SO!! For those who don't know, I've been diagnosed with ADHD since I was nine around the same time as a different diagnosis which I'll get in more detail about in a later chapter.

Recently my mom began voicing her concerns about how maybe that wasn't the only weird thing about my brain and said she had a suspicion that I might be slightly autistic, so I got some more testing done in two separate places.

(One really focused on my IQ, and the other delivered and gave me a diagnosis-or several)

My mom's suspected something since second grade, and because people kept telling her "Em's gonna grow out of it" and that she was being paranoid, she didn't have me tested (I have no grudge for that btw). 

  At least till I said I wanted it done.

and my mother was right; I am mildly autistic. also, I've got anxiety disorder and ocd as well as ADHD.

trust your gut, because it's probably right.
