🏍 Rebel - 3 🏍

Revving my bike I look at my brother. "If you can beat me home. I'll stay away from the club, but if I win. You will loosen the rope you want me attached to deal."

Brody puts his wrist up to his mouth and talks into his watch. "What do you reckon, boys? Should we make the deal with our sister?"

"No," they say in unison.

I peel out of the driveway anyway and head home. I swerve in and out of the cars all the way home.

My brother is trying his best to catch up with me despite the traffic on the road.

Up ahead I see a car accident with the police, fire brigade and ambulances there.

I'm not going to get home that way. I'll have to use the short cut that will take me through the park.

Brody won't be able to catch up to me now. He shakes his head as I ride my bike through the park. Once I'm out of the park I pull back onto the road.

A red light stops me on the main road and I wait for it to turn green. When it's green I speed through the streets of Los Angeles until I reach my house.

I pull the bike into the garage and kick out the stand.

The garage door opens and I see Trenton, Jesse and Reign standing at the door. All of them have their arms folded across their chest wearing the same expression.

"What?" I ask them as I make my way to the house.

"We told you not to race home."

I shrug. "I chose to ignore you. Just like you four do to me daily. "

Reign takes a step forward and towers over me. "We're trying to protect you, Taylan. You're making that hard for us when you run off with bikers."

I shove my brother. "I'm not running off with anyone. My bike got scratched up because the biker wanted to know who owned it. That's it."

Trenton shakes his head. "I don't think that's it, Taylan. We've known you your whole life and we think that you're interested in the President of the MC."

Brody eventually makes it to the house. He walks over to me. "We seriously need to talk about that stunt you just pulled."

I walk over to the couch and take a seat. "I don't think we need to talk about that brother. If we have to sit down and talk about who I'm dating then I won't be able to start a family when the time comes. All I can say is you can't help who you fall in love with." Looking at my four brothers I say. "When you fall in love there's nothing anyone can do about it."

Reign moves over to the couch and sits next to me. He looks around the room at our brothers. "It's time that we let Taylan have some freedom and fall in love. God help us when we meet the man that she's got her finger wrapped around."

Brody shakes his head. "Just as long as it's not one of the Motorcycle Club members. We don't need to be associating with those kinds of people."

"I have a job and I'll be seeing them from time to time."

Trenton crosses his arms. "Who are you working for?"

"Hunter at the Dragon Tattoo Pallor."

"No, you're not." All four of my brothers yell in unison.

"Yes, I am. I'm going to be the receptionist and take phone calls and walk-ins."

Jesse moves over to the hand rest on the couch and sits next to me. "That place is going to attract so much bad attention. We're only trying to protect you, Taylan. If something happens to you we won't be able to forgive ourselves. When Mom died we promised her we would take care of you."

"Mom, also knew there would be a time that you four would need to let me go." Standing up I point at Reign first. "You taught me how to gamble. That lesson will come in handy for me one day." Then I point at Brody. "You taught me how to fire a gun." At Jesse I say. "You taught me how to flirt. I still have to put that to the test when I do I hope it gets me out of trouble." Then I point at my twin brother. "You taught me how to fight. Learning that skill has saved my life a bunch of times." Pulling my phone out of my pocket I order the pizzas, garlic bread and soft drink. "Pizza will be here in forty minutes."

My brothers start talking about their day and I manage to slip away from them.

Opening the door to my bedroom I walk inside and close the door. I lift my shirt over my head and look at the bandage covering my arm from the new tattoo I got.

There's a knock on the bedroom door. "Come in."

The door opens and Brody walks in. He looks at. "So, you've been adding new ink to your body."

"Yes," Looking at the door I say. "Are you going to tell the others?"

He shakes his head. "Nah, they'll find out soon enough." He moves over to my double bed with the LA Lakers quilt cover. "I know you're not going to take my advice on this, but if you're going to hang around the motorcycle club please be careful. I've seen the type of trouble those guys attract and I don't want you to be in the middle of it."

"I'm not going to be in any sort of trouble. All I'm going to do is work for Hunter in the shop and that's it. There's no way that I will be going to the clubhouse for drinks every evening and becoming friends with them."

But it might happen if Ajax keeps coming to the tattoo parlour and asking me out.

I grab a tank top from the top draw and put it on. "Do you want a beer?"

"Sure," Brody opens the door and we walk back to the living room where Jesse and Trenton are tackling each other.

"If you break anything in my house you will be buying it," I tell them.

"Whatever," Jesse says. "Most of the shit in this place is cheap or fake."

"It's still my fake, cheap shit, brother. It's not like I go to your place and destroy that poster of yours."

He looks up from the ground. "What poster are you talking about?"

"Ah, the one of you wearing the football gear without a shirt on and small shorts that shows how big your package is."

His mouth drops open. "You've seen that picture?"

I nod. "I needed a pen and the only place you keep them is in your office."

Jesse's face pales.

Shit! My brothers didn't know about that picture.

Jesse stands up. "I didn't want you all to know about that picture. My agent told me it would look good on my resume having a picture like that taken."

My brothers start laughing.

Looking at Jesse. I mouth. "Sorry,"
