2nd attempt
This was the night of the same day i tried the 1st attempt. I decided to try to find a pre-shifting routine. The method I used was The Pillow method!
I started off by making some Tea, i drank it whilst watching TV with my family. The tea kinda calmed me down a lot, which is good because I was very all over that place that day.
I planned to do some meditation to subliminals before shifting and then listen to another, more themed sub for the actual shifting. I find these on youtube but since i dont wanna be exposed to any screen an hour or so before shifting, i downloaded the videos as musicfiles and put on my local spotify.
I then brought my tea to my room, turned off my phone. I read a few chapter until i finished my tea, then i went and said goodnight to my family before doing my usual nightly routine, aka brushing my teeth, skincare etc.
I got dressed in my comforthoodie and read my book for anotyer 40 minutes (House of hades, Heroes of olympus, Rick Riordan)
Then I put on the first subliminal, whilst listening to that one I read through my script and then meditated for about 20 minutes.
(I listen to subs via headphones to eliminate background noise)
I then put my script under my pillow.
I switched to the sub i wanted to shift to, I layed still and imagined my DR. I thought about the people there, what activities id do when im tjere and what my room/home looked like. I also repeated affirmations in my head such as "I have shifted" "I am in DR" "I am ____" I also repeated "when I wake up I will have shifted to DR"
I did this for an hour but i wasnt able to fall asleep whilst doing that because it kept my mind active. (I wasnt even sure if I were supposed to) so i then turned it off and went to sleep.
I usually fall asleep by letting my thoughts do its own thing, and i tried to fall asleep thinking about my DR, i dont know how well it worked but eventually I fell asleep.
Sadly this didnt work and i didnt experience a lot if symptoms when doing this, but i also dont know if im supposed to.
I did write in my script that when i shifted i would feel a cold breeze and wake up from a nap as a sign to know tho.
They do say that the pillow method is the easiest one and i also feel like shifting at night is the simplest way to because i dont have to risk someone trying to wake me up. I will keep trying this one conginuesly throughout tye coming week and we'll see how it goes!
