You're not running someone else's race so you don't need what they have because If you needed it then Allah swt would have given it to you.
When thoughts , doubts and fears tell you that you're too young, too old, too short, too tall or not talented enough, let that go in one ear and out the other. Don't disqualify yourself when Allah swt Has already qualified you.
It's your intention towards the race that will determine the outcome and the satisfaction obtained from the race.
