*Y/N POV*

Some days have passed since we first cooked together. After that our days went by usual, first some work, then breakfast, return to work, bath, dinner outside, free time we spend together and later supper and night time. Ryuko did a talk with Kokoro to not try anything that was in her book. Given they are still 15, it was too early to have a child. Second thing, having babies is banned subject. It could end with them being killed, and their child to be taken away.

Now I'm sitting downstairs, after checking our supplies and bringing crates to the kitchen I went on a brake. Then I heard the doors opening. I turned around to see...

Alpha: "Hey" he waved

(Y/N): "There it is... the fuckening" I murmured under my nose

Ichigo: "Why are you guys here?" I stood up and walked over to Ryuko

Alpha: "To check on you, on Papa's orders"

Goro: "Papa's. So we weren't cast aside?"

Alpha: "Of course not! In fact, Papa has been worried sick about you"

'Of for fuck sake! We nearly get to our goal, and then this little fucker comes here and destroys everything' I looked around, Hiro and Zero Two seems not to buy it

Miku: "Th-Thank goodness!"

Zorome: "What the heck? Let us know sooner then!"

Alpha: "Would you mind readying rooms for us?"

Ichigo: "You want to stay here?"

Alpha: "I said I'd taken a liking to you guys, remember?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, right..."

Delta: "Oh Omega, don't be like that"

*timeskip*

After getting Nines to their rooms, Alpha took me, Ryuko and Zero Two to the forest

Alpha:" How long are you three going to keep playing human? You know you'll never be the same as them" We didn't said anything "They certainly are a unique squad, but they're hopelessly imperfect. They're fundamentally different from three of you and us, Iota, Psi, Omega"

Ryuko: "Ryuko"

(Y/N): "(Y/N)"

Zero Two: "Zero Two"

Alpha: "Huh?"

Zero Two: "Me name's Zero Two"

(Y/N): "And we told you, we are not part of the Nines, not now"

Ryuko: "Not ever"

Alpha: "You're throwing away the Special Forces codenames Papa gave you?"

Zero Two: "My darling gave me this name. It's important to me"

Ryuko: "And we want nothing to do with him"

Alpha looked at us and then started to laugh. We walked away from him

Alpha: "Well, I wish you three luck... Iota, Psi and Omega"

The rest of the day I kept an eye on the Nines.

'We can't contact Nana and Hachi now, as well as we can't contact uncle. This is turned from zero to hundred in a second' 

I walked to the room me and Ryuko share. We knew Nines are looking around so I used some Life Fibers to jam our doors close shut. 

Ryuko: "This sucks. Alpha and his lackeys getting here destroyed everything" she growled

(Y/N): "At least they don't burgle into our life too much. And I have a feeling something happens"

Ryuko: "Feeling or not, we still have to help them. We need to show them who Nines really are"

(Y/N): "Maybe they will do it by themselves" I smirked "Alpha will need a little push, tomorrow we will show them" Ryuko got a sly grin on her face

Ryuko: "So, you are saying...?"

(Y/N): "Yup. Full show of affection from tomorrow. He will be pissed"

Ryuko: "Oh man, I cant wait to kick some ass like in the old times!"

(Y/N): "Easy there, we can't kill them, yet. Goodnight Ryuko, tomorrow we have some elites to piss off"

Ryuko: "Right, Goodnight" I put out the candle and we went to sleep

*timeskip, next day*

Me and Ryuko started our plan. To be honest we only hugged from the side, or Ryuko got her head on my shoulder. But it was enough to earn disgusted look from the elites, much to mine and Ryuko's pleasure. Squad 13 is in the lounge, me and Ryuko joined them soon. Then Zorome entered the room 

Zorome: "Guys, you aren't gonna believe this!"

(Y/N): "Calm down Zorome, what's got you so worked up"

Zorome: "Mitsuru and *pant* Kokoro"

Ryuko: "What about them?"

Zorome: "I was going to the greenhouse to tell Mitsuru he is on the water job. I got there and inside were Kokoro and Mitsuru. Kokoro tried to get Mitsuru's shirt off and she said about boys and girls having different bodies and putting them together" Me and Ryuko were shocked. I leaned over to her

(Y/N): "I thought you talked with her about it. Especially with Nines here, things will go bad..." I whispered

Ryuko: "I talked with her! I told her to not try it for now, because it could end for her badly. Guess she didn't cared" she whispered back

Zorome: "I just thought you guys should know. Also, If a boy and a girl getting clingy is the cool thing to do?" they all looked at me and Ryuko

Ryuko: "Ehh. Guys, it's cool if you are with that person for a long time as lovers"

(Y/N): "But it's not cool right now, especially with the Nines living here"

Ryuko: "So don't try it" Then Kokoro entered and everybody started to ask her questions

Goro: "Okay, guys, calm down. We should wait for Mitsuru"

We waited for five minutes and then Hiro and Mitsuru entered the room

Miku: "Oh, there he is"

Ichigo: "Zorome told us about you and Kokoro. Mitsuru"

Ikuno: "I have to say, I'm not really surprised"

(Y/N): "Seems like we have a new couple in Squad 13"

Ryuko: "Happy future you two"

Zorome: "All I did was ask if a boy and a girl getting clingy was the cool thing to do!" I looked at Futoshi forcing a smile

'He is still not over Kokoro... Poor guy'

Miku: "Shut up, you big baby!" Then Futoshi grabbed Mitsuru by his collar 

Futoshi: "H-Hey, have you k-kissed? Have you two kissed?!"

Mitsuru: "W-Well..." Me and Goro stood up to eventually calm situation down

Futoshi: "N-No! My Kokoro!"

Ikuno: "Settle down"

Futoshi: "B-But if the two of them are happy, I... I..." The he was cut off by the nines entering the room

Alpha: "Hey, guys" we turned around and he showed us the book titled 'Your first Childbirth' "Do you recognize this?" Kokoro take a sharp breath

'Fuck... guess I get my weapon ready...' I get my hand in Neko's pocked and grabbed Crimson Needle. Ryuko did the same, putting her hand in Senketsu skirt's pocket

Alpha: "Looks like you do. Mind giving us an explanation, Code 556? You're the one who dropped this, aren't you? But this is really strange. It wouldn't have been provided in the study here, and it surely doesn't belong to you. What's the meaning of this?"

Miku: "Huh? What is he talking about?"

Zorome: "What's this book about?"

Mitsuru: "Well..."

Kokoro: "I'm sorry for not telling you all" She turned to us "I want to make a baby" At this Alpha glared at Kokoro, only for me and Ryuko to return it with twice more anger

Miku: "A baby? Like animal babies?"

Futoshi: "And how exactly would you make one?"

Alpha: "Wow. But you do know that Papa's banned that, right?"

Zorome: "Huh? Really? Sounds like trouble!"

Goro: "Did she tell you anything?" He turned to Mitsuru, who just shake his head

Kokoro: "Y-You know" she turned back to Nines "is that really such a bad thing? I mean, that's how the adults, we, and all humans were born"

Futoshi: "What? Didn't Papa create us?"

Kokoro: "No" she turned back to us "We are born just like any other animal. It's what we have done since ancient times"

'Not exactly accurate, but Kokoro at least know now'

Kokoro: "That's how all living things have kept their species going for thousands of years. So, well... That must be why we have boys and girls. This may be selfish of me, but I want to leave a mark... leave something behind before I'm gone"

'Congratulation Kokoro, you just understood what is important in life. Friends, love and family. Now, the rest'

Alpha: "Leave a mark?"

Kokoro: "Yes" she turned to him "We've lived our lives believing our only purpose was to ride the FranXX into battle. But you know what?" She turned back to us "That might not be true! We could carry new lives and leave them here for the future. When I learned that, I was so happy..." Alpha cut her off

Alpha: "Disgusting" Kokoro turned to him "You are absolutely disgusting. This is ridiculous" he took a step forward "Humans have evolved and cast their reproductive functions aside in the process. Reject that, and we'll all go back to conforming to one gender"

Kokoro: "B-But..."

Alpha: "Doesn't that thought often cross your mind? That gender is a pain, an annoyance that's only tolerated to operate the FranXX? That's all it is after all"

(Y/N): "That's it Alpha!" I used my Life Fibers to tie every Nine in the room, me and Ryuko walked over to them

Ryuko: "You think that genders are pain, huh?! You think that society would be better without them?! Guess what, you are dead wrong!"

Alpha: "*sigh* Humans also cast away their tendency to be ruled by emotions like that. Because it serves zero purpose in life. I always knew you two are like that" I get him untied and grabbed him by his neck, he tried to get out but to no effort

(Y/N): "I'm done with you Alpha. Say one more word and I will strangle you you blonde fuck!" I then get my hand on fire, burning him slightly "Or maybe you want to get burned alive? Huh?"

Ryuko: "Tell us one thing why we shouldn't kill you all, right here, right now?"

(Y/N): "You overstayed your welcome. Next time we see any of you near our squad..."

Ryuko: "We will cut your heads off where you stand! Capichie?!" I threw him on the floor and he started coughing. I then tie him again and me and Ryuko took them outside. "From what we know you all are clones of Zero Two, hmmm. Let's see if you all are as acrobatic as she"

(Y/N): "What do you think Ryuko? We will teach them how to fly?"

Ryuko: "You always know what I think, love" She picked Delta while I picked Epsilon

(Y/N): "Don get us wrong, Delta, Eps, but it was your biggest mistake coming here" We throw them towards where their ship is. We continue to do this until the only left was Alpha "And to make you remember" I get my hand on fire and burned his cheek, while he screamed in pain. "Now, you can tell Papa that we are coming for his head, and he better be ready" Ryuko grabbed his right side while I grabbed his left

Ryuko and (Y/N): "GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR HOME!" with that we threw him to the rest of Nines and we dusted off our hands. We entered the house, only to see Nana angrily tapping her foot

(Y/N): "Hey Nana. What's up? We just threw the trash out" Nana continued to give us an angry look "We are in trouble, aren't we?"

Nana: "In big ones. Kokoro, Ryuko, (Y/N), you are coming with me"

We followed her and soon we were in Hachi's office

Nana: "*sigh* This is why I didn't want to let the Nines in. They could seriously mess up our plans"

(Y/N): "Let me guess, APE ordered you to let them in?"

Hachi: "That's correct (Y/N). And we couldn't just turn them away. It could rise suspicions"

Nana: "Now, that things have come to this, we ought to put an end to this training"

Kokoro: "What do you mean?"

Ryuko: "Can I? Hachi? Nana?" they nodded "It was supposed to be final training to Squad 13 to see if you are ready. Doctor ordered Nana and Hachi to didn't make any contact with you. Me and (Y/N) were reporting to them, as well as to Doctor, with how are you doing. They also monitored us the entire time"

Nana: "We also know what you were trying to do with Mitsuru. Kokoro, you can't do that until we are free"

Kokoro: "Free?"

(Y/N): "It's time for stage 2. Kokoro, you know me and Ryuko are from old world" She nodded nervously "We were sent here not to help with Klaxosaurs, but to help with APE"

Kokoro: "APE?"

Ryuko: "They destroyed our planet, destroyed our society. Normally if you ever wanted a baby you could do it any time. It would be your choice. But you saw how Alpha reacted. I told you not to try this mainly because I had a feeling something like that would happen"

Hachi: "Code 556, sorry, I meant Kokoro, us four here are not only caretakers and your friends"

Nana: "We are here to get you all ready, ready to bring our planet back to it's glory"

(Y/N): "We are under direct orders from Dr.FranXX. He is our head of operation. Him, Ryuko's sister and our friends are planning and building everyday, to make sure we will succeed"

Ryuko: "And Stage 2 means leaving the plantation, with all of you. If what Hiro told us was true, then they should attack Gran Crevasse. This will be our chance to escape" Kokoro just sat there, listening

(Y/N): "I already have a virus ready. When I upload it to APE network, it should shut down every plantation in 10 kilometers perimeter"

Hachi: "(Y/N), together with Dr.Inumuta already found some holes in their safety systems"

(Y/N): "I also destroyed any tracking devices inside Squad 13's FranXX. Heliconia never had ones by the way"

Ryuko: "Kokoro, how are you feeling about this?"

Kokoro: "I just have one question if I could... Where are we going?"

(Y/N): "Hehe. Remember our talk in the city, Kokoro?"

Kokoro: "Yhm. So we are going to that city near the ocean?" she asked with sparkly eyes us four nodded with smiles

(Y/N): "We want the best for our friends, and our kids"

Kokoro: "Kids? So you and Ryuko...?"

Ryuko: "Not now, but if we destroy APE then we planned to have some"

(Y/N): "There is really more to life than piloting the FranXX. Having fun with friends, starting a family, having kids. But we need everyone to go with us. We will leave the plantation in four to five days"

Hachi: "Return to the dorm Kokoro. Ryuko and (Y/N) will give you orders soon"

Kokoro walked out, and we stayed with Nana and Hachi. Nana was holding her head

Ryuko: "Nana? What's wrong?"

Nana: "Just a small headache. I will be fine"

(Y/N): "Can I check something" I walked to Nana and my Life Fibers get on her head "Nana, did you and Hachi were parasites before?"

Hachi: "We were"

(Y/N): "Nana, someone wiped your memories. Let me... and done"

Nana: "I... remember... *sniff* Code 010, my partner *sniff* he got killed and they didn't let me grief *sniff*" Ryuko went over to her and hugged her

Ryuko: "Nana, I know what you feel. I almost lost (Y/N) two times. You have us, you have Hachi. They will pay for what they did"

Nana: "*sniff* Thank you, Ryuko. Thank you (Y/N)"

Hachi: "We now need to get Squad 13 to escape. Ryuko, (Y/N), you are dismissed"

*meanwhile, Klaxosaur's Territory, Blue volcano 3rd POV*

On a landscape a single drone was flying. Soon it entered the volcano and flew through it corridors. After a five minutes of flying it stopped right before two giant snake like klaxosaurs and what it seamed a klaxosapien. Behind it lies corpses of two APE council members. Then a projector on the drone turned on, reviling Dr.FranXX

???: "It was a wise choice not to come in person this time, human. You would have lost more than your arm. Your mere presence here after you took the Gran Crevasse is an insult. State your business"

Dr.FranXX: "Her Royal Majesty" he bowed "I have an offer that will be most beneficial to you, the end of APE" he looked up to see Princess's reaction.

Klaxosaur Princess: "Speak"

Dr.FranXX: "One of my test teams is about to rebel against them. APE have their hands busy and I know what their plan is"

Klaxosaur Princess: "You think that I will believe you, foolish human? You were the one who invented those abominations from the remains of our great civilization that are used to kill my brethren every day"

Dr.FranXX: "They are not alone, Princess. My nephew and his partner are helping me. They once saved the world"

Klaxosaur Princess: "Don't be stupid, human. Both Crimson Knight and raven haired Heroine did it 150 years ago. They should be dead by now"

Dr.FranXX: "But they're not, Princess. Both of them are alive, as well as those who helped them defeat Ragyo Kiryuin" she looked up to him "You can see for yourself. Surely, you can send some scouts to confirm things I'm telling you. And if what I say is true, then maybe we can come to terms?"

Klaxosaur Princess: "Very well. If what you are saying is true, I'm willing to discuss. I also demand to see both your nephew and his partner, personally"

Dr.FranXX: "If I can be so bold, your highness, why is that?"

Klaxosaur Princess: "Don't worry human, I mean both of them no harm. I wish to thank them for saving our planet. Now, let's discuss in the details about your plan..."

*back to Plantation 13, (Y/N) POV*

Me and Ryuko returned to the boarding house. We entered the lounge to see everyone minus Kokoro and Mitsuru

Miku: "...I wish she'd talked to me about it"

(Y/N): "About what Miku?"

Miku: "(Y/N)? Ryuko? You are back?"

(Y/N): "Yeah"

Ryuko: "We only had a small talk with Nana and Hachi about what happened before"

Ikuno: "But where is Kokoro?"

(Y/N): "She... didn't take it well what Alpha said to her..."

Ichigo: "Is like I said. Special forces were not taught manners"

(Y/N): "They got what they deserved. Let them show their ugly faces here again..."

Ryuko: "We will be more than happy to kill them"

(Y/N): "Killing aside, what are you talking about guys?"

Miku: "We were discussing things from before. Do you think we really can make babies?"

Zorome: "Who knows? We weren't taught about it"

Goro: "And if Papa didn't create us, how exactly were we born?"

Zorome: "Again, how are we supposed to know?!"

Goro: "What do you think, Hiro?"

Hiro: "I'm not sure. But we may have the potential to do something Papa hasn't told us about"

Goro: "What about you, Ryuko? (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "You all can have babies. But a child is a fruit of two people's love. You can't just take a girl or a boy from somewhere and have a kid with them"

Ryuko: "We will tell you about it later, when we move from here"

(Y/N): "Hiro, birds flew out of the cage"

Hiro: "So, we are starting this?"

Ichigo: "Starting what? Hiro, what are you talking about?"

(Y/N): "Guys, do you think that after today Alpha won't tell Papa what happened?"

Ryuko: "I'm sure he will. They won't let 'dangerous units' like me, (Y/N) or now Kokoro to walk free"

(Y/N): "We told you how was Earth in our times. You know why it's like that now? It's because of APE. Because of them numerous kids got killed. Because of them you all never had a chance to decide about your future"

Ryuko: "We are planning to bring the Earth back to it's former glory and oppose APE" this shocked everyone

Miku: "Oppose Papa and the rest? But why?"

Ryuko: "Miku, you all saw what happened with Squad 26..."

(Y/N): "When I was looking for parts to repair our FranXXs I have to open one cockpit. Inside of it... were two kids. Not like you, they were 10 at best. Their bodies massacred. I still want to throw up because of it" this shocked everyone

Hiro: "(Y/N) and Ryuko were sent here to help us understand it. That Papa and the rest are evil"

(Y/N): "Papa lately was getting more desperate. And sending kids crossed the line. We wanted to wait a little more, but today's visit from Nines changed things. We won't force you to go with us" Then Zero Two and Hiro walked to us

Zero Two: "But us four are going"

Hiro: "They did this to our planet, they did God only knows what to Zero Two"

Ryuko: "They did it to everyone. You think previous Squad 13 died in battle? No, they used protocol 32 on them"

Ichigo: "No..."

(Y/N): "So, let me ask, who is willing to fight for our planet, for our freedom and our future?" at this Ichigo stood up and walked to us

Ichigo: " I told you guys, I want nothing bad happening to any of you. I think staying here will get us killed sooner than later. And if (Y/N) and Ryuko are right, we will have a chance to live our own lives like we want" After that Goro and Ikuno also walked to us

Goro: "I'm willing to help you too. We are a family, aren't we?" and Ikuno just nodded

Miku: "This is nonsense, right Zorome?" She looked over to Zorome, who have his head down

Zorome: "Miku... Remember when I was lost in the city? I... met an adult and she told me... that us parasites will never become adults"

(Y/N): "Zorome... you knew the truth but still wanted to follow Papa. Why?"

Zorome: "I... I was stupid, alright! I thought that these were just single cases... that he still care about us. But... Now I know better..."

Ryuko: "So, what do you say? Our little rebellion will need an ace pilot like Zorome the Great" she smiled at him

Zorome: "Right, Miku... are you going...?"He turned to the redhead

Miku: "If you are going, so am I. Someone needs to keep you in check" she scoffed

Zorome: "Miku..." he started crying and hugged himself to her

(Y/N): "Alright, so that only leaves" I turned to Futoshi "Futoshi..."

Ryuko: "You know that Papa will send soldiers to take Kokoro. He will mostly order to have her memories erased"

Hiro: "They did it once to me and you all saw what happened" then he looked at us determined

Futoshi: "I'm in"

(Y/N): "Great. So, now some basic information. We will escape the plantation during their second attack at Gran Crevasse in five days. We will need to get food as well as water and medical supplies to our FranXX" then Ichigo get her hand up

Ichigo: "How are we suppose to store it?"

Ryuko: "Every FranXX have some space behind stamen's seat. We will leave it there"

(Y/N): "Second thing, during our escape I will send a virus to APE network, disabling every plantation in 10 kilometers perimeter. It should let us escape without any complications. Then, we will travel to our new home"

Zorome: "So, where?"

Ryuko: "City near the beach we stayed for vacation" at this everyone cheered happily

Zorome: "Really?! Awesome! You heard that Futoshi?" 

Futoshi: "Yeah! Ocean, we are coming back!" we laughed at their antics

(Y/N): "Haha, it's good to see you are so up for this"

Ryuko: "We should call Nana and Hachi"

Squad 13: "What?!"

(Y/N): "You heard right. Nana and Hachi are also a part of Doctor's plans"

Ichigo: "So, all this time?"

Ryuko: "Yes, this month without contact was supposed to get you guys ready to rebel"

(Y/N): "And now look at you. We are sitting here, discussing about our future, future we will decide by ourselves. Future for next generations to live in a better world"

Miku: "Yeah, future..."

Zero Two: "I'm so envious"

(Y/N): "Why Zero? You are still a part of our family. We all will fight for our and our children's future"

Zero Two: "That's because I can't have kids. My body can't do that"

Ryuko: "Why?"

Zero Two: "I'm one of my kind. You, Ryuko, have (Y/N), who is just like you. I however am alone..."

Hiro: "No, Zero Two. I need to show you something" he moved his hair up and we saw small blue horns going from his forehead

Ikuno: "Oh my..."

Zero Two: "Darling..." she then hugged herself to him

(Y/N): "Zero Two, our little sis... we told you, you two will have kids" then Nana enter the room

Nana: "Okay kids. I heard from Ryuko you all know now. We will move in five days, better pack your things and don't forget anything. Because, we will not be coming back"

(Y/N): "And bring your swimsuits too, we are moving near the beach for a good reason. Squad 13, mission to save the world will be hard, but we will emerge victorious! Now, get to your beds, get some sleep and we will talk more tomorrow. Dismissed" with that everyone walked up, talking about what they will do in their new life. Leaving us with Nana

Ryuko: "Any news from Doctor, Nana?"

Nana: "He contacted Klaxosaur Princess. She requested you and (Y/N) to see her personally"

(Y/N): "I don't know what she would want from us, but okay"

Ryuko: "It's still nice to see they are so eager to join us. I knew that Hiro would, but Zorome? I though he will be the hardest to crack"

(Y/N): "Kokoro already knows. And Mitsuru was one of the first to notice Papa is a hack, so he shouldn't be a problem"

Nana: "Good to hear that. Goodnight you two"

(Y/N) and Ryuko: "Night Nana!"Nana walked off, and me and Ryuko entered our room

Ryuko: "Everything went smoothly... Hey (Y/N)"

(Y/N): "Yeah?"

Ryuko: "I was thinking..."

(Y/N): "About our kids?"

Ryuko: "Yeah"

(Y/N): "You want to talk about it?"

Ryuko: "Yes. I had a dream last night. Me, you and both of our kids, walking on the shore, water hitting our legs while they giggle and search for shells. We were smiling happily while observing them play in the water"

(Y/N): "Wow, ultra realistic dream. Maybe you predicted the future dear?"

Ryuko: "If yes then I would take it. Hayami had my eyes and your hair, but with my highlight in her bang. Isshin had your eyes and orange spot in his hair, but his hair color was like mine. They were both so cute and perfect" She said with excitement

(Y/N): "Haha, like a little girl in a candy store. We will see what we can do about it when the time comes. Now, let's go to sleep. Tomorrow we will start preparations. Goodnight Blueberry" I lied down on the bed

Ryuko: "Goodnight honey, I love you"

(Y/N): "And I love you too, sweetie" with that we went to sleep, unknown of a small bird like klaxosaur flying above, observing the whole plantation
