Wilbur kept on driving through the city, he looked out for Aripellian survivors but saw nothing except a mob of the infected. One came so close to the window he had to lash out a paw and punch it away. He decided to stop running over the 'zombies' and get to the country, hopefully he could find someone there. He sped the car up and shot off along the highway towards the Nuerok Mountains. The sun started to dip along the horizon and a lone bird screeched, Wilbur started to get very nervous, he was never good in the dark. The car had made it to the end of the city and was now speeding off towards were Wilbur knew a small shopping complex was.

His fuel was running out, on his way to the country he spotted two 'zombies' munching on a dead deer. They growled when they saw him and tried to chase the car but failed and went back to devouring their deer. Wilbur had been warned about the forests and country before the infection had taken over his lab assistant Marty Robertson. They held cannibal tribes, dangerous animals, unstable caves, lakes and rivers, large bugs and many more dangers he couldn't be bothered to list. Wilbur shot a glance at the fuel. It was almost all gone, the old rust bucket had leaked most of it onto the road. He estimated about having fifteen minutes of fuel left. He kept going until he reached the shopping complex. Most of the windows were smashed and a 'zombie' wandered around on it's own. Wilbur jumped out the car and shot but missed, he reloaded his weapon and the creature came closer, he shot again and hit it's arm causing it to fall off. He shot yet again and hit the monsters eye and it fell backwards and hit the floor with a thud.

Wilbur grinned like a maniac as he saw the 'zombie' used to be a shop assistant so he looked in the pockets of the monster and found car keys. 'Thanks' he said as he kicked the body in sheer disgust. He ran into the shopping complex. He saw a chemist, grocery store, bakery café, newsagent, gardening store and what looked to be a store selling multiple things including a very nice looking electric scooter.

Wilbur ran into the grocery store and straight to the isle he knew was selling protein. Large containers of the stuff were on the shelves along with protein bars. He snatched it all up and wondered why this place hadn't been looted before. He had his arms full of jerky, protein bars and protein powder. He shoved it all into his small bag and it bulged like never before. Wilbur spotted a shelf full of water and long life milk so he grabbed two of each both and held them under his arms. Next he found a small can section with multiple cans of food. Wilbur grabbed canned pineapple, canned beetroot and canned fish. His arms were full so he started to walk to the chemist not believing his luck. He had found a supermarket that was quite beaten up but hadn't been raided.

He found the chemist and went behind the desk, there he discovered a small room with stairs leading to another floor. He rushed up the stairs and set everything down in what looked like a storage room. He found that the lights which were attached to their own solar source worked. He happily sat next to his food pile and ate a small amount of beef jerky. He then had a drink of water which he added the protein powder into. It was absolutely disgusting and nearly made Wilbur throw the drink to the other side of the room, but it was a must if he was going out there to find survivors. Wilbur locked the door leading to the stairs and layed down to rest.
