So...I assume the everyone reading this already knows about the TM characters but I'm not so sure about CCS and I don't really know where to put it in the story so I'm just gonna do this to explain about a few things about some characters that I won't be able to in the actual story.
1. Ly Syaoran ( or Shaoran, Shaoron,Xiao liang... there's a million ways to spell his name)(not to be confused with Syaoran or "Syaoran")

He used to be Sakura's rival from Hong Kong in basically anything from school to magic(including "that thing") and I'm pretty sure he has shot at her plenty of murderous glares. He hated Sakura to the point that whenever he complements her (espesially the first season), we, as the audience knows that something is wrong. But Sakura being Sakura turns him into one of her friends and unintentionally making him slowly fall in love with her(like she always does with her "enemies").
Syaoran is a blood decendant of Clow Reed(I'll be talking about that guy later) so it makes him very powerful from the beginning. At first, he only seek for the Clow Cards(I'll get to that later) to raise his power level but after a certain event, changes his goal.
He is one of the 3 tsunderes in the series(tsundere here being just hard on the out side and soft on the inside, the love part is... optional) the other 2 being Touya and Yue and maybe Chiharu(one of Sakura's friends) but not really.
And a little bit about Syaoran's family wich won't appear in the story besides maybe a reference but I love them too much 😂 so just watch these

My favourite thing about this guy is how many attempts it took(like this one) for him to successfully confess to Sakura.

Syaoran's name litterally translates to little wolf which is mae fun of in the TRC series.
Looks like Cu's got a new friend...a bunch actually.

3. Daidouji Tomoyo

Sakura's best friend and her 2nd cousin. Tomoyo is actually in love with Sakura

C'mon, how can you not love her😂😂
But I'll be the first person to admit that Tomoyo has her fair share of straight-up creepy moments

The original Yandere face right here ...also, this is her first scene in the anime⬆⬆⬆⬆
As creepy as she is, Tomoyo is still a very important person to Sakura. The proof is that despite not having any magical powers(she has 4th wall breaking though), if it weren't for her, Sakura would've failed very early on and if Tomoyo goes missing, Sakura will instantly cry.
Tomoyo is the best singer there too

3. Clow Reed and Hiiragizawa Eriol

Clow is the creator of the original Clow Cards(now Sakura Cards), he isn't actually the 2nd most powerful magician in the world(after Sakura of course)...no, that would be a big understatement. The guy can vialate one of the most basic laws of the friggin' the MULTIVERSE with his stray thought...yeah. To get a sense of scale, someone less powerful than him could destroy and remake the multiverse with good planning and alot of space(and time) traveling.Also he's a lazy guy.(keep in mind that Sakura is still more powerful than him)

Eriol is 1/2 of Clow's reincarnation and thus, has Clow's memories and power. Despite looking like he's as old as Sakura, he is really about as old as her father(wich is around 40+ years old).
Despite being very wise and mature, both of them are quite the troll:
-Clow you can just tell through how Yuuko calls him a "creep" and "tricky man in glasses"(I pefer the Vietnamese translation where Yuuko calls him "4 eyed devil" instead).
-For Eriol...well...

But seriously, Sakura, Syaoran, you guys are supposed to be smarter than this. –_–
Also, Chesire Cat Eriol straight-up said that he's actually pretty mischevious(but Sakura still doesn't get the hint)

4. The cards and their guardians

The 53 Sakura Cards are powerful, reality warping spirits each with their own unique abilities and personalities. They are also capable of raising their user's power level.
The most powerful card is the HOPE card, which is as powerful as the 52 other card combined. Her powers however, are still a myster-

Kero is the Beast of the Seal, representing the sun. Although he doesn't have to eat to survive, he still puts a ridiculous amount of food (espesially sweets)in his mo-wait...now that I have actually written this down...why does this sound so familiar? Anyways, this is why he is sometimes called a greedy/glutinous little pig by Sakura, his roomate/care taker/master/...

Yue is the other guardian, representing the moon, Kero's brother. He is the only person that Sakura couldn't get to call her by name, he's too stubborn and always call her "master" instead.Because he repesents the moon wich shines by reflecting light, he has to rely on his master to keep him from disappearing. His personality...well...that face sums up almost everything. Yue's "false form" is a completely separate person named Tsukishiro Yukito.

5. Sakura's family
I'll let her introduce them

So her father is very close to Sakura and her brother obviously and that's pretty much it for him. And he's also the other half of Clow's reincarnation in the manga.
Sakura's big brother is EXTREMELY overprotective of his little sister ever since their mother died. He has what is described by Yukito as  "little sister complex". He changes his part-time jobs just to keep an eye out for Sakura and he's the only SakuraxSyaoran hater. He gives in at the end tho.

He says that as her older brother, he is the only one who has the rights to tease her. He's also in a relationship with Yukito.
The bromance!😆😆

Her mother, Nadeshiko married at 16 and died at 27, leaving her family members, espesially her grandfather and her cousin(aka Tomoyo's mom) to blame Sakura's father for being the responsible for Nadeshiko's untimely death(wich is complete 🐂💩).
Something I find funny is that one of the cards, WOOD was found and "captured" in Sakura's house and her whole family's names are floral-based.
6. Kinomoto Sakura(not to be confused with Sakura or "Sakura")

Ahhh yes the one and ONLY Cardcaptor (No! Just collecting Clow Cards doesn’t make you a Cardcaptor, you must be acknowledged by the Beast of The Seal to be a Cardcaptor, Cardcraptors😠)

There's Sakura and Syaoran's first date which is my #1 fav scene in the whole series so far but I'm reaching the limit so....;-;

In an AU, Sakura(still a kid) is the founder and manager of CLAMP-net.com while Syaoran here is...still in school.
Sakura and Syaoran are litteral soulmates and are as cannon as a cannon couple can be

She's afraid of ghosts thanks to her onii-chan
Her birth day is on April Fools(Just like any other major character that has a birth day in CLAMP's works -_-)
She litterally praises EVERYBODY, including her enemies
Sakura's catch phrase is "Hoe"(not to be confused with a gardening tool)
Sakura has a "floaty mode" which makes her 10 times cuter. You'll know when she is in that state when Sakura starts going:

*Fangirl scream* CUTENESS OVERLOAD!! *Faints*

Ok, where was I? Ahh yes..?
She has a ton of costumes provided by the one and only Tomoyo(*cough*Unlimited costume works*cough*). She has so much costumes that...and I am not making this up, the ccs wiki has an entire part dedicated to list out all of the costumes that she wears in the anime.
She shares the same voice actor as Nero and Jack, UMU

And this beautiful fanart covers a good chunk of  Sakura's (and Syaoran's) costumes that she wears throughout the entire Clow and Sakura card arcs(official art too)

Note: the two on the far left are not the same people as the other Sakuras and Syaorans.
Another thing that I recently noticed was her assossiation with cats. I mean, she got chased by a cat twice(and thrice if you count Kero's true form as a big cat) in the series😺. I know, I always pay attention to these kinds of details for some reason😹
She also has a pair of cat slippers and a cat costume too(that was actually the same episode that Sakura meets Syaoran 💕)

7, Ichihara Yuuko and the two Mokona

Yuuko is the dimensional witch who owns a shop that sells wishes. She has a wacky(and lazy) personality, a love for collecting treasures and she loves her sake

Where's White Mokona in that? Well... Mokona's...else where

The two Mokona, their full names are Mokona Modoki and Mokona Modoki. They rarely use their actual names which are Larg(black Mokona) and Soel(white Mokona). Pyuu~
And if you are wondering, the plural for Mokona is Mokona.
All three of these characters does not show up in CCS, they are from Tsubasa reservoir chronicle(TRC for short) and it's sister series XXXHolic which are both directly related to CCS.
