Next day after me and Ryuko become a part of Squad 13, we went went to the edge of Mistilteinn to observe connecting of our plantation with Plantation 26. 

Computer: "Plantation 13 will now carry out the kissing with Plantation 26. I repeat: Plantation 13 will now carry out the kissing with Plantation 26."

Zorome: "Say, what is 'kissing' anyway?"

Ryuko: "Really Zorome? We just told you guys yesterday"

Miku: "Besides, you were watching all this time without knowing a thing?"

(Y/N): "Dunce..."

Zorome: "Shut up! Do you know all about it?" He shouted to Miku

'Just like Nonon and Uzu'

Miku: "I-It's when two plantations are stuck together, right?"

Kokoro: "That's not all"

Ryuko: "At least Kokoro listens...

Ikuno: "It's a transfer of magma fuel reserves from one plantation to another through that big pipe"

Mitsuru: "That fuel is essential for both the adults and us to live" Squad 13 turned to me and Ryuko for confirmation. We nodded

(Y/N): "That's right. And remember that it's also attracts a lot of klaxosaurs nearby"

Zorome: "Right! We can show Papa and the adults what we can do!"

After our little competition, which Futoshi somehow lost, we went to our rooms to dress up. 

*timeskip, ceremony*

Me and Ryuko are standing with the rest of Squad 13. They are amazed by all this attention. Knowing Zorome he must have a time of his life. We are wearing parasites uniforms because we left Senketsu and Neko in the laundry. After we are done with this bullshit I was going to iron Neko as I promised. Both Plantation's 13 and 26 leaders started their speech

Leader: "Boys and girls! The dreadful klaxosaurs are sure to attack the magma reserves in great numbers..." I turned off

(Y/N): "Only you can save the world, blah blah blah. He sounded like Aikuro"

Ryuko: "Just without stripping..."

After his speech we walked down the hall of flags. Then Hiro stopped and looked up

(Y/N): "Hiro, come on!"

Hiro: "Right!" and with that we all went to the house to rest before this

*timeskip, next morning (a lot of timeskips happening, sorry)*

After retrieving Neko from the laundry I went to sleep. Currently I was dreaming about some weird place with all Mako's speeches playing at once. And it was awful. Thankfully Goro woke us up

Goro: "Hey, Hiro. (Y/N). Wake up"

I yawned and jumped down

(Y/N): "Morning Goro. I looked behind to see Hiro still sleeping. Goro walked over to me"

Goro: "Hiro. It's morning. Rise and shine."

(Y/N): "Hey Hiro. Wake up" Goro went to touch his face only to back his hand instantly

(Y/N): "What is..." I touched Hiro to see he is in cold sweat. Then he wakes up and we went to wash ourselves

Goro: "Are you okay? Your body was burning up like crazy"

Hiro: "I'm perfectly fine. If anything, I feel really light on my feet"

(Y/N): "Cold sweat and a fever. Yeah right..."

Goro: "(Y/N) have a point. You are not lying, are you?"

Hiro: "Of course. I actually want to go train right now"

Goro: "Okay, then" and with that Hiro left, leaving me and Goro

(Y/N): "He was lying..."

Goro: "I know... so what now?"

(Y/N): "We need to observe him. As far as I know it could be just a fever"

We finished morning routine and walked to lounge to meet with everyone. I sat down next to Zorome

Kokoro: "Yesterday's ceremony was something else, huh? I was so excited, I had trouble getting to sleep last night"

Miku: "Plantation 26's squad leader seemed like a nice guy"

Kokoro: "Is he the kind of guy you'd like to ride with?"

Miku: "Better him than the boys we're stuck with" She looked at me "No offence (Y/N)"

(Y/N): "Non taken"

Miku: "Don't you agree" She turned to Ikuno

Ikuno: "No. I don't really care"

Miku: "Wow, what a wet blanket"

Zorome: "It gives you a real lift when the adults have high hopes for you, huh?"

 Futoshi: "Yeah. It shows they really need us"

'The image of the world in their heads is so messed up. If only they learned the truth...' then Zorome stood up with his arm up

Zorome: "'Boys and girls! You are strong! We believe that you will surely bring us victory!'"

(Y/N): "So that what he said..." Everyone laughed at Zorome impression and my ignorance

Zorome: "And I'll be the one who lead us to that victory!"

Ichigo: "You mean Hiro and Reapers will"

(Y/N): "It was all Hiro there. We only helped" we all looked at Hiro

Kokoro: "Oh, yeah. You really shone in the previous battle"

Ryuko: "Kokoro is right. It was a nice show of piloting there. You may soon get to (Y/N)'s level"

Futoshi: "But how are you feeling? All good?"

Hiro: "Well, yeah. Everything's fine" I looked at Goro and he nodded

'He is lying for sure, but fever and cold sweat, the only thing missing is a blue tumor' I looked at Hiro's chest to see some bump nearby his heart 'Fucking shit. This is bad. The same symptoms as with 351!'

Futoshi: "Awesome!"

'No, he will fucking die!'

Miku: "Looks like the 'three times and you die' rumor was all nonsense, then"

(Y/N): "No it's not Miku. Hiro may be extremely compatible with Zero"

Ikuno: "I agree"

Hiro: "Thanks. But it was not only me if Heliconia didn't helped me in the back and Delphinium and Chlorophytum hadn't held the klaxosaur's mouth open I wouldn't have been able to kill it. I had a hard time keeping up with everything happening, but it all felt just right. If I can keep riding, I hope you'll let me fight with you as part of the team"

Zorome: "Don't get cocky, man. All you did was get through the one time"

(Y/N): "The only one cocky in this squad is you, Zorome. Remember how you would 'defeat the Reapers'?"

Zorome: "One day I will beat you two! You will see"

Hiro: "Zorome..."

Zorome: "Huh?"

Hiro: "I will try my best to not be a burden" He stood up and offered Zorome a hand "Let's keep fighting together" at this Zorome get shocked

Zorome: "O-Okay... Jeez, fine. Keep it up, all right?" he took Hiro's hand and shake it

Miku: "Big words, little man. And how are you suppose to fight Heliconia without me?"

Zorome: "Oh, shut up! I just, uh... You know, as the team's ace pilot, I'm trying to..."

Miku: "Okay, okay" then bell rings signaling a breakfast. We all stood up and exited. Me and Ryuko are staying the back of the group

Senketsu: "Something is weird about your friend..."

Neko: "I saw something on Hiro's chest"

(Y/N): "I saw it too. I think it's the same tumor 351 had before... you know"

Ryuko: "You mean..."

(Y/N): "Yes, he woke up today with a fever and cold sweat, and now this tumor"

Ryuko: "But she said he is her darling for sure... Oh my fucking god, Hiro is going to die during Kissing... "

(Y/N): "I will speak with Zero about this" we entered the mess hall to see Zero Two running at Hiro

Hiro: "M-Morning..."

Zero Two: "Oh, Ryuko, (Y/N). Good morning to you too friends! Darling, this way" And with that she dragged Hiro toward the table. To be more specyfic, boy's table

Zorome: "Ahh! You're a girl! Why're you coming to sit here?"

Futoshi: "And that's my seat..."

Zorome: "Y-Yeah! Get back to your table!" Me and Ryuko just sat at the table next to girl's one

Ichigo: "Pipe down. Take your seats already. It's time to pray"

Futoshi: "But... my seat..."

Kokoro: "Want to sit over here, then?"

'I'm hungry and you Kokoro are a savior'

Futoshi: "Can I really?" he said happily and sat down next to Kokoro

They started their pray while me and Ryuko spoke to our parents

(Y/N): "Mom, uncle Soichiro..."

Ryuko: "Dad, aunt Hayami..."

(Y/N): "We are thankful for your guidance so far..."

Ryuko: "And we hope you will continue to do this"

(Y/N) and Ryuko: "Amen"

We started to eat, meanwhile Zero Two offered Hiro a piece of bread covered in honey

Ryuko: "Heh, that gave me an idea... (Y/N), you want some?" She said while holding a fork with egg

(Y/N): "So we are starting it now? Sure Blueberry"

Ryuko: "Open up" I opened my mouth and took it

(Y/N): "Thanks sweetie"

I looked over the boy's table to see Zero giving Hiro the rest of her bread

Zorome: "Lucky them. I wanna try something like that, too"

Goro: "Why not ask your partner, then?"

Zorome: "What? I'd rather ask a cute girl, like Kokoro or a pretty girl like Ryuko" He looked over to us to see Kokoro feeding Futoshi. She giggled while Futoshi showed him a peace sign

Kokoro: "We see, we do"

Miku: "A cute girl like Kokoro or a pretty girl like Ryuko, huh?" she looked over to me "(Y/N), do you want some of my toast?"

(Y/N): "Thanks Miku, but I have min..." She just fucking showed it to my mouth. I coughed a few times "Miku! What the hell?!"

Zorome: "Hey! What are you doing?!"

Miku: "I just wanted to try it too. But I would only do this to handsome boys like (Y/N)"

A/N Glint, please, don't sue me...

(Y/N): "Warn me next time Miku" I looked over to Ryuko, she was murmuring 'mine' and 'hoe' under her nose "Honey, you good?"

Ryuko: "Huh? Yeah"

(Y/N): "You are jealous like at election... Oh my..."

Ryuko: "I. Am. Not"

(Y/N): "Next time you think that, look at your ring and think about our promise" Ryuko just breath in and out

Ryuko: "Right" 

After breakfast everyone went on their way. Me and Ryuko are walking around Mistilteinn. Soon we were called to meet with Squad 26

*but before that, with Ichigo and Nana, 3rd POV*

Nana: "Zero Two is going to remain here for a while. Papa gave her permission"

Ichigo: "Does that mean Hiro's an official parasite now? And what about Ryuko and (Y/N)?"

Nana: "That's still under consideration, but I'm assuming it'll happen. As for Reapers, Doctor approved their stay and moved them permanently to Plantation 13" Ichigo smiled at this

Ichigo: "At least one good news... Thank you Nana" she walked outside to meet with waiting Goro

Nana: "Ichigo. Make Zero Two feel at home" then the doors closes

Goro: "So (Y/N) and Ryuko are staying, as well as Zero Two"

Ichigo: "The only difference is that Reapers are with us for good while she can get moved to another place any time soon" They boarded the elevator

Goro: "I need to tell you something, Ichigo... Hiro was acting weird this morning. (Y/N) noticed it too"

Ichigo: "Well, it's been a long time since I saw him smile so much"

Goro: "Yeah. But what if he was forcing himself to be all this cheery?"

Ichigo: "And he didn't told you something is wrong?"

Goro: "Nah. You know he wouldn't tell us straight up. You need to speak with... "

Ichigo: "Goro. Worrying about Hiro is fine, but we've also got ourselves to worry about"

*timeskip, hangar, (Y/N) POV*

Me and Ryuko entered the Hangar to see Squad 26 walking towards us looking up our FranXX, especially Heliconia. Surprisingly Strelitzia was covered.

090: "Your FranXX ale have unique designs."

Goro: "What do you mean?"

Ikuno: "We thought that was standard"

090: "Of course not. Our FranXX have similar bodies and equipment all around" He looked over at Heliconia "Seems like Reapers are here. I forgot to thank them..."

Zorome: "Oh, right. (Y/N)! Ryuko! Come here!" he called us

(Y/N): "Yeah, Yeah. Coming. You didn't need to shout" we walked over to them

090: "And who are you two?"

(Y/N): "Really? Oh right, nobody beside Squad 13 saw our faces"

Ryuko: "We are the Reapers. I'm Ryuko, code 006 and this is (Y/N), code 004. You already know Heliconia"

(Y/N): "Nice to see your squad is still safe and sound after our previous meeting 090"

090: "Only thanks to you two" he bowed down "004, 006, I would like to thank you for your help. If not for you we would be wiped out"

Ryuko: "Geez, get up man, we are working together again so we stood as equal"

090: "It's good to see you are helping Squad 13, we thought we were send to a fresh new team without experience. But having you here changed things"

(Y/N): "Don't underestimate them 090, they are new, alright, but their stats and numbers are nothing to sneeze at."

Ryuko: "Yeah, this pipsqueak" she pointed at Zorome "Nearly got us good in mock battles"

Zorome: "Hey!" I looked at my comunicator

(Y/N): "We would like to talk more 090, but we have something to do. See you at the battlefield

090: "Right. Good luck you two"

Me and Ryuko went to elevator and got to the bird cage. We spotted Goro entering the house

(Y/N): "Goro, where did you went when we were walking with Squad 26?"

Goro: "I needed to think about something..."

(Y/N): "Okay bud, I won't pry"

Goro: "Besides. Congratulations you two"

Ryuko and (Y/N): "Huh?"

Goro: "Ichigo went to Nana after breakfast. She told her you two are staying here for good. So..." he offered me a hand " Let me be the first to welcome you two to Squad 13, we really hoped you both will stay with us." I took his hand and shake it

(Y/N): "Ichigo told us. Thanks guys for letting us stay by the way. You could always refused it"

Goro: "And let someone who helped us just go back to the wastelands? Like you say sometimes (Y/N), no can do"

(Y/N): "Heh, you guys..."

Ryuko: "So, you told anybody?"

Goro: "Ichigo ordered me to keep it a secret for now. She wants to make special announcement after our next mission"

Ryuko: "We know you guys for a month now, but you still surprise us"

Goro: "That's who we are... and who will always be" Me and Ryuko smirked

(Y/N): "Hahaha. Good one Goro, good one. But don't mime some thing from us"

Goro: "Like?"

(Y/N) and Ryuko: "Swearing"

Goro: "Right, you two sometimes do it a lot" He scratched the nape of his neck

(Y/N): "Anyway, we should go get some relax. We have a lot of klaxosaurs to kill tomorrow"

Ryuko: "Right, see you guys" And she went on her way to girl's wing"

Goro: "Hey (Y/N), we should check on Hiro"

(Y/N): "Oh... shit I forgot!"

We went up and opened the door to our room to see Hiro lying there. Me and Goro get our eyes wide and instantly went to his side

(Y/N) and Goro: "Hiro!"

Goro: "Hey! Hiro! What's wrong?"

Hiro: "Nothing..."

(Y/N) and Goro: "Nothing, our ass!"

He get Hiro's jacked unzipped and we witnessed something at least I wished to never see again

(Y/N): "Goro! Give me this backpack on my bed!" he stood up and threw it to me. I instantly took out my first aid kit and mini medbag. I put gloves on and went to the checkup

(Y/N): "Hiro, I need you to tell me if it hurts when I touch it" I went to do it and Hiro winced

Goro: "(Y/N), what is happening to him?"

(Y/N): "Goro, give him some water" I went to check his pulse, it was kinda higher but still in norms. Then Goro went back with a glass of cold water and Hiro drunk it at once"

Goro: "Hiro, how long has that been there? Since you rode with Zero Two?" he looked up at me "(Y/N), you traveled with her, have you seen it before?"

(Y/N): "Sadly, yes..."

Goro: "Thh..." He went to call Nana but Hiro quickly took his communicator out of Goro's hand

Goro: "Hiro, Don't pilot Strelitzia again"

Hiro: "That's for me to decide"

Goro: "You know the next time could kill you, don't you?!"

(Y/N): "This is a sign... Goro, rumors about Zero Two are true. Her last stamen with that thing had a slow and painful death..."

Goro: "So can we do something about it...?"

(Y/N): "No... 351 had this after his second ride too, and he didn't lived to his third...  Later we found out he had some heart disease but it's still risky for you Hiro. Drop out of our next mission"

Hiro: "Goro... (Y/N)... I feel really alive right now. I haven't felt this way in a long time. I won't drop out. I want to give it my all in the upcoming mission. I don't want thing to end in failure. So..." Me and Goro just hold our heads, trying to understand him 

Goro: "You want us to turn a blind eye?"

Hiro: "Yeah..."

(Y/N): "And you don't want anyone to know beside us two? Not even Ichigo?"

Hiro: "Yeah" 

Goro turned around to see Hiro standing like nothing is wrong

Hiro: "Sorry" and he walked out

Goro: "You are... You are... a complete and utter fool! (Y/N), won't you say something"

(Y/N): "Goro, as a part of special forces, me and Ryuko are also taught to be  medics. And if patient doesn't want anyone to know, I should respect it. I tried to talk him out of it... Sorry..." Goro get his head down

Goro: "I... I know. At least you backed me up"

(Y/N): "He is strong. He will survive it..."

Goro: "I hope so too..."

Then our communicators went off

(Y/N): "We should go too Goro... Hachi is waiting..." And with that we went on our way to briefing room

Squad 13 and Squad 26 are sitting, listening to Hachi. He is telling us about Kissing operation.

Hachi: "We detected klaxosaurs an hour ago, at a distance of spproximately 3000. They numbers anywhere from 100 to 150"

(Y/N): "Phew, we kill that much during one mission"

Ryuko: "Let Hachi end..."

That number is expected to go even higher.

(Y/N): "There it is... the fuckening..." I murmured

Hachi: "Their estimated time of arrival is around 33 hours from now. No matter how we rush, we can't complete the kissing process before they get here. So we're going to place a line of defense here, with Squad 26 at the vanguard. Squad 13 will stand by in the rear as backup"

Zorome: "What? Backup?"

090: "This will be a chaotic dogfight. Our squad can link up better if we go at it by ourselves"

Zorome: "Wha..."

Miku: "Did he just call us dead weight?" Hachi then cleared his throat to get everyone's attention back

Hachi: "Defending the main pipe linking the two plantations together takes top priority. So I decided to deploy two FranXX that're capable of solo combat here"

Ryuko: "Great. We will just stay behind and guard the pipe"

090: "So Heliconia, but do we really have a second FranXX like them?"

Hachi: "Strelitzia will be placed with Heliconia" at the mention of Strelitzia a part of Squad 26 stood up, the rest seemed shocked, scared

090: "Strelitzia? What are you..." Then Nana, Hiro and Zero Two entered the room

Nana: "Sorry we are late" She moved aside allowing Zero Two to enter

090: "Code 002!"

Hachi: "Did we receive Papa's permission?"

Nana: "Yes, we are a go. Hiro will pilot Strelitzia as Zero Two's partner"

Hachi: "This is the best course of action right now" I looked over to Goro. He is still worried about him

'Damn it Zero'

Hiro: "Got it"

090: "Wait a second" he walked over to them "We can't fight alongside Strelitzia"

Hachi: "The plan is final"

090: "But... That girl doesn't care about her allies! We can't trust her to have our backs! Code 002, you know what I mean" I stood up

(Y/N): "090, calm down. We are with her, she won't do anything like that..."

090: "004, you don't know... The joint operation two years ago! Her reckless fighting style got us isolated on battlefield, and I lost my partner!"

Ryuko: "090, that's enough!"

Zero Two: "Huh... I don't recall something like that... Weaklings die. Big deal" He went to Zero Two but I hold him by the shoulder

(Y/N): "One more step 090, and you may as well not take a part... You may not like Strelitzia and Zero Two, but you will accept the fact that she is a part of this mission. You understand?"

090: "Yes..."

Hiro then got before him

Hiro: "As Strelitzia stamen I will keep Zero Two from going out of control. I promise"

(Y/N): "You better watch your steps 090. We saved your squad once..." Ryuko went over to me

Ryuko: "but if you lay such as one finger on our friend, you will see why we are called 'Reapers'" With that me, Ryuko and Zero Two went out of the room.

Ryuko: "Zero Two, did you really do that?"

Zero Two: "I don't know... But I was right"

(Y/N): "Remember what I told you after we defeated that worm klaxosaur? Guess what Zero... Hiro got your mark..."

Ryuko: "He will die Zero. You need to easy up during kissing

Zero Two: "I... I will try but, what if he is not my darling?"

(Y/N): "You said yourself that it's him"

Zero Two: "But what if he won't remember..." she get a teary eyes. Me and Ryuko grabbed her shoulder

Ryuko: "He will... give it some time"

(Y/N): "This memory wipe is strong, but one day he will remember"

Zero Two: "Thanks friends..." with that we went up to Misstletinn. Soon after us the rest of Squad 13 returned and went to sleep. After a few hours of sleep I can hear Goro walking around the room

(Y/N): "Goro, what is this?"

Goro: "Sorry (Y/N), I didn't mean to wake you up"

(Y/N): "Where are you going?"

Goro: "I saw Ichigo and Zero Two walking to the forest..." This makes me fully awake

(Y/N): "God dammit Ichigo... We need to follow them"

Goro: "Right" We exited the house and followed the girls. Soon we get nearby the greenhouse. Me and Goro hide behind some bushes

Ichigo: "I'm not going to say anything about your past with Squad 26. But I want you to stay in line during the mission. I'm the leader, and you will follow my orders" Zero Two yawned

Zero Two: "Ordering me around again? You really are bossy" After that she wanted to head back to bed

Ichigo: "W-Wait! I'm not done..." She grabbed Zero's arm 

Zero Two: "What?"

Ichigo: "Please don't push Hiro too hard" Zero get her harm from Ichigo's grip

Zero Two: "Darling was the one who said he wanted to ride with me. My friends told me that before. You don't need to repeat it"

Ichigo: "I know that Hiro want to ride with you. But try not to put him a heavy burden on him, at least"

Zero Two: "Do you want me to give him to you? You tried riding with him already and it didn't work" she replied coldly

Ichigo: "Leave me out of this!"

Zero Two: "Then stay out of it"

Ichigo: "Are you trying to suck Hiro dry?"

Zero Two: "Sure he could. But that would just mean he didn't meant too much" After this Ichigo was angry, she went and slapped Zero, throwing her limiter off

(Y/N): "Goro... this is bad... if something happens stay here" I whispered to him

Goro: "I just hope you know what are you doing..."

(Y/N): "I do. Just stay here" I turned back to the girls

Ichigo: "You are heartless! You really aren't human!" I looked at Zero Two to see her eyes are red

'fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckFUCK!'

Zero Two: "Human? Human huh? Let me ask you something, then. What is 'human' to you people?" 

(Y/N): "Ichigo, run! I got her!"

Ichigo: "(Y/N)...?"

(Y/N): "Just run god dammit! Zero Two, calm down, you are not like this."

Zero Two: "Friend, get out of my way!"

(Y/N): "No. I'm sorry but you leave me no choice" I get my hand up and some Life Fibers erupted from my fingers. They soon tie around Zero Two as she was thrashing around like a fish taken from water

Ichigo: "(Y/N)... What was that...?"

(Y/N): "I will tell you later, leader. Goro, take her back to the house"

Ichigo: "Goro?" Then Goro walked out of the bush

Goro: "Come, Ichigo" And they walked away. I turned back to Zero Two

(Y/N): "You calmed down, Zero?" she closed her eyes and opened them. They are back to their normal cyan color

Zero Two: "Yes. Now if you could untie me" I get my hand back up and fibers flew back to my hand. I picked up Zero's limiter and put it back on her head

(Y/N): "You nearly killed Ichigo..."

Zero Two: "She saw it coming..."

(Y/N): "Zero Two!"

Zero Two: "She called me a monster!" Then it started to rain "(Y/N), you can go. I need to take some time to fully calm down

(Y/N): "Okay..." I walked back to the house and I spotted Goro and Ichigo. She was crying

Ichigo: "I hate this! I can't stand it. My mind's a mess. What's going on?"

(Y/N): "I can answer that for you, Ichigo"

Ichigo: "(Y/N)..."

(Y/N): "What are you feeling right now is called love"

Ichigo: "L-Love?"

(Y/N): "It something you feel toward other person you care and want to stay with him or her forever"

Goro: "But how do you know that (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "You guys asked a little while ago why me and Ryuko are so close. It's because we love each other. And you, Strawberry, are in love with Hiro"

Ichigo: "Strawberry...?"

(Y/N): "Your name means strawberry, a little fact to loosen up some tension"

Goro: "Hehe, (Y/N) is right"

Ichigo: "Just call me Ichigo okay... I don't want to be called like a fruit" she pouted "And (Y/N), how did you get those ropes from your fingers?"

Goro: "Yeah, you didn't told us"

(Y/N): "That because I'm not human. And Ryuko is not too"

(Y/N): "Well, yes and no, we are a hybrids like her but a different type. While she have a klaxosaur's blood, me and Ryuko have an alien parasite inside our bodies. If you want to know more, search for 'Life Fibers' in some books. I'm sure there must be at least one" I stood up "Well, it's nice to finally tell someone about this but I'm done. I'm gonna hit the bed. Don't stay too long you two" I walked back inside but I heard them talking

Ichigo: "If only she was so nice like those two..."

Goro: "They are sometimes more humans than anyone here..." at this I smirked and walked up to hit the hay

'Uncle, the seed is planted. Now to wait for the crops' I closed my eyes and went to sleep

A/N: "Wow, I got some power problems and I cannot posted this yesterday. Now to sum everything up. Goro and Ichigo knows about Ryuko and (Y/N) being Life Fiber hybrids.
