One week passed after anjali discharge. Arnav daily sent gifts to khushi like stars, sarees, handbags, pearl jewels even handmade cards, but all face the same treatment as the first gift, that is ended in trash. Anjali health also improved but she is still angry on arnav or say fear. Arnav didn't even once show his face to anjali after dinner incident. He always sees her from the distance & getting updates from the doctor. Family behaviour towards arnav also same except nk who took care of arnav, nowadays. Simply nothing changed in this one week. Next day in RM living room morning,

NK: Dadiji, today i have to leave for Sydney at 11 a.m.

Nani: Why suddenly bituwa?

NK: Dad is not well dadiji...

Nani: Take care and tell your dad to take care of his health, said politely.

NK: Ok dadiji and hugs all of them before he disappear into arnav's room. Arnav is getting ready for office.

NK: Nannav............shouts and went to hug him.

Arnav: What the....what happened to you nk?

NK: oh come on nannav, don't be a spoilt sport.

Arnav: What calls you here in my room that too in morning?

NK: Nannav i am going to Sydney for a week.

Arnav: Unbelievable for this you are shouting like an earthquake happened, anyway i will be in peace, said in one breath.

NK: Don't worry i will arrive within a week. Until then take care nannav. What did khushiji said?

Arnav: What she would've said when still she's adamant on ignoring me...She thinks i don't love her....leave it nk. When did your flight? Why for a week suddenly?

NK: Dad is unwell nannav so i have to go. Don't lose hope nannav khushiji will forgive you soon. My flight is at 1 p.m. Why didn't you still not leave for the office, i thought i have to meet you at the office.

Arnav: I overslept...I'll leave through the backdoor. Don't worry. Safe journey...

NK nods hugs him and went from there thinking something. Arnav also left for office through the backdoor. Here in NK room,

NK dials someone...after sometime...Hello khushiji !

Khushi: Hello nanehji ! How are you? You didn't even once call me after our last meet, asked in complaint tone.

NK: I am fine khushiji, I am fully busy you know that's why i didn't have time to call you, said jokingly.

Khushi: Don't lie nanehji, I know that day because of arnavji you called me and take me for an outing. If you again call me for this purpose then please nanehji don't waste your time. Nothing is going to change, said in stern voice.

NK: No khushiji i didn't call for that, i am going to Sydney, i called you to inform this.

Khushi: Oh ok safe journey nanehji.

NK: Thanks khushiji, After a minute of silence he started i have to talk to you about nannav said hesitantly.

Khushi: What is there to speak nanehji? asked in not-so-emotional voice.

NK: Why don't you forgive nannav? He is repenting khushiji. Don't you see it in this one week? He is working hard to gain your forgiveness khushiji.

Khushi: He is just guilty that's why he is doing all this. After i forgive him what will happen? Again i will be the one who get hurt, said in a low voice.

NK: Why are you saying like this khushiji? You love him, he loves you then what is the problem? If you forgive him then you both will lead a happy life.

Khushi: No nanehji, he doesn't love me you must be misunderstood his guilt as love.

NK: No Khushiji, if he was only guilty then he did not have to do the things he is doing now like sending gifts. He may ask simply sorry for one time and ignored you, but nothing of this sort happened, so obviously he loves you.

Khushi: Nahi, today his di is not talking to him so he needs me, in future if any problem arrives in his di's life then i will be the scapegoat again. I am not ready for it.

NK: shakes his head & says it's not like that Khushiji. He truly loves you maybe in past, he made mistakes but now he is changed. Please consider him Khushiji.

Khushi: I am a mistake in his life nanehji, he said it in the hospital. So I decide to correct his mistake. Please, nanehji don't take his side without knowing anything. Take care, good journey, bye....said this she cut the call.

Nk is confused and scratches his head what khushiji said....mistake... nannav said this. I have to tell this to nannav thinking this, calls arnav but it went as voice message. He tries for sometimes, but he couldn't reach arnav sadly he went to Sydney.

At night arnav lonely serves himself & went to sleep. He did not want to be weak as he has more work to woo khushi. If his health didn't support him then all his plans become vain. So he takes care of himself even if nk is not here.

Two more days passed, nk tried calling arnav but arnav didn't attend his calls as he did not want nk to worry about him. Arnav is in the office working in his cabin, his phone rings. Seeing the caller id he become more happy, in this two days he did not see her nor disturb her. He thought to give her some space.

Arnav: Hello khushi.....said excitedly.

Khushi: I want to talk to you arnavji. Can you come to the nearby temple?

Arnav: Sure khushi, I'll be in 10 mins., said happily.

Khushi: Ok i will be waiting for you.

Arnav excitedly leaves for temple, never in his life he happily went to temple like today. Finally, khushi decide to speak to him, maybe she forgave him with these thoughts he drives his car towards the temple. On the way, he bought jalebi and takes a red sari which he already designed for her. In temple,

Khushi already waiting there. Arnav walk fastly or say run towards khushi with a small smile on his face. Khushi notices arnav closely he looks so thin suddenly, dark circles are formed under his eyes and in this one week, he looks like he grown 5 years older than the actual age. Arnav reaches there,

Arnav: Hi....said huskily and asks how are you?

Khushi: Fine, I want to speak about us. Do you remember what day is today?

Arnav: Today what khushi? he is trying hard to remember what today is? as far as he know today is no one's birthday then?

Khushi: Today is the day when our contract marriage ends, now you remember.

Suddenly realisation dawned on him, today is the completion of their contract marriage. Oh no, how the hell did he forget this?

Khushi: See you are saying you are repenting but you didn't even remember this day, this proves you don't love me. See your surrounding arnavji this is the same temple where you married me. Now i want to end it here. Our contract also over, i fulfilled the purpose of contract, saying this she unhooks her mangalsutra & give it to him.

But arnav didn't move his hands he is staring at her painfully and digesting her actions. khushi forcefully held his hand and place the mangalsutra in his palm.

Khushi: All are over between us. Now we don't share any relation other than i am your sister-in-law sister.

Arnav: Khushi.....said painfully.

Khushi: Please don't disturb me by sending gifts, saying this she went from there.

Arnav is shocked by the turn of events still now he had little hope that khushi will forgive him but seeing the mangalsutra in his palms tells him a different story. He knows Khushi is not the one who easily pull off her mangalsutra, she is a traditional girl who values the cultures and tradition and it means a lot to her, that means he has lost the chance to live his life, he shudders at this thought he felt his whole life went away from him. He don't know how long he stood there.

Meanwhile in RM, Aakash room

Aakash: Happy 6 month anniversary payal...

Payal: Same to you aakash, said shyly hugging him.

Aakash: Payal i thought we both alone go to a restaurant but you know the family situation so can we go all?

Payal: I understand aakash, we all can go. Di too needs different environment.

Aakash: What about khushiji? Can we invite her too?

Payal: No aakash, if she remembers this day then she will be hurt. Arnavji also be there na?

Aakash: Nahi payal, he will not come. If he comes then di also feel uncomfortable and she cannot enjoy there. So don't tell anything to him, saying this he went to living room.

Aakash: Dadiji why don't we go out for dinner today? It will be refreshment for di.

Nani: (Excitedly)wah...Good idea aakash bituwa, she also needs change after her discharge she didn't go outside.

Aakash: Ok dadi, i will book for a restaurant. No need to cook.

After some hours all family members except arnav went to restaurant. All are sitting in a circular table.

Aakash: I think we all go to picnic what say? He asked after settled in restaurant.

Anjali: yeah aakash how long it had been we went to a picnic, nani say yes na. Seeing anjali excited and happy all agrees.

Anjali: But one condition.....

Aakash: What di?

Anjali: Invite Khushiji and her family too. I didn't see khushiji for more than a week.

Aakash: ok di said smilingly.

After finishing dinner all went home. On the other side, arnav is driving his car speedily and goes to his mama's garden. There he completely broke down and slept there itself.

Khushi also lying in bed thinking today events, how she break off her relation with arnav, she too felt pain while seeing arnav looks pale and worn out. What she can do when he does not love her, she too thought after arnav rescued from shyam clutches they live happily without any hate. Seems like destiny is not with them, the one whom she love always went far away from her. It's her mistake to fell for a heartless man, enough is enough from tomorrow onwards i am not going to cry over arnavji. I have to start my life fresh, thinking this slowly slept not knowing really her life is going to change from tomorrow.
