'My Mate is a Greek God' Book by lyndieluv.

Cover: It is eye-catching and will catch attention. 5 points.

Title: It is very long and won't be remembered by readers. I suggest shortening it to make it more memorable. 5 points.

Summary/blurb: It is very short and straight to the point. It will put readers off when they can predict the whole story by reading the summary. I suggest you restructure it and make it a bit longer. 5 points.

Plot: The plot line looks forced and very cliché. I understand it was what you were going for? Although I got tired of reading it because it was too predictable. I get that you're trying to combine all the aspects of the werewolf genre, but you need to make your work stand out from the crowd. After the first five chapters, I can already tell that the book will be very cringe-worthy. I suggest you restructure it and plan it properly to avoid plot holes. 10 points.

Character development: Personally, I don't like your main character. She is bratty and acts like a kid during the book. As the book progresses, her flaws seem to outshine her strengths, and the side characters aren't properly introduced. 10 points.

Style of writing: First person and informal. You did well but failed to capture the surroundings, the character's movements and the scenes playing out. Emotions weren't noticed, so it was hard to follow your characters through their journey. 5 points.

Grammar: Adjectives were overused. It was the first thing that captured my attention. Misspelt words and misuse of punctuations weren't hard to miss. You can get yourself an Editor or use Grammarly to correct your work. 5 points.

Total: 45 points.

Okay, sis, I'm assuming you're working is aiming at the clichés. I know many people love reading clichés. I am not one of them. I love books that keep me on my toes, that have me biting my nails and whispering to God to keep the characters safe. Yes, I am that dramatic.

If you want to write a cliché, I suggest you do a little research that will show you how they work. This will enable you to make your work stand out from others.

Also, you need to map out your book. You need to plan everything out properly to avoid plot holes and digging yourself a literary grave that you can't come out of. Do more of showing than telling. Don't make your readers feel like they are dumb. You don't need to spoon-feed everything to them. You should allow them to think for themselves and their imagination to flow.

I could go on and on about the things you could have done better, but I will not because I am trying to strengthen your esteem and push you in the right direction, not downgrade your work. I can see the potential in your story, and with the right push in the right direction, you will know what to do and correct the errors that occur in your book. After all, we learn every day.

So I advise you do your research. Read books, especially those in your genre, to know the tropes and how to use them properly. Watch YouTubers who are also writers. Join a workshop class to be guided. With time, you will rub shoulders with the authors from New York Times best sellers.

Have a nice day.
