Kanan P.O.V
It was almost time for lights out. Me and Hera were in the common room talking, drinking are coffee's when we herd the door open.

We look in the detection and seen Ezra standing at the door. "Hey Kanan, Hera could I go out for a few minutes?" He asked us. "Ezra it's nearly time for lights out. It's nearly 12" Hera told him.

"Please. Just for a few minutes" he begged us. I sighed. "Be back in 10 minutes" I told him. He nodded and ran out.

Only thing is, he was out for nearly 3 hour's. I stayed up untill he came in while Hera went to get some rest. I was waiting at the ramp when I seen my padawan come.

"Ezra where in the galaxy have you been" I asked with anger. "I'm sorry Kanan. I didn't realise the time" Ezra told me. No way is he thinking that there isn't going to be any consequence.

"Because you stayed up so late and didn't come back untill 3 in the morning, you will have to have light's out by 9" I told him. "What. No Kanan" Ezra begged. I gave him a stern look. "Now go to your room. It's late" I told him.

"Fine then" Ezra said as I watched him enter the ship. As I made my way to my room, there was one question in my head. What was Ezra doing out so late?

*Time skip to 2 weeks later*

It's been 2 week's since Ezra first went out and the incident repeated itself. Ezra would ask to go out, we would tell him to be back soon and he would come back really late, sometimes he doesn't come back till the next morning.

I would stay up till he came back and let's just say, I'm tired. I stay up really late untill Ezra came back an most of the time I would fall asleep.

Right now, me and Hera were in the cockpit talking about missions. As we talked, Ezra came in. "Hey Ezra" I said. He only waved. "Ezra you look exhausted. Have you been getting any sleep" Hera asked him.

"No not really" he yawned. "In that case you should go to bed, we have a mission in a few day's and I don't want you to loose focuse and get yourself shot" Hera told him. Ezra nodded and left to get some more sleep.

I looked at Hera and she looked at me. We both smirked. "We're following him aren't we" Hera asked. "Of course we are. We have to find out what he is doing when he leaves" I told her. "Okay let's do that tonight" Hera said.

*skip to later that night*

Me and Hera were in the common room talking when Ezra came in again, probably going to ask if he could go out again. "Hey here, Kanan could I go do something outside for a few minutes" Ezra asked us.

"Okay but don't be late this time" Hera told him with consirn. "I won't" he said as he ran out of the ship. "Now do we follow him?" Hera asked me. I turned to her with a smirk. "Yeah let's go before he runs off to far" I too her as we both stood up.

We walked out of the ship and looked over the field's of Lothal to see nothing but the wind blowing the grass. "Where could he have gone" I asked myself. "Let's just keep walking and see if we can find something" Hera suggested.

"Yeah that could be a good start" I mummbled as we began to walk. As we walked through the grass, we spoke. "What do you think he would be doing out so late?" Hera asked me. "I have no idea. Even though the kid has been with us for a long time, that dosen't mean we know alot about him" I told her.

As we walked, we herd something. Like as if something was coming closer to us. Then there was another sound, like a dog growling. Before we could say anything, I Lothwolf jumped out of the tall grass.

"Oh no" Hera mummbled to herself. As I went to reach for my blaster, the wolf growled, obviously not wanting me to take out my wepon. "Kanan what now?" Hera whispered to me. "Just back away slowly" I told her as I took a steep back.

We started walking backwards, not taking are eye's off the creature incause it decides to attack. As we made are way backwards, I turned to Hera to see how far she was. "Kanan look out" Hera yelled.

I turned around only to see that lothwolf jump right at me. I was able to jump back before it could attack me but that doesn't mean it stopped trying.

The wolfgrowled as it tried to swip at me. Luckly, I was able to pull out my blaster and shot at the beast, that was untill a blue blade deflected the shot.

I looked up to see a very upset Ezra, with his blue lightsaber in hand. "Don't shoot her" Ezra told them, making Hera and I have confused looks.

"Ezra where have you been, and why are you defending this thing it tried to kill me" I asked him. He sighed and deactivated his wepon. "I've been going out alot because I was seeing a old friend" he told us as he pointed to the wolf behind him, who still didn't look like it liked us.

"Wait so you have been staying up late to hang out with a wolf?" Hera asked the boy. "Yeah. If it wasn't for this wolf, I would have been bead long ago". "What dose that mean?" I asked.

"Well year's ago, when my parents were taken away, I was teaching myself how to pickpocket people but let's just say I tried pickpocketing people and two troopers spotted me" Ezra started.

"I ran away from them and ran out to the fileds of Lothal with them right behind me. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and fell over a stupid rock. The troopers were about to shoot at me when Creideamh came. She scared them off and left. Over the week's, anytime I was in trouble, she would could come along and help. Soon, she helped me with things and we became friend" he explained to us.

"So this is why you've been sneaking out" I said. He nodded. "I'm sorry i didn't tell you guys and sorry about coming back supper late" he explained. I sighed. "It's fine. As long as we know where you are we'll let you out. Now come on let's get back to the ship, we have a mission tommrow and we all need the rest" Hera said as she started walking.

"Okay. Bye Creideamh. I'll see you next time" I herd Ezra say to his unusual friend. And just like that, the lothwolf was gone. As we made are way back to the ghost I spoke. "Next time we go out tell us where your going nextime okay" I told Ezra. "I will. I'll tell you next time" Ezra told me.

I'm so so so so so so so so sorry for not updating in like 5 day's. I just wasn't feeling well and I was to tired to write. Also I am sad because I have to go down to Wexford to see my cousin but the only thing is is that there is no Wi-Fi. That means I can't watch star wars rebels Twin Suns this weekend 😭😭😭
