2 Months Later...

"Mom!" Julia yelled in happiness, swimming towards her mother, "I never thought I'd see you again!" She said, hugging her mother who hugged her back.

Yasmine, Julia's mother, smiled while hugging her daughter back, "I'm so glad to see you too, Julia."

Funneh, Gold, and Draco smiled at the warm sight that was happening before them.

"Andd... CUT!" The director shouted, making the five actors who were currently on set drop their acts, "Okay, actors. We've only got one scene left to shoot, then we're officially done and it's back to Canada. Everyone gets their 30 minute break and then we all meet up back here."

The whole cast and crew who were around let out an excited cheer once they heard that they were getting their break and that they were close to being finished with this incredible project.

All the actors on set were wearing mocap - motion capture - pants since they were currently 'underwater' for the last few episodes and they were all 'mermaids' for those last few so they were going to be edited with mermaid tails after all this was done.

No one took off their costumes because the last recording session was going to be done in just half an hour and keeping their outfits on would save time rather than waste it. So instead of taking off their costumes and putting on their normal clothes, they just used their clothes over the costume.

Draco hugged Julia and they started talking with Yasmine, who was not Julia's actual mom. She was just her series mom. And while those three did that, Gold came up to Funneh and congratulated her again, just like she did when they first celebrated Funneh's success in getting the part.

Taking and then shaking Funneh's hand, Gold congratulated, "Congrats, Funneh! You're almost done with your first series," She grinned, letting go of Funneh's hand.

"T-Thanks, Gold. I wasn't sure that joining the auditions was going to get me anywhere, but I guess I got lucky," Funneh chuckled.

"You didn't get lucky, you're a natural!" Gold then stopped and gasped all of a sudden. Grabbing her phone from the table, she jumped up and down in excitement, "We should totally Instagram story this!"

Funneh thought for a moment before she shrugged and smiled, "Sure! Why not."

Gold smiled back at the blue-haired girl. She then unlocked her phone, entered Instagram, and clicked on the 'add story' button. She fixed her hair before clicking on the record button, making sure that she and Funneh were in the shoot.

"Hey, everyone! Just thought I'd let you know, we are almost done shooting our new series," Gold grinned, looking back at Funneh who nodded, "Just one more recording session and we're done! After that, we're gonna fly back to Canada and in a few months, you guys can all see 'em premiere on Netflix! Mwah!" She made a kissy face and a kissing noise, "Love you lots-!"

Gold was about to end the story when Draco jumped on her back, making her stumble before thankfully, regaining her balance.

"WAIT!" Draco practically shrieked, "Are you doing a story?"

Gold deadpanned at him, "Um, duh. Obviously," She rolled her eyes.

Julia also came into the shoot, "Well, hey, fam! We're all here together and we're getting ready for the last shoot!"

"This project has been really fun to make, especially with these three!" Draco smiled, bringing in his three friends in a hug, "And even though Funneh's new, she's part of our family to us."

Funneh's face broke out in a grin from hearing Draco's words, and when the other two added in more compliments about her, she couldn't stop herself from covering her face and thanking them.

"Oh, my gosh. You guys are the best! And yeah, I've been feeling really appreciated ever since I joined this cast group. I hope you'll love this project as much as we do!" Funneh added.

The rest voiced out their own agreements before Gold ended it with, "Well, we'll see you guys again next time. Love you lots! Mwah!" Lastly, she added the kiss noise before ending the story and letting itself post.

"Whoo!" Funneh exclaimed, clapping her hand with Draco's, "So, where do you guys wanna go? You know, since we still have half an hour before we go back to work?"

Gold had a half-smile half-frown on her face, "Um, I don't know. Like, we're still kids, Funneh. I don't think the adults will let us leave all on our own. We could get kidnapped."

"Yeah," Draco nodded, "You still remember that one time you nearly got napped by that nasty guy, don't you?"

Funneh visibly shivered in fear, hugging herself, "Ugh, don't remind me. That was one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me. In all honesty, I'm just glad you guys were able to rescue me," She bit her lip.

Draco laughed, lightly punching the blue-haired girl's shoulder, "Don't mention it. It was nothing."

"Yeah, Funneh. Take it lightly, we just didn't want to let you get kidnapped when we were able to save you," Gold clarified.

"I am never gonna take that lightly, you two. Hehe, it means too much to me."

"Hmm," Julia hummed, looking at her phone. She then looked at them, "Are we still going to go somewhere, or...?"

Gold sighed, "I wanna go get a drink or two but where are a bunch of 7 year olds-"

"I'm actually 6 and a half," Julia pointed out.

"That just proves my point!" Gold shook her head, "Where are we - a bunch of kids - supposed to go?"

Julia showed her phone to them, "Well, I was asking because there's a cafe just two buildings down. Wanna go check that place out?"

Being the excited kids they were, they shouted out their agreements and they were off. Everyone brought their sling bags and stored their phones and money in them so that they could call the director if anything goes south.

As soon as they entered the cafe - it was called the Cafe De Rainbow, they could already smell the amazing sweet aroma of sugary sweets and drinks. The building was decorated quite nicely. There wasn't a spot that wasn't flawless, everything was clean and spotless.

The place was mostly light pink and white but there were some touches of rainbow every here and there. The line wasn't too long but most of the seats were filled so this place must've been a very popular cafe if it has this many customers.

While they were waiting in line, Gold was fawning over the aesthetics of the place. Her phone was already out of her expensive Valentino Garavani sling bag and in her hand, taking snaps and shots of the beautiful cafe.

Funneh was also amazed by the artistry of the cafe but was pulled out of her trance when she heard snaps of a camera. She looked to her side and saw Gold taking pictures of the place. She giggled which caught Gold's attention.

Almost instantly, Gold looked at Funneh and asked, "Can you help take a few pictures of me later? Thanks," She said before going back to taking photos and selfies.

Caught off guard by the quick question, Funneh didn't answer until she regained her composure, "Oh, uh. Sure? I guess..."

"Funneh, Gold," Julia spoke up, pulling on their arms, "Come on. Draco's already ordering his drinks."

"Wait, wait, wait," Gold said while they walked to the counter, "Drinks? You mean, he's ordering more than one sugary drink?" She asked, unusually worried.

Looking from side to side in confusion, Julia answered, "Yes...? Is there something wrong with that?"

"YES!" Gold shrieked, "He gets sugar rush easily, Julia. I thought you'd know that by now."

"O-Oh, right. Sorry, I forgot."

"It's fine. Let's just get those drinks away from him before he becomes sugar-hyped Draco."

"Um, Gold?" Funneh frowned.

Gold and Julia turned to look at Funneh, "Yes?"

Funneh also turned around to look at them while pointing a finger at the counter Draco was at, "Kinda too late for that, heh..."

As all three of them turned to Draco, they all saw him giving his money to the young worker girl at the counter and then receiving his ten sugar-filled drinks which he hugged at while sipping all of them at once.

"DRACO!"

The three girls screamed at him which earned a few odd looks from the adults around them but they ignored them as they tried their best to pry the drinks from the now-whining raven-haired boy.

"Draco, you know that you get sugar rush easily- COME ON, MAN!"

"Draco. Give... me... this... NOW!"

"Stop, Draco, stop! Stop drinking everything right now, mister!"

Draco kept saying that he won't get a sugar rush while the girls were saying otherwise. All this while they left the cafe, knowing that Draco had bought more than enough drinks for all four of them.

Unbeknownst to them, the young girl at the counter that Draco talked to looked at them warmly. She was surprisingly extremely young; about their age or a little bit older. She had an extremely cute smile plastered on her adorable face. Her hair was mostly black but the ends were a pale pink color. She was wearing the uniform every other staff in the cafe was wearing but she had a cake-shaped hat on her head.

She sighed, resting her head on her hand, "I wish I had best friends like them," She frowned. She then turned around and looked at the gigantic poster behind her which had a picture of a middle-aged man who had pink hair grinning genuinely. The little girl smiled, "This business is only the start. I hope to be as successful as you one day... Dad."

And with that, she gave out another upsetting sigh before going back to her work, making more drinks and snacks before serving them out to her customers.

"BREAK'S OVER, CREW! Back to work, everybody. Back to work!" The director's shout rang throughout the whole building because he did use the microphone that was connected to all the speakers in the recording studio.

Fortunately for the young stars, they had just made it to the entrance when they heard the call. They all managed to get the sugary milkshakes away from Draco and they all ended up drinking one cup each while stashing the rest for later.

As soon as they heard the director's shout, they scrambled - throwing their now-empty cups in the trash can before running as fast as their little legs can carry them to studio 47, which was the studio they were using for the last scene.

Bursting into the room through the doors, they all struggled to get their clothes off which revealed their costumes underneath, "We're here! We're here," They all screamed simultaneously as soon as they came into the room.

Julia got her civilian clothes off first. She put them away on a table, tidily folded, and walked towards the director, ignoring her slightly older friends' struggling grunts behind her.

"Um, apologies for our inconvenience, sir. We got a bit distracted with some, uh, personal stuff outside the building and completely forgot about the time. Hope you understand," She said, whispering the last sentence.

The director looked at Julia with an emotionless look as she explained before giving her a warm smile when she finished. He bent down to her height and ruffled her hair ever so slightly, making sure to not mess up her hair that was already styled for the shoot.

He chuckled, "Young Julia, it's alright. I understand the feeling of getting distracted with personal friend activities. It's all normal for a young mind such as you and your friends'."

At hearing the director's understanding voice, Julia let out a breath of relief that she didn't even know she was holding as she replied, "Whoo, thank you for understanding," She smiled.

"It's quite fine, Julia. But now, let's start recording the last scene so we can stay on schedule," He said, walking away to his position, "Wouldn't wanna have another delay, now, would we?"

"Definitely, not, sir."

"Good. Now, get everything ready, people!" The director commanded the staff. Not aggressively but more authoritatively.

Julia turned around just in time to see her 3 co-stars approaching her from behind, dusting off some dust on their costumes.

"Ready for the last recording session, guys?"

"Oh- YES... I can't wait to go back to Canada after this," Funneh answered with a laugh and a jump.

"Of course, sister!" Gold beamed, side-hugging Julia and Funneh, who smiled along with her.

"Yep! This series is going to be great!" Draco responded with a small smile on his face as he watched Gold side-hugging his two other closest female friends.

The blonde-haired mermaid star returned Gold's hug by putting an arm around her shoulder while saying, "Well, that won't happen unless we finish this show so... Let's finish this already!"

They all let out a cry of celebration while running towards the 'underwater' set, meeting Yasmine on their way there.

"So, like, are we awesome mer-babies or what?" Funneh asked Yasmine smugly, striking a cute pose while showing off her blue mermaid tail.

Julia swam upwards in excitement, "Yes, you are!"

Simultaneously, Yasmine nodded formally, "Very awesome mermaids."

"Let's celebrate, you guys!" Julia exclaimed, excitedly pulling on Gold and Draco's arms.

Funneh approached her, "Celebrate with what?"

"With..." Reaching into her back, Julia retracted her hands and showed off four soggy burgers, "BURGERS!"

"YAY!" The three temporary mermaids shouted before Gold and Funneh shook their heads with a smile - Draco was swimming up and down excitedly, "No, no," Despite them saying 'no', Julia still gave them their burgers anyway and ate hers in one bite.

"I'm sick of burgers, um," Funneh put her hand in front of her mouth as if she was gagging, "I'm done. No thanks," Then she gagged for real before figuring out that it was because the temporary mermaid potions were starting to wear off, "I think we need to go back to the surface, guys."

Gold nodded in agreement, swimming up a little bit to show her agreement, "Yeah... I'm having a hard time breathing."

"What? You're leaving so soon...?" Julia's happy mood turned into a disappointed one.

Meanwhile, Funneh started thanking the real mermaids, "Thank you for bringing us to your kingdom. We will return once again - But for now, we have to go back to the surface," She broke the news to her new mermaid friend who was on the verge of tears, "Thank you so much for having us."

Yasmine shook her head and chuckled, "No. Thank you for saving our kingdom," The underwater Queen thanked.

"You're welcome," Funneh bowed, "You're welcome."

"You're welcome!" Gold chirped happily.

Then they turned around, ready to go back home, "Mer-babies, out!" Funneh commanded.

"Bye, Julia and Yasmine!"

"Bye, Julia," Draco smiled sadly at his mermaid 'girlfriend' while slowly swimming backwards.

Julia smiled back at Draco, waving, "Will you come visit again soon?"

Gold nodded, answering with, "Yeah, we will!" And Funneh nodded, showing her agreement.

They waved again and started swimming away when Julia stopped them again, "Wait, Draco! Before you go..."

Gold and Funneh stopped and turned around to see what Julia and Draco were doing. The dragon boy stared into Julia's emerald orbs and said, "Yes?" He smiled hopefully.

Julia came closer to him and pecked his cheek, "Mwah!" She pulled back as soon as her lips came in contact with the boy's cheek, blushing madly, "Thank you."

Draco was just floating in his spot, a frozen blushing mess. He shook out of his daydream when he heard Gold and Funneh giggling, his blush growing a hundred times hotter.

"Draco," Funneh pushed him playfully, still giggling, "Stop, stop. O-Okay, that's enough-that's enough for Draco for one day, now let's get out of here guys!"

Gold swam after Funneh, who was getting far ahead, before she stopped at the sight of Draco not leaving, "Draco? You coming?" She asked

Draco nodded and smiled at his friend, "Yea-Yeah. You go on without me, I'll catch up," When he saw Gold frown worrily, he added, "I'll be right behind you. You won't even notice I wasn't there in the first place. Trust me."

His last two words seemed to do the trick as the golden girl stated, "I trust you," Then she started swimming after her blue-haired friend, "Hey, Funneh! Wait up!"

The green-eyed kid chuckled at Gold before he turned around to face his lover again, "Julia, I don't want to say goodbye but... I promise I'll be back as soon as possible," He gave her his word as the sky began to grow dark due to the moon coming out and the sun setting.

What she did next was unexpected but Julia lunged forward and gave him a huge hug while whispering her trust in him, "I know. I trust you, Draco," She closed her eyes as a tear slipped past her eye and mixed with the salty ocean water.

They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity before parting from each other. Draco then brought up a certain subject. He bit his lip as he felt a blush coming up, "We haven't exactly had a proper confection and date, Julia."

"I think you mean 'confession', Draco," She giggled at his word slip-up.

"O-Oh! Right, heh. Sorry 'bout that... So," He retried.

"So..." She repeated after him. Draco bit inside his cheek and muttered a sentence that Julia wasn't able to make out. Making a signal to her ear, she said, "Sorry, I didn't catch that," He repeated his sentence but in a louder mutter that still wasn't audible, "Sorry, again, but... What?"

He let out a frustrated sigh, "I like you, Julia. Like, a lot. So, uh, do you want to be my mer-girlfriend?" He asked, stuttering a couple of times.

It was quiet for the first few seconds before Julia lunged forward again to hug him, only harder, while screaming, "Oh, YES, DRACO! YESSS!" She laughed.

Draco hugged her back tenderly before slipping a golden, water-proof bracelet onto Julia's arm. She pulled back to see the bracelet, rewarding the temporary merboy with another smooch on the cheek.

Julia and Draco shared one last hug before they swam in opposite directions - Draco to the surface where his friends await for him and Julia to her kingdom where her family awaits her. The scene zoomed upwards and zoomed into the moon before...

"CUT!" The director shouted, "That was amazing chemistry, Draco and Julia. You two absolutely KILLED IT!" He applauded.

Hearing the incredibly loud 'cut' from the director, the two young actors still on set took that as their cue to cut their theatrics and bow to the crew who were clapping for them.

The director looked at the clipboard in his hands, flipping through all the pages while muttering some inaudible words before he got up from his seat and looked at the whole cast and crew, "Attention, everyone! We have finally finished recording the entire first season of the series and with a deal I've made with a certain friend of mine..." He paused for the dramatic effect, "Unlike other TV series actors... WE'RE GOING ON TOUR!"

At hearing the shocking news, after getting over their shock, every single people in the room started shouting in excitement and celebrated. The young stars - Funneh, Gold, Draco, and Julia - looked at each other and started hugging one another, sing-songing, "We're going on tour! We're going on tour!" They screamed in utter exhilaration.

Once the screaming and cheering from the people died down, the director cleared his throat, gathering everyone's attention once again.

"I know that I said once we finish recording we'd go back to Canada, but thanks to my dearest friend, we will be promoting our film by going on tour all over America!" He then turned to the four young stars, "But before that, I'd like to propose a toast to Draco, Julia, Gold, and Funneh," Simultaneously, while he talked, some of the crew and cast started to pass around wine glasses that were filled with non-alcoholic cider. The director turned to the kids, "I thank you four for being an amazing team who performed for the whole series incredibly well. In all honesty, you all surpassed my expectations for this new show," He then turned to look at the whole cast and crew, "TO OUR YOUNG STARS!"

"TO THE STARS!" Everyone repeated in perfect sync before gulping down the cider.

Meanwhile, the kids all smiled respectfully at the adults who clapped for them. They also had the drinks the adults drank so after everyone started leaving, Funneh gave the drink a lick.

"So?" Gold asked, still unsure of drinking the liquid.

Licking her lips, concentrating hard on the flavor, Funneh suddenly smiled and looked at her friends, "Tastes like regular apple juice."

Gold muttered an 'oh' while Draco and Julia shrugged. The two walked to the nearest window and stared out at the beautiful sunset before clicking their glasses together, "Cheers!" They said before drinking the apple cider.

Funneh and Gold giggled at the sight of Draco and Julia still acting like a couple before they did the same thing. Only, they stayed in their spot and just clicked their glasses.

"Cheers!"
