*Y/N POV, next week, afternoon*

We are currently fighting some type of Moho class dog like klaxosaur.

Delphinium: "We need to bring it down!"

Heliconia: "Right away" Using our scythe we stab klaxosaur on it's side and making it tilt slightly to our side. Then Argentea dropped down right in front of klaxosaur, getting its attention

Argentea: "Now!" She get out of the way. Chlorophytum shoots it's front leg. Genista then appeared and cut it's second front leg. Klaxosaur falls to it's front. Delphinium jumps on top of it and stab it with her blades. After a while of struggling it opens it's mouth, exposing the core

Delphinium: "Finish it off, Strelitzia!"

Hiro: "Right!"

Zorome: "Sit back and relax, Hiro!"

Hiro and Delphinium: "Huh?" 

Meanwhile Heliconia just pinched her nose

Zorome: "This is my time to shine!" Argentea jumps to the klaxosaur "Gotcha now!" She stabbed her claws into it's core. Klaxosaur emit a screech and soon it's stopped moving

(Y/N): "I don't believe I will say this but... good job Zorome, Miku"

Zorome: "Thanks! See that? Piece of cake!"

Argentea: "S-Stop showing off and get us out of..." She was cut off by a lot of klaxosaur's blood flowing right on her

Heliconia: "You two alright?"

Argentea: "Bulbh bulbh..." soon the stream stopped and we saw Argentea all blue "Why, you..."

(Y/N): "Okay, haha. Guys, we should get back. I'm starving"

Futoshi: "Yeah me too"

Heliconia: "You can scream at him later Miku" With that we walked back to the hangar and get on our docks. Soon, shower above Argentea turned on and washed off the blood from her. Me and Ryuko exited Heliconia and looked to our left to see Miku and Zorome arguing, and the rest of our squad looking at them. 

Zorome: "Can we drop this already? I apologized, didn't I?"

Miku: "You did? You think that was an apology? You heart wasn't in it at all!" Hiro than walked out of Strelitzia

Zorome: "Oh? And how can you be so sure it wasn't? Can you read my mind? Can you?"

Miku: "Apologize right now!"

Zorome: "Over my dead body!"

Miku: "Grr! I'm gonna kill you! Ryuko, can you lend me your weapon again?!"

Zorome: "Not fair! (Y/N), let me us your scythe!"

(Y/N): "No way in hell we will let you two kill each other!" Then Nana shouted from below

Nana: "Kids, we need to talk. I bring good news" After that we all walked down from the bridge and into briefing room

Nana: "Tomorrow, all of you are to dress in your formal attire, and gather in front of the boarding house at 0900 hours. (Y/N) and Ryuko, you two are to be there in formal outfits too. Got that?" We nodded

Futoshi: "Formal?"

Ichigo: "What's happening?"

Nana: "Papa values what you've achieved in battle so far very highly" I could sense the annoyance and aversion in her voice " As such, though there is vary little precedent, all of you are going to be awarded medals"

Futoshi: "M-Medals?"

Zorome: "What are those?"

(Y/N): "Can I Nana?" she nodded "Medal is a thing you give to soldiers for their service. It's supposed to show gratitude and boost up morale"

Nana: "The ceremony will be held tomorrow, in Plantation Parliament HQ"

Ichigo: "Really, Nana?" Nana nodded

Goro: "Wait, does that mean..."

Futoshi: "W-We did it, Zorome! Aren't you glad?"

Zorome: "Huh? What are you talking about?"

Miku: "You idiot. This means we'll be allowed into the city!" Zorome was shocked for a while. He looked at Nana and she confirms it. Then he smiled widely and make a weird cheering noise. I chuckled and Miku covered her ears

Zorome: "Hooray!"

Miku: "My ears! Quit yelling!"

Zorome: "How can I not?"

Goro: "He must be really happy"

Futoshi: "As he should be. This is what he's been working toward"

(Y/N): "I still don't understand why he is so excited. It's just a couple buildings with people living in contamination"

Futoshi: "What do you mean (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "After being given immortality serum, a person immune system is weakened. They need to live in sterile condition, therefore we won't be allowed inside any building besides Parliament"

Ikuno: "That makes sense. Our job as parasites requires us to be outside the plantation. If we were to meet any adult, they could get seriously sick" With that I walked over to Zero Two, Hiro and Ryuko. Zero turned around and started walking out

Zero Two: "You two coming, Ryuko? (Y/N)?" she ask us while walking towards the door. I leaned over to Ryuko

(Y/N): "What's with her?"

Ryuko: "I don't know. She was normal before we returned from our last mission" I turned to Hiro

(Y/N): "You know anything about this Hiro?"

Hiro: "No. I was shocked too to see her like this" Then Nana spoke

Nana: "Wait, Zero Two" Zero stopped

Zero Two: "What?"

Nana: "This is convenient timing. I'll arrange for you to undergo tests while we're there"

Zero Two: "I hate those tests. I always feel lousy after I take them" she turned around with a smile "Besides, I'm in great shape right now" and with that she exited the room

Nana: "*sigh* Here I thought she'd grown more obedient since she teamed up with certain someone"

(Y/N): "Something is wrong with her Nana, I will try to talk with her after we return from our little trip to the city" Nana walked away, leaving me, Hiro and Ryuko

*timeskip, next day, morning*

I woke up as first from my roommates. I walked over to the dresser and talked with Neko

(Y/N): "Today you have a free day Neko. Have fun"

Neko: "Huh?"

(Y/N): "You don't want it?"

Neko: "(Y/N), are you cheating on me?" This shocked me

(Y/N): "What are you talking about Neko?"

Neko: "Do you have other clothes you wear besides me?"

(Y/N): "Except my nightwear and that formal uniform I wore before kissing with Plantation 26, no"

Neko: "So you have. I knew it! You will throw me away" she said hurt

(Y/N): "Shh. No I will not. You win. Do you remember how that formal uniform looked?"

Neko: "Yup, so you want that?"

(Y/N): "Yeah" I put her on and soon she turned into formal uniform "Better? You sometimes act like total tsundere"

Neko: "I. Am. Not"

(Y/N): "Yes you are. Anyway I should wake those two. So be quiet for a while"

Neko: "Okay" With that I walked over to Hiro

(Y/N): "Hiro, wake up" I checked the time on my communicator "We need to dress up and get down"

Hiro: "Five more minutes..." he murmured

(Y/N): "Man, you leaving me no choice" I grabbed his leg and drag him out, waking him up instantly

Hiro: "Okay, okay, I'm up. Stop dragging me"

(Y/N): "Go wash yourself and change. I will deal with Goro"

Goro: *snore*

Hiro: "Have fun, he is a heavy sleeper" with that he took his uniform and walked to the bathroom

(Y/N): "Goro, get up"

Goro: "Yes Ichigo, I will..." he sleep talked

 (Y/N): "Hmm. Oh I know" I snapped my fingers "I used my Life Fibers to create a clone of Ichigo. I commanded it to lightly lean over his face, like it was going to kiss him. Goro sensed it and soon shoot up in surprise

Goro: "I-Ichigo!" he blushed and I bursted off laughing. Then I flicked my hand and fibers flew back inside my body

(Y/N): "HAHAHA! Your face! Oh my God! Hahaha!"

Goro: "(Y/N), what was that? What did you do?" I calmed down

(Y/N): "Remember those ropes I used on Zero Two to save Ichigo?" He nodded "I can use them to create a clone of another person. I learned it not long ago when Miku wanted to talk about Zorome"

Goro: "Why would you do that?"

(Y/N): "Because you needed some encouragement to wake up. And with knowledge of your crush on Ichigo, it was the only thing I got in my mind"

Goro: "...You are an asshole sometimes..."

(Y/N): "I'm for sure. Now, go join Hiro in the bathroom. I'm going down to the lounge" With that I walked down to see Zorome leaning on the rails.

Futoshi: "He spent all morning checking himself out in the mirror"

Mitsuru: "I don't understand how you don't get bored of that"

Zorome: "Say what?"

Kokoro: "But you look better than usual"

Zorome: "Right? Right?"

(Y/N): "Hey everyone. Ready to see the city?" Zorome looked at me shocked

Zorome: "(Y/N), you are in this uniform too?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, what is so strange about that?"

Futoshi: "You and Ryuko usually dress differently than the rest of us"

Ichigo: "Where do you even get those clothes you usually wear?"

(Y/N): "Old cities, there are a lots of it there" I lied " Speaking of Ryuko, where is she?"

Ichigo: "Oh, she needed to do something. She will be right..." then Ryuko walked down, wearing parasite uniform too

'She changed Senketsu too. No way in hell would she stood putting this cape on by herself'

(Y/N): "Okay, everyone is here except for Hiro and Goro, they will be..." I was cut off by Hiro walking down with Goro right behind him

Hiro: "Sorry we are late"

(Y/N): "Okay, now we are all here. Nana and Hachi should be here soon" Then, like if I was some type of fortune teller, doors open, reviling Nana and Hachi

Nana: "Good morning. Everyone here?"

(Y/N): "Yes Nana, we are ready" 

Nana: "Good, follow us" 

We walked after them, and soon we were on a hallway to the city. Before us stood gate. Me, Ryuko, Nana and Hachi just walked through it. We stopped and looked behind to see the rest of Squad 13 standing there, not knowing what to do

Nana: "Come on. hurry up" Zorome was the first, with a battle cry he jumped through it. As he was falling I grabbed his hand, saving him

(Y/N): "You don't want your uniform to be all dirty, do you Zorome?"

Zorome: "Right. Thanks (Y/N)"

We walked to the elevator. We soon exited and went to some type of tram going through. Everyone was looking at the City with amazement. Me and Ryuko stood behind with Hiro and Zero Two

'It's nothing like Tokyo, Osaka or even Honno Town. Nothing is happening on it's streets. Just lifeless buildings and empty people'

I looked at it's central core glowing bright orange

'This place makes me sick' Hiro walked to the rest leaving me, Ryuko and Zero Two alone

Ryuko: "I hate this place"

(Y/N): "I do too"

Zero Two: "It's just like empty shells, lifeless"

 (Y/N): "If only you saw how Osaka was looking before this whole crisis Zero. I'm sure you would be happy to stay there"

Zero Two: "Whatever" she replied without any emotion

'What is wrong with her?'

We soon arrived at the HQ and ceremony begins. We stood in a row, with Nana and Hachi at each end

Leader: "You are the first children to ever be welcomed here. This is a truly great honor. I hope you consider this day a source of pride for a long time, live up to this honor bestowed upon you, and make even further contributions to this plantation"

'Yeah, so you and your buddies can sit and fart in the stool, soon it will change'

He then walked over to us. He stopped before Ichigo and pinned the medal on her cape

Leader: "Are you the team leader?" after that Ichigo stiffens up

Ichigo: "Yes! I'm Code 015!" I tried not to laugh

'Oh man, our Strawberry's never been more nervous'

Leader: "You have achieved great things. It shows that you're an excellent leader"

Ichigo: "Thank you very much! But I couldn't have done it alone! Everyone in the squad contributed!" she was still yelling. Me and Goro couldn't hold it any longer and laugh a little. Then he started going to everyone, stopping before me and Ryuko

Leader: "Thank you, Reapers. We are honored that the two of what APE consider the strongest pilots decided to join Plantation 13 and defend it like it was their own" me and Ryuko just nodded and he pinned medals to our capes. He then walked to Zero Two

Leader: "It also a great honor to host a former Nine" He turned to Hiro "And you've done well to live up to all the expectations placed upon you"

Hiro: "Th-Thank you very much" Leader then proceed to give the rest of medal

Leader: "Thank you for defending us adults. Papa is overjoyed by what you've done. Your efforts have been splendid, too. Keep it up." he stopped before Zorome

Zorome: "I-I will, sir! Thank you very much!" He extended his hand, but leader just looks at it for a while and walks away. Then we walk outside the 'hall' of Plantation 13's inner city

Hachi: "Well, I'm going to visit R&D before I head back. Take care of the children"

Nana: "Got it"

Zorome: "What? That was it?"

Nana: "Well, yes"

Goro: "That was over too soon"

Futoshi: "I was expecting some kind of feast"

Ikuno: "Too bad"

Miku: "Hey, since we have the chance, why don't we walk back?"

Kokoro: "Agreed!"

Ichigo: 'It wasn't that far. We can walk, right, Nana?" she looked at the trio of girls giving her some type of puppy eyes

'Poor Nana, no one would stand a chance against that'

Nana: "Oh, all right. But stay close" we started walking towards elevator. Everyone is looking around in awe

Zorome: "This is so great. When I become an adult someday, I'll get to live here too, right"

'More appropriate word would be "if" he become an adult'

Ichigo: "But I just can't picture us 'becoming adults,' for some reason"

Futoshi: "Same here, actually"

Mitsuru: "There's no proof that we'll be able to, anyway"

Zorome: "That's because you guys have no imagination. Ryuko and (Y/N) had a chance to become adults, so we have a chance too"

Ikuno: "Yeah, and they refused"

Zorome: "They are stupid. Who would not want to live here?"

(Y/N): "Your image of the city is so corrupted, Zorome"

Zorome: "Huh?"

(Y/N): "This is not a paradise. Paradise would be living outside, breathing air not filtered three times before it gets to you. Paradise would be living your own life and making your own decisions. I sometimes wish me and Ryuko stayed outside and on the run. Don't get me wrong, you guys are fun to have around, but who wouldn't want to live near the beach we were after kissing?"

Kokoro: "I'm sure it would be lovely, (Y/N). To wake up everyday with that beautiful sight" I left the group and walked back to Ryuko, Hiro and Zero Two. I get my hand and intertwined it with Ryuko's. We walk for a while in silence until Hiro spoke

Hiro: "Zero Two, you called this city lifeless before, remember? What did you mean by that?"

Zero Two: "Exactly what I said"

(Y/N): "Okay Zero, what's happening?"

Hiro: "Yeah, something's wrong Zero Two?"

Ryuko: "We are worried"

Zero Two: "It's nothing. I just couldn't care less about this place" We walked back to the elevator. Soon we were in Mistilteinn where Nana thanks us again for service. I walked up to my room and changed Neko back to her standard usual clothes config. Then I walked over to girl's wing and knocked on the door of the room where Ichigo, Ikuno and Ryuko lives.

Ichigo: "One moment" I wait for a while until she opened the door "Oh (Y/N), how can I help you?"

(Y/N): "Hey, is Ryuko there?"

Ryuko: "Yup, what's up honey?" she jumped from her top bunk

(Y/N): "You want to go for a walk around the forest?"

Ryuko: "Sure, it's not like I have something better to do" 

Ichigo: "Have fun you two"

(Y/N): "We will. So, what do you say, love?" I said while offering her my hand

Ryuko: "Let's" She get my hand and we walked out. We stroll for a while and chat about some stuff "And then I was like 'Hey, Ichigo?' and she was like 'Huh?' and then she got bombarded with a lot of pillows. We started to throw them at each other and soon it evolved into a pillow fight. She accidentally hit Ikuno. Oh my god, she was destroying us. She may be quiet but she know how to use pillows"

(Y/N): "Seems like you had a little girl's night?"

Ryuko: "Yeah, us three started to laugh after we got tired. Ichigo then proposed to involve Miku and Kokoro next time"

(Y/N): "Glad you are getting even closer to the girls..."

Ryuko: "What about you?"

(Y/N): "Huh?"

Ryuko: "Are you getting along with the guys?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, me, Hiro and Goro are getting along pretty well. Zorome and Futoshi are goofballs but we are good, the only one who is ice cold, not only to me but to everyone is Mitsuru"

Ryuko: "Yeah, but from what I heard in the city he was closest to the truth."

(Y/N): "What about Ichigo and Futoshi? They seemed ready. All we need is a push"

Ryuko: "They are but we need more of them to get it. The toughest to crack would be Zorome"

(Y/N): "Yeah. I think Hiro is slowly getting it too, thanks to Zero"

Ryuko: "Speaking about her, we should check her up. She really isn't herself now" We walked back and spotted everyone sitting around the lounge

(Y/N): "Hey everyone, what is happening?"

Miku: "Zorome is missing, that idiot"

Ryuko: "Huh? I thought he was walking in front of you"

Ikuno: "He was. But we later thought he was in the back with you"

(Y/N): "God dammit. When will he learn?"

Miku: "I know, right!"

Then Ichigo entered 

Ichigo: "They found Zorome, apparently"

(Y/N): "He better pray me or Miku don't get our hands on him"

Miku: "That jerk... making us all worry. (Y/N), I got this." She stood up "I sentence him to clean the bath for one week!"

(Y/N): "Heh, that will do. Ichigo, what do you think?"

Ichigo: "I think it's a good idea. Maybe he will learn not to wander by himself"

Ryuko: "You can tell him it's either this or (Y/N) will make him run around Mistilteinn again, Miku"

Miku: "Again?"

(Y/N): "Once after this little war we had, and once after he rushed Argentea into that jellyfish klaxosaur last week"

*next day, late afternoon*

I was sitting in the lounge, with Ryuko's head on my lap. I'm currently playing with her hair. We hear whistle coming from the baths and saw Miku walking inside there. Then we heard her and Zorome arguing

Miku: "Hey! Take this seriously!"

Zorome: "Huh?! What are you keeping watch for?!"

Miku: "You won't take this seriously unless I do, and you might get lost again"

Zorome: "Like I would get lost here!"

I looked down at Ryuko

(Y/N): "And when I though they could finally get along, they start bickering again"

Ryuko: "That's who they are" We then heard a splash and see Zorome running out of the bath and drenched Miku right behind him. We laugh at their antics

(Y/N): "Haha. Run Zorome!"

Ryuko: "Get him Miku, hahaha!" then Miku stopped in front of us

Miku: "Ryuko, can you lend me your weapon?"

Ryuko: "You want to use my Scissor Blades? Hmmm. Nope"

Miku: "Pleaseee" she begged

(Y/N): "How about this" I got up and started the fire around my hands. then I hover them around Miku, drying her clothes "Now, go get him girl"

Miku: "Thanks (Y/N). Zorome! You are so dead when I find you!" and she went back to killing Zorome I meanwhile sat down and Ryuko got her hand on mine and leaned on my shoulder

Ryuko: "I really hope to see them getting together"

(Y/N): "They will come around. You know what they say, opposites attract"

Ryuko: "Heh. Maybe they need a little push~"

(Y/N): "You want to play matchmaker? 

Ryuko: "Maybe~" I sighed

(Y/N): "What do I do with you?"

Ryuko: "You love me and you know it" I turned to her and we share a quick kiss

(Y/N): "Yeah, I do" She leaned on my shoulder again and started snoring "Eh, Ryuko?"

Ryuko: "I can't hear you, I'm sleeping" she sung

(Y/N): "Okay, guess I won't move. I don't want my sweet Blueberry to wake up" she smiled "Goodnight Ryuko, I love you" I decided to play along. I put my head on her's and went for a quick nap.

Ryuko: "Goodnight (Y/N), I love you too" 

Which turned out to be until next morning

'The hell tired me so much?'

A/N: "And here we are. I kinda didn't had any idea what to write in this chapter, because the episode mostly focused on Zorome getting lost in the City. Next chapter should be longer so see you soon.
