"Jieun-ah! Wake up sweetheart!" Jaemin called out from the kitchen cussing to himself when another bacon was now burnt.

He groans and takes the piece of meat towards the bowl for their dog. Almost immediately the samoyed dog, Jen, came running in at the smell of the burnt meat.

Jaemin watched his pet dog take the burnt bacon in her mouth before she runs off to somewhere in the house making a messy trail of oil on the floor.

"Goddammit," He muttered and glances at the time. "Shit," he cussed and turns the stove off quickly finishing up a meal for one person.

He decided to let his daughter have the meal instead because one, there's not a lot of time to cook more and two, Jieun will be late for her first day in kindergarten.

He'll just order some breakfast meal in a random fast food restaurant than spend more time in this damn kitchen wasting and burning food anyway.

He puts the pots and pans in the sink as he looks at the table with a plate of food and a glass of orange juice besides it but an empty seat in front of it.

He sighed and rushes to one of the bedrooms upstairs. He doesn't bother to knock and just goes straight right in to see a little girl wrapped around a big blanket, still sleeping.

Her hair was very messy, not to mention it clearly matches with her messy room. Her teddy bear was now on the floor with one of her leg draped down the side as she was snoring away.

The father clicked his tongue and walks over the bed lightly shaking the little girl to wake her up, "Jieun, baby wake up. It's your first day in kindergarten," he said.

Jieun lets out a drawl whine before rubbing her eyes to see her dad looking like he just finished showering yet he still looks like shit. Which is what exactly happened.

"Wake up Ji, don't you want to go to school and make new friends?" He said deciding to pick her up leading them to the bathroom.

Jieun's once droopy and half lidded eyes turned wide open as she gasps, "I wanna go to school dad! I'm so excited!" She chirped.

Jaemin chuckled undressing her and helping her wash herself in the bathtub full of bubbles. "Are you going to make new friends?" He asked.

Jieun hummed happily and giggled when her dad was drying her hair with a blow dryer having a little bit of trouble.

"I can't wait dad! I wanna play with my new friends and also meet our teacher!" She said as they finished getting ready after minutes of trying to tie her hair into a pony tail.

They walk towards the kitchen as Jieun ate her food that was on the table while Jen came in and sat beside her little legs swinging around.

"Don't forget to listen and follow what your teacher says okay? Also be very good and respectful towards them," Jaemin said.

Jieun nodded at her father's words before she finishes her breakfast and rushes back to the bathroom brushing her teeth while Jaemin just places the dishes in the sink.

"I'll clean it up later," Jaemin mumbled staring at the dishes that were piling up in the sink. He shrugged and gets Jieun's backpack for her.

Jieun smiled brightly when she was all set for kindergarten and even rushes out of the house first, "daddy hurry up! I'm going to be late!" She said.

Meanwhile, Jaemin mentally checks if they have forgotten something before closing and locking the door with his keys.

He laughed when Jieun slams the passenger side door and buckled her seatbelt as she was whining for him to hurry up before they finally drive off.

Jaemin locks the car and held Jieun's hand as they walk in the building and asks for help to the directions of Jieun's classroom.

They thank the man who had helped and guided them before Jaemin looks around at the room seeing another adult with his back facing him.

Even from the back, Jaemin could tell how pretty the man is. His shoulders were broad and wide, you could see a bit of muscles through his oversized sweater, his hair was flamy red yet it suits him very well.

Despite the strong features, there were also– obvious– soft and gentle features of the man.

Even though he has a muscular build, he had a very very obvious small tiny waist that every man could be attracted to along with his thick thighs and soft baby white skin.

Jaemin couldn't believe he was ogling at his daughter's kindergarten teacher on literally her first day.

And he literally couldn't believe that said teacher was none other than Lee Jeno himself.

The red haired was shocked, to say the least, as he stood there wide eyed at the sight of someone that he never thought that could ruin him more than his own stepmom.

"Jaemin?" He lets out as a whisper, although the level of his voice was inaudible for others, somehow Jaemin heard him.

The blond swallowed dryly, "uhm, hey," his voice cracking making him mentally slap himself while his own daughter was giggling at his voice.

Jeno pursed his lips, "it's been awhile," he mumbled as Jaemin nodded stiffly at his words. "Didn't expect to see you here."

"Exa– I mean, yeah me neither," Jaemin replied and mentally slapped himself again.

Jieun smiled brightly at her kindergarten teacher with a little wave, "hi teacher!" She greets.

Jeno blinks and glances at her with his iconic beautiful eye smile, "good morning darling, what's your name?" He asked.

"Jieun! Na Jieun!" The little girl said excitedly.

"Nice to meet you Jieun, and how old are you sweetie?" Jeno said shaking her hand lightly.

Jieun lifts her hands up with her fingers showing the number five, "I'm five!" She chirped.

Jeno giggled and smiles at her, "a big girl now hm? Why don't you come over to the other kids and play with them?" He said gesturing to his other students who were playing loudly.

One of the kids were screaming as he was being chased by another kid who seems like he was a bit older. Two girls were just at the slide taking turns while another little boy was throwing plastic balls around.

Basically it was slightly chaotic, and Jeno knew that.

Jieun suddenly hid behind his dad's leg looking a bit shy and scared, "what's wrong Ji? Don't you want to play and make friends?" Jaemin asked placing his palm on her head.

Jieun shook her head still hiding as Jeno softens and inches closer not knowing Jaemin was staring at him holding his breath at the closeness.

"Don't be shy sweetie, we're all friends here and we'll all have fun. You can stick by me if you need something, alrighty?" Jeno said softly.

Jieun nodded slowly as Jeno held his hand out for her, she takes it and walks over unhurriedly gripping on his hand tightly.

Suddenly, a little girl skips over to them with a friendly smile, "Hi! I'm Jia! What's your name?"

"Jieun," she said shyly as Jia was smiling at her.

"Hi Jieun! Let's be friends!" Jia exclaimed happily as Jieun smiled at her and took her hand before Jeno gestures at them.

"Go play and have fun baby," he said as the two little girls took off to the slide.

Jaemin gulped when Jeno stood up from his crouching position and their faces a few inches close, the red haired bit his lip before stepping back keeping distance.

And somehow Jaemin's heart slightly broke at that.
