See through yourself

Mirrors only show me what I can't change.

They show me everything on this shell I call a body.

Soft cheeks, scars, makeup.

They can make me believe you are less.

They can make me cover up imperfect spots

Just so I can be society's definition of perfect.

Maybe, we should replace them.

Replace them with glass.

Then, I can't see my flaws.

I can only see ahead.

I can only see the world.

I can see through myself.
