"You're no gonna get away thief!!" The policeman said as he and the other officers chase the young man into the dark part of the road. It was oddly silent for the only thing that is heard is the siren and the screams of the cops because there no other people there. The teen turned to a corner in a dark alley that resulted to the police that couldn't catch him, nor see him, for he was too fast, and they wouldn't see him lurking in the shadows. "That brat sure does know how to run." "We'll catch him next time, he can't run for long." They soon turned around and headed for their vehicle. Seeing their backs made the thief relax and loosen his stiff shoulders somewhere by the shadows of the brick alley.

Sigh.

He let out as he was walking down the dark alley and climbing up a fence. He had just stolen some medicine and a little amount of food. 'I need to go back' he thought. His mint green eyes glowing in contrast of the blackness he was wearing. He took of his black hood and opened up his jacket revealing blond hair and a face no older than 15 as he stepped up into the light of the sidewalk.

After hours of walking, he then stood before a deserted run down house in the middle of an unknown forest. Just as he was about to enter he heard loud coughs filled with pain and, with that, he ran. He ran as fast as he could inside and up the stairs skipping steps along the way. As he burst into a room, his face was filled with worry and fear. Fear as he saw the blood that spat out of the little girl's mouth as she coughed. "Lilli..."

The voice of the blond's voice startled the female laying down on the old, single bed covered by dirty blankets. "Big brother!!" The said female, Lilli, sat down and she looked a lot like her brother. Short blonde hair, bright mint green eyes, deathly pale skin and her weak body, the only difference was that blood was all around her. Blood, red blood covering her lips, and a part of her hand; from coughing. "Good to.... See you..... Here from..... Work..." She coughed every time she said two words. Each time his sister coughed kept him on edge.

"Big.... Big brother?" Lilli said, noticing her brother's silence. "Y-Yes? Oh Yes!! Lilli, I got medicine and food for you..." Lilli looked at the bottle and the piece of bread then back at her brother. After a long period of silence, she took the things her brother was giving her and thanked her brother. "Big brother?' "Hmm...?" "Did you eat yet? Do you want some?"

"No thanks, you need it more than I do."
