Chapter 6 [1505 Words]

Day 5: Land of Fantasy PT 1, Save Crystals - Early afternoon, 1:01 P.M.

"Welcome to the Land of Fantasy. You have been teleported here to finish your quest before moving on to the next tunnels."

The TV spoke, with a loudspeaker yelling right in my ears.

"Where am I?"

I asked with a facial expression.

"Not to worry,"

The TV said.

"You're safe here. Your little friend, The Thunder Titan is already in the Land of Fantasy. Do you wish to proceed?"

I sighed and stared at the bright screen of the TV.

"I guess. I'm so tired though. I haven't rested in days!"

I spoke.

"Alright."

The TV began, ignoring what I just said.

"You must get to work. They'll tell you what to do when you get there. Just be patient. This could take a while to complete the task."

"What task?"

He ignored me and disappeared. I walked down a small tunnel, leaning against the bright stones. The cave was too dark. I couldn't see anything. No lights, no people, nothing.

I came across the secret lights and saw the Thunder Titan. I ran towards him, with a plain, straight look on my face.

"What happened? What is this place?"

I asked.

"I don't know, but I do know that there's some sort of task that we must complete. I don't know what it is, how to complete it, or where to find it. Also, this annoying TV just ignored me the whole time! It feels like this thing is trying to use us!"

The Thunder Titan replied, in a straight, furious voice.

I wish that we could escape this place already.

I thought.

This is getting old.

When the Thunder Titan finally managed to calm himself down, he started to run around the room, wondering if there was any hope of escaping. I knew that there was something strange about that TV. When the darkness was fully here, the light disappeared. There were no houses, animals, or plants.

There was nothing here.

I stood beside the Thunder Titan, knowing that some suspicious activity was going on around here; and it had to be something with the TV.

We fell asleep, hoping to find something better tomorrow.

Day 6: Land of Fantasy PT 1, Save Crystal - Bright and Early Morning 7:34 A.M.

I opened my eyes, feeling a strange emotion inside my head. Looking beside me, the Thunder Titan was gone. He wasn't seen. He was fully gone. I looked around the area, hoping to find him soon, but I had no luck.

"Great,"

I spoke.

"This is just plain great."

I ran over to an unexpected area. I'd never seen it before, but somehow, it was there. I thought that I was just seeing things, but when I touched the ground, I felt a cold taste of water bouncing onto my paws.

I washed my paw into the cold water again, seeking the strange advice I just had found. I heard a voice. I turned around, looking like a bald eagle. I quickly lunged down behind a rock, slowly moving my finger thoroughly across the stones.

I heard the voice again, but this time, it sounded recognizable. I jumped up from behind the rock and found the Thunder Titan searching for me.

"Where are you?"

He called out, repeating himself non-stop.

"Thunder Titan?"

I asked, with a big, bright smile on my face.

"Is that you? I've been looking all over for you!"

"Really? Same here! Where were you?"

"I've just awoken from my sleep, and I couldn't find you anywhere! I then heard a voice coming towards me, and I hid behind this rock. Now here you are!"

He was silent. He didn't do anything, but stared at me, glancing rocks between his feet. His head moved down to the pond, and his eyes lit up like his eyes were going to pop out of his head.

"What is this doing here?"

The Thunder Titan asked.

"This pond wasn't there yesterday."

"I don't know."

I replied, with a confused look on my face, my chin turning to the ground.

"I was going to ask the same thing. This pond wasn't here. It's either us seeing things or something."

"You're not seeing things."

A voice appeared as I turned around, slipping on the grass and landing flat on my stomach.

"It's real. You can feel it. You can touch it. You can smell it. You can see it."

"Can there be just one single problem that we don't have to solve on our own?"

I asked, feeling a pinch touching my heart. The heat on my forehead started pouring down, and sweat came running down my fur. The Thunder Titan was wondering what was going on. Leaning forward, he tickled me on the cheek, making me laugh a little squeak.

"That's my boy! Are you okay? You seem kind of hot!"

He asked, painting a light frown on his face. I tried to stand up, forcing my legs to move. I pushed myself up until I was standing straight, with two paws standing on the ground.

I smacked him in the foot.

"I'm just fine,"

I murmured.

"Nothing terrible is going to happen. All I need to do is stay strong, like a warrior exclaiming his opinions and thoughts to the others. I need to do what - that ghost said."

"What do you mean ghost?"

The Thunder Titan asked.

"Remember?"

I replied.

"The one from earlier?"

The Thunder Titan was silent, giving me a confused look on his face. Before he started laughing, he started to smile.

"I remember."

He spoke. We both laughed as strange thoughts rushed through our brains. I thought of mom. We both stopped laughing and started to hear that strange voice from before. The high-pitched voice, a strange yelp heading from an unknown direction, and a small petal of grass smudged, all at the same time.

A burst of wind blew in my Maines, and the light went away. A giant TV was standing before us. All black, me and the Thunder Titan were ready to battle.

"So it was you this whole time?"

I asked in an unsurprised manner.

Staring upon the ashes of the TV, I held up my sword high to my chin, bending down to the ground. I cracked my back, ready to start the battle.

Swinging my sword, I jumped up high into the air, adding tons of suspense each time I got higher than before. I rubbed my sword against the TV's screen, just before he could move. I was thrown to the ground. I quickly stabbed the TV screen, still holding onto my sword.

The sword was sliding down the TV's body and was still slicing the TV with my own sword. After a little while, I arrived down at the ground, safely. The TV was gone. It had disappeared seconds ago before I could catch it.

The Thunder Titan felt like a little tickle was coming from me. I touched his shoulder, leaning against my eyes, feeling desperate to get home and out of these tunnels.

"When is this going to stop?"

I cried.

"I want to go home!"

"Remember what King Cat said?"

The Thunder Titan said, leaning forward and putting one big finger on my cheek. My thoughts were racing. In just a few seconds, I wanted to pass out. Life has already been a big mess.

"I don't want to deal with this crap anymore!"

I screamed.

"I want it all to end. I want to go home. I want King Cat to appear."

"What did you just say?"

A voice said.

"You thought I was dead?"

My chin turned to the sky. It was a ghost. For seconds, I was crying, then I was laughing.

"King Cat,"

I began, with a brief smile on my face.

"I missed you!"

We both hugged, knowing that I couldn't give up.

"I hope that I didn't let you down for trying to give up!"

I spoke in a nervous attitude.

"Ah, no worries! It's only one time! Just remember this: If you ever feel like giving up, just call for me and I'll appear in your heart in milliseconds."

He replied with a happy tone.

"Really? You forgive me for all that I've done?"

"What do you mean, 'all that you've done?' You've done amazing! Besides, what horrible things have you done in your life?"

The room was silent. Everyone and everything was standing still. The pond stopped moving and the water paused.

"I guess your right."

I finally spoke, remembering that some thought from King Cat.

"That's my boy!"

King Cat replied.

"Now, I want you to go out there and escape these damn tunnels! Do it for me and do it for me in a way that'll change the way everyone thinks."

"I'll try, but if I fail, I can make no promises."

While the Thunder Titan watched me walk into the distance, he followed us.

"I think that we make a great team!"

He began.

"We have everything we need here. We have ourselves, and that's what really matters."
