"you really took my word seriously when I said don't be late," Jeno comments furrowing his eyebrows when his boyfriend stood at the door waiting for him.

Jaemin shrugged, "I didn't want my kitten to be upset," he replied nonchalantly resulting a satisfying blush on Jeno's cheeks.

"Don't say things like that, Jieun is in the nearby bathroom," the red haired boy scolded before continuing. "Also, that was days ago." He chuckled.

The elder rolled his eyes, "so? Can I not make it a routine picking you up early?"

"You make it a routine for me but not Jieun's? That's mean," Jeno said exaggerating his words a bit whilst grabbing his things.

Jaemin huffed and wrapped his arm around the younger's waist when they meet at the doorway, "I'm kidding, sort of..." He trailed off earning a flick on his forehead.

He winced as Jeno pursed his lips, "does Jieun know?" He asked only getting an eyebrow raised from the elder. He sighed and added, "us." Gesturing between them quickly.

The blond drawls an "ohhh" before shaking his head as an answer to his lover's question. "Not yet, I suppose," he shrugged.

"Oh"

"Why? Do you want her to know?" Jaemin hums lifting up the younger's chin gently looking at his pretty eyes while the boy was trying to shy away.

Jeno blushed even more, getting all shy and embarrassed.

It's funny because just a few days ago, he was so confident and aggressive (not like Jaemin finds it sexy and adorable or anything, pfft nooo). Then now, he's back in to his shy shell again.

"It's just that–" the red haired boy pursed his lips before taking a deep breath. "I just feel like it's better if she knows...you know? I... Don't want to keep our relationship a secret behind your own daughter's back."

"I get that," Jaemin speaks up after some thought on the younger's words. "But only if you surely want to," he said reassuringly.

Jeno smiles shyly and nodded a bit, "of course... But do you want to?" He said tilting his head to the side with his eyes blown wide like a child as his hair flopped in the same direction.

Chuckling, the elder tightens his arm around the boy's waist and pecks his forehead lovingly. "You know as much as my daughter and I have a childish feud, I wouldn't keep anything from her."

"You kept our history from her."

"She doesn't need to know how fucked up her dad was back then." Jaemin tries to defend himself even though he knew it was still pathetic.

"You're still fucked up now." Jeno deadpanned with a poker face on resulting his boyfriend to get offended.

"Hey!"

"But I find it hot."

"Wh– oh... Really?"

"Don't smirk at me!"

"You started it! But why?"

"It's...a turn on..."

"Is that so?"

"Stop~"

"Mr. Nono? Daddy?" Jieun speaks up after getting out of the bathroom and seeing her kindergarten teacher wrapped around her father's arms with their faces so close.

The two adults flinched and turns to the little girl who was confused, "h-hey sweetheart, how was your day here in school?" Jaemin said approaching his daughter with his still face flustered.

"Good," Jieun answered nonetheless curtly before asking, "why was daddy hugging Mr. Nono like that?"

"Like what?" Jaemin asked trying to be dumbfounded only resulting a face palm from Jeno behind him who's still blushing badly.

Jieun shrugged and points at a married couple a few steps away with the man's arm around his wife. "Like you love each other." She said bluntly.

Her answer made Jaemin choke on his spit before biting his lip, "we-well...uhm–"

He gets interrupted by a cough from Jeno as the latter walks over to them with a smile, yet his cheeks are still pink.

He glances at Jaemin with a look as the elder nodded understandingly, "sweetheart, can daddy tell you something?" He asked the little girl.

Jieun nodded obediently and waited patiently for what the adult was about to say to her. Hopefully she's not in trouble or she won't hesitate to tattle on the man.

"The thing is... Are you okay and happy if Mr. Nono and I are together?" Her father hesitated to ask chewing on his lip.

With a nod, Jieun mumbles, "of course... Mr. Nono and Daddy look happy when they're together, I'm happy if they're happy."

The two adults smiled softly with their cheeks turning pink from her small yet genuine words on her comment about them.

"Well... Is Jieun okay if Daddy and Mr. Nono are together?" Jaemin tested while Jieun tilts her head and looks from Jeno to Jaemin back and forth.

"You mean..."

"Yes sweetie, your father and I are dating." Jeno smiles shyly answering the possible and obvious question she was about to ask. "Is that alright with you?"

A pause of silence took over with two adults getting impatient and nervous while a little girl processed the sudden news. Before squealing. Loudly.

Jieun starts squealing and jumping around pumping her fists in the air like how she usually does when she answered a question correctly or earned a star.

"Daddy and Mr. Nono are dating! Yay!" She cheered and turns around to hug the two adults by their necks clearly happy.

"Calm down, Ji." Jaemin chuckled pulling away while his daughter was still celebrating loudly earning some looks from people nearby.

Jieun giggled and calms herself down, panting heavily from all the jumping and squealing she did just a few seconds ago.

She then blinks before turning to Jaemin, "can I call Mr. Nono, papa?" She asked suddenly resulting the two adults in front of her widen their eyes.

"We-well...uhm I don't think he–"

"Of course, darling." The red haired boy smiles softly making the little girl beam brightly at his given permission.

Jieun squeals again before hugging Jeno tightly by his legs as the boy brushed her hair gently still smiling and hugging her back.

The blond man joins the hug before leaning in to whisper to Jeno's ear, "are you comfortable with this?" He asked worriedly not wanting the younger to feel pressured or anything.

The red haired boy only smiled and kissed his cheek, "I know it might be too soon and all, but– I don't mind...this," he whispered back shyly.

Jaemin grins and pecks his temple, "Donghyuck is going to kill me when he finds out we've been dating for days now without him knowing."

His words only earned a giggle from Jeno and a small "good luck."
