*Next day, (Y/N) POV*

I'm outside with Isshin and Hayami standing opposite of me. Since they're seven now, and most probably they're hybrids like us, I decided to give them a small training despite Ryuko's protests and threats. She of course watches us from the porch of our house checking if I don't get too far with our kids like a loving mother should

Ryuko: "I swear if you damage OUR kids, you're sleeping on the couch, (Y/N)"

(Y/N): "And I told you, it's only a test for them. It would help them in the future if anyone bugs them at school" Isshin and Hayami meanwhile stand there, dumbfounded

Hayami: "Test? Dad, why are we getting tested?"

Isshin: "Yeah dad, you just dragged us out of the bed and make mommy angry with it" I turn to them

(Y/N): "I only want to see if you can for example" I set my hand on fire "Do this. It's enough to scare anyone who would try to bully you. And NO ONE will bully my kids"

Ryuko: "They don't need your fire trick! Senktestu and Neko are going with them for crying out loud!" I look down at my outfit with a questioning look

(Y/N): "You knew about this, Nekketsu?"

Neko: "Again with the whole name! And yes, Ryuko told me and Senketsu to go with your children as... as a backup" I sigh

(Y/N): "Fine... Isshin, Hayami" I get the twins' attention "Go get ready, we're going to park today after all. Uncle Goro must be back from his trip" I smile, with both kids going ecstatic

Isshin: "Yes! Sis, you know what that means?"

Hayami: "Gaia! And Yui! And... and..." Ryuko chuckles a bit"

Ryuko: "Come on sweetpeas. Go to your room and get ready. I have to speak with your father"

Twins: "Yes mama!" and they run off to the house. Ryuko meanwhile makes a beeline to me

Ryuko: "You just had to try this, don't you?"

(Y/N): "Yes, honey. I know they will do fine, they're our kids after all" I smirk

Ryuko: "That's what I'm worried about. You remember Boarding School. It was hell"

(Y/N): "No one will dare to touch them. I'm more than sure they have Life Fibers. There is no other option to how they can hear our Kamui" I chuckle "To think Ragyo would do us a favor. At least we don't need to worry about them being in danger. They would heal right away"

Ryuko: "Can you stop mentioning her?! She was a bitch, a heartless bitch"

(Y/N): "Well... she is heartless now. After we get her to crush it. So, what's on agenda today?"

Ryuko: "After we get from the park, I have... something to tell you hun" I look at her

(Y/N): "Huh? Ryuko, you're not sick or anything, right?" I check her forehead "Normal temperature. What's it?"

Ryuko: "Something.... good, yeah, really good" she smiles nervously. I meanwhile don't buy it

(Y/N): "Hmmm..."

Ryuko: "Relax and don't worry. You will be happy for sure" she starts walking away before winking at me. I shake my head with a smile "I will make sure kids are ready. Go fetch our car and let's go. Ichigo said she will gather everyone at 12"

(Y/N): "Sure thing honey!"

Ryuko enters our house while I get the car out. After that, I check if the kids' seats are still stable mounted. Later I get the car to the driveway. Five minutes later Ryuko walks out of the house with our kids in front of her. We secure them in their seats and drive towards New Honno

*timeskip*

After we got to the place I parked our car in the usual spot, near the New Parasite Republic government building, which concludes offices for Ichigo, our little president as well as the rest of the 'important people'. I get Hayami on my shoulders, our little angel loves it. She can always see everything from up there. Ryuko meanwhile gets Isshin's hand in hers, our son is not as adventurous as Hayami. After retrieving our kids we start walking towards the park, looking around. Once dead and destroyed city above the cliffs now is full of life. Parasites of different ages we rescued from Gardens, moved here, and now follow the peaceful lifestyle, worrying about getting killed any day like they were under APE. Some of them even started a family, meaning the propaganda APE inserted into their minds is nothing more than a dark chapter in human history now.

Ryuko: "You kids are excited to go to school?"

Isshin/Hayami: "No.../Yes!" Hayami gives us a grin while Isshin's head slumps forward in sadness. I laugh and Ryuko giggles

(Y/N): "Well, at least one of our kids got something from me"

Ryuko: "Except for your stupidity... Remember when they poked a bee nest?"

(Y/N): "I would say they got my bravery, not stupidity" I smirk, making Ryuko sigh

Ryuko: "Remind me why did I even marry you?"

(Y/N): "Because you wanted to. Remember? Your little girl's dream?"

Ryuko: "Don't..."

Hayami: "What was mommy's dream, dad?"

(Y/N): "She always wanted only two things" I smile "First of to marry me and second" I look back to Hayami "to have two great kids like you two"

Isshin: "Thanks dad. We know we're great" he gives me a smirk, making Ryuko facepalm and me laugh

Ryuko: "Isshin! Who taught you that?"

Isshin: "Dad did. He said girls love it" Ryuko growls and looks at me

(Y/N): "What?"

Ryuko: "'Girls love it'?! (Y/N)! Our son is seven!"

(Y/N): "And? The sooner he learns how the better"

Ryuko: "I can't believe you! Teaching our seven years old son how to flirt!"

(Y/N): "What? You wanted to do that?"

Ryuko: "NO! The point is that they're seven!"

(Y/N): "Okay... I may have kinda rushed it..."

Ryuki: "Kinda?! I can-" Hayami cut her off

Hayami: "Gaia!" I look forward only to see indeed, a black-haired girl with little red horns sitting in front of her parents. I put Hayami down and she and Isshin sprint to the girl, who meets them halfway

Gaia: "Hayami! Isshin!" kids hug each other and then run somewhere, leaving us alone

Ryuko: "Be careful kids! We'll be here!"

Twins: "Okay, mom!"

Gaia: "Yes auntie Ryuko!" I chuckle and turn to Hiro and Zero Two

(Y/N): "Seems like we got our kids some things to do. Mind us sitting here?"

Zero Two: "Not at all brother" she smiles and we sit down

Ryuko: "What's up guys? Anything happening in your job?"

Zero Two: "I'm writing another book. And the children in the library love it when I read to them" I smile

(Y/N): "Seems like your artistic spirit got some fans, with our kids being one of them. They absolutely love your book, Zero"

Ryuko: "There is no night we didn't read it to them"

Zero Two: "I'm glad they do. I hope you two like what I did there"

(Y/N): "You did a good job transferring our adventures to a picture book, Zero. Hiro, you and Mitsuru are still working on that tool for Ira and Zorome?"

Hiro: "Yeah... It's more complicated than we thought. But it's coming together"

(Y/N): "Good. I and Houka are still working on some more efficient solar panels so we don't have time to work on farming equipment" I look around, spotting the rest of our friends

Ira finally got the guts to ask Mako out. They got married two years after we defeated APE and now have three kids, much to Sukuyo's happiness with being a grandma

Koruno and Satsuki also got married. They sit with Ira and Mako while Satsuki holds their five years old daughter Yui on her legs. She is an exact copy of her mother, especially the eyebrows

To their left sits Goro and Ichigo who talk with Ikuno and Naomi. Our little president is in the middle of her second term in her office, with Goro taking the role of her Vice. Given that Strawberry is pregnant, I assume Goro will give up with his travels to be with his wife. Ikuno and Naomi meanwhile moved together. With Inumuta's effort, we got the cure for rapid aging among parasites. All while I tried to get Naomi her new robotic arm, which works to this day and serves its user.

The Nines learned how to live without maintenance. Despite us telling them to settle down, with Ichigo ordering them to, they refused. Now they act as some type of special forces, exploring our planet in search of other gardens all around the world

Nana and Hachi also got somewhat together. Being the last Adults alive they helped with organizing things for Satsuki and Ichigo. I look over to see Hachi basically melting when Hayami and Gaia approach him with flowers and dragging him away to play with them. Nana smiles at it, holding a toddler boy she and Hachi adopted not so long ago

Uzu and Nonon's relationship was a constant rollercoaster of breakups and getting back. They just can't stay together for longer, but somehow get back and that cycle continues to this day.

Kokoro, being the first mother of the new era, became somehow an example for other parasites. Despite raising Ai and her two other children she still held Nana like duties for other children we got to New Honno from the Gardens. After everything we've been through she is still the same positive and caring person. She sits on the grass, observing Mitsuru getting tackled by their son. He and Hiro are still working under me in engineering, but have teams of their own to lead and do things our society needs with cars being their biggest reinvention so far.

Miku took the role of a headmaster in a newly opened school. Despite all the responsibilities, she became one of the best teachers among kids. Zorome continued to do farming with Ira, and with technology growing up once again to help them, they got a lot of free time. Ira spends it with Mako and their children while Zorome took a part in the school, teaching kids a lot of different sports

Last but not least are our FranXX. All of them standing near the entrance to the beach, with their weapons in their hands. Closest to the entrance stand Strelitzia and Heliconia with their weapons crossed, making a gate. Next to Heliconia stands White Rose and to her left stands Argentea. On Strelitzia right is Delphinium, followed by Genista and Chlorophytum. Under each FranXX is a plaque with the name of the machine and its pilots. I walk to the Heliconia and read

(Y/N): "'Heliconia, piloted by Codes 004 and 006, (Y/N) and Ryuko. Squad 13's fearless guardians and saviors of the world' Really, Ichigo? Saviors of the world?" I shake my head and look up at Heliconia "It feels like yesterday since we last piloted since we defeated APE and Ragyo" Upon hearing some laugh I turn around to see Ryuko walking with our kids

Ryuko: "Here you are. I was wondering where you went"

(Y/N): "Hey sweetie"

Ryuko: "What're you doing here?"

(Y/N): "Just admire the sight. Get some old memories going" Ryuko looks at Heliconia

Ryuko: "Yup, a lot of memories. Anyway, kids wanted to go to the ocean, you coming?" I nod

(Y/N): "Sure" With that, we walked to the shore. Hayami and Isshin go to the water while I and Ryuko sit in the sand, observing them

Ryuko: "Just don't go too far!"

Twins: "Okay, mom!" They get into the water. Ryuko leans her head on my shoulder and I get my arm around her "Just like I dreamed" she smiles and closes her eyes "Perfect"

(Y/N): "Yup. If you would tell me we're gonna save the world twice, beat down your mother, a dictatorship, and be surrounded by our friends, family, and our two perfect kids, I would laugh a lot"

Ryuko: "You think we have a place for another one?" I chuckle

(Y/N): "What? You're pregnant?" Ryuko instead of answering me nods "What...?"

Ryuko: "We're having a third one on the way" she smirks "Hope you're happy" Instead of answering, I lean to her and kiss her with passion and love to which she melts instantly

(Y/N): "I love you Ryuko. You made me the happiest man on this planet" I smile

Ryuko: "And you made me the happiest woman on Earth, (Y/N). I love you too, my Reaper" We look at our kids "Hayami, don't run! You will hurt yourself!" We intertwine our hands and continue to look at our kids playing in the water.

After a while, we got back to the park. The rest of our day went by talking and laughing, but now it's time to go home. Tomorrow is a workday and kids start school, everyone needs to rest. After saying our goodbyes I and Ryuko make our way back to our car, with kids running ahead of us. After getting them in their seat I start driving. Ryuko meanwhile turned to them

Ryuko: "Isshin, Hayami, we have a surprise for you"

Twins: "Huh?"

Ryuko: "You're gonna have a little brother or sister" Both twins get their eyes wide open

Hayami: "We're gonna..."

Isshin: "Have a little sibling?" Ryuko nods with a smile

Twins: "Yes! Is it a boy or a girl?!" Ryuko giggles

(Y/N): "Don't pester your mother, kids. We still don't know, but..."

Ryuko: "No matter what, as long as we're a family, we can manage"

(Y/N): "No matter what" Ryuko pecks my cheek, making me smile as our car drives in the setting sun in the direction of our house
