🔵 Chapter 15 🔵
The night went by so quickly, it was already the start of their first day of semestral break. They have one week to relax and enjoy what they want to do, which includes if they choose to either bond with their friends and family, or spend most of their quality time alone. Afterall, everyone deserves a good break from doing countless activities from school, or at work.
Currently, the teenagers were dressed with comfortable and warm clothes since, it's winter season from their place. They had their delicious hot beverages, and it's perfect for drinking one of those during a chilly climate. After having their breakfast, they immediately changed their clothing just to go out for a peaceful walk on the streets.
"Hurry up, airhead!" Halilintar shouted, narrowing his eyes towards Taufan who's currently putting on his winter boots.
"Eh?~ Is Hali so eager to wander around today?~" Taufan teased, receiving a light smack on the head by his friend afterwards.
"Owie!" The blue masked teen whined, holding the top of his head.
Halilintar only rolled his eyes and groaned. "You're so annoying." He grumbled. "Plus, you're overacting."
"Says the grumpy boy who's also doing the same thing— Ow!"
"I'm not overacting, idiot! You're just too slow!"
"Why are you so cruel?" The blue masked teen let out a fake sob, making his friend to only roll his eyes for the second time.
Meanwhile, the twin's grandmother is washing up the dishes, while silently observing the teenagers from a distance. Her lips curved a small yet, warm smile, happy to see her grandchildren getting along with a friend. Not for long, her joyful expression was replaced with a worried one, as she remembered what Taufan had told her last night.
"OMG! Guys, look!" Duri exclaimed, as he pointed at the window. "It's snowing! Let's build a snowman!" He added.
Taufan lightly gasped, his wide eyes sparkling. "Something that's written in my list of activities I wanted to do!" He beamed, before facing Halilintar with excitement.
The latter only sighed, pursing his lips. "I know, I know." He spoke.
But before they could even go out, the twin's grandma called Halilintar, motioning him to come closer.
"Go ahead. I'll catch up." He said, receiving a nod from the twins and left the house.
As Halilintar got closer, his anxious, bloodshot eyes met calm, and brown ones. "I—Um... What is it...?" He softly asked, stammering his question.
"Halilintar, dear," The grandmother uttered, gently placing a hand on his shoulder. "Take care of Fan-Fan, okay?" She warmly stated, giving him a genuine smile afterwards.
Halilintar paused for a few moments, before nodding obediently. He didn't say a word after, same goes to the elderly woman. The grandma then retrieved her hand, now gesturing to go and be with her grandchildren who were playing a snowball fight outside.
The lightning elemental obeyed, slightly bowing in a respectful manner before swiftly going towards the twins. The grandmother only waved her hand, her lips still formed a gentle smile. When he reached the bottom of the steps, his feet felt the foamy texture of the fluffy snow, making him a bit uncomfortable from walking at first, but got the hang of it after walking for a few steps.
"What took you so long, Hali?~" Taufan teased once again, receiving a glare from his friend.
"Shut up. It's none of your business." Halilintar spat, looking away grumpily.
The wind elemental hummed. "Okay then!~" He chirped, smirking evilly afterwards. He took this chance to shove some snow on his hands and created a ball, throwing the object at his snobby friend.
As a result, Halilintar got startled by the sudden impact and coldness of the snowball, causing him to slowly turn his head towards Taufan with an intense glare.
"You're going to regret that." He grumbled, before instantly picking up a snowball and threw it towards the blue masked teen, but the latter somehow dodged it.
"Oh, it's on, Hali!~" Taufan slightly chuckled.
"Snowball fight!" Duri on the other hand, exclaimed as he grabbed a bunch of snow and formed a snowball on his hand.
Then, the battle begun between the three teenagers.

They spent for at least a few hours outside, making snow angels, forming a snowman, and paused to take some photos and selfies together (but they only force Halilintar to get into the picture since he's not the type of person who likes to get pointed by the camera at). They were completely exhausted, but nevertheless, they enjoyed their first day of semestral break. Not to mention, that marks a checkmark to one of Taufan's list of activities he wanted to do.
"This day couldn't get any better..." Taufan said, letting out an airy laugh while lying down on his bed. "You agree, Hali?" He asked, slightly rising up from his bed to look at his friend.
Halilintar hummed, shrugging. "I... guess? We only played with snow earlier." He stated, as he removed the scarf around his neck.
The wind element then chuckled softly. "Silly, tomorrow's going to be wild, and exciting. Trust me."
"So, what are we going to do tomorrow?"
Taufan brought out his list and showed it to Halilintar. "We're going to the amusement park next!" He cheerfully said, grinning underneath his mask. "Have you ever been to one before?"
"... No..."
"Like, never? In your whole childhood life?"
"I'd already told you my life story, airhead."
"Oh..." The cyan-blue eyed boy muttered.
Halilintar heaved a heavy sigh. "Just forget about it. Let's just make that 'bucket list' of yours come true. Well at least, for you."
Taufan merely shook his head, letting out another chuckle. "This is not my 'bucket list'. This is our 'bucket list'. We do all these together. That's why I put your name in this paper." He corrected, his eyes smiling once again.
The lightning elemental's eyes sparked after hearing his friend's response. 'I hate it when this airhead's making me feel this... kind of warm feeling to me...' He thought, as he became grouchy about it.
"Oh?~ What's this?~ Is flustered Hali sulking?~"
"Want me to level up from smacking to a nice, solid punch?" Halilintar raised both of his brows, giving Taufan a threatening look.
"Angel Hali? Are you there? Stopping the devil one from getting his way?~"
At this point, the short-tempered boy's head started boiling, having a teensy bit of patience from his friend's jokes.
"I'm just so glad conscience exist~ That way, Hali will never ever murder me whenever I tease him~"
"You little son of a—" In a flash, Halilintar sprinted towards Taufan, chasing him like some valuable object got stolen from him by a thief.
"Ah, shi—" Taufan shrieked, running away from a cranky psychopath.
The tiring chase went for a few minutes, making them feel worn out because they were running in circles over and over again in Taufan's small room. They even had a pillow fight during the pursuit, not technically pillow fight but rather, 'throwing each other pillows fight'. But after a few while, Halilintar finally caught the wind element, getting him down on the ground like what wrestlers do.
"Ha! Got you!" The lightning element smirked, causing his pinned friend to grunt and accepted his defeat.
Suddenly, the door of Taufan's room opened, revealing Duri, with a box of popcorn held on his hand. "Aww man! Did I miss the whole fight?" He asked, pouting.
Noticing his presence, both Halilintar and Taufan only stared at him with an expressionless face, and in disbelief.
