The next morning Soundwave woke with a bit of blurred vision and a pounding helmache. He was confused and tried to think but that only made the helmache worse so he stopped thinking. He shifted only to brush against something warm. What? It didn't take him long to realize that he wasn't wearing his armor nor his mask. He blinked several times to clear his vision before looking to see what he brushed against and was shocked to see Echo! In bed with him! That wasn't the shocking part, she did that any time she had nightmares, the shocking part was her mask and armor was gone as well! Then all of last night came and smacked him in the face, clear as crystal. He had sexual intercourse with Echo, not once but three times!!! And they confessed their love for one another!! He blushed as he stared at her sleeping form, she seemed to be in peace. He was glad that he had his own washrack here in his private room. He knew for a fact they were both going to be sore from last night's activities. He glanced at Echo, she probably won't remember what happened or be awake enough to realize that they were both naked. He waited for her to wake up before he picked her up gently, she winced at the moment, and carried her into his washrack and turned the water on, making sure it was nice and lukewarm. He sat her down on a chair and carefully washed her thighs and the rest of her body before washing his own. He made sure to be very careful with her. She kept dozing off, which was fine with him. He then turned the water off and stepped out with her, drying her off and putting her armor on before himself. After that he let her sit for a minute as he changed the berth's sheets and blanket before laying her down to sleep. He covered her with the blanket and gently kissed her cheek before putting the sheets and blanket, that they used last night, he paused. He didn't want evidence of this getting around cause then Megatron will know and who knows what he'll do. So after successfully slipping outside onto the flight deck he set the sheets and blanket on fire and let space deal with the problem before going back inside and heading off to continue his work.
Knockout stopped Soundwave when he passed by and asked how last night was, doing his best to remain calm Soundwave just told him it was a normal night. Knockout just laughed "Oh please, Soundwave, you have that look that you enjoyed some activities last night." He looked ready to kill the cherry red mechs if he said anything about it to anyone! But Knockout said due to the sweet femme that they were speaking off he promised to keep quiet so she won't have any more stress on her plate with the way the others treat her. Soundwave was surprised by this. "Look, I may be the only medic on board with a giant ego about my looks and maybe a little crazy over bots who cross my path but I'm not that mean. I would never do anything to harm Echo, she's too innocent." Knocks said as Breakdown walked over, listening in, before chiming in "Yeah, I like that little femme. She's so sweet, always hanging around, trying to help when she can. It's adorable." "Having her presence around in the med-bay while working on Vehicons is much easier now, they seem to be calm by just being near her. She does her best to talk with them and explain that they'll be alright and that I know what I'm doing, makes work so much easier." Knocks added. Soundwave looked at them, he didn't know that Echo was actually talking with others. She was getting better! Yes! He cheered to himself. "Well thank you Knockout for keeping quiet for her sakes." "My pleasure." He replied with his signature grin and nodded before the two went back to work.
Soundwave thought about what he learned and was very proud of his Echo for doing better and not being too antisocial. He knows that it mostly isn't her fault that she is like this but they are trying to help her and she is getting better. He walked to his station to continue working.

Later Echo woke and was now walking the halls, talking with St3v3. They enjoyed each other's company because he understood why she didn't talk to much and he had a lot to say to anyone who would listen. So he would catch her up on the latest gossip floating around the Nemesis and she would give him someone to talk to. She didn't mind. He also threw in a few jokes to see how it would work on the others and he always managed to make her laugh. They were close friends. Any time Megatron felt like kill St3v3 for no reason he is reminded that Echo and him are friends and St3v3 gets to live another day. Today felt like any other day just walking and talking until Megatron stepped in their way. They stopped and moved out of his way but he asked St3v3 to scat. This didn't surprise the Vehicon and say a quick farewell to Echo before leaving. Echo looked at Megatron and bowed, like all the others have done before him, except Soundwave, he's never bowed to him. "You don't need to bow before me Echo." He told her and helped her up before pulling her close to him. He smirked at her. Her optics widened, behind her mask, in fear. He reached for the mask and jerked it away from her face, breaking it to bits! Immediately she covered her face before he could see and clicked for Soundwave, who came instantly. Megatron was confused why she was hiding her face and tried to see what she looked like and he almost did before Soundwave shoved him away from her. Echo shivered with fear and curled up to Soundwave's side who held her close and grabbed what was left of her mask, which wasn't a lot. He looked at Megatron with disgust and took Echo to the med-bay where he asked Knockout if he could fix her mask. He looked at the broken thing and frowned "It take a while with this kind of damage, I have to remake the whole thing." Echo was crying in fear and sort of hate. Why would he do that!! Doesn't he know only her mate is allowed to see her face!!? Soundwave removed his mask and set it in place of Echo's until hers can be fixed. She looked at him, the way he was standing the shadows covered his face from anyone's view, "You sure?" He nodded and went to deal with Megatron. No one has ever seen Soundwave's face, but this was an exception due to the stupidity of their leader and the dumbass stunt he just pulled.
