*Y/N POV*

After our little relaxation time on the beach we couldn't even catch a breath. We were immediately send to deal with klaxosaur nearby. Argentea was currently in a process of digging her claws into it. Then Genista get nearby and shot one of it's heads

Argentea: "We are dealing with it for fifteen minutes now! Why can't it just die?!"

Heliconia: "It's a single klaxosaur! What the hell is with it's armor?!" We went to it and started slashing it's torso "See?"

Delphinium: "Almost done. Let's gang up and end it in one" We rushed it but soon it spit some blue goo on us. I yanked Heliconia's controls and get her in the air, allowing her to stay clean

(Y/N): "Phew, it could be acid... ACID?! Squad, you alright?!"

 Argentea: "What is this? Gross!"

Delphinium: "We are fine (Y/N)"

Genista: "It's sticky..."

Heliconia: "So it wasn't acid... phew, thank God"

Chlorophytum: "It doesn't hurt... so yes" she spoke confused

 Genista: "Yeah, seems fine"

Argentea: "So it's just for show?" 

Heliconia: "More like some defense system. Be careful, it may still be dangerous"

Argentea: "How dare you spew this disgusting gunk all over us?!"

Delphinium: "Let's try it again, guys. Stick to the plan"

Hiro: "Huh?"

Zorome: "What the heck?"

Futoshi: "K-Kokoro?"

(Y/N): "What's going on guys?" I said while getting Heliconia nearby the klaxosaur and started slashing. Our previous attacks allowed her to get close to the core. Heliconia turned around to see rest of FranXX staying still

Heliconia: "What's the matter? Let's go, Squad 13"

Argentea: "It's not me! Zorome is spacing out! You are awake there?" she poked her head

Zorome: "Y-Yeah. It's nothing, really"

Genista: "Futoshi?"

Futoshi: "Don't worry. It's nothing at all"

'Hmm. Weird...'

Delphinium: "Focus. We are in the middle of the battle"

Heliconia: "Damn right. So, get over here and help us!" We slashed another part of klaxosaur's body" Zero, you two will lose our bet! It will be now 11-8 to team Heliconia! You are getting behind! "

Strelitzia: "You heard that darling? We can't allow this"

Hiro: "Huh? Y-Yeah"

Strelitzia zoomed past us and impaled klaxosaur's core on her spear

(Y/N): "That was our kill Zero!"

Strelitzia: "Someone is a sore looser~" she sung sweetly

Heliconia: "You both are still two points behind"

Strelitzia: "We will get to you in no time. Right darling? Darling?"

Hiro: "This is bad, Zero Two! You are being exposed!"

'Oh for fuck sake... so it was acid...'

Zorome and Futoshi: "Don't tell her, dumbass!"

Argentea: "Ahhh! My parasite suit!" and then every girl minus Zero Two and Ryuko screamed

(Y/N): "My ears!"

*timeskip, plantation 13*

We just got Heliconia back in it's dock and served our connection

(Y/N): "Ryuko, go ahead. Check the situation with the girls, and get them some towels"

Ryuko: "Just don't let the boys by. Girls are angry on them for sure"

(Y/N): "Right" We walked out of Heliconia. 

Ryuko went down and get the towels ready I looked to the right to see the rest of Squad 13's FranXX getting in their place. I walked back inside Heliconia and radioed them

(Y/N): "Okay guys, turn around and let the girls go first. And after that we will have a guys talk." Girls went out and I looked at the wall and heard them talking

Ichigo: "I can't believe this! Even Goro..."

Miku: "It's boys for you..." I can feel her angry gaze on my back "Sometimes I envy Ryuko..."

(Y/N): "Just go you five. Ryuko is waiting down with the towels" they get there and then I walked over to each FranXX getting guys out of it

Zorome: "It's all your fault Hiro. If you didn't told her we would..." I slapped him in the back of the head "What was that for?!"

(Y/N): "Get some manners you idiot. And if you don't I will see to teach you some myself" we walked down to see girls in towels. Ryuko then went over to me

(Y/N): "How bad?"

Ryuko: "In a scale from one to ten, I will say eight"

(Y/N): "Well, better than I expected"

Goro: "You've got the wrong idea! We only didn't tell you because we didn't want to distract you during the battle"

Futoshi: "As for me, I simply found you amazingly beautiful, Kokoro! Belive me! This is straight from the heart!" Mentioned girl blushed like crazy and hide behind Ryuko

Mitsuru: "So stupid" and he walked away

Zorome: "You know, it's not like being seen hurts you or anything"

Miku: "Excuse me?!"

I get to his face

(Y/N): "It may not hurt them but it still not okay to watch a naked girl without her consent"

Zorome: "Give it a rest (Y/N). I know you would like to see Ryuko..."I punched him and he get on the floor

(Y/N): "Don't you EVER compere me to you. If I were in your situation I would stop Heliconia and get Ryuko covered" he got up "Remember the talk I mentioned back at the bridge. It will be taking place while running around Mistilteinn. Now if you don't want to run 50 laps, I would suggest to think before you talk"

Ryuko: "You didn't have to hit him, you know?"

(Y/N): "It's the best way for him to learn..."

Hiro: "Before Zorome do something to anger (Y/N) even more, I need to tell you guys something. Zero Two told me that parasites are, uh... better off being a little pervy!"

(Y/N): "Did you really told him that Zero?"

Zero Two: "Yup, yup"

Ryuko: "Oh my God... Zero Two..."

Ichigo: "What the hell...?"

(Y/N): "Okay. Go go wash yourselves girls, I will seek to tell boys something about manners" Girls walked away while I turned to the boys "Listen up, maggots! Now to our training and your punishment! Hiro, you will do 10 laps! Goro, 15 laps! Zorome and Futoshi, 20 laps!"

Zorome: "You wish!"

(Y/N): "Zorome will do 25 laps! Any other objections?! *silence* Good. Now hit the shower and I will see you four in 30 minutes back at the Mistilteinn. Dismissed!"

*timeskip 1 hour later*

(Y/N): "One more lap Zorome!"

Zorome: "Get *pant* lost..."

Hiro: "(Y/N), I think he have enough..." I think for a little

(Y/N): "Okay, I will let you loose Zorome. Get here, drink some water and let's walk back to the house"

Goro: "I hope girls calmed down..."

We walked inside to see Miku finishing taping off.

(Y/N): "What the fuck is that..."

Ryuko: "Girls don't want to live with boys anymore so they taped off their half"

Miku: "Listen up. Boys are banned from setting foot on this side"

Zorome: "Wh-Who died and made you the boss? This is messed up!"

(Y/N): "Seems like you still have some energy, Zorome..." I turned to the girls "I know you four are angry but can't we talk about this...?"

Ichigo: "There is nothing to talk about now (Y/N)"

Ryuko: "Me and Kokoro already tried to talk them out of this, but with no effort" then Zorome tried to cross the line only to earn a death glare from Miku

Miku: "Cross that line, and you will regret it" He stopped and went back

Ichigo: "(Y/N), you are exception from this rule. You stood up for us"

(Y/N): "I still think it's stupid and we should talk it out" My communicator went off "Ryuko, we need to report to Nana and Hachi, now" with that we walked out and soon get to the room

Nana: "How bad?"

(Y/N): "They taped off the house. Girls need to cool down and boys, especially Zorome and Futoshi need to learn to respect their partners"

Then uncle Werner called and Nana answered

Dr.Franxx: "Good morning you four. We are on a private line so geezers won't hear us. What happened? (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Basically we were fighting a klaxosaur and it spit some acid. It didn't hurt FranXX itself but went inside cockpits and melted pistils suits. Girls got upset and taped off the house"

Dr. Franxx: "Ah, puberty"

(Y/N): "Have meaning of puberty changed during those 150 years?"

Dr.FranXX: "No my dear nephew. It still refers to the storm of hormones inside their bodies"

 Hachi: "It's still unprecedented for so many members of a squad to hit puberty at once"

Nana: "It usually was just one person or two together"

Hachi: "But this time, it's practically everyone. It's clearly an abnormal case"

Dr.Franxx: "That's what makes this squad so important in our plans"

Nana: "Normally we would go by APE's manual, to intervene and resolve the issue immediately"

Ryuko: "But this are not normal circumstances Nana"

Dr.Franxx: "That's right. What would be the point of them being a test team if we did that? Hachi, Nana, you two just observe and give me detailed reports. Don't you dare let geezers know. (Y/N), Ryuko, you two will try to keep the damage at bay. If any klaxosaur get too close to plantation, send Heliconia alone. I will see you four soon" and with that uncle's display disappeared. Us four looked at each other and sighed. Me and Ryuko walked back to the house to meet with Zero Two sitting with Hiro and cuddling

(Y/N): "Hey you two"

Zero Two: "Hey (Y/N)! Hey Ryuko!"

Ryuko: "Seems like you both don't mind the rules set by girls"

Hiro: "I though about it... now we just separated the house, but what will happen if klaxosaur will attack? I'm sure non of us except the four of us could connect"

(Y/N): "Nana said that they will send Heliconia alone if that would be the case"

Zero Two: "Not fair" she whined and pouted

Ryuko: "Competition is suspended for now Zero, lighten up"

I looked at the window to see Ichigo, Ikuno and angry Miku looking at us. I just waved at them and walked back inside with Ryuko in tow. And what is the first thing we see? Goro, Zorome and Futoshi in their underwear walking up the stairs

Miku: "W-Would it kill you to get dressed? Are you listening to me?"he ignored her and continued to walk upstairs

Zorome: "What we do in our territory is non of your damn business" he pointed at the line and then started to do some weird noises 

(Y/N): "It starting to get out off our hands..." I sat down on a couch nearby

Ichigo: "(Y/N), Ryuko, good to see you are back"

Ryuko: "Ichigo, Miku, Ikuno. Don't you three thinks it's getting to far?"

(Y/N): "It could destroy the whole squad. You think your connection in case of emergency would be good?"

Ichigo: "As a leader I'm willing to sacrifice our stats, as long as we get boys to admit their fault and apologize"

Ryuko: "Second thing. Squad 13 will not take a part in any operations until this is sorted"

Miku: "I'm not going to get near Zorome so I don't care"

Ikuno: "Chat later, we need to clean the bath" she states stoically

(Y/N): "Right, about the baths..."

Ichigo: "You can use them (Y/N), we will let you know when we are inside. And with that you need to help us too" she gave me a broom

(Y/N): "Oh man..." We walked inside and started cleaning

Ichigo: "Stop whining and start brushing"

(Y/N): "If I knew I would just went to the lake..."

Miku: "Besides, what was that all about?"

(Y/N): "What?"

Miku: "You saw them walking in"

Ikuno: "They're trying to provoke us"

Ichigo: "If (Y/N) was with them I would assume it was his idea. That leaves Goro. Zorome and Futoshi couldn't have thought of it"

(Y/N): "I would at least wear some clothes..."

Miku: "They get to have fun in the lake, and we're stuck cleaning the bath? It's not fair"

Kokoro: "We can't really complain about that"

Ryuko: "Yeah, you banned them from here"

Miku: "I know, but still. Why cleaning must be the only thing we have to do ourselves?"

(Y/N): "Because it builds character...?"

Miku: "I'm serious (Y/N). I wish the invisible caretakers would handle it, like they do with our food and laundry!"

(Y/N): "So spoiled..." I whispered to Ryuko

Ryuko: "That training was a good idea. I don't know why Nana cancelled it..."

(Y/N): "Maybe uncle called to postpone it?" with that we walked out and see Futoshi, Zorome and Goro taping off the mess hall

Ryuko: "And what are you dinguses doing?"

Goro: "We are taping off the dining room before girls could do it..."

Zorome: "And you two are not allowed! Especially you (Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "You know" I unintentionally get my hand on fire "you piss me off Zorome, even more than usual. What makes you think you have a right to order me and Ryuko around?"

Goro: "(Y/N), calm down" I inhaled and exhaled. Soon flame disappeared and I looked up to see shocked boys

Zorome: "What the hell was that...?"

Futoshi: "How did you..."

Goro: "Can I?" He asked me and I nodded "(Y/N) and Ryuko are hybrids. He have a fire control and extra strength"

Futoshi: "Hybrids? Like Zero Two?"

Zorome: "No way..."

Ryuko: "You know what they say, 'in every rumor, there is an atom of truth'. We really are a living killing machines"

(Y/N): "And that's how Heliconia get her scythe on fire. So, Zorome, you have anything more to say?"

Zorome just gulped

Zorome: "W-would you like a seat by the window, sir? Ma'am?" I messed up his hair and laughed

(Y/N): "Hahaha. I'm messing with you. We would walk in there even if you would scream and kick"

Zorome: "I wouldn't do that!" Then clock chimes 12 

(Y/N): "Okay, okay. Just sit and eat" soon after Hiro and Mitsuru walked in and we started our lunch. 

Futoshi: "So (Y/N), what else you can do?"

(Y/N): "Well" I created a small fireball in my hand

Futoshi: "Cool!"

Ryuko: "Show off..."

Goro: "What about you Ryuko?"

Ryuko: "Same as (Y/N), just without the fire"

???: "Huh?" Me and Goro turned around to see girls standing there

Goro: "Hey girls. Sorry, but we've taken over this area. We noticed that you girls hadn't taped it off" Zorome started to act like and idiot he is

Zorome: "Mhh. So good! Today's lunch is extraordinary!"

Miku: "No fair! You are heartless! (Y/N)! Ryuko! Do something!"

Ryuko: "We are neutral in this conflict" Then her communicator went off

Hachi: "Code 006, we detected another klaxosaur in perimeter. You and code 004 are to get to briefing room in 30 minutes"

Ryuko: "We will be there Hachi" she ended the call "(Y/N), finish your food, we have some work" 

Goro: "You guys are going..."

Futoshi: "Without us?"

(Y/N): "As long as this little war is in motion, only me and Ryuko will be deployed"

Goro: "You heard girls? So how about we both drop all the silly rules and eat together?"

(Y/N): "That's the most sensible thing I heard from you guys today" Miku started to walk towards mess hall with some drool

Ikuno: "It's a trap"

Ichigo: "Agreed" as they were talking, Miku nearly crossed the line, but Ikuno and Ichigo dragged her back "Don't go, Miku!"

Zero Two comes out of nowhere, crosses the line and walk inside the mess hall. Meanwhile girls drag Miku upstairs

Miku: "No!"

Goro: "Talk about pigheaded"

*timeskip, briefing room*

Hachi: "We detected several conrads nearby. You two will need to eliminate them before they attract more. Now, get ready to board"

We walked out to Heliconia, started it and walk out. After five minutes we can see them

Heliconia: "This is Heliconia, targets spotted"

Hachi: "Roger. Proceed with mission"

(Y/N): "Understood"

Heliconia: "One, two, three... eight spider like conrads. It will be like a walk around the park"

(Y/N): "We better get it done fast" Heliconia get her scythe "We still have our squad to deal"

Heliconia: "Yhm" We rushed the first spider, only to impale his core with one hit. Then rushed the rest.

Heliconia: "Those are weak"

(Y/N): "They are..." I said while Heliconia impaled two more klaxosaurs "How about a little shish kebab?"

Heliconia: "Hmm. Sure, why not. Scissor Scythe, Decapitation Mode" Heliconia got her scythe transformed her scythe into a lance. Then impaled the rest of klaxosaurs on it

(Y/N): "And now to cook it. Flaming lance" Soon klaxosaurs started screeching as their bodies and cores burned away

(Y/N): "Hachi, klaxosaurs eliminated"

Hachi: "Roger, you two, get back to plantation"

*timeskip*

Sun started to set while me and Ryuko returned. We entered the house, only to be met with sound of screaming girls and thing being thrown

Goro: "Wait! I-It's not what it looks like!"

Zorome: "Hear us out! It was Zero Two!" Then mentioned girl rushed out of the baths with a basket of clothes and Hiro right behind her. Me and Ryuko stood there dumbfounded

(Y/N): "What's going on..."

Hiro: "Why would you do this, Zero Two?" she ignored him and spoke to us

Zero Two: "Hey you both. How was your mission?"

Ryuko: "Good..." Then Zero turned back to Hiro

Zero Two: "This is a real fight. Come at me with everything you've got, darling" He went to attack her, but she turn around and get Hiro's towel. She dropped it down, giggled and ran upstairs. Hiro got his towel back and ran after her

Ryuko: "What..."

(Y/N): "I don't even..." We then heard more shouts from the bath

Futoshi: "We were set up!"

Ichigo: "Enough excuses!"

Miku: "Perverts! You horny perverts! Fiends! I'm gonna break you in half!"

Futoshi: "Hey, our clothes are gone!"

Zorome: "What?!"

Then Nana entered the house

Nana: "What's going on?"

Ryuko: "Even we don't know Nana..."

(Y/N): "We just returned from mission..."

Zorome: "That's it! We've had it with this crap!"

Miku: "We're the ones running out of patience!"

Zorome: "Shut up! Don't look down on us boys!"

Miku: "Why can't you be like (Y/N)! I never heard Ryuko complaining about him! Guess why?! Because he thinks about her feelings and cares about her!"

(Y/N): "We need to get inside"

Nana: "Right"

Me, Ryuko and Nana walked inside 

Zorome: "Shut up! All of you..."

Nana: "Knock it off!"

(Y/N): "Really guys... I'm disappointed..."

Ryuko: "Get to your rooms, get dressed and after that walk down to the lounge"

Me, Ryuko, Nana and Hachi are standing atop first set of stairs. Before us stood Squad 13 with their heads down

Nana: "What were you thinking? I assumed that sending Ryuko and (Y/N) alone would have been enough to make you act normal. Guess I was wrong"

(Y/N): "So far it was only some conrads, but if it would be mohos, we may not returned alive..."

Hachi: "You're parasites. Don't forget what comes first and foremost"

Squad 13: "Yes, sir" Me and Ryuko stood with Nana and Hachi while the rest of Squad 13 walks up to their rooms

Nana: "Could they be any more unlike the other children?"

Ryuko: "That's why Doctor choose them"

Hachi: "I wasn't expecting Zero Two to join in, too"

(Y/N): "Well... I was, but to turn it into this?"

Nana: "This girl... (Y/N), Ryuko, get to you rooms and try to talk with them. We can't keep only you two operating. One day we will have moho, or maybe even another gutenberg to deal with. Heliconia can't handle it alone and I don't want anything happening to both of you"

(Y/N): "We know Nana. We will"

Hachi: "Good. (Y/N), Ryuko, you are dismissed" with that Ryuko went to girl's wing while I went to boy's. I heard some talk from Zorome's, Futoshi's and Mitsuru's room. I walked in

(Y/N): "What's up?"

Zorome: "Nobody asked for a calm and composed analysis!" I walked over to Hiro

(Y/N): "Why is he so worked up?"

Hiro: "Mitsuru said that girls look down on us"

(Y/N): "Well, maybe if you listened to me and treated them better this war would never take place"

Zorome: "And what do you know, traitor?"

(Y/N): "See how I and Ryuko are always acting towards each other? That's because we trust and respect each other. We had some fights before, alright, but we always made up"

Hiro: "I feel bad saying this, but I thought that was kinda of fun"

Zorome: "What?!"

Hiro: "Zero Two was laughing her heart out, like she was enjoying herself I'd never spared much thought for how girls felt before now..."

Zorome: "Why bother? They're weirdo whack jobs"

(Y/N): "Zorome, shut the fuck up for a second, you may understood what I wanted to teach you in the morning" I turned to Hiro "Continue, Hiro"

Hiro: "You are right Zorome. I don't get them at all. But that's exactly why I started wanting to know more about her. That way, I might be able to offer her more support"

Mitsuru: "If you're talking about Zero Two, you're barking up the wrong tree. She is the ultimate pistil. She doesn't need your support"

(Y/N): "You have never been more wrong Mitsuru. She may have the lowest code out of all of us, but she is just a normal girl. She still need someone to lean onto, to be her wings" At this Hiro smiled and started talking

Hiro: "It just not her. Pistils let us stamens handle all the controls, but their frail bodies are the ones bearing the brunt of each battle"

(Y/N): "Every mistake we make is transferred to them... They feel it like it would be them taking the hit and not FranXX"

Futoshi: "Oh, yeah. That must be rough"

Hiro: "Even so, they connect and do their best, placing all their trust in us. Watching her like that really made me think... I want to be stronger and take better care of her"

Goro: "Well, the girls are always giving it their all in battle. And if we ogle them while they are... "

Futoshi: "Of course they would hate it"

Zorome: "Hey, I'm a man, too. Even I feel the need to look after my partner and take care of her. And I don't wanna see any of them in pain, either"

(Y/N): "Wow, I'm actually surprised Zorome. Now, there is only one thing to do" I stood up and opened the door. They nodded and followed me to the lounge

Zorome: "I'm not gonna beg and plead for forgiveness, okay?"

(Y/N): "Important thing is that you apologize..." We entered the room to see Ryuko, Ichigo Kokoro and Ikuno

Ichigo: "Goro..." She get in front of him "Miku is missing. Please help us find her"

Boys: "What?"

(Y/N): "When?"

Ryuko: "5 minutes ago. I already searched ground floor, without any sign of Miku"

(Y/N): "Okay. Guys, split up. Me and Ryuko will take forest around the house. Futoshi and Kokoro will search backyard. Goro, Hiro and Ichigo, go to the wings. Zorome and Ikuno, go search on first floor. Squad 13, move out" They nodded and we all went on our way to search for Miku

*timeskip, 30 minutes later*

Me and Ryuko are walking back from the forest. I used a small fireball to illuminate our surroundings.

Ryuko: "This is bad... Do you think she went down to the city?"

(Y/N): "She couldn't. Only me, you and Zero Two have S class permission"

We walked to the porch to see worried Ichigo

Ichigo: "Anything?"

(Y/N): "Nope. We should report this to Nana if she doesn't come back tomorrow" we walked inside. Nobody is talking, signaling they didn't found anything. Then we hear a glass being broken from the halls on the first floor

Zorome: "Miku!" he yelled and sprinted to the source of the sound. We were soon behind him. When we get to him he was trying to force open the doors. Soft sobs could be heard from the inside

(Y/N): "Zorome, move aside! Everyone, back off!" I took some running start and soon kicked the doors down. Inside sits sobbing Miku and near her is a picture... of old Squad 13

Kokoro: "Miku! Thank goodness. We were so worried What's wrong?" Hiro then picked up this picture

Hiro: "What's this room?"

Zero Two: "Probably one of the rooms the former Squad 13 parasites used"

Mitsuru: "Former..."

Ikuno: "...Squad 13?"

(Y/N): "Before you were assigned here, they were Plantation 13's defensive squad"

Goro: "Of course. We are not the first Squad 13"

Zorome: "So how come they aren't here now?" Ryuko looked over to Zero and she nodded

Ryuko: "They were wiped out. Us three got here long after battle. We tried to search for any survivors but looking at those standard FranXX with crushed heads..." She shake her head " That's when you got assigned here to replace them"

Ichigo: "They could't make it back..."

Goro: "We won't survive unless we all get to know each other better. Let's make up, guys"

*small timeskip, lounge*

Me and Ryuko are standing to the side. I got my arm around her as we watch Squad 13 finally coming back together

Zorome: "Well..." he bowed "I'm sorry, okay I apologize! I will try my best not to leer at you anymore"

Miku: "I bet you will fail. I'm way too cute, after all" she got her head up "So you can do it a little, but don't take it too far"

Zorome: "O-Okay, then..."

The rest of guys apologized too. Futoshi went traditional Japanese. He got on all four and bowed before Kokoro. Ichigo and Goro settled for a handshake while Ikuno and Mitsuru looked at them. They share a glance, Mitsuru grunts and walk out of the room. Ikuno smiles after that"

Ryuko: "Finally, I was afraid it could end like with previous Squad 13"

(Y/N): "Not on our watch, love" we continue to hug while observing our friends making up.

'Stage one is nearly finished. Soon we will start stage two... I hope everyone will be ready when we get there'

A/N: Effing hell. 6 hours to watch one episode of anime. It's getting kinda hard but I won't abandon this story. When I start something, I will finish it, let it take a year. So guys, vote and comment, and see you tomorrow
