M- hey ,my pretty new Mrs!! What a surprise !aao ,

They shared a friendly hug before moving inside ,

M- so ,kaisi hai tu ?

A- yeah ,I'm good .(she smiled subtly)

M- aur vo ,tera idiot ?

A- hmm ,he's doing fine too .

Mrinali noticed that something was bothering annika ,or else her ever so chirpy girl wouldn't sit silent even for a second.

M- annika ,is there is any problem ? You seem down?

A- where is uncle and aunty Mri?( she asked with a serious face )

M- they aren't here ,they left to states .Vo meri di pregnant haina ,tho usse dekne gaye hain .Why annika ,what wrong?

Taking some time to pause ,she spoke .

A- I want to apologise to them...to you too ,(she stammered slightly)

M- for what ?

A- meri haan na ki kel mein ,agar kisi ko chot laga...vo tum thei. I know you loved shivaay ,but ...mein .....I'm sorry Mri

She admitted and remained silent with her gaze wandering around not at anything in particular.Noticing her guilty face Mrinali understood what was running in her mind ,she immediately moved and sat beside her .Holding annika's hand assuringly she spoke ,

M- annika ,tum aur shivaay bilkul ek jaise ho ,(she said with a smile)

While annika looked at her being confused,

M- I don't remember certainly, but it was few days before your marriage when shivaay visited me to apologize and mumma papa se bhi sorry bola tha vo,

Annika smiled faintly and looked down again ,

M- annika, it's true that we don't share a friendship of what ...say 10 or 20 years .But still ,I know you and I know even him .I don't feel sad for anything which happened or I'm not angry on you too

She told in a calm voice insisting her not to feel guilty ,and annika slowly turned to look at her .

M- you remember when I shouted at you the other day in shivaay's office ? Tuje pata hai kaise react kiya hai vo? I knew it since then itself annika ,ki shivaay tere alawa kisi aur ke baare mei soch bhi nahi saktha. It's just that, he was prepared to get convinced with me not that he really had any feelings for me .And I'm happy that I realized it soon ,or else it would have been very difficult. I'm really doing good annika ,no hard feelings anymore. You have no reasons to feel guilty ok,?

Without replying anything annika pulled her in a hug ,while Mrinali smiled rubbing her back gently.

A- then why didn't you attend our wedding?

She asked pulling back,

M- arey baba, I wasn't here actually. I was with di, and returned only yesterday.Or else how would I even miss my bestfriend's wedding ? Ek minute, actually I've got some gifts for you both .Abhi laathi hoon ,

And annika sat smiling at her friend, how maturely she had handled this. Indeed , annika had always loved mrinali as a friend but today she had gained a point of respect from her side.

A- ye saare gifts bahut ache hai,thank you so much mri. (To which Mrinali passed on a smile )Oh my God! It's getting late ,mein chalthi hoon .

M- arey,itni kya jaldi hai? Ruko na,

A- I'm really sorry Mri, aunty will be worried . Next time ,we'll have a superb time together, ok .

M- vo tho teek hai ,but who will get worried ? Aunty ya tera Protective shivaay?

She asked passing a teasing smile ,

A- don't take his name even ,banda Kolkata gaya hai.Bola tha ki dho din ,but it's already been three days ,and on top of that he's not responding to my calls too . Let him come first ,

M- shaant meri Jerry, abi bhi tum dono vo Tom and Jerry fights nahi choda haina? It all worked till yesterday but now ,it's time for both to play fights on Romeo Juliet. Jaanthi hona...

She said with a mischievous smile which soon brought a smooshy blush on annika's face .

The next day ,afternoon .

Wrapping up all her work before 2 pm,she rushed taking her scooty to their favourite restaurant as shivaay told that he would come there straight from the airport.

She emptied the glass sipping it for the umpteenth time and still he haven't showed up yet .Sighing she dialled for him,

"I'm really really sorry paanika ,last minute mei ek bahut hi zaroori kaam aagayi.I haven't boarded the flight yet ,I'm really sorry haan .I'll reach there by night " he spoke convincing her.

A- fine ,bye .

Were the only words which he heard before hearing the beep sound mentioning she had cut the call already.

On entering her room she threw her bag which landed on the ground ,she stood silently gritting her teeth with crushed fists and muttered " kaam kaam kaam ,if that's what which is important why did he even ask me to come there "

She passed a glance on the mirror and remembered why she had worn that blue dress today,his favourite colour. When she finds every single reason to make him happy why would he just push things back everytime ? She really felt angry ,

And suddenly the power went off frustrating her more , but the very next moment she was stunned to feel herself suspended in air floating around in his arms .

S - surprise!!

He dashed his head with her's slightly and soon the lights turned on ,clearing the view of her angry face to him .

S- laga na shock ,

He asked and winked for which she just stared at him with nil reaction.

S- oi ,paanika ? Kya huwa?

A- let me down ,

S- anni...(interrupted)

A- let me down,

She wiggled and he immediately placed her on the floor .

S- aren't you happy ?

A- very much ,

She faked a smile and picked her bag to find her phone which was ringing .

A- hello ,sir...yeah ...but sir I had informed to Sasha mam .She permitted me to leave at 2................ok sir I'm sorry ,next time I'll ,no no hereafter I'll never ask for permission anytime .You can take my words ,(he looked at her and understood , she was angry ) ok sir ,I'll send the mail immediately.

Hunging up the call ,she took her laptop and sat on one edge of the bed paying null heed to the man who had both his eyes just pasted on her .He understood, she must have left all her work back just to meet him after four long days and finding his play ,she definitely would have got mad on him . He neared her and knelt down infront of her ,but still she haven't passed a single glance on him rather she just continued typing something while referring certain files .

S- annika ,

A- shivaay ,I'm busy with work now . Can we talk later ?

Her cold voice depicted that she was really in a bad mood now. Not wanting to disturb her ,he quietly walked out .

It was already past 6 in the evening and still they remained in their own world of silence . He even tried conversing with her once ,but she excused saying that she had headache and slept.

Squeezing her eyes she woke up to find some glittery material hanging near the pool side .Since the curtains were waving by ,she wasn't getting a clear view of it .Baffled, she moved near the poolside and stood confused seeing a big red sparkling cloth which hung enclosing something around which a bow was tied up .She slowly tried opening the knot ,which soon brought the cloth down screening the thing inside . It was a cute glass ball swing which hung from the top ,

She didn't realize but she was already smiling excitedly looking at it ,since the craze she had for swings from childhood was really huge .

A- ye yahan kaise ?

Immediately something striked her and she ran inside the room ,to find him coming out from the washroom.

A- vo, swing ?

She asked pointing the pool side ,to which he smiled faintly before answering .

S- I saw it in an exhibition day before yesterday ,I knew you would love it . But ,since it was already sold out I had to wait for one more day after ordering for a new one .As the pieces were imported ,time laga diya . And today ,I thought to give you a totally unexpected surprise but ended up making you upset.I'm sorry ,

He admitted with his clear voice which showed that he was truly apologising. And she just stood staring at him silently, like ...she thought he had no time only for her but he was faking all his games  just to make her happy. What she had to do now ? Her rude reaction towards him must have definitely him ,but was she entirely the one at fault ?

A- everytime I go mad on you ,you just shade away the very reason for which I'm angry .Kya karun mein?

S- it's ok annika ,even I shouldn't have lied to you ...

Before he could complete she pulled his hand and dragged him towards the swing ,

A- baito,

S- no ,it must be you first.

He insisted with a smile,

A- baito na plss ,

He didn't wanted to deny her and soon took his seat on it , within no second he found her on his lap coiling her hands around his neck she laid her head on his chest and stayed quite .After sometime she spoke ,

A- I know I was rude ,par ...tum bhi kam nahi thei.You know how happily I went to the restaurant? (She asked with a pout)

S- I'm sorry annika, I thought ki jab tum expect bhi nahi karoge tab mein yahan hota tho tuje ...

A- sorry mat bolo par mein bhi sorry nahi bolungi ,

She said with a frown and he smiled pulling her close ,that's when she realized their position .Like she was literally on him and his hands were encircled around her slightly exposed waist heating up the moment.On watching her to have been glancing his hands ,he tried releasing his hold feeling which she immediately shook her head frowning not to and hugged him close to her before speaking ,

A- I missed you ,

S- I missed you too,

Saying which he tossed his toes on the floor making the swing slide over front and back .Feeling this she smiled happily while he couldn't stop himself from staring at his beautiful wife. While she was lost in her excitement ,soon she froze feeling him nuzzling her neck planting continuous kisses there making her stiffen. Without her own knowledge, she arched back and closed her eyes and crushed his shirt within her fists  feelings his lips on her skin . After an extended session spent in their own world ,he lifted her chin to make her meet his eyes . Noticing her shy smile ,he adored her face while she intertwined her fingers with his's and pulled his hand near to place a deep kiss on his knuckles .And once again she hugged him close and whispered " thank you shivaay" not before placing a gentle kiss on his earlobe making him shiver.

S - agar aisa hi hai tho ,we can have a fight everyday to patch up like this .

He said innocently to get an instant smack from her .
