Ch. 3

Friday

Jaelyn

Tonight, I am hanging out with Marcel as a friend. I have no idea what we're gonna do together as friends.

I got Bridgette to school today. The twins are at daycare. I'm gonna drop the twins off at Fergal's new apartment.

He's at the Performance Center. I decided to go to another gym. I am walking on the treadmill to work on my cardio.

I am playing my music, listening to Black Veil Brides. I look in the mirror, seeing Marcel. He took off his shirt.

"Oh my," I said. Marcel turned around, seeing me. I gasped, looking away as I continued to power walk on it.

"Hey, Jaelyn," I see Bryson. "Hey, Bryson. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Just checking on you. There's someone I want you to meet," he said.
"Okay. Let me finish up here and I'll come meet them," I said to Bryson.

Bryson nodded, walking away.

A few minutes later, I finished walking on the treadmill. I went to see Bryson to meet someone.

I took a drink of my water. "Hey, Bryson," I said.

"Hey, Jaelyn," Bryson said. "So where's this person you want me to meet?" I asked.

"She's right here," Bryson said. I see a girl with dark brown hair. "Hi," I said.

"Jaelyn, this is my friend Gracie. Gracie, meet my baby mama, Jaelyn," I said.

"Nice to meet you, Gracie," I said. "You too. Bryson talks about you," Gracie said.

"Oh I bet. Are you guys friends or?" I asked. "Actually, we've been going on dates. However, we are not official. I wanted you to meet her," Bryson said.

"Oh okay. She hasn't met Bridgette, yet?" I asked. "No, I'm not ready for her to meet Bridgette. I wanted you to meet her before I bring her around Bridgette," Bryson said.

"Good idea," I said. "I heard you and Fergal are separated," Bryson said. "Yeah we are. Did Bridgette tell you?" I asked.

"She did. I hope you and Fergal figure it out with your marriage," he said. I nodded.

"Will do. I better go back to my work out. Don't forget to pick Bridgette up from school," I said.

"I won't," he said. "It was nice meeting you, Jaelyn," Gracie said. "You too, Gracie. Keep him in line," I said, jokingly.

"Oh I will," Gracie said, smiling. I smiled back at Gracie. I went back to my workout, putting my airpods back in my ears to finish my workout.

---

I got the twins after the gym, taking them to Fergal's new apartment. He was staying at Chad's house and now he's got his own apartment.

"Mommy. Where are we going?" Irelynd asked. "Going to your daddy's new apartment. It's where you guys will be for the weekends," I said.

Irelynd and FJ nodded. I heard my phone vibrate, it's Fergal calling on the screen. I clicked on it, "Hey, Fergal," I said.

"Hey, Jae. Are you guys on your way?" Fergal said. "Yes, we'll be there in a few minutes. I'm following the GPS direction," I said.

"Okay. See you guys in a bit," Fergal said. "Hi, Daddy!" FJ said. "Hey, buddy. I'll see you guys in a few," Fergal said.

"Love you, daddy," Irelynd asked. "Love you guys, see you soon," Fergal said. "Okay, we'll see you in a minute. Just about to pull up," I said.

"Okay, I see your car pulling up," he said. "Okay, bye," I said. I turned the wheel as I pulled into the parking lot.

"Okay, we're here," I said, shutting the car. I took my seatbelt off, getting out of the car. I see Fergal coming outside.

I opened the backdoor, getting Irelynd out. "Hi. Daddy," Irelynd said. "Hey, baby girl. Let me help you out," Fergal said.

"Thank you," I said, holding Irelynd in my arms. Fergal gets FJ out of his seat. "Hey, buddy," Fergal said.

"Hi, Daddy," FJ said, holding him. I grabbed their bags, shutting the doors. Fergal and I took the kids inside his apartment.

I looked at his new apartment, it's nice inside. "Nice apartment. Looks like the one you had before we moved in," I said.

"Yeah, I decided to move into a similar one. Want to see Irelynd and FJ's new room?" Fergal said, shutting the door.

"Sure," I said. Fergal leads me to Irelynd and FJ's room. It has twin toddler beds in it with a dresser.

"Oh this is a nice room. Got toddler beds for them?" I asked. "Yeah, since they've both climbed out of their cribs," he said.

Fergal continued to show me around his apartment. "Well you have a nice apartment, big enough for all three of you," I said.

"So you got plans?" he asked. "No, not really," I lied. I don't want Fergal to know that I am hanging out with Marcel tonight.

Fergal's still mad at him for calling me a whore, even though it was part of the storyline. "Oh okay," he said.

"I might hangout with Kyle and Miley, but I'm not sure yet," I said. "Okay. I might take Irelynd and FJ to visit Chad and Tina for a bit," Fergal said.

"Cool. By the way, I got to meet my twin sister that I was separated from at birth," I said. "You have a twin sister?" Fergal asked in shock.

"Yeah, I was shocked too. My mom and dad never told me that they got pregnant with twins a second time...," I continue to tell Fergal.

"Wow, that's news. So I have a sister in law," he said. "Actually you have Brie, Nicole, Maya and now Cassidy as sisters-in-laws in," I said, chuckling.

Fergal nodded. "Well I better get going," I said. "Okay. I'll see you Monday when I drop them off," he said.

"Okay. See you Monday," I said, getting up. "I'll walk you out," he said. I nodded as we got up as he walked me out the door.

"Bye, Jae. I love you," Fergal said. "Bye," I said, leaving his apartment. Fergal shut the door behind me.

I went back to my car, driving off. I sighed after he told me that he loves me. I didn't say it back because I don't think I don't love him anymore.

I heard my phone ringing. I clicked on the screen. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey, Jae. This is Cassidy," she said.

"Hey, Cass. How are you?" I asked. "Oh I'm good. What are you up to?" she asked.

"Just dropped the twins at Fergal's house and now I'm driving home," I said. "Oh good," she said.

"I got to see his new apartment. It's very nice. Irelynd and FJ have a room for them to share," I said.

"That's good. How are you driving while talking on the phone?" she asked. "My GPS on my car is also connected to my phone," I said.

"Oh cool. So are you on your way home to get ready?" she asked. "I have some errands to run before I go. Marcel hasn't told me what we're gonna do while we hang out," I said.

"I hope it's something fun to do," she said. "I hope so as well. Plus, I'm not sure what he's like out of character, even though I've hung out with him twice," I said.

"Oh you'll see how different he is out of character," she said. "Well that's true. I better get off the phone, traffic right now," I said.

"Okay, just let me know how your hangout with Marcel goes," she said. "Oh I will. Bye Cass," I said, smiling.

"Bye, Jae," she said. I pushed the button to end the call. I look on, seeing a lot of cars.

"Well, this is gonna be a long ass hour," I whispered.

Two Hours Later

I made it home after the rush hour traffic. I went through the garage, closing it.

I went inside my house, setting stuff on the island in my kitchen. I put all the groceries in their places.

I folded my reusable grocery bags to save plastic because my brother in law Bryan freaks about plastic I waist.

He has no idea that I sometimes reuse them for food, crafts for the kids or school projects that the kids might use with it in the future.

"I don't know how Brie tolerates Bryan being a hippie," I said to myself.

My phone vibrates as I see a text message from Marcel.

'Hey, Schön. Just wear something casual like comfortable clothing'.

I replied; 'Okay. Sounds good. See you later. By the way, what does Schön mean?'

I sent the text. I went to my fridge to get something to snack on after the gym.

I grabbed little beef sticks, setting them down on a towel. I start weighing them, making sure I don't eat too much.

"There we go," I whispered, taking them off the scale. My phone vibrated again.

Marcel replied; 'It's German for Beautiful :) see you later, Schön'. I smiled softly.

I started eating my little beef sticks as I headed upstairs to my bathroom. I sat down on the paper towel with my little beef sticks on the counter.

I grabbed comfortable clothes from my dresser and underwear. I turned my shower on, checking on the water.

---

I took a shower, washed my hair and body. I dried myself off, brushed my hair and blow dried my hair and kept it down for a bit.

I got dressed in black jeans, short sleeve Henley shirt and boots. I put on eyeliner since I didn't wear any while I was at the gym.

I headed downstairs as I heard my phone going off. I got to my phone, seeing that Bryson's calling me.

I answered it. "Hey Bryson," I said. "Hey Jae. I tried calling. Were you busy?" Bryson asked.

"I was in the shower when you called. I'm sorry," I said.

"It's all good. I wanted to let you know I got Bridgette from school," he said. "Oh okay, thank you for picking her up from school," I said.

"No problem. Are you hanging out with a friend? Bridgette told me," he said. "Yeah. He's a friend from NXT. I hung out with him a couple of weeks ago," I said.

"Oh Marcel?" he asked. "Yeah, him," I said. "Okay. By the way, Bridgette got in trouble at school," he said.

"What did she do?" I asked.

"She saw her friend getting bullied by a boy in her class. She tried to get him to leave her friend alone and told her to stay out of it and pushed her and she got back up and started fighting him. The principal told me that she needed to stay home for a week. They have a zero tolerance for fighting and bullying," he said.

"Did the boy get sent home for a week too?" I asked. "Yeah, since he pushed her first as the other students said," he said.

"Good. Did you ground her?" I asked. "No, I didn't. Should I?" he asked. "No, she was defending her friend.

We should be proud that she can defend herself and defend her friend," I said. "That's true. Hopefully she doesn't rebel like her momma," he said, chuckling.

"Well, she already is a rebel like me. She's a junior rebel," I said, laughing.
"Yeah, I just wanted to call you and tell you what happened," he said.

"Okay. Thank you for letting me know," I said. "You're welcome. You have a good night with your friend," he said.

"I will. You guys have a good night as well," I said. "By the way, Bridgette wants to talk to you," Bryson said.

"Okay," I said. "Hi, Momma. I hope you have fun with your friends," Bridgette said.

"Thank you, Bridge. Daddy told me what happened at school. I'm proud of you for defending your friend from that bully," I said.

"Yeah. We both got sent for a week for fighting," she said. "Good thing. Be good and listen to your daddy. I will see you Sunday afternoon," I said.

"I will, Momma. Love you," she said. "Love you too, baby girl. Let me talk to your daddy," I said to Bridgette.

"I'm here," Bryson said. "Let me know when you bring Bridgette home on Sunday so I know," I said.

"I will. See you on Sunday afternoon," Bryson said. "Okay, bye," I said, ending the call.
