Are We In Hell?!

I do not own the image above, it belongs to it's respectful owner.

Now, I just want everyone to understand that I am changing up Nicole and Hope a little bit for this fic. By that, I mean minor things are going to be exaggerated in some ways. Like, Hope's height - as I am making her very tall, taller than usual at least - and Nicole's drinking - who normally wouldn't drink anything alcoholic in the underground if she fell, leaves too much to chance. - for example. Nicole comes up to Hope's lower chest, more to like her ribs, close to her stomach in fact. Nicole looks even shorter because of Hope wearing wedged shoes - so it looks like Nicole only comes up to her stomach instead of her stopping at the start of her chest.

It's a parody, so things - character traits, little things about them - are going to be exaggerated to hilarious degrees. Even my OC's.

For the heights, just know that I do change their heights depending on the story and these heights are in no way canon for my OCs or undertale - as no official height chart was given for the game. I just used a online chart that is based on Frisk being 7 or 8 years old, meaning they would be around 4 ft if they were the normal height for children around that age. So, just know that their heights - for my OC's - are exaggerated in this story - Hope being very tall and Nicole being shorter. More at the end notes.

Also, the characters in here are going to be slightly different - even in this setting -, as they would react differently to Hope and Nicole compared to Frisk, even the hilarious Parody!Frisk, as they are playing off one another differently. Really, everyone is over exaggerated in this story, as it is a parody/crack, let's be honest here, this is a free for all if I want it to be and can make it like that.

Logic, for once, has no place in here. I could make a unicorn come out of nowhere and it would be fine, because Hope and Nicole are trapped in this parody of Undertale. And even with Hope and Nicole being different, even a little bit, from how they usually are, they still have their common sense - well, Hope does. Nicole is more or less street smart while Hope is the one with more common sense. Too bad her ditsy, air-headed nature sometimes kills off that common sense she has.

But, like I said, this is a free for all if I want it to be. This is all just to make things more fun in my mind. But, with that out of the way, time for the chapter!

-Start Chapter-

"Oh.... My head..." Nicole groaned, reaching up to rub her pounding head. "What did I drink?"

"What didn't you drink?" Hope whimpered out, curled up and slowly waking back up. Pain flared on her as she tried to move, the smell of flora in the air. "Everything hurts...."

"Howdy!"

Two heads shot up, two set of eyes wide open.

Hope fiddled with her glasses, staring at the source of the voice with socked eyes while Nicole groaned and grabbed her head.

Glancing around, they both found that there were in some sort of underground cave in the mountain, the hole above them giving light. They were on a golden flower patch, another flower with a face smiling at them.

"Am I still drunk?" Nicole groaned out, slowly stumbling to stand up. Hope quickly followed, making to stand behind the slumped woman. "Is there really a talking flower right there, or am I so plastered I'm seeing things?"

"A talking flower..." Hope whispered, taking in the yellow flower smiling up at them. "What is this? Alice in Wonderland?"

"I hope it's the book version and not the movie then." Nicole said right back, slowly reopening her eyes to look down at the flower. "So, I got a hangover the size of Jupiter right now. Talk now or I'm going and taking my friend with me."

"Hangover?" Hope scoffed, still feeling so annoyed that Nicole got out and drank so much they ended up in this situation. "I'm one big bruise all over! I'm lucky I just hurt all over and don't have any broken bones. It's not like I have any fat for padding..."

"Well, if I did what you did and fall through a hole through a mountain, I'm sure my head would hurt too." The flower laughed, a southern accent bleeding through it's voice.

"Fell?" Hope glared down at her friend while she talked to the flower. "Oh, no. My best friend over here got drunk out her ass, decided to walk up a supposedly cursed mountain after getting drunk, and then went right into the hole, not fell, forcing me to try and grab her only to be dragged down with her."

Yeah, Hope was not going to be over this for a while. Not for a long time.

"Oh." The flower blinked, loosing it's smile at this answer.

"I know I messed up, Hope." Nicole lifted her hands up in peace as she turned to stare up at said friend. "I should have called it quiets after drink number twenty, but number one hundred just sounded like a better stopping point at the time. Sorry."

"Sorry my bony ass." Hope pouted, looking away. "Now we're down here with a talking flower of all things."

"Yeah, about that." Nicole turned back down to the flower. "So, am I drunk still or...?"

"Nah. I'm Flowey, your new friend!" Flowey smiled, said smile turning very demonic for a brief moment.

"Oh heavenly Lord and Father, we dropped right into Hell haven't we?" Hope whimpered, tears starting to form after she caught sight of the demonic face. "Nicole, you dragged me into Hell! I tried to do good, and this happens? To eternal damnation?! Why, Lord?!"

"I'm so sorry, Hope!" Nicole hurried to apologize, hating to see her taller friend cry. "I'll make it better! I swear, somehow, I will make this work even if I have to take over this place, even if it's not Hell, I'll still do it!"

Flowey blankly watched the two freaking out woman for a moment. The taller one crying - admittedly making him feel guilty for some reason, it was like making a tired and sick person cry when they were on bed rest - and the shorter one trying everything to make the taller one stop - and failing hard at that. After watching for a few more moments, Flowey decided to just move things along.

"This isn't called Hell, don' you worry about that." Flowey told the two woman, smiling. "This here is called the Underground."

"R-Really?" Hope sniffed, wiping her eyes. "I-I'm not going to loose my soul?"

"R-Right..." Flowey answered, looking shifty while doing so. "T-That's never going to happen. None at all. Really. Yep... No loosing SOULS here...."

"That's great!" Nicole beamed, one worry off her pounding head. "Then, how do we get out of here?"

"Nah way friend, I'm your buddy now." Flowey told them instead of answering.

"That's wasn't a answer." Nicole lost her smile, a deadly glare, not something unlike someone would see on a cobra, directed onto the flower. "Do you know a way out or not? A yes or no question isn't too hard for you, is it?"

"Well, he is a flower. They don't have brains like we do." Hope pointed out absentmindedly. Then she paused, thinking on what she said. "That wasn't racist, was it?"

"Kinda, but that's not the point." Flowey's eye twitched for a moment before he went on. A little white dot came out of nowhere in front of Flowey, making Nicole move so that she was right in front of Hope. "Just walk right into my little white seed thing."

"That doesn't sound right." Hope frowned as she looked over Nicole's head at the 'little white seed thing'. "Sounds like something a biology or health teacher would say."

"Kinky." Nicole sighed, crossing her arms. "But, no thanks on that."

"Do it friend, it'll teleport you both right out of here." The yellow flower just smiled innocently while saying this.

Hope and Nicole glanced at one another, talking with their eyes. After a few seconds, Hope shrugged with a worried and tired face. Nicole then sighed, looking to the 'white seed thing' that was floating in front of her now. Sighing at the still pounding headache she has, Nicole reached up to touch the thing in front of her.

"AH!" Nicole yelped in pain, hand quickly yanking back at the sting she got for touching the damn thing. Hope's hands reached out to grab onto Nicole's shoulders, tightly gripping the jacket in her fists in fear.

"What the hell fucker?!" Nicole demanded, holding her hand in pain. "What was that for?!"

"Just kidding!" Flowey's face turned demonic once more. "It's a kill or kill-be world- kill or killer be world out there." Flowey tired to say, only for him to mess up more and more. "Why can't I say that?"

He would have went on, if not for Nicole not dealing with what she deemed; This Shit.

Before Flowey could go on, a foot was suddenly coming down on him.

"ARH!" Flowey yelled out in pain, the foot stomping on him a few more times before stopping and getting off him. The now wilted and bruised flower Monster groaned in pain, slowly lifting his head to look up at the enraged Nicole and stressed Hope.

"Listen here you little motherfucker," Nicole started, face twisted in rage. "I don't give any fucks who you are, what kind of world this is, or anything like that. All I want is for me and Hope here to get out of this place safely. And you know what? You're not helping us safely." Here, Nicole gave a malicious smirk. "Do I have to pull up this weed? Or maybe burn it instead?"

"I just want to go home." Hope sighed, rubbing her face, hands shaking as her blood pressure drops from the stress and hunger. "I vote for whatever is quickest."

But, before anyone could do anything, a voice called out.

"STAY BACK EVIL CREATURE! HADOUKEN!"

Quickly grabbing onto her friend, Hope yanked her back just in time. What looked like a blue energy beam came hurling towards Flowey, making him scream out in pain and go flying away. Both woman blinked, watching Flowey disappeared into the shadows before they both turned as one to see....a goat woman?

"Man, furries would be in heaven down here." Nicole muttered out, looking up at the goat woman, who was dressed in purple and white robes.

"What are you two doing here, small children." The goat woman smiled at them, while the both of them frowned.

"We're not kids." Nicole said insulted, while at the same time Hope point out "I'm taller than you, Ms."

Hope, herself, was a bit over 7' with her wedged shoes on, while Nicole was only 4'1''. But, while Nicole was short, it was obvious to see that she was a grown woman with her features and how developed she was, where Hope on the other hand was thin to a sickly degree because of genetics. This goat woman in front of them was well over 6', but not to Hope's height, even without her shoes on. So, yeah, both were feeling a bit insulted on being called 'children' when the both of them don't look like children at all.

"I'll have you know that I wasn't even born with baby fat." Hope put a hand to her chest, wondering just how old this goat woman was to think she was a child.

"And just because I'm short doesn't mean I'm young damn it!" Nicole frowned as she glared up at the new comer.

"Well, I guess the two of you are stuck down here forever." The Goat Woman went on like she wasn't even listening to the two of them.

'Forever.' The word repeated in Hope's head. Her hazel eyes glazed over as the word just kept going on, echoing in her head. 'Forever. Forever. Foreverforeverforeverforeverforever-!'

"Really?!" Nicole glanced up to Hope, who was now blankly looking at nothing. Quickly looking away from her broken friend, Nicole tried to come up with a solution to their whole 'Being stuck underground with a bunch of weirdos' problem. "Don't you have like, a ladder or something? What about a grappling hook? I'm sure a bunch of hikers have dropped things in here before!"

"No. Only children have fallen down the hole." The Goat Woman shook her head with a smile.

Nicole quickly took a step back, looking the Goat Woman up and down. "....And what happened to those children?" 'Because, frankly, this just got a bit disturbing.' She finished in her mind, making sure that Hope was behind her.

".....I don't want to stay here forever!" Hope finally snapped, finally getting out of her thoughts. Quickly reaching into her pockets, she pulled out a cell phone. Using the touch screen, she turned it on, only to nearly break it by almost dropping it. ".....No service."

"Technology has failed us." Nicole sighed out. The short woman then turned to look back up at the Goat Woman. Who didn't even try to answer her last question - thus, making her very suspicious. "......We need to get out of here."

"No, what gave you that thought." Hope muttered sarcastically under her breath, rolling her eyes.

"Don't sass me, Hope!" Nicole hissed over her shoulder.

"You're the one that got us into this mess, I'll sass you all I want!" Hope hissed right back, her shaking hands gripping her sweater tightly.

"Children-" The Goat Woman started, only to get cut off by Nicole.

"Listen, strange Goat Woman, Man, or just plain Goat, whatever the hell your gender is," Nicole started, eyes narrowing as her lips formed a snarl. "I don't care what you say or do - we are not going anywhere with you!"

-Fifteen Minutes Later-

"I can't believe  we're going somewhere with you." Nicole grumbled to herself, walking behind the Goat Woman who introduced herself as Toriel. Hope walked right besides Nicole, lightly shaking and keeping a weary eye on everything. "How did this even happen?!"

"Well, seeing that you two are stuck down here forever," Toriel started, not seeing Hope flinch at her words. "let's get you back to my house, children."

"Do....Do you always take strangers to your house?" Hope asked slowly, eyes finally resting on the Monster leading them. "And you keep calling us children too....that's kind of creepy. I mean, what if your just leading us to some cage or dungeon for whatever reason?"

"I'm just trying to keep you safe children." Was all the Goat Monster said on the matter.

'Your definition of 'safe' and my definition might not be the same thing though!' Hope mentally screamed, feeling like she was following a predator of some kind back to their lair. Common sense said that she needed to run and just get out, but when dealing with Monsters and potential death, common sense might not have a place right now. 'Oh Lord, I'm going to die, ain't I?! The weak, sickly ones are one of the first to go in the movies! Beside the big stupid ones, like the jocks that is....'

"Potential sex dungeons aside," Nicole cut in - Hope whimpering in the background at her words, whispering that she's not ready and she doesn't want to go! -, jerking her thumb to point over her shoulder, behind her. "You know that creepy ass flower thing is following us, right?"

All three paused, turning to look behind them. Flowey stilled once their eyes rested on him. "Shit." Flowey cursed, going straight back into the ground.

"First falling into what is potentially hell, and now a stalker." Hope muttered to herself, feeling so done with everything. "What's next on the list of shit I do not want to put up with ever in my life?"

"He's just one of the many Monsters you may encounter on your travels." Toriel explained. Then she turned forward and gestured in front of her. "Now, try conversing with this dummy."

Both human women blinked, thinking that they had heard wrong. Hope thinking that it was a culture misunderstanding, and Nicole thinking that maybe she was still very much hungover. But still, both turned to look forward, and saw a dummy in front of them - when there wasn't one in front of them before they had turned around.

"This is some paranormal level bullshit." Nicole's eyes went wide, shifting so that Hope was behind her. "Where did that come from?!"

"Is it another Monster?" Hope looked the dummy up and down. It didn't look like it was breathing, but for all Hope knew, not all Monsters needed to breath. Hell, there could be vampires down here for all she knew, and this just made it certain that she was going to have nightmares about this whole 'trip' for the rest of her life.

"Just stall it until I come and attack it." Toriel stated, turning to look down at the dummy with a glare.

"Attack it?" Nicole glanced to the dummy and then to Toriel, face annoyed for many reasons. Mostly for not knowing for what is going on. "For what? Why do you want to attack a dummy for? Why are we even have to talk to the dummy? Just what game are you playing Goat Lady?!"

Nicole would have went on, if not for Hope moving around her and lightly slapping her shoulder as she went around.

"I'll do it if it means we'll get out here quicker. It'll be just like playing pretend, so it should be easy." Hope softly said as she moved so that she was now standing in front of the dummy instead of behind Nicole. "So, how's it going....um...Mr? Mrs? Ms?....Mx?....Let's go with Mx to be safe." Hope muttered to herself and the dummy, before going on when the dummy didn't say anything. "Mx. Dummy, how is it going?"

"Very good." Toriel smiled, Nicole meanwhile was rolling her eyes, knowing that this was either going to go south or just make her want to crack a rib laughing in the end. "Keep going."

Now, there are a few things to know about Hope Honey to understand how and why she spoke such words next.

The first is that she is a babysitter. She watches over babies, toddlers and little children. She is used to playing games, such as pretend, house, and a ton of other games that involve imagination to varying degrees. There is also the case of children using serious sentences, thoughts, words, and actions that they have seen other people do in their games. One such example was Hope playing house with a little boy, and they ended up 'divorced' because he demanded one out of nowhere - showing just what was going on in his own home, or showing that his parents don't sensor anything on the TV.

The next thing is that Hope is an artist. She sews, she crafts, she sketches, she colors, she paints, she writes. Meaning that she has a ton of natural imagination and creativity inside of her. Her mind can be a scary place with how many weird ideas pop up in it, but it can also be a beautiful one. But you know what they say; All beautiful things can be deadly.

The final thing is that Hope has a....funny sense of humor, much too blunt and her imagination can some times run away from her. She is ditsy and air-headed too, so, at times, she doesn't understand that what she is saying is wrong or that she shouldn't be saying it all. Not much of a filter in her.

So, Nicole wasn't shocked that when Hope went on talking with the dummy, the things she was saying and the picture she was painting wasn't a nice one. At times, Nicole found, Hope had too much fun playing pretend.

"How's the wife and kids, Mx. Dummy?" Hope smiled pleasantly down at the dummy, only for that smile to be quickly wiped off her face. With wide horrified eyes, Hope put a hand to her chest, right over her heart. "She died?!" Turning quickly, the tall, sickly woman looked at Toriel, scandalized. "Did you know about this, Ms. Goat Woman?!"

Nicole snorted at the fact that the both of them haven't been calling the Goat Monster by her name, or if they have, it was only a few times. Toriel, meanwhile, was gaping and quickly looked down at the dummy. "No!"

"She died just two weeks ago, how couldn't you?! Mx. Dummy lives practically next door to you!" Hope frowned at Toriel, looking so disappointing. Nicole knew that look alone has sent many kids crying - and some adults too. "Not only that, but now their children are motherless!"

"Oh no...." Toriel gasped, hand going to her mouth in horror.

"Mx. Dummy is going through a really hard, depressing time right now, and here you are, forcing me to talk to them when they do not want to talk about it. Everyone handles depression and the loss of a loved one differently, some do not want to be around others and not want to talk it out!" Hope huffed, missing Nicole's impressed look. "Here, listen. Do you want to talk Mx. Dummy?" Hope softly asked the dummy. There was no answer. Seeing this, Hope turned back to Toriel with a frown on her gaunt face. "See! They don't want to talk at all."

Watching Toriel panic and Hope having too much fun with everything, Nicole face-palmed as hard as she could.

'This is going to be a long ass day....... I need a drink.'

--------------------------

"Alright, now let's go through this spike room."

Both Hope and Nicole looked at the rows of spikes coming out of the ground with wide eyes.

"The fuck lady!?" Nicole yelled, quickly shoving Hope behind her and backing away from the very real and dangerous spikes.

Pointing over Nicole's head at the spikes, Hope could feel her heart beating at a fast pace. "Why would you even want to go through here?!" The tall woman asked with pure confusion and shock in her voice. Hope was dumbfounded - not even she was ditsy enough to just calmly walk through a pathway of spikes. "Why do you want us to go through it!?"

"I just fancy a bit of a walk." Toriel calmly said with a sweet smile. Both humans glanced at one another and agreed that this Monster was insane.

"M-Maybe it's different for Monsters?" Hope whispered down to her best friend, bending down so that Toriel wouldn't see her lips moving. "Cultural misunderstanding?"

"One that could kill us!" Nicole whispered back in a hiss, eyes glaring up at Toriel. "Look, even if it is a cultural misunderstanding or some weird difference in biology that makes it okay for Monsters to walk on spikes and live to tell the tale, it doesn't mean we have to do it to!"

The humans gulped as one, silently speaking to one another. Then, finally, Hope gave one short nod. Nicole then turned her attention to Toriel as Hope finally stood up straight.

"You go first - we follow." Was the demand that neither would budge on. Luckily for Toriel, she agreed to it without one word in protest. Most likely knowing that they could get hurt on those spikes. So, with that, she took a step on one of the spikes, and said spikes just went down, showing that it wasn't harmful at all. While grateful to that, as they have to follow right after her, the humans had a feeling that the spikes were not all harmless.

What followed was something Hope and Nicole did not see coming at all.

"Alright, now to take a right-Arg!" Toriel started to step on one of the spikes on the right, only to get said spike through the foot.

"I think it's a left here-AH!" Multiple spikes came out from the ground, all of them stabbing Toriel's stomach. Toriel on the other hand just smile and laughed. "Oh, these silly spikes - haha."

'Does she think they're alive or something?' Nicole blankly thought to herself, following after the Monster, with Hope close behind her.

Finally, they made it across - both humans fine. Toriel on the other hand....

"There we go, easy!" Toriel beamed happily.

"Um....are you okay?" Hope slowly asked, looking at all the injuries and red spots on the goat Monster. Those spikes really did a number on the other.

"Huh, what do you mean?" Toriel asked in confusion, tilting her head with a smile.

"You....were just stabbed by a bunch of spikes." The tall human stated the obvious, glancing around as if said spikes would suddenly come out of the walls to stab her.

"What?" She didn't even notice all the wounds, nor did she even glance down at herself to see all the blood on her.

Hope took in a deep breath, slowly letting it out. Looking up at the cave ceiling, she mentally prayed for anyone, God or whoever is watching her and most likely laughing at them all, to give her strength to keep her sanity. "Never mind."

"You done excilent this far children." Toriel started to say with a happy grin.

"I keep telling you we're not children! I am over eighteen, I'm over twenty-one! I am legally able to drink, drive and own a house! Hope's only a year younger than me!" Nicole cut in angrly, only for Toriel to ignore what she was saying. Hope sighed, mentally asking why they were stuck with this delusion goat woman-oh, wait. She knows why. Because her best friend decided on a drunken whim to climb up a mountain and accidentally stumble into a whole and she was too much of a good friend to just let her drop.

Hope should have slammed the door in Nicole's face when decided to drag her out on some 'girl's night' knowing full well that she doesn't really drink. Would have stopped this mess from happening to her.

Not listening to Nicole's rant about being legal age, Toriel dramatically lifted an arm up, as if shielding herself from something horrible. "Forgive me!"

"For what, calling us children?-"

"Oh Lord, you really are going to kill us!-"

What Nicole and Hope started to say was silenced pretty quickly while they watched Toriel just run. Glancing to one another, as one, they slowly looked back to still see Toriel running, panting all the while. They stood there awkwardly, waiting to see what Toriel was trying to do.

Finally, Toriel stopped.....to hide behind a column and watch them. In plain sight still. Nothing covering her.

She'd make a terrible stalker in the long run.

".....Does she know that we can still see her?" Hope eventually asked, not knowing what was going on.

"I think she thinks that it's a good hiding place - doesn't mean it is though." Nicole shrugged before cupping her hands around her mouth. "HEY! WE CAN STILL SEE YOU!"

Toriel just tries to hide her face, as if her not being able to see them means that they can't see her.

"WE CAN STILL SEE YOU-Oh, fuck it all." Nicole sighed, rubbing her face.

"What is she even doing?" Hope still had no idea what was going on. "What's she hoping to accomplish?"

"Who the hell knows." Nicole grunted out. Grabbing Hope's arm, she started to drag her down the hall to meet the not so hidden Toriel. "Let's just get this over with already."

"I just hope this doesn't get any weirder." Hope prayed under her breath, wishing with all her might.
