Shelby's POV

I walk inside the school with the others. I look around to see a lot of familair faces. One caught my eye. I saw Max. He was alone just sketching in his notebook. Why was he alone? Probably cause you BROKE HIS HEART and he has no friends! I know and I feel bad about that can't you see I'm suffering?! Yeah but not enough. Shut up and just listen. I will totally not listen to you! Fine then Shut up! .....

Adam: "See ya guys later"

We waved bye to eachother with smiles on our faces. We all went out in pairs. Barney with Red, Adam with Jin, Ross with one of his pals (I guess you can say he's YourPalRoss. No regrets!), and me with Jess. Soon we went in our own ways to class and before I got to class I speed walked to see if Max was still where he was before. Luckly he was! Here's my chance to say sorry! Unless he coldly rejects you which he probably will! No he won't! I t-think. Ha! See you don't even know him so whats the point? I-I. Just accept the fact tha-. I lOvE Him! ..... And thats a fact. I walk towards him but a lot of people kept pushing me to get to class. It was hard to see him through the people walking but I knew where he was. I pushed through the people and I finally was 5 steps away from Max! He couldn't see me though because too many people were walking in between us. I took one step closer and as I was about to open my mouth Jess walked in front of me making me jump a little.

Jess: "Hey Shelby I forgot to tell you that I'm having a sleep over at my house with the guys! I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

Shelby: "Sure I would love to!"

Jess: "Oh and can you invite Ross too? I barley see him in the school"

Shelby: "Sure!"

Jess: "See ya tonight!"

Shelby: "Bye!"

As Jess walks away I look in front of me to see that Max was no longer there. I looked around to see a lot of people around me. I pushed through them and saw no sign of Max. After a few minutes of looking I sighed then went to class.

Sorry Max is what I wanna say if I have the chance.

Cory's POV

Uni hasn't talked to me since yesterday! I'm getting worried about him. Even though he said we are not brothers anymore I still feel like he is. All I said was that I forgot. I look down and sigh knowing that he wouldn't forgive me.

????: "Cory? Is that you?"

I look up and turn to fack a brown haired boy. He wore a sweater that had a giant M on it.

Cory: "Nick! It's so good to see you!"

I gave him a hug and smiled to see my childhood friend. Well actually my first friend...ever!

~Flashback~ (bold letters are cory narrating)

It was when I was in pre-school it was nap time. Everyone was asleep but me while the teachers were doing who knows what. Thats when I heard someone crying. I sit up and try to find the kid that was crying. My eyes landed on a kid that was facing the wall. I was gonna go see what was wrong but the teachers beat me to it. One saw me sitting up and told me to go back to sleep. The next day a kid started calling me names then laughing. Since I was a shy kid I didn't know how to speak up. I was actually holding back tears.

????: "Hey stop calling him names!"

The kid bullying me turned around now facing another boy. I realized that it was the crying kid from yesterday.

Bully: "You think I'll listen to you? Zombie face!"

Da teacha: "Thats a mean thing to say Maxwell! Say sorry and come with me" *leaves to her desk*

He glared at me then at the other boy.

Maxwell: "You're lucky that you're safe...for now"

I saw him and his two friends walk away to the teacher's desk. I look back at the boy that was crying from yesterday. I still had watery eyes and a face with fear. He looked at me with an emotionless face and said (who liek Minecraft! Ok no he didn't say that. Sorry I just had to I gave myself the chance to do that)

Nick: "Hi my name is Nick! I hope we can be friends!"

His emotionless face turned into a smile on his face. I was still scared cause I never had a friend. I just wanted to run for my life and never come back but I knew it would be rude to not respond back.

Cory: "H-Hi my n-name is C-Cory"

Nick: "Hi Cory! I'm sorry if I scared you I just didn't like what he was doing to you"

My fear was fading away but I still had a bit of fear but also happiness slowly blocking out my fear.

Cory: "It's ok. Thanks for standing up to me. Why were you crying yesterday by the way?"

Nick: "You're welcome! I was crying because my teddy bear wasn't with me. But I found him on my bed. So do you want to be friends?"

Cory: "Sure!"

That was the day I learned to stand up for myself and others.

Flashback over

Nick: "Cory....Cory....CORY!"

Cory: "Huh wha?"

Nick: "You spaced out"

Cory: "Oh sorry dude. How've ya been?"

Nick: "Great actually! So how have you and Uni been?"

I look down at the floor with a worried look on my face then I sighed. I'm guessing Nick noticed.

Nick: "Uh Cory? Something you're not telling me here?"

I sighed once again then looked back at Nick. As I was about to open my mouth to speak I see Uni and his "friends" walk past us. I'm guessing Nick noticed I was looking at something so he turned around to see Uni and his  "friends" talking. Uni shot me a glare and turned away. I kinda noticed that he had a dark blue streak of hair in between his normal blue colored hair. It looked kinda weird to me.

Nick: "Ok you got some explaining to do"

After I told him the whole story he seemed shocked.

Nick: "Wow Cory you really messed up big time"

Cory: "I know and I feel terrible"

Thats when something hit me. I re-thinked everything giving Nick the chance to talk even though I wasn't listening to a single word he said.

The boy.....the bully.....Maxwell ..... there's no way. I can't believe it. I won't believe it. It can't be him. Could it? I need proof before I jump into conclusions. I need a picture of him to identify if they are both the same person.

Nick: "Coryyyyy. You're spacing out on me again. Why are you spacing out a lot. Have you been doing that lately?"

I suddenly felt a wave of pain goes through my brain. I can't mix memory's with other memory's. It mixs some of it into one memory that isn't really a memory..... I think.

Cory: "It hurts...."

Nick: "What? Cory speak louder"

Cory: "I just said I have a headache"

Nick: "You should go to the nurse then"

Cory: "Nah I'll be fine. It isn't that bad anyway"

Nick: "Oh ok... I guess I'll see you later"

Cory: "Ok. See ya Nick"

I walk away still thinking about my theory. I slightly twitch because of mixing up my memory's.

I need to find out soon or I'll have mixed memory's everywhere in my head. Is it him? Was he the bully?
