" No Mr.Wilson" Kartik shouted

" What is happening?" Tristan asked

" Where is Jack?" Leslie was worried

" He was not with us in the shower" Kayleigh said

" Everyone settled down" Mr.Wilson shouted

" You lot was always difficult to deal with, even with your memories gone, you're together" Mr.Wilson looked disappointed

" What?!" Angelina was shocked and beyond furious, she was about to attack him, when Kayleigh held her back.

" How about you tell the others what you told me" Kartik said glaring at his dad

" Kartik, it was just temporary, I didn't meant it to happen this way" His dad tried to explain

" EXPLAIN" Kartik shouted

" Fine, everyone please come to my office " his dad asked us, so we followed him

" So it all began with an experiment " he said

" Obviously " I scoffed

He looked at me sadly, what was that?

" Our company was researching many things at that time, and somehow we found that we can remove memories without really hurting the person, but we needed it to test, and that too in a safe environment where we can monitor the person and the situation." He said

" So you decided, we'll be your saviours?" Angelina said sarcastically

" No, I was thinking, maybe we can make a deal with the government or something like that, as it was very risky, but then something happened " he said

" Continue " Kartik said taking a deep breath

" Your friend Jack and his father died in a crash" he said

" Are you kidding, he was with us the whole time" Tristan said, trying to understand

" Was he?" Kartik's dad asked

He was not with us right now, what does it mean?

" What do you mean?" Leslie was on the verge of crying, while we were all just confused

" He died" Kartik's dad said

" But then...how was he there...I mean this cannot be...." Tristan was on his feet

" It was just a robot or you can say develop through artificial intelligence to test your memories " Mr.Wilson explained

" How could you do that?" I was shocked

" It was just to test, that if you remember him, as he was your friend " he explained

" How can you say it so easily, he was our friend and you manipulated our memories about him" Catherine shouted

" Trust me, our system designed him the exact way he was with you" Mr.Wilson tried to explain

" And what? That make things good?" Angelina asked, she didn't know him much, but you can see the sadness in her eyes as she walked towards Tristan and hugged him, who broke down
