A bit early I know, but I like to pretend that someone asked why Shi can talk to Pokémon now.

     Shi was running through the forest her breath coming in short ragged gasps. Terror seized her, she looked back to see if the starly was following her. She ended up falling on her rump when she ran into a levitating Pokémon. It was blue and yellow.

     "Whatareyou!?!" Shi screeched.

     "I am Uxie. The knowledge Pokémon. Why are you here trainer?" Uxie spat the word trainer like it was the vilest insult imaginable.

     "..." Shi passed out.

     "Good riddance I can't go visit my sister anymore without a trainer trying to catch me. I'll just make her forget she even saw me." Uxie talked to himself. The psychic forced Shi's eyes open then opened his own. Erasing all of Shi's memories.

     "I over did it again. Fine I'll just give her an ability to make up for it. I'll give her the ability to learn what all trainers wish to know the most." Uxie waved his hand over Shi's face then floated off.
