"I AM...COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

Silence.

The entire class of aspiring heroes watched in awe at the infamous hero posed before them. Despite having already met the number one hero, Valentina couldn't help but rock back and forth in excitement, a dazed smile evident on her lips.

"Woah, it's All Might!"

"He really is a teacher!"

"That's the costume from the Silver Age, isn't it?"

He paused in front of the class, his usual blinding grin plastered across his face. Valentina let out a small squeal earning a cautious look from Jiro, who sat on her right.

"I think I'm going to pee myself." Valentina admitted to the purple-haired girl, causing her to scoot away.

Raiden Zaveri, who was sat behind her hummed. "I think I just did."

The class quietened down as All Might placed his hands on his hips. Valentina stifled a laugh as she heard Midoriya fanboying somewhere behind her.

"I teach Basic Hero training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll take the most units of this subject!" He begun to flex his bulging biceps. "Let's get right into it!"

He pulled out a card and faced it towards the class. "Today you'll be doing...Battle Training!"

Valentina's leg began to bounce, an eager expression on her face. She glanced over at the closest person to her, who happened to be Bakugo, who was on left. The explosive boy had a vicious look in his eyes and Valentina's eager expression began to disperse.

She definitely did not want to have to fight him.

"And to go with that are these—" He pressed a button and twenty-four large cases swiftly shot out of the wall. "—costumes based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started!"

As the classroom erupted in enthusiastic chatter, Valentina felt a little lightheaded. The thought of her training to become a hero sounded like something out of her comic book. In fact, the whole experience felt like one amazing dream.

But in reality, she was one step closer to becoming a hero.

Valentina tugged on the costume she had spent hours designing. It was easy to move around in, not to mention, it looked awesome. She pulled off the goggles perched onto her head, wondering why she allowed her younger brother to add his input to her costume. The enthused girl peered over at her classmates, sucking in a breath. They looked incredible.

Her eyes shifted over to All Might who was grinning brightly at his class of youthful aspiring heroes. Placing a hand on Valentina's head, he ruffled her hair as though she were a young child.

"I expect great things from you, young Beauregard."

Valentina sent the number one hero a dimpled smile. "Thank you, Mr All Might, sir!"

He let out a thunderous laugh before suddenly tensing up. Valentina followed his gaze and landed on Midoriya. His costume looked extremely similar to All Might. As the two made eye contact, she sent him a big thumbs up to which he mirrored shakily.

Once the class had settled down, All Might explained how the lesson will play out. Valentina could hardly concentrate but knew the gist of what she had to do. She tried to keep focused, after all, this was an essential class however she ended up zoning out. She was snapped back to reality once the first two teams had been sent into battle.

Up first was Kiaria and Midoriya versus Bakugo and Iida. To say their fight was intense would have been sugar-coating it. Much to Valentina's surprise, Kiaria was cooperating really well with Midoriya. Maybe the brunette was only bitter around Valentina.

In the end, Midoriya had completely destroyed the building and Kiaria used that as an opening to flood the entire room with gold, trapping Iida. However, despite the fact that they won, the damage they had caused was disastrous.

Valentina gulped. Were all the fights going to be this intense? Next up were Todoroki and Shoji versus Ojiro and Hagakure. The fight was promptly over as Todoroki had frozen the entire building in a thick layer of ice not only immobilizing his opponents but also securing the payload.

After the review of the second match, Rio Kaneko and Koda were up as the villains against Aoyama and Ashido. Valentina had assumed that Rio would finally show off her extraordinary Quirk, however, the timid girl didn't even consider using it. The nervous duo barred up the doors however Ashido skillfully melted it with her acid.

Needless to say, their downfall was a painful one.

"Now, for the next round! Okumura and Mineta as the villains versus Kirishima and Beauregard!"

Valentina skipped with every step she took as she babbled on mindlessly to the red-haired boy walking beside her. After Midoriya's painful confrontation with Bakugo, they had come to the timely decision that they should stick together and make their way to the payload as fast as possible.

"By the way dude, " Valentina spoke, forgetting that Mineta or Raiden would ambush her team of two any second, "Your costume is so cool. Very macho."

"Thanks!" Kirishima flashed his shark-like teeth at her. "Yours is very manly as well!"

Valentina beamed at him and they continued to converse until they reached the last floor. At the end of the corridor was a large door and the two were certain that that was the room containing the "bomb". Valentina had felt a large pull towards the room which meant that there were people inside it.

And the only other people in the building were Raiden and Mineta.

They eyed the door. "So, Raiden's Quirk is heat ray vision and Mineta is..."

"Pop Off." Kirishima finished. He clenched his fists together, hardening his arms whilst Valentina gaped at him, awestruck.

His Quirk was incredible.

"We should surprise them." Valentina blurted out, surprising both Kirishima and herself.

He sent her a questioning look. "I thought we were going to just attack them suddenly?"

She kept her gaze fixated on the door whilst Kirishima watched her as though he were trying to figure out what the hell was going on in her head. She would've probably had the same reaction.

Valentina wasn't one to think things through. She'd rush into any problem headfirst hoping that would solve her dilemmas. But if she wanted to become a hero, she'd have to stop being so reckless all the time.

"I know, but what if they booby-trapped the door or they're both waiting at the door to catch us the moment we walk in?" She suggested whilst rubbing her chin, obviously deep in thought. "We've got to be more careful."

Kirishima's crimson eyes lingered on her for a few moments longer. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he sent her a confident look.

"So, what's the plan?"

Valentina's breath hitched as peered down at the ground. If she fell, she'd most likely be able to use her Quirk quick enough to save herself, but she'd be leaving Kirishima alone with the two villains. He trusted her and followed her plan, she would not be abandoning him anytime soon.

There was little footing for her yet she held on firmly to pieces of brick that were sticking out of the building. Valentina and Kirishima had decided that she would go around the outside of the building and as Kirishima distracted Mineta and Raiden she'd jump for the payload.

She probably should've thought of a different route as the thought of falling made her more anxious by the second.

After what felt like an eternity, she had finally reached her destination. She cautiously peered through the tainted glass window, watching in shock as Kirishima dauntlessly fought off the two villains.

Mineta was sent flying across the room by Kirishima whilst Raiden shot out a scorching beam towards his opponent. Her red-haired teammate shielded his face with his hardened arms, struggling to stay upright due to Raiden's immense power. Her gaze hastily averted to the payload, eyes narrowing into slits as she clenched her right fist, ready to break the window.

She smashed the glass with one powerful hit and soared across the room. Raiden halted his assault, his eyes flickering to Valentina momentarily. Kirishima used this as an opportunity to lunge at Raiden, but the brunet narrowly jumped to the side, dodging Kirishima's attack.

Valentina reached out to place her hands onto the payload when Raiden hit her with one of his beams of heat, sending her flying across the room. She slammed into the wall before rapidly jumping up onto her feet.

The adrenaline-fueled girl yelped as a large purple ball landed next to her head. Her eyes widened as Mineta stood before her, clutching a purple ball in his grip.

She had been so mesmerised by Raiden's power and the thought of winning that she'd completely forgot about the shorter-than-average boy. His lips were curled up into an overly confident smirk and Valentina sent him a mildly threatening glare.

"I bet you thought you were real smart, " He spoke, throwing the ball up into the air before catching it casually.

Raiden and Kirishima still seemed to be in the middle of a serious showdown. Valentina glanced back down at Mineta before grinning mischievously at him.

It was finally time for her to use her Quirk.

She thrust her hands out in front of her so quickly, that Mineta barely had time to blink. As a large stream of energy left her palms, the purple-haired boy crashed into the wall. He lay on the ground, unable to get up—almost mirroring Valentina's training sessions with her brother.

Valentina used this as an opening to run towards Raiden, who was mercilessly attacking Kirishima. She let out a war cry as she narrowly dodged one of Raiden's blazing rays. Sliding across the ground on her knees, Valentina wrapped her arms around Raiden's waist, bringing him crashing down onto the ground, holding him down firmly.

"Kirishima!" She yelled to her teammate who looked moved by Valentina's daring strike, "Now!"

The said boy wasted no time as he leapt over Mineta, who was still sprawled out across the ground. Raiden attempted to wriggle out of her grip, his face flushed a deep shade of red due to her close proximity.

His gaze then averted to Kirishima, defeat evident in his chestnut eyes. A victorious grin slid onto her face as she acknowledged what came next.

"The hero team wins!"
