We entered that party like we fucking owned the place, though nobody batted an eyelid about it, they were all either used to our shit and therefore it was the norm, or it was just how teenagers were back in the 90's, I don't know what the answer to that is.

Honestly don't remember lots of details about that night, I just remember that the vodka wasn't hitting like it usually did, (a sign for sure, but I didn't realise that yet), now if you asked Levi about this particular night, he'd probably have like a whole novel's worth of shit to say, (and I definitely don't have a novel's worth of thoughts on this night).

It was a couple of hours after we arrived at the party, things were as wild as you could get in a 90's teenage party, (so bonkers), I was drinking more than I usually would do to feel something, when this really big burly fella walks over to me, at first I didn't know who the fuck he was, but the closer he got, the more I recognised his face, it was Micky, (who was the one who actually bought all the alcohol because he was the only 18 year old there), so I was kind of on guard as him coming over was never good news.

"Oi London girl!, I challenge you to a drink off!"
"Sure, what's the catch?"
"We'll talk more about that later on"

It was really fucking stupid of me to agree to this drink off without knowing what I was getting into, but I wasn't getting my usual fix from drinking normally, so my dumb arse thought this was a way to get said fix, (which I suppose it was, but it doesn't make it any less stupid to do).

"Bex do you think that this is a good idea?"
"Probably not Li, but I've got nothing to lose"

I did feel awful that Levi was worried about me, (not that my actions reflected that at this point, but it was true), but I was too woefully stubborn for my own good to back down from anything, let alone a challenge that would've gotten me my fix as an alcoholic, (I'm a long time dry alcoholic, so I can say this).

It was drink for drink for 10 rounds, which at the time I thought was impressive as I was 13 and this guy was like 18, now I know know that it was a fucking swinging red flag, as this guy was actually a well known alcoholic, (well locally anyway, though I don't think that makes any difference here), however, things started to change when it came to round 11, (yes, it was stupidly long, but I wasn't losing to that twat).

I didn't notice at first, as I was drinking away at the drinks that were set out for us, (and I didn't care about what other people were doing, I still don't for most), it was until I was nearly finished that I noticed that he was way behind me and that made me drink faster, (I don't really know why it made me drink faster, I didn't even think about needing to speed up), and so I was finished like 20 seconds after I first saw him struggling with the drinks, his backup boys were shocked to say the least.

"Holy shit!, London girl beat him by a long shot!"
"Fuck!, I was hoping for a blowie"
"Go fuck yourself ya fucking perv!"

It was like the ghost of vengeance past had possessed me as I then broke this fuckers nose, (it's not actually that hard, it's literally the bottom of your palm and hitting upwards), I then walk away as fast as my feet can physically carry me until I saw Levi, (he didn't want to watch and I don't blame him for that), I was honestly trying to cry in front of Levi as he probably would've had the guy's head, (Micky looked like a proper pub Dad but at 18 and that wasn't a good look for him here).

"Bex are you ok?"
"No I'm not, can you take me home?"
"What happened?"
"You were right Li, it was a fucking terrible decision, I won, so I don't have to do the forfeit, but I found out that the forfeit would've been a blowie-"
"Where the fuck is he?!"
"Nursing a broken nose"
"You can break noses?!"
"It's kind of a right of passage for an Addams, and while I'm not an Addams anymore, it's the only useful thing that they gave me here"
"You are full of surprises"
"I'm glad that I can keep ya on ya toes"
"Let's take you home"
"Thank you"
"You're welcome"
