We all were devastated, so they sent us to our rooms to rest for awhile, like what the fuck, how can somebody do that

" Hey" Kartik came and sat beside me

" Are you ok?" I asked

" My dad was behind all this, so no I'm not ok, I understand now, why Joe wanted to kill me there" Kartik said

" Maybe after getting infected they got their memories back" I explained

" Ya maybe" he said as we hugged eachother

We were back in his office, Leslie was not here, she said she didn't want see Mr.Wilson but rather hear the story from us, so we let her be.

" As I was saying, after his death, you all were devastated, you all were hurting very badly, even went into depression, so all your parents decided that what if we remove your memories" Mr.Wilson said

Wow!! Our parents were better in the virtual world

" That's why we removed your memories and sent you there and some more volunteers, you all were doing good, until you met each other again and formed a group there" he explained

" So what? Looks like you're memory removal tool failed, it couldn't stop the feelings" Angelina stated

" Maybe, but then the artificial intelligence that managed out system and everything went rogue, that's when you started seeing deaths in your world the virus, it created it" he explained

" You mean the ai created the virus?" I asked

" Yes, when the system noticed that some people were gaining back there memories, I think it was scared that we'll scrape it, so it started acting on it's own, so the human or humanoids stared the BOFF facility to find the cure, it was a mess" he explained

" Why didn't you scrape it then?" Kayleigh asked

" We were shocked, but when we tried to, it didn't let us, it locked us out. We didn't knew what was happening inside, and then one day, it spreaded the virus in the real world " he said

" How that can be possible?" Catherine asked

" Just a few changes in a combination of medicine and there you have it. It had connections to the real world too. So we cut all the connections to the real world, that's when everything was destroyed in the virtual world, because ai needs information to evolve, but now it doesn't have it" he explained more

" What about here? Is everyone ok?" I asked

" The virus spread, people died, many people died, but we controlled it" he said

" Who?" Kartik asked

" Your closed ones " Mr.Wilson said not looking anyone in the eye.
