tease Red and Barney by saying "ooooo".

"Aw, come on guys! Don't tease the happy couple" Jess said in a jokingly way.

As I listened to the conversation in the corner of my eye I saw Max looking at me.

I turned my attention to him and he blushed at my sudden movement and looked away. I giggled at his sweet personality and turned my attention back at the group.

Max's POV

As Nick was telling Cory and I about his collection of bottle caps I looked around to see Shelby talking to her group of friends. I couldn't help but stare.

She is just so cute....

She suddenly turns to me showing me her cute smile. I blush at her sudden movement and look away.

Nick's POV

"I gotta go before the bell rings. I like to be there before everyone." Cory said.

"Ok! bye Cory!" I said cheerfully as Cory walked away.

"Well, looks like Cory is gonna miss my awesome stories! I guess its just you and me, Max." I say as I look at Max to see him blushing and looking down at his feet.

"Max? Ok, I know that I'm handsome and all but I don't roll that way." I say jokingly.

Max then shot his head up and glares at me.

"What the heck, man?!" Max said glaring at me.

I laugh and look back at him.

"Relax dude! I was kidding! But why is are you blushing?" I suddenly gasped by surprise. I think I know why he is blushing.

"Who do you like?! Does Max have a crush?!" I say wanting to know.

Max's POV

"W-Well...I...u-um...heh...heh." I stuttered

Suddenly the school bell rings and I sigh in relief.

Shelby's POV

As I was looking at Jess and Ross fight about which ship was better the bell rings and everyone starts walking inside.

"I'll meet you guys there. I gotta go get something from a teacher." I lied. I just want to speak to him one more time before school.

I walk into the crowd of people trying to get into the school. Dodging and passing by the other people was difficult. I could see him past a group of people and he can see me.

I make eye contact and we both got lost in each others eyes. I could barely even tell if I was still walking.

Suddenly I bumped into someone causing me to fall down.

"Sorry! I wasn't looking" I said as I picked up my books.

"Its okay. Let me help you up." The stranger who sounded male said holding out his hand.

"Thanks. I said as I took his hand and looked at him.

He had dirty blond hair and his facial features were odd. He had one normal eye on his left of his face but on the other he had a camara lens.

How have I not seen him before?

He stared at me and I just looked at him confused.

"Shelby! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?" Max said as he ran up to me with worried look on his face.

"I'm fine, Max. It was just a small fall" I said and smiled at his kindness.

"O-Oh. I forgot to introduce myself..." The stranger started.

"M-My name's C-Cory." Cory said holding out his hand for me to shake it.

I shook his hand while he looked down at his feet.

He seems strange...

Cory's POV

"I-I.....I gotta go!" I said as I ran into the school.

Man, what was that about? What happened to me back there?   I thought.

I cringed as I thought of how I acted when I saw her. [heheheh]

I walked down the hall and up the stairs to find my first class. As I was about to turn the corner I stopped in my tracks.

Great. He is here

I stood there behind the corner staring (stalking) him and his "friends" while sulking.

Max's POV

"Sorry Shelby, I gotta go. I can't be late again." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

"It's okay. I understand." Shelby replied.

"Really? Thanks Shelbs." I said rushing into the school.

Nick's POV

Walking to class, I spotted Cory near the corner of the hall looking at something. He clenched his fists, making his nails scratch some of the beige paint off the wall.

What's he staring at?

I crept up behind Cory looking around corner with him.

Cory's POV

"Watcha looking at?" I heard a voice behind my ear whisper with curiosity.

I jumped and looked up to see Nick behind me snickering.

"Not funny!" I yelled in a whisper.

"Well, it was to me" Nick replied.

"Whatever." I mumbled.

"So what are you looking at?" Nick questioned.

"None of your-

"What are you guys doing?" A male voice asked.

Nick and I jumped by surprise and saw Max behind us.

"O-Oh...uh...we were just talking about that movie about that one guy with his friends....that uh....his friend punched him in the face!" Nick said nervously.

Max raised a brow and I just face palmed.

I sighed and looked back up at Max.

"There is someone around the corner I don't want to see or talk to." I replied in defeat.

"So, you're stalking them?" Max questioned.

"No!" (Yes) Cory whined.

"Well, let's go. I can't be late again." Max said as he dragged Nick and I around the corner.

I panicked as we were near Uni.

I don't want to talk to him! I don't want to see him! Heck, I wish he wasn't born! At the last thing I thought about my heart stung.

I looked at him and saw him looking at me. (Sparks fly!)

I stared into his royal blue eyes and saw something.

Man, I never noticed how cute his eyes looked. They almost look like puppy dog eyes.

I kept walking, star struck.

What the-?!?!? Where did that complement come from?!

As I looked back up, I saw that we made it past Uni.

"There, was that so hard?" Max asked me, crossing his arms.

"N-No..." I replied back.

"Great Max!, I think you broke him!" Nick said looking at Max and not looking in front of him.

Suddenly someone ran into Nick, causing Nick to fall backwards.

Nick fell to the floor, dropping his bag making a couple of his books fall out.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Let me help you up." A male voice said kneeling down in front of Nick, helping him collect his books.

(You guys have watched the crafting dead, right?)

"T-Thanks.." Nick stuttered.

Max and I stood there with smirks on our faces.

Looks, like Nick finally found someone. Now we don't have to listen to his bottle cap stories all the time!

The male stranger got up then held his hand out for Nick. Nick took his offer and stood up.

The male wore some sort of green and black scarf around his mouth, making only his green eyes, black hair, and nose visible.
He wore a black hoodie with army green strips on the edges and ripped jeans.

(It was so hard to make him sound normal. You don't even know! XD)

"Again, I'm so sorry for bumping into you. My name is Ghetto." Ghetto said and smiled at Nick.

"I-It's no problem!....Heheheh...M-M-My name is....uh....It's no problem!...heheheheh...I-I uh-

"His name is Nick." I said, saving Nick.

"Nick, huh? I like that name. Well, I hope we see eachother soon." Ghetto said, running off.

I turned back to Nick to see him just standing there holding his bag, blushing like crazy.

Ghetto's POV

Man, he looked cute. Even when he couldn't say his name.

(I know, short but I still wanted to add his POV)

Cory's POV

"Looks like you found yourself a boyfriend, ay Nick?" Max said grinning at Nick.

"S-Shut up! Can w-we go now?" Nick asked impatiently.

"OMI, Nick is right! Let's go love strucks!" Max said running down the hall.

"Hey! We aren't love struck!" Nick and I said in union while trying to catch up to Max.
