This is by far my favourite chapter so enjoy!

The kitchen walls were covered with beige wallpapers with pink and red roses running up and down in a specific pattern that made ones head spin if they stared for too long. There were some spots that had gotten nicked over time and the crispy yellow newspapers underneath were visible. Someone had obviously tried to fix it with glue but time had been adamant on making it look according to it's age. The living room had a variety of half finished knitted socks and scarves tossed all over the old and worn furniture as if the person making them suddenly realized they were in a hurry. Or they just couldn't decide which project to finish first.

"Now would you look at that, just as perfect when my mama made that for me."

A sweet Irish accent announced. He whipped around, his eyes landing on the woman who was gently placing a fresh apple pie on the table. Her blonde hair was pulled back into an elegant ponytail, a few rebellious strands framing her freckled face.

She placed some more bowls on the table, peeking up at Will who was standing starstruck in the doorway.

"Well? Why are you standing there like a ghost, darling? Wash those hands of yours and sit down, Joseph should be back with Steve and Bucky any minute now."

She chuckled, turning her back to him to start cleaning up the workplace.

William didn't waste another second as he went to hug her, wrapping his arms around her petit form to pull her against him. His mother squealed in surprise, turning around in his hold while holding her hands up. She laughed as William hid his face into her hair, inhaling the familiar cinnamon scent.

"Stop it, my hands are all covered with flour and I'll ruin your new shirt youngman." he could hear the wide smile that had stretched across his mothers face. Her accent always got slightly thicker when she laughed or started speaking excitedly.

He pulled back a little, looking down at her before deciding against it and hugging her again. She shook with laughter and William couldn't help the content smile that crept on his face.

"I don't care."

He blinked, surprised when he felt a gentle slap against his head. His mother slipped away, resting her flour covered hands on her hips.

"William Everett Rogers, I am the one buying you those shirts so don't go floricking around saying you don't care if they get dirty. I got it with a good price too!" she scolded him, making him rub the back of his head sheepishly.

"Sorry mama."

"It's alright, now while you're here and clearly not caring about the state of your clothes, help me clean this up before others get here."

Will didn't need to be told twice. He gladly helped his mother, his eyes barely leaving her. She noticed something a bit off but wouldn't comment on it. The last he could remember of her, she had little crows feet in the corner of her eyes and the ghost of wrinkles under her eyes.

Now that he looks at her standing there, her face is smooth, her skin slightly tanned of the scorching sun and the freckles are as visible as ever. Her green eyes were filled with life as she prepared lunch for her family.

The door opened, Joseph stepping in only to have two figures come stumbling in after him.

"Boys!"

The trio froze, eyes landing on the mountains of food.

"Hurry up ye lot before it gets cold, and no mud inside!"

The three let out a relieved sigh as they took off their shoes.
Will was leaning against the kitchen counter as he studied his father, a man who had seemed so tall and strong once, was now shorter than William. Had he grown so fast then?

"Darling, it smells wonderful." Joseph exclaimed, going in to kiss his wife. Will stepped away, dragging his gaze from the two as Bucky and Steve made it to the table, laughing at something.

"Hello Will, Steve here tells me you and a certain someone have been seeing each other in secret." Bucky whispered the last part, but it wasn't that much of a whisper.

His silver-blue eyes gleamed as Will's face was struck with horror as he looked between the two. Steve did look a bit guilty but Bucky was enjoying it as he sat down next to Steve.

By that revelation, he heard a gasp behind him as he sat down opposite of Steve.

"You're seeing someone?" his mother gushed, pushing Joseph to sit down behind the table.

"I, well-, no?"

"Liar liar-"

"Stop it!" he hissed at Steve who leaned back, his baby blues filled with mischief that Will didn't like.

"Now now, no need to be so defensive Will darling. We are a family here and I need to know who I should be giving pie discount to at the next Fair." Sarah sat down next to Joseph, giving a bowl of potatoes to her husband to pass around.

Blush travelled down the boys neck, making even the tips of his ears red as the face of a certain someone appeared in his memories.

"It's not like that, we are just friends."

He said, making Steve raise an eyebrow.

"That's not what John said the other day."

Will was confused for a moment before he remembered who Steve was talking about. John Lawford was his best friend. He felt a slightly bit betrayed that he had confided in the man who had gladly told Steve and Bucky about his growing attachment towards Miss Carter.

"Do we have to pester the boy?"

Joseph stepped in, taking a bite of the lamb Sarah was known for. The woman knew exceptionally well how to use spices to bring it the best flavour in every dish.

"Yes Joseph, yes we do. I want grandkids to spoil and I want them now."

Sarah teased, looking between her two sons who both looked uncomfortable at her declaration. Bucky was too busy stuffing his clean-shaved face with food to pay attention. Joseph only grunted, deciding to let his boys fight their battles against Sarah alone. He wasn't about to step a foot into that trap.

"But Steve has been courting Miss Margareth for quite awhile now." Will fired back, trying to shake the attention off himself. Steve glared at him, narrowing his eyes.

"So it's the Carter girls. How exciting! The girls are lovely, although their mother is a proper cow."

"Sarah!" Joseph looked up at her startled, ignoring the snickering boys as the enchanting woman simply shrugged her thin shoulders and poured some more sauce on her husbands plate.

"You know as well as I do that it is true. You should have seen her face when I told her last week at Betty's that we can, in fact, afford oranges and she should stop looking at us like we are merely mud beneath her red leather pumps."

Sarah Rogers looked mighty proud of herself and ignored Josephs disapproving look as she merrily sipped her chamomile tea.

"What about you, Bucky?"

Bucky stopped chewing, looking startled as the focus was solely on him now. Even the two brothers looked relieved that Sarah wasn't questioning them anymore. They shared a glance and made a silent pact. If the other stayed quiet, then neither of them would bring up the Carters in front of their parents again.

"Me?"

He asked, taking a sip of his lemonade to buy himself some more time while he thought of an answer. It was really no secret that Bucky Barnes was a notorious ladies man who had girls falling for him left and right.

"Yes, I do intend to become a second grandmother to your children as well."

Bucky laughed awkwardly, scowling when he realized Steve and Will were both now looking at him with the same smugness he had managed on before.

"Yes, well, uhm. There's not quite anyone who's caught my eye yet, ma'am."

He said with a fake apologetic look in his eyes. Sarah bought it to Steve and Williams dismay.

"Ah do not worry, the right one will come along when you least expect it." she offered him a friendly smile, patting his shoulder in comfort.

"Now, pie anyone?" she perked up noticing half of the plates were nearly empty. While Bucky nodded eagerly, Will shook his head.

"No thanks, mama. I'm really full."

"Pie it is." she jumped up from her seat, giving already cut pieces to everyone. Will sighed, although he didn't think he would be able to stomach much anymore, he smiled and accepted the pie anyways. He would just slide half of it to Steve's plate.

"Thank you Mrs Rogers, it's delicious as always." Steve gave Bucky an unimpressed look, he'd hit him if he started flirting with his mom. Inhaling the pie, Steve stood up, grabbing Bucky with him who dragged the plate with pie with him, eating as much as he could.

"Mom, we'll be out late tonight, no need to wait up."

He said, moving towards the door with Bucky in tow.

"And where are you gentlemen headed to?"

Sarah yelled after them, collecting the empty plates with a sour look. She didn't like that Steve left his plates dirty, but seeing how eager he was to get out of the house, she allowed it this time.

"Just this small gathering at Hickory House." Steve yelled back, tugging on his boots as he opened the front door.

"Oh, hi John. Will's in the living room. Bye!" He yelled over his shoulder, Bucky bid the Rogers goodbye as well and dashed out of the house.

"John, what a pleasant surprise. We have some pie left, would you like some?"

Sarah asked, already taking out one of the clean plates. William stood up as well, making sure to clean his plates as fast as possible before his mom tosses another piece of pie his way.

"Hello ma'am, sir." the curly headed man greeted the two as he stepped inside.

"I have to pass this time, I'm afraid Will and I are in a bit of a hurry." he said with a smile, showing off his deep dimples. Sarah still thrusted a small plate with her pie into his chest.

"Nonsense, there's always time for some pie."

"Sarah, let the boys breathe. Hello John, up to some mischief tonight?" Joseph asked, helping Sarah clean up as he threw a quizzical glance towards the Englishman.

"No, sir. Just seeing some old friends. Ready to go?" John asked Will who was drying his hands into one of their old towels. "Yeah, just give me a second to change out of this shirt." he mumbled, still somewhat confused as to how was John in his house and how were his parents so comfortable with him.

Will changed to a white shirt and dark grey slacks. He threw a weary glance towards his dark green suit. Next to it was a small medal of honour. The suit was for vets and he knew Steve had one just like that. It somehow made his insides coil.

"Don't think too much about it"

John said, lounging on Will's bed as he browsed through a newspaper he had snatched from Joseph. His legendary grey flat cap resting on his stomach. His hair was a little past his ears, the curls framing his face in a rather soft way that was quite alluring at times.

"What?"

"Don't be daft with me. The war. It keeps you up at night too, doesn't it?" His voice wasn't curious or serious like a shrinks would be. It was light and friendly because John recognized the dark shadows that passed over Will's eyes. He understood.

"Yeah, yeah it does."

He folded the paper together and placed it under his arm to make sure he gave it back to Mr Rogers when they headed out.

"It's funny how the enemies on battlefield snuck themselves into our minds to keep on tormenting us there. But do not think too hard on it, mate. If you really go down the deep end then even your brother won't be able to pull you out."

John stood up, straightening his suit jacket before looking at William again.

"You beat them once, don't give them the satisfaction of winning now."

The two stood in silence before Will nodded, grabbed his own jacket and John's empty plate. "Yeah, you're right."

He chuckled, "When am I not?" he said and threw his arm around Will's shoulder to pull the man close to him. His green eyes glistened against the yellow lights as they headed towards the kitchen where Joseph and Sarah still sat real close to each other, talking quietly.

"We'll be heading out now, I'll be back late I'm afraid." He offered a warm smile to his parents. Joseph snatched the newspaper from John, putting on his reading glasses as Will went to stand behind him. He placed his hands on Josephs shoulders, making the older man place his hand on top of his in a lazy manner.

He smelled of fresh firewood and tobacco.

"Go on son, have fun. Keep an eye on Steve, make sure he doesn't scare away all of the ladies." Sarah slapped his arm, and Will could feel his shoulder shake in silent laughter.

"What the old man meant to say is, have fun."

She said, waving goodbye to John who was half way out the door already.

"Yeah, we will. Thanks mama, the food was heavenly." he pecked her on the cheek and went to put on his shoes. They were really shiny, too clean.

How odd.

He could hear his mother humming a familiar lullaby as she danced around the kitchen, cleaning every nook and cranny thoroughly.

Will stood in the doorway, admiring the view of a small yet cosy room. The man who's salt and pepper hair was neatly combed back was silently reading the newspaper, Will knew he was looking for job offers. He always did.
His mama was twirling around in her dark red shirtwaist dress that she wore often at home.

It had been a while since his father was so calm and collected and his mother smiled like all of her worries had been washed away.

"Will!"

John called to him, telling him to hurry up if they didn't want to miss out on the new band.

Will seemed to be rooted on the spot, somehow leaving didn't sit well with him. He wanted to stay. Wanted to revel in the calm evening light that illuminated the too-small kitchen, he wanted the smell of his mother's apple pie to cling to his skin forever along with the sight of both his parents sitting in the kitchen. He wanted to memorize the deep calm that had washed away their worry lines.

He stepped back into the kitchen, going to hug his mother a second time. She was startled as she turned around, the humming died down as she gently placed her hands around his torso. Will pressed the side of his face into her soft hair. It stuck out in odd places but he didn't care, it was her.

"What's it now, my brave soldier?" she asked quietly, still in her sons embrace. She would not pull back until he did. He took a deep inhale before letting it out.

"I just... I just missed you so much, mama."

She slid her hands up and down his back in a calming manner, letting him know that she understood.

"I missed you, too. We, missed you. All three of you." she said, referring to Bucky and Steve. Bucky had always been a part of their little family and in Sarah's eyes, he was a son to her. Joseph didn't say anything as he was too engrossed with the papers. He was never a sentimental man, while Sarah had more than enough love to share, Joseph was a man of few words. That's how they worked out so well, at least in the beginning.

"I-"

She shushed him, pulling away to fix his hair and the collar of his shirt. It was a bit crumpled but it would fall out after some time.

"You have forever to make up for the time you've lost. Don't waste it on drowning in the past. Your papa and I will be here when you boys return, whenever that might be."

She said, her hand resting above his heart before pulling away. Joseph didn't say goodbye, and that was okay. With one longing look towards the kitchen, Will stepped out of the house, leaving behind the sound of a quiet lullaby and his parents who seemed so content even after all this time.

"Now, I hope you have practiced your moves, mate. Because tonight is gonna be filled with dancing." John exclaimed excitedly, almost skipping beside William as they made their way towards Hickory House.

"If you don't drink yourself under the table, first."

"Says the man whose favourite pastime was snatching moonshine."

"That was for gambling purpose only."

"Sure it was, mate. Sure it was."

The inside of the pub was already filled with people, the sound of chatter reaching their ears as soon as they stepped inside. It wasn't hard to spot his brother and Bucky, they had both attracted a lot of attention as one of them was a sergeant and the other a captain. Will had learned rather quickly that girls liked titles.

"Come on, I think I spotted Elliot and Theo in the back." John said, lighting a cigar as he strolled deeper into the dimly lit room. The band started playing, a rhythmic sound of piano, trombone and violin filled the pub and slithered its way into the crowd to pull people on the dance floor.

The two walked by the wall to not be on anyone's way, but suddenly a girl in blue caught his eye from a cross the room. He stared, following John as he realised it was Rosa.

His Rosa.

He barely paid any attention to Elliot and Theo as they greeted each other, John going in for hugs that the other two didn't seem to be that thrilled about, especially Theo. In fact, it seemed as if Theo didn't want to be there at all.

Their corner was in a pretty dark spot and had a view on the whole room, Will couldn't help but snicker as he detected Steve's discomfort each time a new dame got too close again.

"Gentlemen, if you'll excuse me." Will said, offering them an apologetic smile but knew he needed to go. John grinned, throwing his arm around Elliots shoulder to drown his whiskey. Elliot had never been much of a drinker so John would gladly help him out.

"The moves, mate. Don't forget the moves!" he yelled after Will who had already disappeared into the crowd.

"Would you stop being so loud, Lawford?" Theo grumbled, slouching against the table as if he was angry at the whole world.

"We are in a bar, you twat. Bars are loud. Now, How much y'all wanna bet he kisses her within an hour?"

"Give him half an hour."

John looked down at Elliot with raised eyebrows, he didn't think Elliot would be the one to even pay attention. A smile crept to his face as he glanced at Theo. The man huffed but straightened himself and looked over to Will who had stopped next to a girl in blue.

"I say he won't even smack his lips on her cheek. The boy is a lost cause."

"We'll see, Fox. We'll see."

Across the room, Will had tapped on Rosas shoulder to catch her attention. She had twirled around, the dress around her flaring like a bellflower. Her strawberry blond hair was done up, a few strands framing her oval-shaped face. She seemed to be in a slight shock when she saw him standing behind her, her cobalt eyes widening comically.

"Hello, Dove."

Will smiled, feeling slight blush creep on his face when Rosa suddenly tackled him in a hug.

"William! You're here!" she laughed, hugging his middle so tight he thought he would break. He didn't mind, no one around them stopped dancing and the girls she had been talking with scattered with a fits of giggles and whispers in their wake.

"You look beautiful, Rosa."

She pulled back, looking up at him with a dazzling smile. She was wearing a light blue dress that made her eyes pop. She barely reached his sternum. Her lower lip was slightly fuller than her upper lip, dragging into a pleasant smile as she realised William's eyes had traveled to her lips.

"Thank you, you look rather handsome yourself, Eagle." she teased him, causing another wave of redness to cover his cheeks.

"Would you like to dance?" he asked, dying to pull her close again. Rosa had been in his mind often and sometimes he would dream of them together in a field again, playing hide and seek before Rosa had to leave. Despite her upper class family, Rosa had never made Will feel as if he was a less of a man because he didn't have finances like the Carters did.

"Always, my soldier dearest."

Will took her hand as she stepped closer again, placing his hand on her waist as he drowned in a pair of cobalt eyes. As if on que, the rhythmic melody died down and a slow, pleasant piano tunes took over the dancers bodies. Holding Rosa Carter in his arms felt right. The world around them melted away and it was just the two of them swaying to the blues.

Then Rosa Carter pushed herself on her tippy toes and gently placed her lips upon Williams. Her lips were soft against his as his eyes fluttered shut and the strawberry scent of Rosa washed over him in waves of calm.

"Well I'll be damned. Your little brother got a girl before you."

"Shut up, Buck."

When William opened his eyes again, he was in a bit of a daze. He blinked groggily, the music still ringing in his ears but it was becoming duller with each passing second. It took him a few fleeting moments to realize that he was staring at a golden ceiling as he was laying on something soft.

The sound of dancing people, John's hollering and Rosa's delightful laugh was still echoing in the empty halls of his mind. The warm and fussy feeling had managed to relax him completely. He couldn't remember the last time he had woken up feeling this rested. He didn't have the urge to jump up, to secure the perimeter and make sure no one had snuck up on him while he was asleep.

In fact, William could close his eyes and succumb to the darkness again. It had taken him a few more minutes to realize that that's what it was. It was only a bittersweet dream of a life that he would never have.

Despite the dream, he could have sworn that he still had the taste of mama's apple pie on his tongue and the strawberry scent of Rosa on his clothes.

A whine pulled him out of the tired state as he looked down at Dog who was laying half on top of him, her large head resting on his chest as she looked down at him with those big amber eyes of hers. He hadntd even realized the fluffy creature was basically throttling him.

"Hey there."

He whispered, raising his hand lazily to pet the dog who looked as if her whole world had came crashing down. At the sound of his groggy voice, the dog's tail started wagging against the bed. Why did that dog always look so sad?

He allowed himself a few more minutes to relive the dream that had taken his breath away. What sort of dream even was that? It wasn't a memory, that he knew for sure. But whatever it was, he wished the next time he closed his eyes, he would become stuck in that dream.

"Okay, where exactly are we now?" he asked the dog as he pushed himself up. The bed he was laying on was queen sized, the sheets midnight black with a fuzzy golden blanket over them. The room was large and the furniture looked vintage. The black and golden colour of the interior made it all look a bit too fancy, but William was still confused as who did the room belong to as the most overpowering scent in the room was the smell of cleaning supplies, leather, plastic packages and dog.

There were no pictures on the walls that could help him identify the owner of the room. Aside from a ginormous picture of an abstract dog that looked a lot like Dog.

As the remnants of the dream washed away from his mind he started thinking more clearly again, the usual stoic stance coming back like a well fitted glove as he stood up. He felt weak, nearly falling on his ass if it wasn't for the wall to lean on. Dog jumped off the bed too, going to stand next to Will who was adamant on finding out what exactly had happened. The shelves were empty of personal items, there were no scents of anyone else being in this room for a long periods of time and even the desk was vacant of any sort of papers.

He halted when he noticed his backpack on a loveseat, he lunged for it immediately, terrified that the contents of it would be gone. He let out a shaky breath when found the rubics cube and the weird wooden animal along with the rest of his things.

He hugged the ugly thing, closing his eyes when he realised that this was his last memory of Steve. The right Steve. Or was there such a thing as wrong and right? What the hell was Steve anyway? Not normal, that's for sure. And Bucky? How did Bucky end up there, too? So many questions started twirling in his mind but was cut off by a gentle knock on the door.

He stuffed his things back, zipping the bag and hiding it from sight as he looked for a way out. The windows were sealed and he could detect the bullet proof glass anywhere. He was also high up, very high up. The only other door was a bathroom so, this room had only one exit, something that made Will wary immediately. He tugged Dog closer, gripping his leash as he backed away from the door. He had no weapons, but that was okay.

He was a weapon.

The door opened, revealing a strange woman he'd never seen before. She stood around 5'7 as she leaned casually against the doorframe, crossing her arms loosely. She was wearing red, fluffy socks, dark leggings and an oversized grey hoodie that fell on mid tight. The sleeves were too long and unfortunately covered her hands so Will couldn't see if she might have some weapons on her.
Her hair seemed brown in the darkness and it had a curious red tint, it fell over her shoulders in gentle waves. Her dark green eyes were looking at Will curiously and he could detect a hidden fear behind them.

"Hello."

Her voice was melodic and lacked of any sort of aggression. She stood there, looking way more relaxed than Will did.

"I'm Wanda, can I come in? I promise to keep my hands to myself this time."

Her smile fell when she realized the joke went way over his head.

William wasn't sure what to make of the woman, she didn't particularly look threatening but he knew not to judge a book by its cover. Why was she asking him? Wasn't it her place if she walked around the halls, then? She sure did look as if she lived there.

Wanda slowly entered, making sure to search Will for any sort of hostile behaviour when she closed the door behind her.

"May I?" she gestured towards a sofa. She was met with silence as she shuffled towards the brand new couch and sat down. Will had backed away, going to stand near the bed so he had clear view to Wanda and the door. If she was to show any signs of danger, he could reach the door faster than she could.

"You know you don't have to stand so far, but it's okay. I hoped I could talk before your overbearing br- I mean, before some people are gonna get up here and throttle you."

The mention of more people made his shoulders tense as he glanced towards the door again.

"I wanted to apologise."

His eyes snapped towards her again. She had folded her legs under herself as she leaned comfortably onto the fluffy pillows. She hugged one to her chest as she looked at him with those wide green eyes.

"I didn't know you all were already calming down out there. I thought my friends were in trouble and that's why I knocked you out. Sort of. I'm really sorry, but I do hope you finally got some sleep?"

She had an accent, but it was almost suffocated by American accent, a one he couldn't quite pinpoint yet. He suspected that she grew up in a Slavic country but has spent a few years in America now.

"I like your dog, she looks so soft."

she pointed towards dog who was sitting patiently next to Will. He realized he was still gripping her collar. He released her and she immediately trotted towards Wanda, her tail wagging as she placed her two paws on the couch and demanded the woman to pet her.

She smiled at the dog, looking even less threatening this way.

"I was right, her fur feels like a cloud!"

She was mesmerized by the animal who seemed to be overjoyed the more Wanda petted her. He didn't like that very much.

"Who are you?"

Will asked after a moment of silence, glaring at her. His voice was still somewhat groggy and low, he was aware that he was in a dire need of a shower and a change of clothes. He must look a wreck, but he didn't care. Despite the cold look in his eyes and the chilling tone, Wanda glanced up and sighed, looking suddenly sad.

"I used to be part of HYDRA."

She admitted, the name of the organization making Will grit his teeth in sheer anger. Was she still part of them? Had they gotten to him? But before William could start making any more assumptions, Wanda continued, knowing if she allowed him to think about it too hard he would probably do something reckless.

"I was an experiment along with my brother. We were willing participants at the time, not realising what we were really getting ourselves into. We were angry kids. Hurt by what had happened to our family so, at the time, join an organization like that had seemed like a good idea."

Williams fists were balled as he glared daggers at her. The fact that someone would join HYDRA willingly was madness. Why was she telling him that? What was her plan? What did she want?

"But then we were saved by those people in this building, we realised the horrible mistake. And ever since, we've been trying to destroy every last base left. They... They've destroyed so many lives. What I wanted to say I guess, is that to some extent, I may understand your feelings. The hatred, the fear and the anger towards certain people."

Dog had laid down and Wanda was once again cuddling a pillow. She looked so vulnerable and so very sad. Will didn't like that, either. He couldn't figure out her motive.

"Would you please come and sit down? You're making me nervous hiding in the shadows and staring at me with those crystal blue eyes of yours."

there was taunting edge to her voice now and he realized she was teasing him.

"I- no."

He said, still confused. He didn't feel as threatened by her but rather wary.

"Do you know me?" He asked, studying her face that looked as strange as every other passerby on the street. The startled look told him everything.

Their paths had crossed at one point but once again, William was the one in the dark. To confuse him even more, Wanda's face took a reddish undertone and he realised she was blushing.

"I- well, yes. I mean, I don't like, know know you, you know? But we did meet a few times. Briefly, when they, uhm wanted to demonstrate some combat skills to newbies. You, ugh, yeah. Met in the hallways a few times."

She laughed nervously, obviously hiding some things. But Will couldn't even remember teaching new recruits. He frowned, ignoring her flustered state.

"Why are you here, in this room?"

He asked another question, she didn't seem like she was going to attack him, so, he would gladly press her for any sort of information he could.

"Because I believe that you're a good man. Once a good soldier who was forced to do terrible things. I guess I just wanted to let you know that you can talk to me about it any time, and despite that terrible error that took place in that lab, this place here does not have enemies. It's a safe place for the likes of us. You know, the misunderstood lot."

There was once again an easy-going smile on her face. He frowned, curious about her. She didn't look like a HYDRA runaway. But then again, what did they even look like? He suspected most of them looked like shit, just like he did.

He stepped closer to the sofas, making her perk up a little as he sat down opposite of her. Still somewhat tense and obviously ready to bolt any second.

"I think you need to take a shower and have a change of clothes. And maybe something to eat? Then we could talk if you want? There's no rush."

Will didn't know if he was comfortable enough to leave his things and Dog to take shower. He didn't even trust this Wanda woman.

"I won't move from my spot, no one will come in and you can leave the bathroom door open to hear better if you want? I won't peek, I promise. I know you have excellent hearing that's why I'm suggesting it."

It was tempting, really tempting.

"You said no one will come in, who else is here?"

"Well, for starters, I would say Steve and Bucky, along with some other people. My brother Pietro is somewhere creating havoc and just some workers on lower levels. Higher levels here are reserved only for the damaged ones. So you and I have VIP access to the upper floors."

***

Almost 6000words! The longest chapter by far! And also, my favourite one as well, talking about favourites,

What's been your favourite moment in the book so far?

So we now have Wanda here with us, how do we feel about that? Seems to me like there's a Will Fanclub forming.

Anyways, until next chapter!

PS. IF THIS CHAPTER IS TOO CONFUSING PLASE LET ME KNOW. To those who didn't understand it through my writing, the first part was a dream that Wanda projected to Will's mind. :)
