"mark wanted me to give you this."

haechan holds out a piece of folded paper. it has been three whole days since y/n finally visited mark's grave.

"what...what is this?" y/n asks slowly.

"it's a letter. he wrote it in the hospital." haechan lets out a small laugh. "he apologizes for the messy handwriting. he had to write it with his left hand since his right was...shattered."

"oh."

she did not visit him in the hospital. she felt too guilty. at school, she was insulted and yelled at by everyone. after all, everybody loved and loves the mark lee. especially his girlfriend, who has every class with y/n.

eventually, she stops attending.

when he passes away, she is secretly relieved. haechan describes the amount of pain mark was in because she asks, but she regrets asking.

deep down, she is scared of how he would be around her if he survived.

she did not attend his funeral. she did not visit his grave.

she is the worst best friend ever.
