I'm sitting in the study, trying to search for more specific information about Heliconia, such as where the fuck could I connect the CD Player? Come on, there must be at least one AUX port in her.

(Y/N): "I didn't spend months repairing that thing, just to learn Conia is not compatible" I sigh And lean back, as the display shows info about Heliconia

Clicking the button on the bottom, I'm met with a schematic of every part of Heliconia. Two photos however catch my attention. One was Conia's Stampede Mode, a black puma. My hand started trembling, remembering the screams of Ryuko, as she tries to kill the Klaxosaur.

(Y/N): "Never again. I will allow her to do that" second one pictured Conia in her Iron Maiden mode, but there is a difference in her appearance. She was wearing a metal cape as well as a hood. Her face was not visible, but a faint red light coming from her eyes was all I needed to know. It's labeled 'Heliconia Thanatos' I chuckle "It's fitting, for Reapers' FranXX to look like a Grim Reaper itself. Scythe, robe, red glowing eyes. Uncle Werner, you know me and Ryuko so well" Just then, Zero storms inside the study "Morning Zero-" Zero starts throwing books around.

Zero Two: "I knew it. No picture books"

(Y/N): "Zero... What're you looking for exactly?" Zero turns around, letting me see her horns grow again, and her fangs show through her mouth a little.

'Shit... she's losing it. Her patience is on reserve, and Hiro still doesn't remember her'.

Zero Two: "Nothing important, friend"

(Y/N): "And you trashed the whole study. Getting angry won't help. You need to calm down"

Zero Two: "He survived the third ride. It's him, and I'll not be rejected" I sigh and close my laptop.

(Y/N): "Zero Two. Ryuko and I are really worried about you. You're losing it, Zero. One day you will hurt someone. You're becoming the very thing you swore to kill to bring your Darling back. Now, sit down Zero, and we will talk. I can help you Zero, if you want, I can still use my powers to unlock his-" Zero cuts me off with a shriek.

Zero Two: "Why can't he remember me?!" I can finally get a better look at her face, her irises turned red. I breathe in and out, thinking about how to deal with her and not cause too much damage around, either to her or the room.

(Y/N): "Zero... please, listen to me. What happened to that sweet girl I and Ryuko met months ago? I beg you, Zero, calm down, don't do anything reckless or anything you'll regret later" I try to hug her, but she walks past me and leaves the room.

Zero Two: "I know what I have to do" I sigh and look as she leaves, a plan formulating in my head already

'Fuck... a total catastrophe rolling out before my eyes. Zero Two, please, don't do anything stupid' I started to clean around the mess she created and later get back to my laptop, thinking about a way to activate Thanatos 'It could help us if we have to stop Zero'.

*Time skip, outside the Third Garden*

We left Plantation 13, and the first thing we met is a harsh cold wind, followed by a snowstorm

'Yup, a Garden for sure'

After a short walk, we entered the tall black building, the Lab. We chat, waiting for Nana and Hachi to come back.

Miku: "I saw the Lab every day from afar, but I'd never gone inside before"

Kokoro: "Very, very few children actually got to come here, right?"

Futoshi: "Yeah, only Hiro as far as I know"

Hiro: "Yeah. I was a designated special research subject back then"

Zorome: "Peh. Damn teacher's pet"

(Y/N): "Jealous much?"

Futoshi: "And Mitsuru, too, I guess"

Hiro: "What? Mitsuru, too?" Nana finally came back with some documents.

Nana: "Listen up. We are here to run tests on each of you. I'm sorry to say, but this won't be a homecoming, you are not allowed to enter The Garden"

Ichigo: "What kind of tests?"

Goro: "And why do they need to be done here?"

Hiro: "I think we're just tagging along" They look at Zero, who bites her nail nervously

Hachi: "Code 002, you in particular will undergo thorough testing"

Zero Two: "I can't be bothered" she looks down

Nana: "They cannot be put off any longer. That's an order" Zero glares at her, breaking the nail she was biting.

(Y/N): "Zero, don't you worry. We will-" I'm cut off by the last person I wanted to see here. Alpha and his squad of goody-two-shoes.

Alpha: "Oh, hey!" we look at them

(Y/N): "For fuck's sake..."

Ryuko: "Kill me already..." she rolls her eyes, while Alpha stops to our right

(Y/N): "What do you want now, Alpha?" Blonde elite chuckles.

Alpha: "I just want to say hello, Omega. It's nice to see you, Psi, and Iota again" now it's my turn to roll my eyes.

(Y/N): "Yeah, sure..."

Alpha: "What a coincidence seeing you here" he laughs, "Or not. You are here for maintenance, too, right?" Zero walks away without a word, shooting one last cold glare at him, "Glad to see she hasn't changed" Our squad gets a good look at the Nines.

Kokoro: "Who's that boy?"

Miku: "I don't know" she looks at Alpha with sparkly eyes, "But he's kinda hot" Zorome gets offended, and he glares at Miku, grumbling in the meanwhile. Nines get closer to us.

Nana: Children, these are-" Alpha cuts her off

Alpha: "Please, Nana. We're the Nines. APE's elite special forces and Papa's chosen ones" he bows "Pleased to meet you. It seems you are in the same squad as Iota, Psi, and Omega, right?" I growl.

(Y/N): "We're here, douchebag"

Alpha: "Please escort Iota to you-know-where safe and sound"

Ichigo: "You-know-where?"

Alpha: "Surely you know where all the plantations on this continent are currently headed" Ichigo looks at Nana

Nana: "I'll fill you in later"

Ichigo: "Okay"

Alpha: "Anyway... I'm relieved to see them three fitting in with you guys"

Hiro: "Iota? You mean Zero Two?"

Goro: "And who are Psi and Omega?" the boys question

Alpha: "Oh, we meet again, Code 016. She used to be one of us Nines. As for Psi and Omega, they are Code 006 and Code 004. Those two were supposed to join our squad, but Doctor decided otherwise. What a shame"

(Y/N): "If I were you, I would watch my words, Alpha. You're walking on thin ice" I warn the blonde.

Alpha: "Oh, Omega, there is no need to be so aggressive. We're on good terms with each other, right?"

(Y/N): "Go shove a cactus up your ass" I reply, while Ryuko tries to calm me down

Ryuko: "Calm down, (Y/N). He's trying to get into your head" I breathe in and out, "But that doesn't mean we couldn't get into his head too" she smirks and grabs my hand, as we turn to the elites. I swear, I saw a couple of eye twitches when they spotted our hands.

(Y/N): "Yeah, we're good, Alpha" I smirk. He clears his throat and addresses Hiro

Alpha: "I thought Iota would be too much for an ordinary squad to handle, so I was surprised. How did you manage to tame her?"

Hiro: "Tame?" Ryuko gets a little more irritated.

Ryuko: "That's enough, Alpha. Leave us alone and stop bothering our squad" Then Ichigo steps forward.

Ichigo: "Zero Two, (Y/N), and Ryuko are one of us"

Alpha: "Wow, she must've taken a real liking to you. The only humans she was ever friendly towards are 004 and 006. But they are not humans either, right?"

'I swear, I will evaporate him if he doesn't leave'

(Y/N): "Listen here you little-" I want to punch him, but Ichigo extends her arm, stopping me

Ichigo: "(Y/N), calm down, don't do anything reckless" I nod, and she turns to Alpha "I see that the elites haven't even been taught basic etiquette. It makes me glad I fight alongside Zero Two and Reapers, instead of you" Alpha laughs.

Alpha: "Oh you say that now" she smiles "You are a bit different from the parasites in other squads, huh?" he gets in front of Ichigo "That's the reason those three are with you" He tries to kiss Ichigo on the wrist, but I shot a single Life Fiber string, holding his head back

(Y/N): "Hands off of our squad leader, pretty boy"

Ryuko: "Last warning. Leave us alone, or you will leave the Garden in a body bag" Alpha sighs.

Alpha: "I hoped at least Psi will be free from your influence, Omega. Such a pretty flower withered away" I growl "Very well"

Nana: "It's time to go, kids" we walk away for our 'tests'

Alpha: "I've taken an interest in you guys too. I'd love to be a part of your squad sometime"

Ichigo: "Sadly, we don't have any room left but the attic. It doesn't suit elites such as yourselves. But if that's ok, you're always welcome" Ichigo coldly replies to him.

(Y/N): "Motherfucker..." Ichigo gets on my side "When you need, you can be fierce, Ichigo"

Ryuko: "Yeah. I didn't know you have in you, Strawberry" she smiles at the younger girl.

Ichigo: "I just stood up for my friends" she smiles

*Time skip*

Obviously, Ryuko and I don't have to attend some stupid tests or anything. If they find out we're Life Fiber hybrids, we would be under some rather painful procedures. Nana went with Zero, while Hachi got the rest to their test rooms.

Hachi: "Code 004, 006, Dr. FranXX is waiting for you two" We nod and get in front of large oak doors. Soon, I open them and I and Ryuko enter, closing them behind us

Ryuko: "Um... Uncle Werner, are you here?" Soon, a metal curtain gets down on all walls, soundproofing the room. Uncle then turned on his chair to face us. I noticed two more persons are together with us in the dimly lighted room.

Dr. FranXX: "Welcome, my nephew. My niece-in-law" He nods to greet us, "How're things with Squad 13?"

(Y/N): "Um... Good, yeah, really good" I look at the elder man "By the way, I didn't know we're not the only ones visiting you. Who are they?"

???: "Really, (L/N)?" I recognize the voice.

(Y/N): "Wait a second... Koru?!" I look as he steps out of the shadow, revealing his brown hair and green eyes, "So that means the other is-"

Satsuki: "Indeed (L/N)" she steps out of the shadow too, as Ryuko rushes to her

Ryuko: "Sis!" she hugs Satsuki, surprising her older sister, who soon hugs her too

Satsuki: "Hello Ryuko, how're you?"

Ryuko: "Oh, I'm great, Sats!" Girls start chatting while I get to Koruno, we bro-hugged.

(Y/N): "How're you, old asshole?" Koru snickers.

Koruno: "Says the guy who is 168 years old" I chuckle, "Well, we're building the base of our future operation. What about you two?" I sigh.

(Y/N): "Teaching children, fighting Klaxosaurs, resolving their dramas. I and Ryuko have basically Nana's and Hachi's like duties" Then it hit me "Those two really are teaching us to take their place in the future! Uncle, did you know about this?!" I turn to the desk, where uncle chuckles silently.

Dr. FranXX: "It's not my fault you two grow onto Squad 13 in your first week there" He shows some evidence, like Ryuko cheering Ichigo up after mock battles or video footage of me training the boys "Don't you worry, tho. It will help us all in the future. After we defeat APE, we will start overtaking their infrastructure, including Gardens. This means a lot of children to take care"

(Y/N): "If we defeat APE, uncle. That's if, you have some ace in the sleeve" I chuckle, as uncle looks at me all serious.

Dr. FranXX: "That's something I will tell you soon. Now, Ryuko, (Y/N), I got some reports from Nana about recent events, mainly focusing on Zero Two. Care to explain?" I and Ryuko look at him and we sigh.

(Y/N): "Something happened, about a month ago, a week after kids got into puberty. Zero started behaving colder towards her partner and us"

Ryuko: "Each day she got worse. We confronted her a while ago, she is on the verge of her patience. In the worst case, she'll stop carrying, which could mean she will devour Hiro like each of her stamens before" Doctor hums and thinks a little.

Dr. FranXX: "That would be the worst case for our plans. Perhaps I should intervene?" I shake my head.

(Y/N): "I don't think you can do something by now, uncle. The only way to stop Zero is for Hiro to remember her" I sigh "Which can be any moment, can it be right now, can it be in a year, but then, it would be too late"

Dr. FranXX: "Let's be optimistic, shall we?" he puts a hologram of a giant blue dome, guarded by several Gutenberg-class Klaxosaurs "You know geezers are planning to attack Gran Crevasse?" I nod.

(Y/N): "Alpha mentioned something about it when we met with him and his squad. Squad 13 is to escort Zero Two there"

Satsuki: "If they open it, and get her inside, it will be our doom..." Koruno steps to her side.

Koruno: "That's why we will try to contact Klaxosaur Princess" I and Ryuko look at them

Ryuko/(Y/N): "Princess?!"

(Y/N): "What're the chances that she'll help us?!"

Dr. FranXX: "There are low, but they exist. We will try while you two try to leave Plantation 13 with the kids. I will inform Nana and Hachi later" We nod and looks like we need to get back.

(Y/N): "Understood" I and Ryuko face the trio, "I guess we need to get back. Our squad awaits us"

Satsuki: "It was nice to see you two again" she hugs Ryuko "Be careful, little sister" Ryuko returns her hug

Ryuko: "I will be fine, sis" Satsuki looks at me next

Satsuki: "(Y/N), keep her safe. I will not forgive you that easily this time" she smirks.

(Y/N): "You sure like to drag my self-sacrifice, don't you, Sats" I smile "You know, I will not forgive myself first" Satsuki nods and pushes Koruno to us

Satsuki: "Now it's your time to say goodbye, love"

Koruno: "Fine, fine, Sats" he turns to us "Right. See you later, sis, bro. Be safe out there" I nod.

(Y/N): "You too Koru, Keep White Rose in one piece" I smirk "I saw you two"

Koruno: "Ehh... I told her not to, but you know how Satsuki is when it comes to Ryuko" I nod.

Dr. FranXX: "We will see each other soon enough. Ryuko, (Y/N), when the time comes, contact Nana and Hachi, I already give them directives as to what to do. They will give you your orders too" Ryuko and I nod, "Good. Farewell, my dear family"

(Y/N): "Right. See you Sats, and Koru. Later uncle. Thank Inumuta for the laptop from me"

Ryuko: "We will miss you all" Satsuki and Koruno got us in a group hug

Satsuki: "Don't. We will see each other, sooner than later"

Koruno: "Good luck to you two" we broke the hug, while uncle got the curtains up. We leave, getting one last look at them, and soon closed the door, getting back to the testing area, where we spot Hiro sitting down on some benches, his tests long finished.

(Y/N): "You finished Hiro?"

Hiro: "Huh? Yeah. Where were you two?" we sit down on a bench next to him.

(Y/N): "Doctor wanted to check on us personally. You know, his prized pupils, etc." I chuckle.

Hiro: "Yeah" Then, Goro left the room opposite the bench

Goro: "I'm done. You were right. They only ran the simplest of tests on us, they could've done them in Plantation"

(Y/N): "We just tagged along for Zero's tests. You think why she isn't here with us?" We stay silent, as the rest of the team gets done with their tests.

Hiro: "I'm thinking of going to the Garden" he shocks most of us

Zorome: "What?"

Hiro: "I'm going to the Garden"

Goro: "What? We're forbidden from going there"

Hiro: "I want to let Naomi know I found a partner" I sigh

(Y/N): "There is a bigger chance she is in Replacement Division, Hiro"

Hiro: "I need to see the Garden first"

Ryuko: "Okay. But we are going with you" Most of the squad nods.

Goro: "Right. We won't let you get in trouble alone"

Zorome: "It isn't fair for you to sneak all alone"

Miku: "Yeah. And we're here now anyway, so we might as well"

(Y/N): "Hell, it's not fair. I and Ryuko want to see where you grew up" I get near Hiro "All for One, One for All, buddy. We wouldn't let you go alone" They changed, and soon we arrive in the Garden, walking through its corridors. Looking through the windows, we see kids playing, eating, reading in the library, or playing along near the tree. I walk with Goro and Hiro, as they enter a room looking like a classroom.

Goro: "It wasn't even been six months since we left, right?" he asks Hiro

(Y/N): "Nearly five months since Ryuko and I met you all. Time flies, I guess"

Goro: "Guess it is. It feels like a distant past" Then, we hear a hiss, and Ikuno rushes to the room we are in, she was disturbed by something.

Ikuno: "Come with me" we follow her, and what I saw at the destination, made my blood boil

'They're... they're programming their brains!' I look into one kid's eyes, 'No emotion whatsoever! What the fuck are they doing?! This is it! No more holding back!' I clench my fist, feeling an urge to just punch the glass and kill any adult on the other side, as the warm feeling on my back gets stronger. Ryuko grits her teeth, her fingernails draw blood from her palms.

Ryuko: "(Y/N)... Don't... not now..." she tries her best to keep us calm, knowing if we do something, our plan will be ruined "We wait... a little more... They. Will. Pay." She looks at me.

Senketsu: "Ryuko, your blood is boiling. Keep your cool"

Neko: "(Y/N)... what are they doing to those children?" I growl.

(Y/N): "Something worth at least ten death sentences..."

Zorome: "I-Is that how we used to be?"

Futoshi: "I-I don't think so"

(Y/N): "You guys got it easier." I calm down, "They're programming their minds, as they do to every Parasite... except Squad 13 and Squad 36"

Ryuko: "We're Dr. FranXX's test squads, we were treated differently" A garden operator passes us by with a cart full of injections supposed to be for active Parasites

Goro: "That was the same type of injection as the ones we were administered"

Kokoro: "They are starting to give parasite injections to kids so young?" Squad 13 is disturbed by the news.

Operator: "Yeah. We've started injecting more concentrated doses of yellow blood cells than before. The Klaxosaurs have grown more active lately, you know? So the system's being retooled to produce more capable and obedient parasites. Also..." she looks at us, "You're the Parasites of Squad 13, yes? I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed in here" Hiro steps forward.

Hiro: "Um, has a girl from Plantation 13 named Naomi... Code 703 been back here?"

Operator: "Code 703? No. Once a parasite leaves this place, they never return" She called someone to escort us out of the building. Well, we were simply kicked out

Zorome: "Aw, we were thrown out"

Miku: "Where'd Naomi go, then?"

(Y/N): "As I said, you need to search a Replacement Division. You see this building" I point to three barracks in the distance, "It's there. But I must warn you, those Parasites are desperate"

Ryuko: "I don't want to be the bringer of bad news, but if she's not there, she is dead. Sorry"

(Y/N): "But hey, you have two more Gardens to check, Hiro. There's a chance Naomi is alive" I smile. We continue walking, but Hiro asks us to go ahead, as he needs to check something. We're soon near the Lab.

Goro: "Why would Hiro ask us to head back before him?"

(Y/N): "Maybe he wanted to check Replacement Division? Who knows?"

Ryuko: "Naomi... she was supposed to be Hiro's partner, right?" Goro nods.

Goro: "Before you two arrived with Zero Two at our Plantation, she and Hiro were supposed to ride together in Gladiolus, but after their failure, it got sent back to Dr. FranXX" he looks at us "Hiro is worried about her, I feel like he thinks it's his fault" he sighs "I hope you're right, (Y/N). We have two more Gardens to check" Kokoro stops and asks something out of blue.

Kokoro: "Where do you guys think we came from?" everyone stops and look at her

Miku: "Where did that come from? Obviously, Papa and the other adults made us"

'Okay, what the fuck did they tell them? That Papa waved his hand and, *puff*, they magically come to exist? From thin air?'

Kokoro: "Is that really true, though?"

Zorome: "You are being kinda weird. Kokoro" Ryuko whispers to me.

Ryuko: "Looks like someone learned something she wasn't supposed to learn~" she sang

(Y/N): "Heh, to think Kokoro would be one of the first to start questioning Papa. Easier job for us. Ryuko, you need to keep your eye on her. Do not allow her to do anything for now" I whisper back and Ryuko nods. Nana meanwhile storms out of the Lab and looks at us furiously.

Nana: "You kids!" I turn to her and sigh.

(Y/N): "Umm... hey Nana" she glares at me "You look beautiful... did you change-" I quiet myself as Nana stood there not moved "We're in trouble, aren't we?"

Nana: "In big ones, (Y/N)" we follow her. And after a quick lecture about how she's 'disappointed in each of us' and that 'I and Ryuko shouldn't let them wander off, as the oldest among them' we started walking back to our Plantation. Ryuko and I look back to see Alpha stopping Ichigo.

(Y/N): "Should we do something about it?" Ryuko waves her hand.

Ryuko: "Ichigo is a big girl. She learned from yours truly" she boasts, pointing a thumb at her chest. Deciding to spend the rest of our day on a walk around the forest. Ryuko loves when it snows. Spending most of our evening walking, at one point starting a snowball fight, we return to the house for supper and soon get back to our rooms, getting well-earned sleep.

*next day*

I lie on my bed, and as my curiosity gets the better of me, I start looking at Squad 13's FranXX schematics on my laptop, with my current item of research being Delphinium

'Hmm, so that's what she looks like without a hat' I look at the picture, showing a lot of pink-red petals sprouting from Delphi's head, looking like hair

Then, an alarm goes off, putting my laptop aside, and sprinting out of the room, changing in the meantime, I enter the hangar and get near Heliconia. Ryuko soon joins me as we look to our left, seeing Zero and Hiro entering Strelizia.

Ryuko: "(Y/N)... I have a really bad feeling about this..."

(Y/N): "It can either end up in two ways. Come on, duty calls" we enter Heliconia and soon Hachi gives us info about our targets.

Hachi: "Five Moho-Class Klaxosaurs have been detected on course with The Garden. You're to eliminate them." Activating Heliconia, Ryuko and I rush after Strelizia into the battlefield.

Heliconia: "Zero Two! Wait!" Lizia jumps off the cliff and activates her boosters to fly away. Heliconia activates hers and flies right behind the white and red mech

(Y/N): "She lost it... she actually lost her mind..." I speak, not believing, "How could we allow it to happen... Ryuko?" Heliconia growls.

Ryuko: "(Y/N), we did all we could do! Zero just... she gave up on Hiro..." Getting her controls back up, I know what we have to do.

(Y/N): "Now it's either us and Hiro or she. And if she kills Hiro, her Darling is lost forever..." I sigh.

Heliconia: "Righ... oh my..." she looks around, as Strelizia annihilates the first Moho horse-like Klaxosaur in just a few seconds

'She's fighting without any thinking! Zero Two, you idiot!'

Delphinium: "Strelizia, follow the plan!" she skies down the cliff, getting near us

Hiro: "You're being too direct"

Strelizia: "Oh will you shut up! As long as we kill them, what difference does it make?!" she snaps. Heliconia meanwhile calls me, her face appearing in her usual place in the cockpit on my right.

Heliconia: "We lost her... Zero Two, you imbecile..." she sighs "What now, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "We do as we said and protect the rest of Squad 13. With Hiro as our priority," Conia nods and springs to the fight. Strelizia gets blindsided by one of the Klaxosaurs, launching her into the air upon contact. She however quickly recovers, diving back down and crushing it under the FranXX weight.

Chlorophytum: "More incoming!" she tries to shoot any of them from her position on the cliff. Genista tries to shoot one of them, but they're too fast for her. As for Heliconia, she's getting her hands dirty with two of the horse-like creatures. Transforming her scythe into a lance, she gets ready to impale it into one's core, only for Lizia to swipe in and crush it before Conia could do anything.

Strelizia: "I'll kill them all together!" Heliconia looks at her, and shivers get down my spine, as Lizia now wears a terrifying smile on her face.

Hiro: "Why aren't you listening to me?! Zero Two!" Lizia meanwhile walks to the body of the Klaxosaur she stole from Heliconia and drives her lance into it again and again.

Strelizia: "You damn monsters!" and again "And this!" and again, her eyes crazed "Damn you! Damn you! I'm going to kill every single you and become human" Thankfully before Zero does something else, Strelizia's fuel ends.

'Oh, thank God this is over'

Argentea: "That was scary, really"

Delphinium: "Y-yeah" Heliconia meanwhile gets her scythe on its place on her back, as she looks down

'Dammit, she's gone' I sigh and radio Squad 13

(Y/N): "Squad 13, return to Plantation. Ichigo, do you mind if Ryuko comes with us to Hachi and Nana?"

Delphinium: "N-not at all" they walk back to the garage, while Heliconia grabs Strelizia on her back, and we start following them. After retrieving Lizia, Ryuko and I wait for Ichigo near the elevator, soon getting near the briefing room, where we overheard Caretaker's talk with Commander.

Hachi: "The detailed reports show that Code 002's rate of Saurification has greatly accelerated since they became partners" Ichigo stops us "Code 016's numbers are nearing the upper limit, as well. If this keeps up, he might undergo a genetic transformation"

Nana: "You mean he could no longer be called human?"

Hachi: "That's exactly what I mean" I and Ryuko look at Ichigo. The younger girls look down, her hair covering her eyes, but by the sounds of sobbing, we can tell she's crying.

Ryuko: "Ich... go..." she tries to put her hand on the girl's shoulder, only for her to run away "Wait! Ichigo! Please!" she sighs "When will this fucking rollercoaster of emotion ends?" I sigh too.

(Y/N): "I don't know. One thing I know is what Zero meant by 'I know what I had to do'"

Ryuko: "Hiro's becoming like her... and he doesn't even know" I and Ryuko sit down, our backs against the wall

(Y/N): "This is tearing me apart. Ichigo is our friend, as well as Zero. Both know Hiro for a long time. On one side, Ichigo is Hiro's childhood friend and her crush, on the other, Hiro is her Darling, and we got it confirmed" I sigh "It's hard to be an adult and have kids to watch over... Hope our kids won't be like that"

Nana: "You two can always hope, but it's never easy" We look up, seeing Nana and Hachi leave the room

(Y/N): "You knew we were here?" Nana nods.

Hachi: "We heard Code 015 sobs and 006 shouts"

Nana: "She is not taking it well?" Ryuko sighs.

Ryuko: "As you see, Nana. It's not as bad as with Futoshi and Kokoro, but still..." I look at her.

(Y/N): "Well, now we have to make sure Zero won't hurt anyone" We stand up, and I pass Nana the papers "Here are our reports, Nana" Nana nod

Nana: "Thanks (Y/N). You two are dismissed" We return to the Mistilteinn. After walking around without any destination, we soon get to the main hall, where we spot Ichigo walking back up.

Ryuko: "Don't worry, I will try to cheer her up"

(Y/N): "You think you can?" Ryuko nods with a smug face.

Ryuko: "Please. If not me, then no one" Ryuko follows Ichigo.

*Ryuko's POV*

I get near Ichigo, as she stops at the corner

Ryuko: "Hey, Ichigo-" I cut myself off, as I see a strain of pink hair entering the bathroom "I will tell you... it's a bad idea, Ichigo" she, however, doesn't listen and follows Zero. She stops at the door frame, with me right behind her.

Ichigo: "Zero Two, I need to talk with-" Zero breaking a mirror cuts her off however

Zero Two: "Don't show me. Don't reflect me!" she destroys the second mirror, startling us both.

Ryuko: "Z-Zero...?"

Ichigo: "Wh-What're you doing?" Zero Two turns to us, her irises are burning red,

Zero Two: "You" she looks at Ichigo "I'll kill you!" she tries lunging at Ichigo's throat

Ryuko: "Zero! NO!" I tackle Zero out of Ichigo "Ichigo, run!" I try wrestling with Zero, our strengths matched as for now. Ichigo I think is frozen in fear as she looks at me "Dammit. RUN!" I turn back to Zero and hold back her arms "(Y/N)! Help!"

*(Y/N) POV*

Ryuko: (Y/N)! Help!" When I hear her call, as well as previous Zero's screams, I sprint up the stairs to the girls' side. Rounding the corner I see Ryuko holding Zero Two's arms and Ichigo sitting near the wall, scared beyond anything.

(Y/N): "What the fuck happened here?!"

Ryuko: "Zero lost it! She tried to kill Ichigo, but I get her off!"

(Y/N): "Okay! You okay?"

Ryuko: "I am. Now use your little trick and tie her down!" I get some fibers out of my fingers as they rapidly get near Zero. She notices it and tries to evade them, getting close to me. Before she gets tied, she deeply slashed at my throat and chest, leaving four deep wounds.

(Y/N): "Motherfucker!" Zero meanwhile roars in anger and thrashes around. Ichigo gets out of the shock as I lie down, letting my body regenerate.

Ichigo: "(Y/N)! Are you alright?! How can I help?! I better call Nana!" I put my hand up.

(Y/N): "Don't you dare, Ichigo" I smile "Look" Ichigo looks at my wounds as they close by themselves, some orange threads are dancing inside, recreating damaged cells. Soon, I was good as new "Ahh. Like a newborn" I stand up while Ichigo looks at me, not believing.

Ichigo: "What...? How...?" I and Ryuko giggle at her.

Ryuko: "Ichigo, we told you we're hybrids like Zero. Just a different type. Being a Life Fiber hybrid has its perks, such as ultra-fast regeneration. You can cut off our legs or even our heads, and they would just reattach a moment later.

Ichigo: "That means... you two can't be killed?" We nod.

(Y/N): "No. There is only one way to kill us, but we will never tell anyone. You know, better be safe than sorry" I smile at the young girl, while Ryuko leads her back to their room.

Ryuko: "Come on, Ichigo. We had enough adventures so far today. Time for sleep" I said my goodnight to them and get Zero on my shoulder, walking towards her room. She's still thrashing around.

(Y/N): "Okay, Zero, you wanted it the hard way. Why did you attack Ichigo?"

Zero Two:"..."

(Y/N): "Nothing to say, yeah? We know what are you doing to Hiro. Do you think making him a hybrid like you would make him remember you?" Zero still didn't say a word. Soon we get near her room "Okay, little sister, you didn't want to talk with me, then be it your way. Go to sleep" I put Zero down and untie her. Her eyes were back to their normal color. Catching a glimpse of her room, I notice a lot of claw marks on the walls. Deciding to hit the hay too, I walk back down to my room, where I get on my laptop immediately.

(Y/N): "Come on... come on"

'Sulfur, no. Surviving, not now... where the fuck is it. Inumuta said reports about Zero should be here too'.

(Y/N): "Dammit..."

'Here it is, saurification... blah blah blah, genetic changes, blah blah blah it's irreversible, that's fine, Hiro as a part Klaxo could be good, at least those two could have children if so. It is dangerous for both parties... Fuck...'

Deciding it was enough, I went to sleep

*another day*

After some food and doing my notes on the matter of saurification, another alarm sounds aloud. A quick briefing later, we were sent outside. Squad 13 gets to the location and Strelizia rushes without us, just like yesterday. She tries to kill one of the Moho horse-likes, but it parries her attacks, only to be pushed back. Strelizia now is put in defense, by the numbers and the speed of the Klaxosaurs. Three remaining melee FranXX get to her side and push away the incoming attack.

Delphinium: "Strelizia!" White and orange FranXX recovers, stands up, and pushes her way back, pushing Argentea away right into Heliconia

Strelizia: "Move it!" She continues to chase the Klaxosaurs, the same insane face present on her faceplate "I'll kill many many more, and then I'll become a human!"

Hiro: "You're wrong, Zero Two! You can't become human that way! What's driving your obsession?" Then, I think Hiro let go of the controls, as Strelizia stops moving and soon gets on all fours

Strelizia: "Don't you dare turn on me too. I won't let you tie me down!" I look at the stats, as the alarm 'Stampede Mode' flashes on Lizia's view. Soon, she finishes her transformation, as the metal lion takes her place "Shut up and be devoured like the fodder that you are!"

I meanwhile look down, a small tear in my eye, trying to call to her one more time

(Y/N): "ZERO TWO DON'T DO THIS!" I pant "Hiro is your Darling from before..."

A/N: Next chapter is about 1/6 done. I want to write the Battle of Gran Crevasse by Sunday so, we're detailing the scripts one by one. See you later.
