Ch. 5
Jaelyn
I woke up the next morning with a massive hangover. I sat up on the couch. I groaned, grabbing my head.
"Morning, beautiful," I hear Marcel. I look up, seeing Marcel. "Hi, I have a massive hangover," I said, grabbing my head.
"Here, take these. It should help," he said, giving me ibuprofen and a mug of coffee. "Oh coffee, best hangover cure," I said, taking them.
Marcel sat next to me. "I agree," Marcel said, sitting next to me. "Where's Fabian?" I asked. "Mattina, Jaelyn. Come stai?" Fabian asked in Italian.
"Mattina, mi pulsa la testa," I said, in Italian. "Oh ouch. You guys drank too much again, didn't you," Fabian said.
"We did but we didn't hook up," Marcel said. "True," I said, drinking more coffee. Fabian sits on the chair drinking his coffee.
"So are you two just friends or hooking up again?" Fabian asked. "Just friends. She's still married to Fergal and they're separated at the moment," Marcel said.
"Separated? Again? Last time you and Fergal separated, you and Marcel hooked up. And you and Fergal got back together and stayed together? Is history repeating itself?" Fabian asked.
"Okay, calm down. We're just friends. We decided to just be friends, nothing else," Marcel said, drinking his coffee.
I sat mine down on the coffee table. "Where's your restroom?" I asked. "Upstairs onto your left," Marcel said.
"Thank you," I said, getting up and heading upstairs. I got to the restrooms and shut the door.
Marcel
Jaelyn headed upstairs to use the restrooms. "What do you think of her?" I asked. "She's cool. I'm very impressed with her Italian, now I see why you have a crush on her," he said.
I nodded. "I mean, we're just friends right now. However, we can keep up a conversation unlike my ex," I said.
"Marcel, why are you hanging out with a married woman again? Especially hanging out with Jaelyn, who's technically still married to Fergal, the current NXT Champion. Last time you two hung out, you two got drunk and hooked up. Then she stopped talking to you and went back to her husband. We confronted him and you called her a whore because she ignored you. What's different this time?" Fabian asked.
"Jaelyn and Fergal are separated at the moment. She feels like Fergal's been secretly seeing someone. And he moved out on his own. Jaelyn and I are just friends. You know I always had the biggest crush on her, before I ever signed with WWE and I still do. I don't want her to know that I have a crush on her," I said.
"Well, if you have a crush on her, you need to tell her before she goes back to Fergal just in case she does. If you find out that she took him back, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna call her names again in the storyline?" he asked.
"I don't know," I said. "If you don't tell and she tells you that she told Fergal back, I will say "Told you so". Hear me?" he asked, looking at me.
I looked at him, sighing. I hear the door opening and feet coming down the stairs. Jaelyn sits down on the couch.
"Hey, everything okay??" I asked. "Yeah, I just need to use the restroom. I thought I needed to throw up but I'm okay," she said.
"That's good," I said. Jaelyn nodded, checking her phone. "Got somewhere to be, Jaelyn?" Fabian asked.
Jaelyn shook her head. "No, I don't. My kids are with their dads for the weekends. I should head home and go back to sleep," she said.
"I'll take you home," I said. Jaelyn nodded, getting her boots on. I got up, grabbing my key.
Jaelyn stood up, getting her stuff. "I guess I'll see you at NXT Fabian," she said. "Yeah, have a good weekend, Jaelyn," he said, smiling at her.
Jaelyn and I headed out the door. Jaelyn waited for me. I shut the door. Jaelyn nodded, as we got to my car.
I opened the door. "Thank you," she said. "You're welcome," I said, shutting her door. I went to the driver's side and got in.
"Nice car," she said. "Oh thank you. It's my first car I got in the United States," I said. "It's very nice," she said.
"What kind of car do you drive?" I asked, pulling out of the parking lot. "Lexus SUV. I use it because I have kids," she said.
"Oh that's good. Some parents use minivans but you don't?" I asked. "Nah. I'm very different from most moms," she said.
"Are you a cool mom?" I asked. "I wish but I do discipline my kids like I take privileges away or ground them or put them in time out or as I call it penalty box like in hockey games," she said.
"Do you swat your kids like when our generations' parents did?" I asked. "No, but a little slap on the hand and talking to them in a calm voice and with a serious look," she said.
"Oh okay. Well, that's good. Are your kids well behaved?" I asked. "They are. I don't know how my mom raised twin daughters and one son seven years before I was born," she said.
"That's kind of what you're doing. Raising three kids whilst coparenting with their dads, right?" I asked.
"Right. Then seven years later they had me and my twin sister, who I just met recently, and gave up my twin sister for adoption and kept me," she said.
"I think you told me that last night," I said. "Oh, I think I was too drunk last night to remember what I said," she said.
I nodded as I sped up a little bit. "Yeah," I said. "What did you and Fabian talk about?" she asked.
"Oh just guys stuff. We were speaking in German," I lied. "Oh okay. Good thing I don't know much German," she said.
"Well, Fabian's impressed with your Italian," I said. "Oh, tell him thank you for me," she said, smiling.
"Oh I will," I said, smiling. Jaelyn grabbed her phone, checking it. "Sorry, Fergal texted me," she said.
"Is everything okay?" I asked. "Yeah, Fergal wants to take the twins to LegoLand for the day. Because Fergal loves Legos," she said.
"Oh that sounds fun for him," I said. "Yeah, I told him he's okay to take the twins to LegoLand for the day," she said.
"That's good," I said. "Yeah. I have a question," she said. "Okay," I said. "Would you ever date a woman who has kids?" she asked.
"Um.. I would but I want kids of my own one day," I said. Jaelyn nodded. "Okay. I hope you find someone that's willing to give you kids," she said.
Later
Jaelyn
Marcel pulled up to my driveway, parking the car. "Well, thank you for hanging out last night. It was fun," I said.
"I'm glad you had fun. I'll see you Monday at the Performance Center?" Marcel asked. "Yeah, you will. Thanks again," I said, smiling.
"You're welcome, beautiful. Hopefully we get to hangout again soon," he said, smiling. I opened the passenger door, getting out.
"Hopefully. See you Monday," I said, smiling. "See you," he said, smiling. I shut the door, heading to my house.
I put in my code to disarm the alarm so I can unlock it. I unlocked the door, opening it. I looked at Marcel as he waited for me.
I waved at him to make sure I was okay. Marcel waves and pulls out of my driveway. I shut the door, going inside and closing the door.
I put my code in and turned the alarm back on. I locked the door, heading upstairs to my room. I yawned, taking my hoodie off.
I set my stuff on the floor, setting my phone down. I sat down, taking my makeup off since I slept in it and taking my hair down.
I went to my bed, grabbing my phone. I laid down on my bed, looking at my phone. I looked at some pictures I took of me and Marcel having fun at the bar.
I smiled at them. I'm glad that I hung out with him again. However, I still have Fergal on my mind, remembering the good time I had with him.
I set my phone down on my charger. I covered up, getting comfortable. My phone vibrated. I checked it.
I see a text from Marcel. 'I'm glad you had a good time last night. See you Monday, beautiful. <3'
I smiled, replied; 'Me too. Talk to you later, bye', sending the text. I sat my phone down, closing my eyes.
Wednesday
I am at the Performance Center. Tonight is the day I make my in-ring return to the ring. I am excited and ready for it.
I am facing Io Shirai in a non-title match as my return match. I have new gear, new hair color and I'll be wearing my mask to protect my nose from getting injured again.
I am in the dressing room. I see Io coming in. "Hi, Jaelyn, ready for your return match tonight?" Io asked.
"I am. It's going to be an honor to face you tonight in my in-ring return match," I said. "Thank you. Just so you know. I might push you to the limit or vice versa," she said.
I nodded, getting up. "Well, I'm gonna go and rehearse for my entrance," I said, heading out. Io nodded.
"See you in our match," Io said. "See you in the ring," I said, headed to the arena. I walked to the arena, looking at the mat.
I walked around the area, looking up. I am getting nervous. I walked towards the ring, touching it.
I got in the ring, touching the ropes. I feel like I am returning home after being injured for a few months.
"Hey, Jae," I hear Fergal.I look over, seeing Fergal getting in the ring. "Hey Ferg," I said, smiling.
"Ready for your in-ring return tonight?" he asked. "Ready but nervous. It's my first match since I broke my nose and broke an orbital bone above my cheek," I said.
"Well, don't be nervous. You will do great," he said. "How do you feel about me not managing you anymore?" I asked.
"I'm gonna miss having you by my side outside the ring. But it's time for a change, you've been by my side since we returned to NXT and I am grateful. I know you are gonna do amazing and great. I will be watching backstage being the proud husband that I could be," he said.
"Thank you, Fergal," I said, smiling. "You're welcome," he said, smiling. He and I hugged each other.
I pulled away from Fergal. "Well, I better rehearse for my entrance," I said, getting out of the ring and heading up the entrance ramp and heading to the back.
I see Marcel standing there. "Hey, beautiful," Marcel said, smiling. My face lit up as I saw him, smiling at him.
"Hey," I said, walking to him. We hugged each other. "Ready for your in-ring return tonight?" Marcel said.
"Ready but nervous for my in-ring return. I hope I don't screw this up," I said. "It's okay to be nervous. It's part of wrestling. I know you will do great. I'll be watching backstage, quietly cheering you on," he said.
I nodded, smiling. "That makes me feel better," I said. "That's good," he said, side hugging me. I smiled softly, sighing.
"Jae," Regal said. "Yes, Mr. Regal," I said. "Ready to rehearse your new entrance with your theme?" Regal asked.
"Yeah, if you guys are ready," I said. "Okay," Regal said, heading to the ring. "Well, I better start rehearsing," I said.
"Okay. See you later," Marcel said, walking away. I nodded, smiling. "Okay, let's play Jae Bella's theme song," Regal said.
I walked over to the stairs that lead to the entrance. I took a deep breath, saying a little prayer.
I bowed my head, sighing. "Amen," I whispered. Gasoline by Porcelain Black plays, rushing up the stairs.
