Ch. 2
Jaelyn
I got the kids inside the house as it started raining. We are watching the rain. Bridgette's doing her homework.
The twins are playing in their playroom. I am in my office, doing some school work.
I grabbed my phone, looking at my Instagram DMs. I looked at my text messages from Marcel.
Marcel: Hey. How are you?
Jaelyn: I'm good, spending time with my kids. How are you?
Marcel: I keep forgetting you're a mummy. I'm great. That's good. Spending time with your kids is always good. How old are they?
Jaelyn: My oldest is nine and my twins are 16 months old.
Marcel: Your oldest is nine? How so?
Jaelyn: I got pregnant with Bridgette when I was 16 years old. I was still in high school. So yeah, I'm a teen mom. Can I message you later? I have to keep an eye on my kids since we're outside
Marcel: Yeah, sure I can. By the way, what are you doing this Friday?
Jaelyn: My kids will be visiting their dads, so nothing. Why?
Marcel: I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me again just as friends. If not, I totally understand
Jaelyn: Let me think about it.
I started thinking about his question of me and him hanging out again. The first time we hung out, we just went out for coffee as a friend about two weeks ago. We talked non-stop, and conversations lasted about over a few hours.
I put my phone down as I put it on the charger. I headed downstairs, going to the kitchen.
I checked on Bridgette. "How's homework going?" I asked.
"Good. It's a long process of multiplication and division. 10th grade math," Bridgette said.
"I remember that. You have to show your work," she said. "I know. I'm gonna make dinner. What should I make?" I asked.
"Hmm... Surprise me, Mom," Bridgette said. I nodded, opening my fridge. I grabbed a pound hamburger, setting it down.
"I'll make a hamburger helper for you kids with lactose free milk," I said. Bridgette nodded, smiling.
"Sounds good. Mom, who is your friend from NXT?" she asked. "Do you promise not to tell Dad Fergal or your dad?" I asked.
"Promise, Mom," she said. "The friend that's from NXT that I've been talking to. His name is Marcel," I said.
"Marcel? Is the guy that always looks like a sourpuss with Walter?" she asked. "Yeah, that's Marcel. He's a bad guy on TV, however, in person, he's actually a nice, sweet, talkative, respectful and always training non-stop," I said.
"Oh that's good," she said. "Yeah. He wants to hang out with me again as a friend tomorrow," I said.
"Oh?" she asked. "Yeah. Should I say yes to hanging out with him?" I asked. "Mom. you should. You are allowed to have friends, even if he's a guy," she said.
I nodded. "Well let me cook some dinner for you guys," I said. Bridgette nodded as she went back to doing her homework.
Later That Night
My kids and I finished eating dinner. Bridgette's doing the dishes. The twins just had their baths since they got messy while eating macaroni, got their jammies on and got them to bed.
I played the white noise to help them sleep. I went to Bridgette's room to check on her.
"Hey, Mom," Bridgette said. "Hey. Did you finish the dishes?" I asked.
"Yes, they're in the dishwasher now. My homework is all done," she said, showing her folder.
"Can I look at it before putting it in your bag?" I asked. Bridgette nodded, handing me her folder.
I looked at her folder, looking at all of her homework she has to do. "Okay. Good job. Did you read your book?" I asked.
Bridgette shows me her Junie B. Jones book. "Reading it right now," she said.
"Okay. Since you finished your homework and did the dishes, you can stay up until 10pm," I told her.
Bridgette nodded. "Okay, Mom," she said. I nodded, leaving her room.
I slightly shut the door, heading downstairs. I sat down on the couch, turning on the tv.
I heard a knock on the door. I raised my eyebrow. "I wonder who this is," I said.
I went to the door, looking through the peephole. I see a woman standing at the door.
I opened the door, seeing her. "Hello?" I asked.
"Hi, are you Jaelyn Colace-Garcia?" she asked. "Yes, this is her. Who's asking?" I asked.
"My name is Cassidy. I'm your fraternal twin sister," Cassidy said. I looked at her, confused.
---
I invited Cassidy into my house. We are talking about how we are separated at birth.
"So, we're twin sisters? How's that possible?" I asked. "Yeah, my parents told me that I actually have a twin sister. We got separated because your parents were having marriage problems so they decided to keep you, so they placed me for adoption," Cassidy said.
"When did your parents tell you that you were a twin?" I asked. "Last year. I was watching NXT and I saw you and I was like why does she look familiar. I saw your last name was Colace. I asked my parents and they remembered your mom. That's when they told me that I have a fraternal twin sister, separated at birth," she said.
I looked at her, remembering something. "My parents never told me I was a twin," I said.
"Huh? That's weird," she said. "What's your last name when your parents adopted you?" I asked.
"It was legally Sinclair however, I changed it back to my birth last name Colace," she said. I nodded, smiling.
"Well, this is still a surprise for me," I said. "Yeah, still a surprise for me too," she said.
I nodded. "So, are you married or single?" I asked.
"Actually, I have a boyfriend. He's in WWE, he's a champion," she said. "Who? I might know him," I said.
"It's Drew Galloway aka Drew McIntyre," she said. "Really? I didn't know that Drew was dating someone in WWE," I said.
"Yeah. After his divorce and the abuse he went through from his ex-wife Taryn, he couldn't trust women. Last year, he put himself back into the dating scene and we met, got together after a few dates and the rest is history," she said.
"That's good," I said. "I see you're married to Finn Balor," she said.
"Actually, we're separated for a few months to see if we want to stay married or we're better apart," I said.
Cassidy nodded. "Oh. How long have you two been married?" she asked.
"2017. Our three year anniversary will be before SummerSlam 2017. We've been together since 2014," I said.
"That's a long time," she said. "Yeah. We actually eloped after we got back together after he cheated on me," I said.
"Wait, what? Fergal cheated on you?" she asked. "Yeah, He actually has cheated on me two times during our relationship," I said.
"Oh my god. How are you two still married after he cheated on you twice?" she asked.
"Because I wanted to save my marriage because I grew up with divorced parents. My dad had affairs while he was married to my mom," I said.
"Oh wow. The reason why we're separated is because after we both got injured, we've been distant, we don't talk much or anything. He always came home late and I felt like I was laying next to a stranger. So I told him that we needed to separate for a little while," I said.
Cassidy nodded. "Plus, I still have gut feelings that he'll cheat on me again," I said.
"Well, he can still cheat on you while you two are separated," she said.
"I know that he can still cheat on me," I said.
Cassidy nodded. "What's this on your face?" she asked.
"Oh I suffered a injury back in October, I was tripped during a battle royal and I fell face first into the steal stairs and broke my nose off my face. I landed on the bridge of my nose on the edge of the stairs. That's why I have to wear this. I have to protect my nose from getting broken again," I said.
"Can I see what it looks like?" she asked. I took my mask off my face, showing her the scars.
"I had reconstructive surgery on my nose and have a metal plate in my orbital because I almost lost my eye," I said.
"Ouch, how did you manage all that pain?" she asked. "Pain medication and lots of tylenol," I said, putting it back on.
"Do you wrestle with it on?" she asked. "I don't have too but, I want to because I look like a badass," I said.
"Oh that's good. Yeah, you do look like a badass. Marcel says it," I said. "Who's Marcel?" she asked.
"Marcel Barthel. He's in NXT. He's in a faction called Imperium," I said. "Ohh! I remember him. I see him as a sour puss man," she said.
"Yeah. We've been talking again," I said. "Again? Do you have history with him?" she asked. I nodded.
"After I found out that Fergal cheated on me a second time, I went on a blind double date with Kyle and Melissa, and they tried setting me and Marcel up. They had no idea that I was on the rebound mode," I said.
"Yeah, I saw that segment where Marcel and Fabian interrupted. Before Fergal started fighting them, I heard Marcel asking you when you become a whore. Why did he say that?" she asked.
"After the rebound, Marcel wanted to see me again but I told him that I was using him for a rebound. In character, he asked me that to trigger Fergal," I said.
"Did Fergal know about your rebound?" she asked. "He had a gut feeling. He was glad it wasn't his trainee Jordan," I said.
"Ohh, okay. So are you and Marcel friends now?" she asked. "Like a month ago. I hung out with him two weeks ago. We went for coffee and talked for hours," I said.
"That's good," she said. "Well, he asked me to hangout with him tomorrow night. However, I haven't answered him," I said.
"Do you want to hang out with him again?" she asked. "Yeah, I do. I just don't want Fergal to know that I am talking to the guy I rebounded with after he cheated a second time," I said.
"Well, you two are separated and it's okay to have a friend to talk to. I think you should hang out with him just as a friend," she said.
I nodded, grabbing my phone. I went to Instagram, going to my DMs. I see Marcel. 'Hey. Is that hanging out offer still available for tomorrow?'
I sent it, waiting for him to reply. "Can I get some more coffee?" she asked.
"Sure," I said, taking her mug. I headed to the kitchen, refilling her coffee.
My phone vibrated. I see a reply from Marcel. I checked it.
'Yes, it's still available. How about tomorrow at 7pm?' I replied; 'Sounds good. See you tomorrow', sending the reply.
I smiled, sighing. I lock my phone, heading back to the living room.
"Here you go," I said, giving her the mug. "Thank you," she said.
"You're welcome. I asked Marcel if that offer for me and him to hang out tomorrow is still available," I said.
"And?" she asked. "It's still available. So he and I are gonna hang out at 7pm," I said.
"That's good," she said, smiling. I smiled back, looking at my phone.
My phone vibrated again. I saw a text message from Fergal. 'Hey. It's Fergal. I'll get Irelynd and FJ tomorrow around 12pm. Is that okay?'
I replied; 'Yeah, that's okay', sending the text. "Who was that?" Cassidy asked.
"Fergal. He's getting the twins at 12pm," I said. "Oh okay. What time is it?" she asked.
"8pm," I said. "Okay. I better get going," she said. "Okay. It's good to finally meet my long lost twin sister I just met," I said.
Cassidy and I got up. "Maybe I can come to NXT and support you," she said. "On Wednesdays before 7pm. I can bring you as my guest as long as you get vaccinated," I said.
"Oh I will," she said. "Well, feel free to come over but let me know ahead of time first," I said.
"I will. It was nice meeting you Jaelyn," she said. "Call me Jae," I said.
"Okay, Jae. You can call me Cass," she said. "Sounds good," I said.
We exchanged phone numbers to stay in contact. "Okay. I better get going," she said.
"Okay. See you around, twin sister," I said. "See you too, twin sister," she said.
Cassidy and I hugged each other. I showed Cassidy the door.
"Let me know when you make it home safe," I said. "I will, bye, sis," she said.
"Bye sis," I said, smiling. Cassidy heads out the door.
I shut it, setting the alarm to keep us safe. I took the coffee mugs off the table, taking them to the kitchen.
I heard my phone ringing. I answered it. "Hello?" I asked.
"Hey. it's Marcel," Marcel said. "Hey, how did you get my number?" I asked, confused.
"Your friend, Miley," he said. "Oh. So what's up?" I asked as we continued to talk on the phone.
