A/N: Heyo guys. Today we have Mock Battles. Zorome, being himself, challenged Ryuko and (Y/N). Let's just say... or maybe not

Let's get started!

*(Y/N) POV*

After my little warning to try getting Zorome in place, me and Ryuko went for a walk around forest of Mistilteinn

Ryuko: "Babe?"

(Y/N): "Yeah Blueberry?"

Ryuko: "You think that getting here was a good idea?"

(Y/N): "Well... after that I have some doubts too but... they need us, they need to learn a real life, and not that shit APE told them. Uncle told us, they are our hope to bring Earth back to it's glory. Satsuki and Koruno sure are determined to end this bullshit, and we still have Mako and the rest of our friends"

Ryuko: "Right Mako... I miss her"

(Y/N): "Me too. But we will see her soon. Doctor told you, we are nearly at stage one"

Ryuko: "I just hope all of it will be worth it" I kissed her forehead

(Y/N): "It will be, and after that we will get married as we promised" She looked at her ring and then at me 

Ryuko: "Right, we still need to do this" Then someone called me on my communicator. We get them after our test run in uncle's facility

(Y/N): "(Y/N) speaking"

Ichigo: "Hey (Y/N), Nana asked me to call you and Ryuko for the dinner. See you two soon"

(Y/N): "Thanks Ichigo"

I put it back to my pocket

Ryuko: "What Ichigo wanted?"

(Y/N): "Nana asked her to call us for dinner"

Ryuko: "Right"

We walked back to the house and after eating and saying our goodnight I went to the room I share with Goro and Hiro. I walked over to the doors and heard them two talking

Goro: "Zorome's still mad about your fight today"

Hiro: "Sorry. I know Ichigo's your partner." I walked inside 

(Y/N): "Hey guys, what are you two talking about?"

Hiro: "Oh, hey (Y/N). Me and Goro were just talking about tomorrow's battles"

Goro: "Hiro had some doubts. And was feeling bad for riding with Ichigo"

Hiro: "She is your partner Goro. I don't want you to feel bad about it"

(Y/N): "Can I ask you two a question?"

Goro: "Sure"

Hiro: "Okay"

(Y/N): "Does everyone in this squad is from one batch from Garden?"

Goro: "That's right. We all grew up together"

(Y/N): "And now Hiro, you and Ichigo have a codes with only one digit difference. So you know her for a long time now, just like I know Ryuko. And also you have a small code digit difference with her. You should be able to connect, unless..."

Goro: "Unless what (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Unless one party won't want to connect. Even thinking about it subconsciously could disturb it"

Hiro: "(Y/N)... did you and Ryuko ever had problems with connecting to each other?"

(Y/N): "To be honest, no. When we were tested for the first time our scores were above 110 for both of us" this shocked them

Goro: "110? Wow, no wonder you two have such low codes. I just feel sorry for Zorome now"

(Y/N): "He wanted to fight us so he will get it. I will try not to kill him" and with that I killed the atmosphere in the room " That was a joke guys. We won't be using our weapon, only a training baton"

Goro: "Besides the whole killing..." I cut him off

(Y/N): "Not killing Goro, getting justice. And Hiro, I heard you had a fight with Zorome. Don't listen to him. You piloted with Zero Two. I saw it, Ryuko saw it. Nearly everyone saw it"

Goro: "But can't she ride alone?"

(Y/N): "That metal lion you saw was when Zero pilot alone. It's called stampede mode. It's really dangerous for pistil's health because it put a strain on her body. When Hiro piloted with Zero Two, Strelitzia turned into her human form"

Goro: "You heard that Hiro. If (Y/N) says you piloted Strelitzia, then it's true"

Hiro: "I need to be sure. I will ride with her and prove it to everyone"

(Y/N): "Do what you want Hiro. Goodnight guys, tomorrow is a big day"

I jumped on my top bunk and closed my eyes. Goro turned off the light and we went to sleep

*next day*

 The day was fairly calm, except with Zorome comments how 'he will beat Reapers' and 'being the best pilot in this squad'. Every time he said something like that I could see Miku glaring at him with anger. I would be angry in her place too. After lunch me and Ryuko went to briefing room, and 'change' into our suits. We are currently waiting for the rest of Squad 13 to get down to the hangar. I looked up to see each FranXX in their dock. Next to Strelitzia stood Heliconia, with her black paint shining in the light. Then Zorome entered with Miku right behind him

Zorome: "It's time! I will show you what we can do! I Zorome the Great..." I cut him off

(Y/N): "Zorome, you have no idea what you got into. I'm sorry in advance Miku"

Zorome: "Don't look down on us! We will show you and this wuss Hiro what we can do!" and he walked towards the bridge. I put a hand on Miku's shoulder and Ryuko spoken to her

Ryuko: "Don't worry, we just want to teach him a lesson, not to hurt you two. We met someone like him before. The only way to teach people like him is to beat them. Good luck Miku"

Miku: "Right... I will try my best so you should too" I snickered at this

(Y/N): "Is there any other way to fight? I like your spirit Miku. If only your partner had it" and she walked to Zorome. 

Everyone soon entered and I just stopped Hiro to chat for a while before

(Y/N): "Hiro, you have a chance to fulfill your dream. Don't waste it" He looked at me with determined look

Hiro: "I won't" and he walked away to get into Delphinium

(Y/N): "We should get going too love"

Ryuko: "Right, but before..." She went on her tiptoes and pecked my lips "Okay, now let's do this"

Me and Ryuko walked over to our FranXX. We walked inside and took our positions waiting for Hachi sign

Hachi: "We will start with Argentea versus Heliconia. Commence connection"

(Y/N): "Right!" 

I pressed the triggers and soon Heliconia's screens sprung to life. I looked at our scores to see both of them stop at 113. Then Heliconia's face showed up

(Y/N): "Is everything normal?"

Heliconia: "Yeah it is. Let's do this (Y/N)" She put her scythe on her back and took one training baton. Then we walked over to the battleground. It was fairly small rectangle enlighten by some reflectors

Heliconia: "Your uncle said Argentea was fast and agile. With arena this small she won't have a room to us it"

(Y/N): "Seems right. So it will be easier than I thought. How much time do you give them?"

Heliconia put her finger on her virtual lips thinking

Heliconia: "About 3 or 4 minutes. 2 if they will get some problems with syncing up" We walked inside the arena. Opposite of us stood Argentea. I looked to the left and saw Genista waiting"

Zorome: "Reapers are here! We can start!"

Hachi: "Wait for Delphinium"

Genista put her baton down and sat cross legged, tapping her hand on the ground. I looked down and saw Hachi, Nana, Zero Two, Ikuno and Goro

'So Mitsuru is next in line to teach him some lessons. Not even trying to see how his squad is doing'

Then Delphinium exited the hangar

Delphinium: "Sorry we are late"

Heliconia appeared on my right

Heliconia: "Seems like Hiro did it"

(Y/N): "Yeah, it's a big step for him"

Hachi: "Rules for mock battle are simple, first FranXX to desync will be declared the loser. Stepping outside the bound will also mean a loss. Heliconia and Argentea will go first"

Heliconia got into the battle stance while Argentea jump from one leg to another

Zorome: "You will go down, single digits!"

Heliconia: "Speak with how you fight, small fry"

Hachi: "Begin!"

Heliconia and Argentea rushed each other. Argentea went for a swing but I quickly make Heliconia duck and swing her baton at her torso

Argentea: "Augh! Zorome, get yourself together!"

We waste no time, rushing Argentea with our baton, pushing her back

(Y/N): "You talk big Zorome, thinking you are above everyone! But when it comes to fight..." Heliconia was standing over now kneeling Argentea " You are no better than the rest. Ryuko, let's end this"

Heliconia: "Right" We went for an overhead swing, but Argentea tackled us down, pinning us to the ground "Shit... that hurt a little"

Zorome: "You were talking something? Now let's see if you two are really this strong" Argentea get her baton above her head and went for a hit to Heliconia's head. I quickly bend our FranXX legs and throw Argentea off us. Heliconia get back on her legs

Heliconia: "Now I'm angry! I will show you, you little rats!" Heliconia turned to Argentea with an angry gaze

*On the ground, 3rd POV*

Goro: "I knew Ryuko and (Y/N) are skilled. But they just own Zorome and Miku in this fight" He looked at Heliconia who have an angry look on her face "Even a gaze from Heliconia could paralyze you"

Ikuno: "Their FranXX remind me of something..."

Nana: "Shouldn't we stop them?"

Hachi: "Code 666 wanted to prove himself. Let him learn from his own mistakes"

*back to (Y/N)*

After some punches to Argentea torso we went to finish it

Argentea: "R-Ryuko, w-wait" But she can't say anything more. We hit her square in the temple. Her screen flicker with X's meaning they will desync and we will win. Soon Argentea get on her knees and her screen get black.

I looked at the timer to see 2 minutes 27 seconds

(Y/N): "Under 2:30, nice job Blueberry"

Heliconia: "That was short. Even some One Stars at Honnouji gave us a bigger challenge"

Hachi: "This match is over! The winner is Heliconia!"

Me and Ryuko walked back to hangar and backed Heliconia into her spot. Then we disconnected. Ryuko looked over her shoulder to see me smirking. She walked over to me

Ryuko: "Is that enough to like you said 'put him into his place'?"

(Y/N): "He will blame Miku for his loss. It is only beginning"

We walked out from Heliconia and to the rest of Squad 13. Miku was holding her head and Zorome was looking down

Ryuko: "Sorry about that Miku, I kinda get carried away"

Miku: "It's not your fault... We wanted this and we, or at least I know I have a lot to learn, right Zorome"

He looked up to us

Zorome: "It was a lucky shot, you hear me. Next time we will show you!"

Ryuko: "Learn your place Zorome. At least Miku know how to learn from her mistakes"

(Y/N): "And don't try to blame it on her. It was both of your fault"

Zorome: "Whatever" he scoffed and looked up. Meanwhile Zero Two walked over to us

Zero Two: "You showed those weakling they place. I expected nothing more from you two"

(Y/N): "Well, it was fun to be honest"

Hachi: "Delphinium, Genista, begin" We looked at them. Genista went for a swing but Delphinium surprisingly get on one knee and her face get in flashing X's. Zero Two just smirked

Genista: "Ichigo, Hiro, are you two alright?"

Delphinium: "No... Why? This can't be! Timeout, give us three minutes!"

Ryuko: "Our hopes were cut short (Y/N)"

I just looked at them in silence

Ryuko: "(Y/N)?"

'God dammit Hiro. Get your shit together. It's your dream, reach for it!'

Futoshi: "Okay, we will wait, right Kokoro?"

Genista: "Yhm"

Zero Two then walked over to us with satisfied look on her face

Zero Two: "He is my darling. He doesn't need anyone but me"

(Y/N): "You knew..."

Zero Two: "(Y/N), my friend. You know that long before..."

Ryuko: "Yeah, but if they won't let you ride with Hiro he will be killed..."

At this Zero Two eyes widen

Zero Two: "They will let us. And I will make sure of that"

We wait for several minutes to see if Delphinium will get up

(Y/N): "It seems I was wrong..."

Miku: "I feel sorry for them..."

Goro: "Unfortunately, it's been five minutes for now and Delphinium still didn't moved" he state sadly

Nana: "Ichigo, status report"

Futoshi: "Kokoro, I think we need to do something now"

Genista lightly pushed Delphinium to her side. But I spotted something is wrong

(Y/N): "Nana! Hachi! Stop the match! Delphinium is going into stampede!"

Nana: "What?!"

Delphinium: "Damn it all!

Then Delphinium boosters sprung to life and she tackle Genista into the side of plantation.

(Y/N): "It was risky..."

Nana: "Risky is a small word for this (Y/N). To pilot all by herself..."

Both Genista and Delphinium are inactive

Nana: "Of all the reckless stuff..."

Hachi: "Since both FranXX have been rendered inoperable, this mock battle is over"

Zero Two walked inside, leaving us looking at both FranXX down

Nana: "Ryuko, (Y/N), if you could..."

(Y/N): "Sure thing Nana. Okay guys, I know it was something. But soon you will have your first mission. So better get some time to relax"

Zorome: "Since when you are our leader?"

Miku: "Zorome, just..."

Zorome: "No Miku"

Ryuko: "If you don't want to become food for Klaxosaurs you should listen Zorome. Go back to Mistilteinn. Me and (Y/N) will help these four back up" We walked in the hangar, activated Heliconia and dragged both Delphinium and Genista back to their places. Ichigo quickly ran off her FranXX with tears leaving Hiro alone. I walked over to him

(Y/N): "You tried your best Hiro..."

Hiro: "..."

(Y/N): "Don't get down on yourself. You still have to pilot Strelitzia again"

Hiro: "(Y/N)... I'm sorry"

(Y/N): "For what?"

Hiro: "You and Ryuko believed in me, and I let you two down..."

(Y/N): "Oh man... don't get depressed, there are more things in life than piloting a FranXX. Come on, we need to sleep"

With that, me and Hiro walked out of the hanger toward home in bird cage

*next morning, lounge*

After breakfast, Hiro and Ichigo went down to get some tests. Meanwhile me, Ryuko and the rest of Squad 13 minus Goro who I assumed went to the lake were sitting around lounge

Futoshi: "So what happened to that talk about Hiro possibly becoming a parasite?"

Ikuno: "He could only connect for a bit at the start, so I don't like his chances"

Zorome: "No way he is getting in with that weak shit. He couldn't even beat Futoshi and Kokoro"

Mitsuru: "You are talking big for someone who get his ass handed by Heliconia"

Zorome: "It was Miku's fault! If she would let me control..." Miku cut him off

Miku: "Excuse me? Don't you remember what you said back then?"

Kokoro: "Don't fight. It will affect your numbers"

(Y/N): "Besides, if Miku would let you, you would go down in a minute"

Zorome: "And what do you know, single digit?"

Ryuko: "Well, you left your defenses down, your attacks were weak and you didn't sync up with her. Given she have a lower code than you, you dragged Miku down" Everyone was shocked, Miku was red trying not to laugh. Zorome was also red, but with fury and anger

Zorome: "I... You... AGH!" and he stormed out of the room while Miku's laugh filled it

(Y/N): "Someone can't take a critique... haha"

Miku: "You two haha, I never saw him like that HAHAHA!" Now Miku was rolling on the floor holding her stomach. I walked over to her to help her up "Thanks (Y/N) hehe"

Futoshi: "I should go to him..."

Ryuko: "No need Futoshi, he will come over soon"

Ikuno: "Either way, I don't think Papa's going to accept a parasite who can't pilot"

Futoshi: "Yeah. We saw so many kids disappear from the Garden due to that"

Kokoro: "It was so sad"

We stayed silent for a while

Miku: "Ichigo's no better, though. Don't you think she is being too biased toward Hiro? She is supposed to be our leader"

(Y/N): "Give her time. You all are still learning"

Ryuko: "So far you only had some test runs and this mock battle yesterday. Experience is the best teacher"

Miku: "Sometimes you two make no sense..."

Me and Ryuko smirked at this

Ryuko: "That's who we are, an incomprehensible boy and girl, trying to live their best"

(Y/N): "And who we will always be..."

Futoshi: "You two never told us about your past, beside being a single FranXX squad"

(Y/N): "And it would be better to keep it that way, for now..."

Futoshi: "Sorry, didn't mean to pry"

Miku: "Back to the topic. I don't know how Goro's putting up with it as her partner" I looked at the doors to see Ichigo standing there

(Y/N); "Um, Miku..." I pointer behind her

Ichigo: "What does Goro have to do with it?"

Goro then walked beside her

Goro: "What's this about me?"

Ichigo then walked inside 

Ichigo: "If Hiro becomes a parasite, he'll be a great help to us. That's all there is to it"

Miku: "If he does"

(Y/N): "You know... he still have a chance"

Ichigo: "(Y/N) is right. We can't give up on him"

Miku: "I'm not sure. He couldn't even get it done with you. And I don't think he would be able to connect with Ryuko by that matter, she is a pistil with the lowest code here. I think its over for Hiro"

Ryuko: "I may have the lowest code out of you girls, but I can only connect with (Y/N)"

Ichigo: "But he did pilot Strelitzia. Even if he was unconscious, he did save us back then. I believe in him"

(Y/N): "You are not alone Ichigo, he did pilot Strelitzia. Me and Ryuko are sure he will stay"

Ryuko: "Yhm"

Mitsuru: "Ichigo... I can understand why you'd want to stick up for him, but given that he was unconscious, he was only taken along for the ride"

Ichigo: "We don't know that for sure!"

Ryuko: "He may passed out while exiting Strelitzia. But he did pilot with Zero Two"

Mitsuru: "Yeah, right. Sure, Hiro was special. Even among double digits he was a cut above " He stood up. "We were all certain that he'd be our leader and show us the way. But reality had other ideas. Hiro couldn't become a parasite. He's not who he used to be"

Ryuko: "And who do you think you are Mitsuru?! I swear I had to deal with people like you for far too long! You are not the one decide if Hiro will become a parasite!"

Mitsuru: "Calm down, I'm only saying the truth. We must give up and cut our losses. I don't want to see this pathetic side of Hiro anymore"

Ichigo looked like she wanted to grab my scythe and cut Mitsuru

'Shit, this is even worse than Spanish telenovela. It's Mexican telenovela level now'

Ryuko: "Okay guys, look at the time, we should head to eat something" With that everyone looked at the clock to see she is right, everyone stood up and exited the room.

(Y/N): "Nice thinking Blueberry. And here I thought I was the one to plan everything"

Ryuko: "I just spotted an occasion and took it"

Me and her walked out and started eating. Then Ichigo stood up

Ichigo: "Okay everyone, I had a message from Nana. We are to suit up and go to briefing room right now"

Everyone stood up beside me and Ryuko

Ichigo: "You two are not coming?"

(Y/N): "Nah. It's your time to shine" Then my communicator went off

Hachi: "Code 004, you and code 006 are to be there too"

I put it down and looked at Ryuko

(Y/N): "Seems like they want us there too. Go ahead Ichigo, we will be there soon"

*small timeskip, briefing room*

After changing Senketsu and Neko into our suits, we entered the room.

Nana: "Good, everyone's here. We can start"

Hachi: "We've recived sortie orders from HQ. 

Futoshi: "Huh? W-We are going out to fight already?"

Nana: "Don't get so nervous. You won't have to fight Klaxosaurs like the one from before right off the bat."

Miku: "Thank goodness"

Nana: "We would liked to ease you in, but we can't afford to, unfortunately"

Hachi: "You'll be facing a Condrad class Klaxosaur. It's a bit smaller than a FranXX. Klaxosaurs are attracted by magma energy reactions and appear in their vicinity. And lately they've been showing up deep in a Level 8 mine on the outskirts and wreaking havoc. Even the automated bulwark systems can't keep up with them"

Nana: "Also, Strelitzia won't be a part of this mission"

Ryuko get her hand up

Hachi: "Yes, code 006?"

Ryuko: "So why are we here? What about Heliconia?"

Nana: "Heliconia will act as back up if things go bad"

Futoshi: "It's a relief to know you two have our backs (Y/N)"

(Y/N): "We sure do, big guy"

Futoshi: "Hey!"

Nana: "You will have to defend Plantation 13 by yourselves eventually. We are still to hear from Doctor about eventual transfer of Reapers to Squad 13" this shocked everyone

Goro: "You are saying..."

Ichigo: "I can't believe this..." They looked over at me and Ryuko

(Y/N): "Surprise, I guess?"

Ichigo walked over to me and tugged my ear

Ichigo: "Why didn't any of you said anything?!"

(Y/N): "Ow, ow ow. Ichigo let go of my ear. We are not sure if Dr. FranXX will allow this so we didn't"

Ryuko: "We don't want to get your hopes high"

Nana: "Settle down Ichigo. Getting back, if you can't eliminate this klaxosaur, even Reapers won't help you to handle any in the future. Ichigo and Goro will have field command"

Ichigo and Goro: "Roger"

Hachi: "That's all" 

After everyone went to their FranXX, you, Ryuko and Hiro walked to the window overlooking a hangar

Hachi: "All hands, prepare to board"

After that Hiro fist clenched and he walked back

Ryuko: "Here they go. Hope everyone will return"

(Y/N): "Same. I hope we won't be needed. They need to learn by themselves"

Ryuko: "And now you cried that out, look at Chlorophytum"

I looked to Ikuno's and Mitsuru's FranXX. While Delphinium, Argentea and Genista were active, Chlorophytum face was still black

(Y/N): "Oh you gotta be..."

Hachi: "What's wrong, Chlorophytum?"

Mitsuru: "Doesn't look like Ikuno can do this"

Ikuno: "I'm nearly there! Just give me a bit!"

Mitsuru: "Don't bother. It's over."

Ryuko: "I swear he will get his ass beaten..."

(Y/N): "He is like a mix of Sanageyama and Nonon. Sames as Alpha..."

Ryuko: "This blonde shrimp? Please, he is a lot worse than Mitsuru"

Then Radio in the room got live

Hachi: "Chlorophytum will stay behind. Code 004 and 006, proceed to Heliconia"

(Y/N): "Roger" I walked over to Hiro

Hiro: "Good luck guys"

(Y/N): "Thanks. You too buddy" And with that we walked out to the hangar, entered Heliconia and started up. 

Heliconia: "Seems like we will be able to practice team work"

(Y/N): "Sure"

*small timeskip, mine shaft*

Genista: "What a big hole. How far down it go?"

Zorome: "This is nuts. It's a monster pipe"

Goro: "They used these to extract the magma reserves, huh?"

Heliconia: "Yup. And we need to go down. Board those platforms and stick together"

Hachi: "Head down to Level 8. As you're well aware already, in order to kill a Klaxosaur, you must extract it's core which is essentially it's heart, and shatter it using your customized magma energy weapons. Shatter the core and finish off the Klaxosaur without fail. Got that?"

Everyone: "Roger!"

Delphinium: "All units, proceed to the target"

Heliconia: "Right behind you, Ichigo"

We all walked down one of the corridors.

*small timeskip, again :p*

Sonn after walking down the hall we spot a single condrad class slurping a magma energy tank like a smoothie

Delphinium: "We have visual on Klaxosaur. FranXX spreading out." Genista and Argentea get to the sides of Delphinium, while me and Ryuko watch their back in Heliconia. "In position. Commencing operation"

Argentea: "Huh, it's smaller than I thought it'd be"

Genista: "What a relief"

Heliconia: "Don't get distracted by it's size. Where is one condrad, there are more for sure"

Delphinium: "Conia is right. We'll do this as planned" She charged this condrad, ripping him off the fuel tank. It bounce a few times until Genista impale it on her gun and then Argentea get her claws into it, tearing it until it's stops moving"

Futoshi: "Way to go, Zorome"

Zorome: "You saw that, single digits? That's what I'm capable of!"

Heliconia and (Y/N): "YOU FORGOT ABOUT IT'S CORE YOU DUNCE!" but it was too late. Klaxosaur screeched and jumped on Argentea's face, scratching it. We can hear Miku screams

Futoshi: "Damn you!" he shot the Klaxosaur with Genista's cannon. Delphinium instantly went to it and impaled her blades inside exposed core. Soon Klaxosaur stopped moving

Delphinium: "You okay, Miku?"

(Y/N): "Guys, get out of here! More condrads incoming!" I shouted and slashed a nearby Klaxosaur, instantly impaling it's core on Heliconia's scythe

Goro: "There is more?!"

Heliconia: "I told you damn it! Ichigo, grab Argentea and run! We will try to keep them busy!" Soon more condrads dropped from the ceiling. "GO!"

Delphinium: "Right!" She grabbed Argentea and started to walk back to elevator. Meanwhile me and Ryuko try to get as many condrads as we could

Heliconia: "It's *swing* kinda remind me *swing* of a fight club"

(Y/N): "Yeah it is. Numerous and attacking all at once. The rest should be safe for now. We need to go Ryuko"

Heliconia: "Right"

We started to run with Klaxosaurs hot on Heliconia's heels. Soon we get near Genista

(Y/N): "Kokoro! Emergency gate shutdown on your right!"

Genista went and pulled the lever. Heliconia jumped and slide under the gate just in time

Heliconia: "How is Miku?"

Delphinium: "Still unconscious" We then heard a loud crack of the doors

(Y/N): "Shit, it's going to burst! There are too many!"

Heliconia: "Help us hold the doors!" We can hear klaxosaurs from the other side. Them scratching on metal was even worse sound than a fork on the plate. Then Argentea's face sparked up back to life

Zorome: "Miku came back to life!"

Genista: "Thank goodness!"

Argentea: "I never died!"

Delphinium: "Miku, are you o-" She was cut off by even more strikes to the door. Us four are holding it.

Argentea: "I'm fine!"

Futoshi: "But we won't last much longer"

(Y/N): "This is a total shitstorm right here" Then radio come on

Hachi: "Strelitzia's coming to back you up. Can you hold until it arrives?"

Heliconia: "We will try Hachi, but tell Zero to hurry up!"

Futoshi: "All right! If we can just hang in there until then..."

Delphinium: "Who is it? Who is piloting it?"

Goro: "Hey, Ichigo! Focus!" And with that Delphinium get down. She went on one knee

(Y/N): "Ichigo! Hachi, this is code 004, Delphinium is down"

Heliconia: "Those doors won't hold much longer! (Y/N) do something!"

(Y/N): "Got it. Kokoro, get to the back! And get explosive round ready! When I yell 'Go' you Miku get Delphinium and run for it! We will try to stop as many as we can! Ready?!"

Genista: "Okay... but where should I aim it?"

(Y/N): "Into us!"

Genista: "Into you?!"

Futoshi: "You two are crazy!"

(Y/N): "Stop questioning and start moving. Three" Genista get into the back "Two" Argentea get Delphinium up "One, GO!" Heliconia squatted down, Genista fired from her cannon and Argentea run for the elevator, with Genista right behind her

Heliconia: "So what now, strategist?!"

(Y/N): "Now? Flamethrower!"

Heliconia: "What?"

(Y/N): "Just get your hands forward before they get to us!"

Heliconia got her hands before her and soon a stream of flames erupted from them, burning a lot of klaxosaurs down

Heliconia: "How did we do it?"

(Y/N): "Neko can enhance my fire control. And she is connected to Heliconia like me, you or even Senketsu so it's natural we can use our powers"

Heliconia: "Well, we are now a living tank"

(Y/N): "Less talking love, more running to our friends!" and with that we run towards center of the mine. We bumped into Argentea

Heliconia: "What is... Oh for fuck sake..."

We looked around to see a lot, and I mean a lot of condrads everywhere

Argentea: "Hey, Leader... What are we gonna do about this?" She asked terrified

Delphinium: "I... I... (Y/N), what do we do now?!"

(Y/N): "Back to back everyone. Watch over you surroundings. We won't go down without fighting!"

We get into the formation and slashed every Klaxosaur getting near, but there is still too many. Then we spotted the mother. Everyone was looking terrified at it

(Y/N): "Fuck! Where is Zero Two?!" then Strelitzia dropped down and impaled her spear into the Klaxosaur who was about to bite Delphinium. Soon it exploded into a blue mist

Everyone: "Strelitzia!"

Heliconia: "Nice to see you finally made it Zero"

Strelitzia: "Sorry Ryuko, but I had a small problem"

Delphinium: "Hiro? Is it you, Hiro?"

Mitsuru: "All of you get back"

(Y/N): "Oh my god, not him..."

Zorome: "Huh? That voice... Is that you, Mitsuru?"

Hachi: "All units, let Strelitzia and Heliconia handle thing there and evacuate"

Goro: "Rodger, Let's go, Ichigo"

Delphinium: "Y-Yeah..."

Genista: "Good luck Ryuko, (Y/N)."

Heliconia: "Thanks Kokoro!"

They boarded the elevator. Strelitzia got one condrad and impaled her lance into it.

Strelitzia: "Hey (Y/N), how many did you two get so far?"

(Y/N): "About 132"

Strelitzia: "Bet I will get more?"

Heliconia: "You are on, sister!"

Strelitzia just smirked

Strelitzia: "Try to keep on!" And there she went

Heliconia: "Let's not keep her waiting! Scissor Scythe, Decapitation Mode!" And soon we went with our lance impaling every condrad on our way. 

Mitsuru: "This is amazing! I feel the power! I feel like I can do anything! I'm amazed changing partners could make such a difference. I knew I wasn't a problem! I'm just as good as Hiro! Hiro! Are you watching this? We're in perfect harmony! I can pilot Strelitzia as I please, without losing consciouness! If you want, I don't minde becoming your official partner. We'd make the greatest duo, don't you think?"

'And here it is, another asshole as Zero's stamen, well, it was nice knowing him. Or maybe not'

Strelitzia: "Oh, really? I guess I can try going all out for a bit, then"

Heliconia's face then appeared on my right

Heliconia: "Well, he is screwed. I won't miss him by the way "

(Y/N): "Same"

Hachi: "Strelitzia, that's enough. The other units have evacuated, Get out..."

Strelitzia: "I'm gonna have some more fun with my friends before I leave"

Nana: "No! Return at once, Zero Two!"

Heliconia: "That was something..."

Strelitzia: "Ryuko, (Y/N), how many did you get?"

Heliconia: "About 175"

Strelitzia: "Ohhh, you are no fun, I only got 160 by now" she whined

Then more condrads flooded down and we resume fighting.

Heliconia and Strelitzia soon boarded the elevator. We are still active while Zero's FranXX was sitting still.

Heliconia: "That was fun. And to make it better we won a bet with Zero"

(Y/N): "It was. I hope Mitsuru learned his lesson by now" We walked off the platform and deactivate Heliconia

Ryuko: "Let's see if he is still alive" I just nodded and opened Heliconia's face plate We jumped over to Strelitzia's platform

Zero Two: "It's been a long time since I had so much fun"

Ryuko: "Glad you liked it Zero" We looked down to see Squad 13, together with Nana and Hachi. After looking inside Strelitzia's cockpit we saw blood stained and unconscious Mitsuru. We turned around to see Zero Two waving at Hiro, as he return it 

Zero Two: "Yeah, this guy really isn't cut out to be my darling. My darling is you and you alone"

Me and Ryuko whispered to each other

Ryuko: "You think Mitsuru was an important part of uncle's plan?"

(Y/N): "I hope not..." And with that us three looked up the setting sun
